Abstract

The rapid development of technology and science has brought the phenomenon of shifting the orientation of user needs for information technology-based information For this reason, it is necessary to innovate based on the needs of information users. In the library environment of the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra (UMSU), librarians have an important role as creative agents in packaging innovative information based on information technology. Librarians must reflect their role as a creative profession in packaging information and show a focus on using information technology as a foundation for innovation. Therefore, in this case, researchers are interested in examining how the role of UMSU Librarians in providing benefits from librarian creativity to develop innovative strategies in packaging information to suit users and technological developments. The method used in this study is a qualitative method that uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, librarians have carried out 3 creativity that produce innovative information based on information technology at the UMSU Library.  For this reason, information packaging strategies are important so that users can feel a significant improvement and in accordance with the development of science and technology that exists today. The results showed that UPT Library UMSU in its information technology-based product packaging strategy had determined the target in advance, but it had not been planned properly. So the results have not been as expected. Based on the results of the research analysis that has been conducted, it is concluded that the information technology-based product packaging strategy carried out at UPT Library UMSU including digital libraries, e-journals, and online catalogs has not been utilized optimally and has not met user desires. This is due to several factors, namely content, context, and infrastructure. UPT Library UMSU has not made a strategy plan, even though the planning function is the basic foundation of the overall management function.

Abstract

Weak heart is a medical condition that reduces the heart's ability to heat blood throughout the body with optimal efficiency. People with weak heart need regular monitoring regarding their heart condition. Under normal conditions, they should measure the heart rate regularly otherwise a weak heart can lead to serious complications such as acute heart failure or arrhythmias. By using the application, people with heart failure can monitor early signs and symptoms that might indicate complications. The data collected by the application can assist in detecting early changes that are potentially harmful to the patient's health. In this study, the authors designed and developed an IoT and Android-based heart rate monitoring and location tracking system using the prototype method. The prototype method is used in the process of developing this system because it is capable of producing initial prototypes of tools and applications that can be used for testing and validating concepts before carrying out a full implementation. This system consists of two main components, the first is a component of hardware (hardware) and the second is a component of software (software). The hardware used is a pulse sensor that is connected to an Android device via a wireless connection. This sensor is able to detect the patient's heart rate in real-time and send it to the Android device for further processing. In addition, this system is also equipped with a GPS tracking module that allows traveling to the user's location accurately. Software developed using the App Inventor platform. This Android application has an easy-to-use user interface. This application can display real-time heart rate data in graphical form and provide notifications if a significant change is detected in the patient's heart rate. In addition, this application can also display the patient's location on an interactive map. The test results show that this system is capable of monitoring the patient's heart rate with high accuracy and sending data in real-time to an Android device. In addition, tracking the location of the patient's whereabouts was also successfully carried out with an adequate level of precision. This system provides great benefits in monitoring and treating patients with heart failure, enabling medical staff and the patient's family to take quick and appropriate action if there is a significant change in the patient's heart rate or if the patient is in an emergency situation

Abstract

The progress and status tracking system is a way to increase the writer's service satisfaction to track the progress of books to be published. Unfortunately, this tracking system has not been widely used by book publishers. There are still publishers who only use messaging applications such as WhatsApp and e-mail to inform them of the book's progress. It is not effective in providing information to the author. Therefore, the information system for tracking the progress and status of this book order was designed by applying the prototyping method. This method is considered effective in providing solutions because of its superior communication between the customers and the system developer. The progress and status tracking information system provides information on the progress of book printing to the delivery of books to authors. All information is equipped with progress graphics and update date information. With the implementation of this progress and status tracking information system, the process of conveying information about the progress of book publishing will be more effective and efficient. This will increase satisfaction for the author.

Abstract

Mari Photo is a hobby company for people who want to do studio or outdoor photography for whatever needs, such as graduation photography or model photography. Mari Fotostudio Setia Budi still has several obstacles in the service system for consumers related to the lack of service because many customers come, causing less than optimal service to customers. The purpose of this research is to design a service information system that can overcome existing problems to build a service information system using the priority queue method at Mari Photo Studio and improve the performance of photo services for customers. And also use the system development method with the prototype method in making the application design. The system built with the priority queue method that has been developed can make it easy for customers to order services at Mari Photo Studio Setia Budi.

Abstract

Three- star party outfit reimbursement is one of the party outfit reimbursement places located in the Ngaliyan area, West Semarang. The party outfit reimbursement offers a variety of outfit, similar as tables, chairpersons, canopies, and much further. Not only party outfit, but there are also marriage packages offered. Those still use the homemade system via WhatsApp contact or coming directly to the proprietor's house. Thus it'll impact The period during which the consumer receives schedules, pricing information, and facilities provided by the owner. To solve these problems we must evolve a web-based service system party outfit reimbursement, which aims to help bridge the proprietor if there are any incoming orders to avoid lapping with the schedule and get data snappily. The system erected uses Bootstrap, the CodeIgniter frame, and a MySQL database as data storehouse for the rental reports. And they're using the Waterfall model in making the design inflow and using black box testing. Creating a web- grounded service system for three- star party outfit reimbursement is anticipated to maximize presto and accurate service in propagating provide a wide range of easy-to-understand information for consumers order party outfit.

Abstract

The implementation of information release in medical summary requests at Arcamanik Hospital Bandung currently does not implement an electronic-based medical record management system so that the handling of information requests becomes inefficient, and increases the risk of security and privacy of patient data. Therefore, this study aims to implement electronic-based medical record governance in the release of medical record information using the agile method. The agile method is used as an option to solve problems in improving the medical record management system, this method provides flexibility and adaptability in system design, so that it can adjust to user requests. Agile stages include system requirements analysis, design, coding and black box testing. Data was collected through field studies and literature studies related to the implementation of electronic medical record governance. As a result, applying the agile method in this study can help and be an effective solution to improve the quality of medical record management, optimize the handling of information requests, increase the accuracy and security of information, and increase user satisfaction, so that the implementation of electronic-based medical record governance with the agile method can be used as an alternative for health agencies in managing medical records.

Abstract

Perpustakaan yang berfungsi sebagai pusat sumber informasi, menjadi pondasi kemajuan institusi, terutama di bidang pendidikan. Sebagian besar perpustakaan yang ada di perguruan tinggi, sekolah, dan tempat umum masih menggunakan buku pengunjung manual untuk akses masuk dan keluar perpustakaan. Hal ini dianggap kurang efektif karena tidak menjamin keamanan data pengunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun suatu sistem identifikasi menggunakan QR Code dengan mengimplementasikan fungsi dari modul kamera ESP32-CAM sebagai teknologi pemindaiannya, serta diintegrasikan dengan database menggunakan bahasa pemrograman berupa HTML dan PHP. Library quirc.h diimplementasikan untuk melakukan proses decoding pada QR Code, sehingga ESP32-CAM dapat difungsikan sebagai pemindainya. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pemindaian gambar QR Code ke modul ESP32-CAM, lalu sistem akan mendeteksi serta memproses gambar tersebut, jika gambar yang dipindai dinyatakan valid maka data pengunjung akan masuk ke database. Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 90% dengan rata-rata waktu scan sebesar 8.1 detik. Berdasarkan hasil uji yang didapatkan, sistem ini layak untuk diimplementasikan pada sistem identifikasi pengunjung perpustakaan.

Abstract

PT. Florindo Makmur is a company that processes cassava into tapioca flour into finished products. This company still has a number of problems that occur due to document processing that goes from one party to another. Document approval processes, for example purchase requisitions, are slow and long, this is because the employee is on leave or out of town, thus causing the required signature to take a long time and while the employee is at the workplace. Referring to these various problems, researchers identify problem solving whose goal is to improve the company's business processes. This company developed a supply chain management information system using steps including: analyzing the business stages that run there, analyzing problems that arise in the procurement stage and thinking about what effects and limitations arise when implementing SCM. SCM is the process of supply chain management, starting from the source of raw materials, through production, until the final product reaches the hands of the customer. One of the objectives of implementing SCM in corporate is to build good cooperation with suppliers. One possibility is the implementation of SCM. With this implementation, the process of purchasing raw materials becomes easier and good corporate relations can be established. In addition, internal corporate aspects such as production must also be considered. Delivery and services offered to consumers must be considered so that they feel comfortable. In establishing this system, researchers used MYSQL for the database, programming languages via PHP and HTML, and the waterfall method as planning and problem formulation.

Abstract

The State Ministry/Institutions receiving the grant is required to administer the grant management to the Ministry of Finance as the State General Treasurer. Central government grant management administration is carried out through several stages, from the registration process to the accountability process. Grant registration stages are carried out manually by sending registration application documents to the Ministry of Finance via expedition services. In addition, each administrative stage of grant management uses several different applications managed by each authorized echelon I unit in the Ministry of Finance. This causes the administrative process of grant management to take a long time, is inefficient, and affects the accountability of financial reports due to differences in data/information generated by each application. To overcome this, digitization of the grant registration business process is needed, and integration of grant data/information from several applications used. The application development method uses the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Oracle database. The framework used is .NET (dotnet) Core as the back end (C# language), and Angular as the front end (typescript language). The system development design using the intended method can produce an application that can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the grant registration process, and integrate data/information from several applications in order to realize good governance.
