Abstract

PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk Div. Noodle Pekanbaru is a manufacturing company, producing instant noodles. These research focused on the finished goods warehouse. During the activities has been taken, most operator complained of pain in some parts of their body. The complaint will be identified by using Standard Nordic Questionnaire (SNQ). Then assestment of work posture by using Rappid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). Actual work conditions will be obtained, analyzed and evaluated. The results in the preparation of finished goods were the level of risk in moderate activity and needs improvement. On pull/pushment of finished goods to the warehouse location and to the dock, loading into the truck were a high level of risk activities and need to immediately repairs. Recommendations suggested are repositioning of operator’s working position, add giving sufficient space for laying pallet so that the operator more flexible. It also necessary to add tools for laying footing finished goods higher, adding safety devices backs operator.

Abstract

Senyawa kalkonturunan 4’-metoksiasetofenon (E)-1-(4’-metoksifenil)-3-(2-hidroksifenil)prop-2-en-1-on (RMG1) telah disintesis dari senyawa 4’-metoksiasetofenon dan 2-hidroksibenzaldehid dibawah iradiasi gelombang mikromenggunakan kalium hidroksida sebagai katalis. Struktur senyawa kalkon dikonfirmasi berdasarkan interpretasi data spektroskopi UV, IR, 1H-NMR, dan MS. Aktivitas toksisitas senyawa kalkon ditentukan dengan metoda Brine Shrimp Lethality Test terhadap larva Artemiasalina Leach dan menunjukkan aktivitas dengan nilai LC50 = 1,58 x 1029 μg/mLdanmenunjukkanbahwa senyawa kalkon RMG2 tidak memiliki aktivitastoksisitas dengan nilai LC50 diatas 200 μg/mL.

Abstract

Pyrazoline compounds are reported to have many useful biological activities such as antimicrobials, antihyperglycemia, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anticancer and anticonvulsants. The pyrazoline analogues of 3- (2-methoxy-phenyl) -5-naphthalene-1-yl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol were synthesized usingglacial acetic acid as catalyst and assisted by microwave irradiation. The structures of the compounds were obtainedby UV, IR and HRMS spectroscopy data. Antioxidant activity test using DPPH method showed that pyrazoline compound had IC50 value of 27.41 μg/mL.

Abstract

A Multifilter Rotating Shadowband Radiometer has been used to monitor the directly transmitted solar irradiance at six wavelength regions (413.9 nm, 494.6 nm, 612.7 nm, 670.8 nm, 868.0 nm and 939.1 nm) for three clear stable days at Bangi. Extensive observations of the columnar aerosol optical depth (AOD), total column ozone (TCO) and precipitable water content (PWC) have been carried out using this instrument. The result shows that the maximum optical depth of aerosol at the shorter wavelength, especially on 24th February 2002 with mean value of 0.254 (24th February 2002), 0.095 (25th February 2002), and 0.072 (26th February 2002) while the ozone optical depth shows the mean value 0.0153 on 24th February 2002, 0.0174 on 25thFebruary 2002 and 0.0175 on 26th February 2002 with the avarage absorption coefficient (a), 0.2 (24th and 26th February 2002) and 0.1 (25th February 2002). The mean value of water vapor content shows that  = 0.356 cm and k = 0.301 cm for wavelength 939.1 nm. From the aerosol optical depth, it shows the existence of smoke type of aerosol on February, 24th to 25th 2002 with Ångström coefficient, , is 1.534 and 1.5513, respectively, and sea water vapor is 0.9889 on 26thFebruary 2002. From the Ångström coefficient, it shows that atmosphere layer of Bangi at that moment is similar to U.S. Standard Atmosphere, with maximum spectral irradiance on black body temperature is 5860 oK.

Abstract

The study was done in August to September 2015 and located in the Kartama Garden (PSN) on Kartama street Marpoyan Damai district area and KOMPPOS – EM garden (PSO) at the University of Riau, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is determining metal Cu (copper) in vegetable (mustard, convolvulus and lettuce) and soil, determining the rate of pollution metal Cu, analyzing the use of fertilizer and pesticide synthetic levels of metal Cu in a sample and analyzing the impact of agricultural income activity for farmers. Based on the research, levels of metal Cu in vegetables and soil PSN had passed of quality standard Director General POM RI namely 5,0 mg/kg and categorized polluted metal Cu. While sample vegetable KOMPPOS - EM garden (PSO) is still under environmental quality category and including contaminated. Using fertilizer and pesticide synthetic and continuing to exceed doses constantly affects levels of metal Cu in a sample of vegetables and soil significantly. Economically, PSN and PSO farming is agricultural activity that can give advantages for farmers.

Abstract

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) adalah sebuah teknik transmisi paralel menggunakan banyak frekuensi yang saling tegak lurus (orthogonal) sebagai carrier-nya. OFDM telah dikembangkan untuk berbagai aplikasi sistem telekomunikasi karena transmisi data berkecepatan tinggi dan efisiensi dalam pemakaian bandwidth. Namun, OFDM juga memiliki kelemahan terutama kesalahan dalam menentukan awal data sinyal. Pada penelitian ini, sinkronisasi frame modem OFDM didesain untuk menentukan awal data sinyal yang ditransmisikan dalam rentang frekuensi audio. Sinkronisasi frame ini menggunakan teknik cross correlation preamble. Sistem dimodelkan dan disimulasikan menggunakan software Matlab dan diimplemantasikan pada OMAP L137 TMS320C6747. Dari hasil simulasi, variasi frekuensi preamble tidak mempengaruhi performa sinkronisasi frame. Pada implementasi secara real time, sinkronisasi frame modem OFDM menghasilkan suara dan spektrum yang jelas pada frekuensi preamble lebih besar dari 250 Hz.

Abstract

[Computation and modeling] The current solar cell technology is a technology developed by a process that is cheaper and easier in manufacturing. The solar cells sensitized by a dye below abbreviated writing that the DSSC is often also called Grätzel cells or whether the writing in Indonesian to be Sel Surya Berbasis Pewarna Tersensitisasi (SSPT). DSSC is a potential candidate in as a third generation of solar cells (coming soon) because it does not require a material with a high degree of purity so that a low-cost production process. Dye used as a sensitizer can be either synthetic or natural. Metal-based organic dye complex ruthenium using synthetic (it is expensive), but it contains heavy metals that harm the environment. To reduce the cost of DSSC develops organic based on material sensitizer. DSSC using the same principles for the process of photosynthesis that behave as a chlorophyll dye that absorbs light and produces carrier.The effectiveness of DSSC is no doubt that reaching more than 10% but with using this expensive type which is ruthenium complex metal-based organic. It is necessary to study massive research, a material awareness survey that has good performance, environmental costs. In this study will be carried out using DSSC senduduk fruit dye (Melastoma malabathricum) manufacturing and oxide semiconductors are nano materials (nanocrystals) TiO2 anatase gradually the solvotermal techniques.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian uji efek inhibisi enzim α-glukosidase dari ekstrak etil asetat, etanol, dan infusa daun jambu mente (Anacardium occidentale Linn). Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda spektrofotometri dengan substrat p-nitrofenil-α-D-glukopiranosida. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai IC50 ekstrak etil asetat terhadap inhibisi enzim α-glukosidase sebesar 700,696 μg/ml. Sedangkan nilai IC50 ekstrak etanol sebesar 259,840 μg/ml. Akarbose sebagai pembanding memiliki nilai IC50 sebesar 0,128 μg/ml. Selain pengujian ekstrak, dilakukan juga pengujian infusa berdasarkan penggunaan masyarakat secara tradisional yang memberikan daya inhibisi enzim α-glukosidase pada konsentrasi 0,5 g/ml sebesar 98,006 %.

Abstract

Dahlia tubers contain fungus Sporothrix sp which have antimicrobial activity.The objective of this research was to determine the agitation that effect the activity of antimicrobial in malt extract broth (MEB). The result showed that agitation of 150 rpm have the antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus with 21.0 mm and Escherichia colii with 12.8 mm. The identification of function group showed the extract contained O-H, C=O and Amide with UV and IR spectroscopy.

Abstract

Kolang-kaling merupakan salah satu produk yang berasal dari sebuah pohon yang bernama aren. Kolang-kaling dapat dimanfaatkan untuk bahan aneka makanan dan minuman, kandungan seratnya juga baik untuk kesehatan. Dan biasanya kolang-kaling diolah menjadi jenis makanan basah, yaitu manisan kolang-kaling. Akan tetapi manisan yang baik dan dapat diterima konsumen perlu dipertimbangkan tekstur, rasa, warna dan aroma serta kadar gizi yang tinggi. Pada penelitian ini manisan kolang-kaling ditambahkan dengan berbagai jumlah konsentrasi pemanis buatan. Kemudian dilakukan uji pH dan uji fisis dengan parameter berupa Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP), Massa Jenis, Viskositas, Salinitas, Total Disolve Solid (TDS), Konduktivitas, Resistivitas dan uji rasa pada manisan basah kolang kaling. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan jika hasil uji fisis, yaitu ORP dan konduktivitas terbaik terdapat pada sampel manisan kolang-kaling dengan variasi 1 kg kolang –kaling, 1 kg gula, 2 gram pemanis buatan, 1 gram pewarna dan air 1 liter. Kemudian untuk hasil uji fisis lainyya yaitu massa jenis, viskositas, TDS dan resistivitas terbaikterdapat pada sampel manisan tanpa penambahan pemanis buatan dengan variasi 1 kg kolang –kaling, 1 kg gula, 1 gram pewarna dan air 1 liter. Sedangkan pada uji pH, penambahan pemanis buatan tidak mempengaruhi nilai pH dari manisan kolang-kaling, dimana nilai pH cenderung sama pada semua sampel dan setiap penyimpanan.
