Abstract

Cryptography has become an essential aspect in ensuring the security of information and data, especially in the context of script coding that contains secret codes that need to be kept confidential. The problem faced is securing script coding so that it cannot be accessed or modified by unauthorized parties. In this research, we propose the use of a combination of the Vigenere and Beaufort Cipher algorithms to secure script coding. The proposed method involves encrypting and decrypting script coding using both cryptographic algorithms simultaneously. The Vigenere Cipher algorithm is used to protect the integrity and confidentiality of script coding, while the Beaufort Cipher is used as an additional layer to enhance security and prevent attacks. This method is implemented and evaluated using a number of script coding samples that include sensitive secret codes. The results of the method implementation show that the combination of the Vigenere and Beaufort Cipher algorithms successfully improves the security level of script coding. Script coding encrypted using both algorithms becomes difficult to read and modify by unauthorized parties. Additionally, the encryption and decryption processes of script coding run quickly and efficiently, without impeding system performance. This research makes an important contribution to the field of information security, particularly in securing script coding. The combination of the Vigenere and Beaufort Cipher algorithms can be considered an effective solution in maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive script coding.

Abstract

The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) serves as a key indicator of a library's quality and effectiveness. When it comes to OPAC's information retrieval capabilities, they can make it simpler and quicker to track out relevant data. However, in practice, OPACs and other retrieval systems frequently have problems or erroneous collections. Scientists are interested in OPAC usage because of this. Tthis study intends to gauge patron impressions of the Open Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) system in the Medan Area Library. 50 respondents from Medan Area University served as the study's sample of research participants. In this study, tests are conducted utilising validity tests, reliability testing, and descriptive data analysis. Descriptive quantitative research methodologies are also used. The results showed that the ease of use of the OPAC system had a positive impact on perceptions of the usefulness of the OPAC system and attitudes towards OPAC use.  This shows that if OPAC users feel that this system is easy to use, then bringing benefits to students will then affect acceptance of the OPAC system. Students will tend to continue to use the OPAC system to meet their needs effectively.  The user's attitude towards OPAC has a positive impact on the user's willingness to use OPAC.  In addition, the findings show that behavioral intention positively influences actual OPAC use.  The use of web-based OPAC is mandatory for Medan Area University students, so that it affects the actual use of the OPAC system, this is indicated by the frequency of visits to the Medan Area University library website.  It was concluded that the OPAC system was acceptable to Medan Area University library users.

Abstract

A future mother must want the fetus in her womb to be in a healthy condition. A healthy fetus is one that has optimal growth and has sufficient nutrients at the time it is in the womb. The risk of miscarriage and maternal and fetal deaths can be reduced by monitoring fetal health and staying alert when necessary. CTG is carried out in cases where there is a risk of pregnancy and a relatively worrying birth. It will be easier to make further decisions to reduce health risks at birth if the CTG examination shows a good fetal condition. The study aims to study the comparison of different classification algorithms used in determining the exact values of the fetal health datasets used through Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD). The researchers used a data collection of 2126 data points from Kaggle’s website that had 22 variables divided into three categories Normal, Suspect, and Pathological. Prolonged decelerations, abnormal short-term variability, and the percentage of time with abnormally long-term variability are the most significant variables. The results of the study were obtained by dividing the data set into training and trial data, which were then divided into three trials. The results showed that the KNN algorithm had the best accuracy value of 91% in the second trial, the SVM algorithm had the most accurate value of 87% in the first and second trials, the Logistic Regression algorithm had the Best Accuracy Value of 84% in the Second Trial, the Naive Bayes algorithm had the Best Accuracy value of 84%, and the Decision Tree Algorithm had 89% in the First and Second Trials.

Abstract

The tiktok application is a platform application specifically for photos, music and videos that many people like, from children, teenagers, and even adults. Tiktok is in great demand because there is a lot of interesting and useful content. Currently, reviews on the TikTok application have reached 16 million reviews with a rating of 4.4 on the Google Play Store, which has reached 500 million downloads. Many users also have many positive and negative reviews on the TikTok application. Because of this, the researcher conducted a sentiment analysis which was used to analyze user opinions by grouping positive, neutral or negative reviews. The data taken in this study was 2100, using the Python programming language. Then the preprocessing stage is carried out, namely case folding, tokenizing, filtering and stemming. The methods used in this study are the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method, Logistic Regression, and Naïve Bayes. The results of applying the 3 sentiment analysis methods are the Sopport Vector Machine method producing an accuracy value of 82%, Precision 82%, Recall 81% and F1 score 81%. The Naïve Bayes method produces an accuracy value of 79%, Precision 81%, Recall 77% and F1 score 78%, Logisstic Regression Method an accuracy value of 84%, precision 83%, recall 82%, F1 score 83%.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where children fail or grow late due to malnutrition before and after birth. There are still cases of stunted children in Medan City, one of which is due to public ignorance about the intake that children should consume and not knowing the nutrients contained in the intake, so that people have difficulty choosing intake. Because intake for children is also very important in preventing stunting. Using a decision support system (SPK), recommendations for the best intake for children to prevent stunting can be made. The determination of the best intake criteria for children to prevent stunting is G1 = Formation of body tissue cells, G2 = Increases red blood cells, G3 = Improves brain function, G4 = Helps the growth of bones and teeth, G5 = Supports endurance. By utilizing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to select consistent values to obtain a strong value ratio and strengthen the assessment and also the Multi Factor Evalution Process (MFEP) method which determines the final value to be selected in decision making. By utilizing the AHP and MFEP methods in the decision support system, the results of the study can help the Medan City Health Office to determine the best intake of children to prevent stunting so that it is easier to inform young mothers, pregnant women, and also the people of Medan City.

Abstract

By seeing that there are still problems related to the governance of emergency room patient services at Al-Ihsan Hospital, the problems that occur are due to the registration system often experiencing errors so that when patients register through the emergency room they experience obstacles. This research focuses on the design of information technology-based electronic medical record governance in emergency room patient services. This research was conducted with the aim of improving the quality of emergency room patient services so that patient information is available quickly and easily accessible by medical personnel in need. Agile method with Extreme Programming type is used to design the system to be made by going through the stages of planning, design, coding and testing. Needs analysis is done by conducting interviews and making direct observations, then designing the system using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). After the design stage is complete, the system testing stage is carried out to ensure that all functions can run as expected. The results of the application of this method show that the information technology-based RME governance system in emergency room patient services with the Agile XP method can design information technology governance well able to speed up the data entry process, improve data accuracy and facilitate data access by personnel. The conclusion obtained with this information system can improve IT governance-based information function services that are useful for increasing flexibility and responsiveness in emergency room services and making it easier for medical personnel to process data.

Abstract

Inventory information system is an important aspect of running a business, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Barbekoe Coffee is a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in the city of Medan engaged in coffee shops (Coffeeshop). In carrying out its operations, Barbekoe Coffee still uses manual recording on a piece of paper on raw material inventory ranging from incoming raw materials, outgoing raw materials, raw material inventory, to ordering raw materials. This often causes problems ranging from damaged or lost records, repeated ordering of raw materials on the same raw materials and employees who often remove raw materials from the warehouse not in the order in which the raw materials enter. So often found raw materials in damaged and expired warehouses. The purpose of this study is to create and implement an appropriate and accurate inventory information system in order to minimize losses and optimize profits in the Barbekoe Coffee business. The methods used are Buffer Stock, First Expired First Out (FEFO), and Reorder Point. After testing, the system runs as expected. Barbekoe Coffee can implement precise and accurate inventory flows to increase profits and avoid losses due to damaged or expired raw materials.

Abstract

With the rise of online sales transactions through e-commerce and social media, the impact of changing consumer behavior. This has resulted in many sentiment assessments from users of these expedition services. Expedition services are now one of the most popular services. One of the shipping service companies operating in Indonesia is J&T Express. Through social media, especially Twitter with the number of followers up to 154,439 and the number of tweets up to 103,100, a user can form an opinion on the performance of J&T Express and get data as many as 1694 tweets. Machine learning algorithms are needed to enable sentiment analysis to be classified. One of them is the Naive Bayes algorithm. Before running the classification process, a preprocessing process is needed so that the dataset can be recognized by the system. Based on the tests conducted, the results obtained accurasy of 84%, precision of 76%, and recall of 87%. The results of this research show that the data can be used as a basis for evaluating business decisions.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a retail company that uses POS (Point of Sales) application in each of its stores to record transactions, automatic calculations, and print receipts. PT XYZ has millions of transactions every day, therefore system testing is needed to ensure that the POS application is running properly. When testing is done manually, there are often various problems such as inaccurate results due to limited human resources to a lot of time consuming because it is done repeatedly. To overcome these problems, test automation is made using Telenium which is integrated with Jenkins. This research was conducted based on the black box testing method. Input in the system in the form of a test scenario is then executed and the results will be sent via email. During testing, if an error occurs, the location of the error will be displayed in detail and sent via email by Jenkins. The results show that the application of Telenium in testing Kivy-based applications facilitates the testing process and accelerates the discovery of errors in the system so as to improve the quality of applications with a more efficient approach.
