Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of circuit training on agility and the vital capacity of the lungs. This study was a quasi experiment study with nonrandomized pretest posttes control groups design. The subject of this study were 50 male participants of extracurricular football at SMP Negeri 4 Negara in academic year 2012/2013. Agility was measured by using dogging run, while the vital capacity of the lungs was measured by using spirometer and the data was analyzed by independent t-test with significance of (α) 0,05 by using SPPSS 16.0. The result of analysis data by using independent t-test showed that circuit training affected the improvement of agility and the vital capacity of the lungs with significance value for agility was 0.000 and 0.000 for the vital capacity of the lungs. From the result of analysis data could be concluded that circuit training affected the improvement of agility and the vital capacity of the lungs. It is suggested for the coach, teacher and athlete to use circuit training as one alternative in improving agility and the vital capacity of the lungs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan loncat rintang terhadap daya ledak otot tungki dan kelincahan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan the non randomized conrol group pretest posttest design. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa putra peserta extrakurikuler bola voli SMP Negeri 2 Gianyar tahun ajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 30 orang, dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik ordinal pairing, yaitu kelompok perlakuan berjumlah 15 orang dan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 15 orang. Untuk variabel daya ledak otot tungkai diukur dengan menggunakan tes vertical jump sedangkan variabel kelincahan diukur dengan tes Illinois agilty, selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan uji-t independent pada taraf signifikansi 95%, α= 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16,0. Hasil analisis daya ledak otot tungkai didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < taraf signifikansi 0,05, sehingga hipotesis loncat rintang berpengaruh terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai dapat diterima. Untuk hasil analisis kelincahan didapat nilai signifikansi 0,008 < taraf signifikansi 0,05, sehingga hipotesis loncat rintang berpengaruh terhadap kelincahan dapat diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa loncat rintang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai dan kelincahan pada siswa putra peserta ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMP Negeri 2 Gianyar Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of hurdles jump exercise to the leg muscle explosive power and agility, this type of research is quasi experiment with the non randomized control group pretest posttest design. The subject of this study is the male students of volley ball extracurricular at SMP Negeri 2 Gianyar year 2016/2017, as many as 30 students which is divided into two groups using ordinal pairing technique, which is 15 Students as treatment group and another 15 Students as control group. As the variable of the leg muscle explosive power is measured by vertical jump test while agility variable is measured by Illinois agility test, then the data is analyzed by independent test-t at the level of significant α = 0.05 using SPSS16.0 Application. The analysis result of the leg muscle explosive power got significant value 0.000 < significant level 0.05, so the hurdles jump hypothesis has an effect to the leg muscle explosive power is acceptable. For the result of agility got significant value 0.008 < significant level 0.05, so hurdles jump hypothesis has an effect to agility is acceptable. Thus it can be concluded that hurdles jump has an effect of an increase on leg muscle explosive power and agility to the male students of volley ball extracurricular at SMP Negeri 2 Gianyar year 2016/2017 keyword : Key words: Hurdles jump, Leg muscle explosive power, Agility.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of jump service training with the prefix and without the prefik of the leg muscle explosive power. This research type is a quasi-experimental research design with nonrandomized control goup the pre-test post-test design. The subjects were men's students volleyball extracurricular participants in SMA Negeri 1 Selemadeg Tabanan school year 2012/2013 as many as 30 people. Explosive leg muscle power is measured by using a vertical jump test. Data were analyzed by Anava with SPSS 16.0 the results variable leg muscle explosive power to jump service training group with and without the prefix with a significance of 0.000, significance is smaller than α (Sig <0.05), so the research hypothesis " jump service training with and without prefix effect on the increase in leg muscle explosive power "acceptable. And was followed by a further LSD test for comparison, the results of group jump service training with the prefix (6.80) is better than jump service training without the prefik (2.80) to increase leg muscle explosive power. From these results it can be concluded that: (1) jump service with and without the prefix affect the increase in leg muscle explosive power, (2) there is a difference between the effect of jump service training with the prefix and jump service without the prefik to the explosive power of the leg muscles, which jump service training the prefix is ​​better than jump service training without the prefix to increase leg muscle explosive power.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan modifikasi zig zag run terhadap kelincahan dan kecepatan pada siswa putra peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak bola. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa putra peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak bola SMA PGRI 1 Amlapura dengan jumlah 34 orang. Subjek ini dibagi menjadi dua kelompok dengan teknik ordinal pairing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian the modification non-randomized control group pre-test post-test design. Kecepatan diukur dengan tes sprint 60 meter dan kelincahan diukur dengan tes Agility T-test, selanjutnya data dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji-t independent pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16,0. Hasil deskripsi data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata (mean) untuk masing-masing variabel. Dari hasil analisis uji-t pada group satistic variabel kecepatan terjadi perbedaan rata-rata antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol yaitu 0,4776 dan 0,1682, sedangkan untuk variabel kelincahan terjadi peningkatan rata-rata antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol yaitu 0,6700 dan0,1876. Peningkatan pada kelompok perlakuan diakibatkan oleh pemberian pelatihan modifikasi zig zag run. Sedangkan peningkatan pada kelompok kontrol lebih diakibatkan oleh adanya aktivitas olahraga konvensional yang dilakukan selama pelatihan berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan modifikasi zig zag run berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kecepatan dengan taraf signifikansi 0,003 pada siswa putra peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak bola SMA PGRI 1 Amlapura. pelatihan modifikasi zig zag run berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kelincahan dengan taraf signifkansi 0,000 pada siswa putra peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak bola SMA PGRI 1 Amlapura. Disarankan bagi pelakuan olahraga untuk menggunakan pelatihan ini sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam meningkatkan kecepatan dan kelincahan. This research aimed at reveal the effect of modified zig zag run training on agility and velocity of male students as member of football extracurricular. The subject of this research was male students who joined football extracurricular in SMA PGRI 1 Amlapura with total 34 students. These subjects were divided into two groups by using ordinal pairing technique. It is a quasi-experiment research with the modification non-randomized control group pre-test post-test design. The velocity was tested by using 60 meters sprint test and the agility was tested by using agility t-test, then the data were analyzed by using independent T-test with significant level α = 0.05 with SPSS 16.0. The data description showed that there was an improvement for each variable. From T-test analysis on velocity variable it was found that there were significant differences of the mean between experiment group and control group, which were 0.4776 and 0.1682, respectively. Moreover, there was mean improvement between experiment group and control group, which were 0.6700 and 0.1876, respectively. The improvement of experiment group was caused by the implementation of modified zig zag run training. The improvement of control group was caused by conventional sport activities along the training. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that modified zig zag run training influenced the improvement of velocity with significant level of 0.003 on male students who joined football extracurricular in SMA PGRI 1 Amlapura. Modified zig zag run training influenced the improvement of agility with significant level of 0.003 on male students who joined football extracurricular in SMA PGRI 1 Amlapura. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh pelatihan side hop sprint dan knee tuck jump terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan the non-randomized control group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa peserta ektrakurikuler bola voli SMA Negeri 1 Payangan tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 30 orang. Data yang di dapat dianalisis dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0 yaitu uji F (one way anova) pada taraf signifikansi (α) = 0,05. Hasil analisis data menunjukan adanya perubahan nilai rata-rata pada variabel daya ledak otot tungkai. Pada kelompok perlakuan side hope sprint sebesar 60,20, pada kelompok perlakuan knee tuck jump sebesar 55,70. Hasil uji one way anova variabel daya ledak otot tungkai antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol didapat Fhitung sebesar 11,983 dan signifikasi 0,000. Hasil uji one way anova yang didapatkan perbedaan pada kedua kelompok pelatihan tersebut terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa; (1) pelatihan side hope sprint berpengaruh terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai. (2) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pelatihan side hope sprint dan knee tuck jump terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai. (3) pelatihan side hope sprint lebih baik dari pada knee tuck jump terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai.Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, daya ledak otot tungkai. This study aimed to know the effect the hope side double leg bound to the of training explosive power of the leg muscles. This type of research is the design of the experiment with a non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects participants of extracurricular student volleyball SMA Negeri 1 Payangan academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 30 people. The data analyzed with SPSS 16.0 is the F test (one way ANOVA) at significance level (α) = 0.05. The results of data analysis showed a change in the average value of the variable leg muscle explosive power. In the treatment group side hope sprint of 60.20, in the treatment group was 55.70 knee tuck jump. The results of one way ANOVA test explosive leg muscle power variables between the treatment and control groups obtained F value of 11.983 and significance of 0.000. One way ANOVA test results obtained difference in the two groups of the explosive power training leg muscles. From the analysis of data and discussion is concluded that: (1) training of side hope and a double leg bound effects leg muscle explosive power. (2) there is a difference between the side hope effect of training and a double leg bound to the explosive power of the leg muscles. (3) the side hope sprint training effect better than knee tuck jump to explosive power of the leg muscles.keyword : training, explosive power of the leg muscles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan single leg speed hop dan double leg speed hop terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen sungguhan dengan rancangan the randomized pretest posttest control groups design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa putri SMP N 3 Mengwi sebanyak 45 orang ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Daya ledak otot tungkai diukur dengan vertical jump test dan data dianalisis dengan uji t independent, uji anava satu jalur dan dilanjutkan dengan uji least significant difference (LSD) pada taraf signifikansi (α) 0,05 dengan bantuan komputer program SPSS 16,0. Berdasarkan uji t independent pada pelatihan single leg speed hop diperoleh nilai sebesar 4,987 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 sedangkan pada pelatihan double leg speed hop diperoleh nilai sebesar 2,509 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,018. Berdasarkan uji anava satu jalur diperoleh nilai sebesar 11,695 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 dan uji least significant difference (LSD) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara kedua pelatihan dan pelatihan single leg speed hop mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih baik dari pelatihan double leg speed hop dengan mean difference sebesar 4,667. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan single leg speed hop dan double leg speed hop berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai pada siswa putri SMP N 3 Mengwi tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 dan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara kedua pelatihan serta pelatihan single leg speed hop mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih baik dari pelatihan double leg speed hop. This research was a true experiment by the randomized pretest posttest control groups design. The sample was students of SMP N 3 Mengwi daughter as many as 45 people were determined by simple random sampling. Power of leg muscle was measured by vertical jump test and data were analyzed by independent t-test, one way anova and least significant difference (LSD) with significance level (α) 0,05 using computer program SPSS 16.0. Based on independent t-test on single leg speed hop training obtained 4.987 with a significance value of 0.000, while the double-leg speed hop training obtained 2.509 with a significance value of 0.018. Based on one way anova of the obtained value of F 11.695 with a significance value of 0.000 and the least significant difference test (LSD) showed there was a different effect between the two types of training and single leg speed hop training has better effect than double leg speed hop training with mean difference of 4.667. From the results, it could be concluded that single leg speed hop and double leg speed hop training were effective to improve power of leg muscle on the students of SMP N 3 Mengwi daughter of the school year 2013/2014 and there was a different effect between the two types of training and single leg speed hop training have a better effect than double leg speed hops training.keyword : single leg speed hop training, double leg speed hop training, power of leg muscle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan pullover pass dan power drop terhadap kekuatan otot lengan. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan the non-randomized control group pretest posttest design, dengan subjek sebanyak 45 orang. Kekuatan otot lengan diukur dengan tes push up 60 detik, selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0. Hasil analisis data pada kelompok perlakuan pullover pass terjadi peningkatan sebesar 11,4, pada kelompok perlakuan power drop terjadi peningkatan sebesar 3,87, pada kelompok kontrol terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0,07. Hasil uji ANOVA variabel kekuatan otot lengan antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol diperoleh Fhitung 16,840. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) pelatihan pullover pass berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot lengan pada siswa putra kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. (2) pelatihan power drop berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot lengan pada siswa putra kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. (3) pelatihan pullover pass dan power drop memiliki perbedaan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot lengan pada siswa putra kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Pelatihan pullover pass berpengaruh lebih baik terhadap penigkatan kekuatan otot lengan pada siswa putra kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, kekuatan , otot lengan The study aimed in determining the effect of pullover pass and power drop training on male students arm muscle power. The study was an experiment with the design of a non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design; the subject was 45male students. Arm muscle power was measured by the push up test in 60 seconds, and then the data were analyzed by SPSS 16.0. The results of the data analysis in the pullover pass treatment group increase by 11,4, in the power drop treatment group increase by 3,87, in the control group increase by 0.07. ANOVA test result shows that variable of arm muscle power between the treatment and control groups obtained F arithmetic 16,840. From the results of the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) pullover pass training has an effect on the enhancement male students arm muscle strength in grade VIII at SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada in academic year 2013/2014. (2) power drop training has an effect on the enhancement male students arm muscle strength in grade VIII at SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada in academic year 2013/2014. (3) pullover pass and power drop training have different effect on the enhancement male students arm muscle strength in grade VIII at SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada in academic year 2013/2014. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan side hop dan box jump terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian the nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 39 orang yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok dengan teknik ordinal pairing berdasarkan hasil pre-test. Daya ledak otot diukur dengan test Jump Md. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan hasil T-Independent test dan Uji-F One Way Anova terhadap daya ledak otot diperoleh nilai Thitung sebesar 2.735 dengan signifikansi hitung 0.012 α < 0,05 maka terdapat peningkatan pengaruh dari masing-masing kelompok dan Fhitung sebesar 20.656 dengan nilai signifikansi hitung 0,000 α < 0,05, maka terdapat perbedaan pengaruh dari masing-masing kelompok. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji Least Significant Difference untuk mengetahui pelatihan mana yang lebih baik pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan side hop dan pelatihan box jump berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot dimana pelatihan side hop lebih baik pengaruhnya untuk peningkatan daya ledak otot. Saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah agar penelitian ini bisa digunakan sebagai acuan dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan ataupun penelitian selanjutnya.Kata Kunci : Pelatihan side hop, pelatihan box jump, daya ledak otot tungkai. This research aimed to know the effect of side hop training and box jump training to increase muscle explosive power. The muscle explosive power was measurred by test jump md. Based on the result of analysis using T-independent and one way anova tests toward muscle explosive power, found Thitung 2.735 with significance arithmetic 0.012 a < 0,05, and as a result found there was rising effect of each group and Fhitung 20.656 with significance arithmetic ,000 a < 0,05, and then, found the different effect of each group. Least significant difference test was did, in order to know which training was had better effect for increasing the muscle explosive power. As conclusing, the side hop and box jump training was influential to the increasing of muscle explosive power, which side hop training was better for increasing the muscle explosive power. Hopefully this research can be used as a reference for the lecturers who teach in sport, especially that related with this study and also as reference for the future researchkeyword : Side Hop training, Box Jump training and muscle explosive power

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan overhead clear drill terhadap kekuatan otot dan daya ledak otot lengan. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah the non-randomized control group pretest posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis SMP Negeri 1 Kuta Utara yang berjumlah 30 orang. Untuk variabel daya ledak otot lengan dengan menggunakan tes medicine ball dan variabel kekuatan otot dengan tes push-up , selanjutnya dianalisis dengan uji t-independent pada taraf signifikasi α = 0,05 dengan bantuan SPSS 16,0.Hasil analisis kekuatan otot didapatkan nilai thitung = 53.098 dengan signifikansi 0.000 lebih kecl taraf signifikansi 0.05, sehingga hipotesis overhead clear drillberpengaruh terhadap kekuatan otot dapat diterima. Untuk hasil analisis daya ledak otot lengan didapat nilai thitung 34.839dengan signifikansi 0.000 lebih kecl taraf signifikansi 0.05, sehingga hipotesis overhead clear drill berpengaruh terhadap daya ledak otot lengan diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa overhad clear drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot dan daya ledak otot lengan pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis SMP Negeri 1 Kuta Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.Dilakukan uji lanjut atau uji pembanding least significant difference (LSD) untuk mengetahui pelatihan mana yang lebih baik pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan kecepatan lari pada taraf signifikansi (α) 0,05 yang dilakukan dengan cara membedakan nilai terkecil pada mean difference. Hasil uji least significant difference (LSD) kekuatan, pelatihan Overhead Clear Drilmempunyai pengaruh yang lebih baik terhadap peningkatan kekuatanpush-up daripada pelatihan daya ledak otot lengan dengan hasil mean difference. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Pelatihan overhead clear drillberpengaruhterhadap kekuatan, (2) Pelatihan daya ledak otot lengan berpengaruh terhadap kekuatan, (3) Adanya perbedaan pengaruh dari pelatihan overhead clear drill dan daya ledak otot lengan terhadap kekuatan, (4) Pelatihan overhead clear drill lebih baik dari pada pelatihan daya ledak otot lengan terhadap kekuatan.Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, Overhead Clear drill, Daya Ledak Otot Lengan, Kekuatan This experimental study aims to determine the effect of the training drill to clear overhead muscle strength and explosive power arm muscles. The study design used is the non-randomized control group pretest posttest design. Subjects in this study were students in extracurricular participants badminton SMP Negeri 1 North Kuta totaling 30 people. For variable explosive power arm muscles by using a medicine ball and a variable test muscle strength with push-up test, then analyzed by independent t-test at significance level α = 0.05 with SPSS 16,0.Hasil muscle strength analysis obtained tcount = 53 098 by 0000 a smaller significance level of significance of 0.05, so the hypothesis overhead drill clear effect on muscle strength can be accepted. For the analysis of explosive power arm muscles obtained tcount 34 839 by 0000 a smaller significance level of significance of 0.05, so the hypothesis overhead drill clear effect on muscle explosive power arm received. It can be concluded that the drill overhad clear effect on the increase in muscle strength and explosive power arm muscles in badminton extracurricular student SMP Negeri 1 North Kuta in the academic year 2016/2017. Further test or benchmark test least significant difference (LSD) to determine which one is better training effect to the increased speed to run at a significance level (α) of 0.05 is done by distinguishing the smallest value in the mean difference. The test results least significant difference (LSD) strength, training Overhead Clear Drill has a better influence to increase the strength of push-ups of the explosive power training arm muscles with the results mean difference. Based on this, we can conclude that (1) Training overhead clear drill effect on strength, (2) Training of explosive power arm muscles affect the strength, (3) The difference in the effect of the training overhead clear drill and explosive power arm muscles to strength, ( 4) training clear overhead drill better than the explosive power training arm muscles to strength.keyword : Training, Overhead Clear drill, Burst Power Arm Muscle, Strength

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan single leg speed hop dan double leg speed hop terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) rancangan the non-randomized pretest-posttest modified design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa putra peserta ekstrakurikuler atletik (lompat jauh) SMP N 4 Abiansemal sebanyak 30 orang ditentukan dengan teknik ordinal pairing. Daya ledak otot tungkai diukur dengan vertical jump test dan data dianalisis dengan uji t independent, uji anava satu jalur dan dilanjutkan dengan uji least significant difference (LSD) pada taraf signifikansi (α) 0.05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.00. Berdasarkan uji t independent pada pelatihan single leg speed hop diperoleh nilai sebesar 8.527 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 sedangkan pada pelatihan double leg speed hop diperoleh nilai sebesar 9.285 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000. Berdasarkan uji anava satu jalur diperoleh nilai sebesar 3.008 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.029 dan uji least significant difference (LSD) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara kedua pelatihan dan pelatihan double leg speed hop mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih baik dari pelatihan single leg speed hop dengan mean difference sebesar 22.733. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan single leg speed hop dan double leg speed hop berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai pada siswa putra peserta ekstrakurikuler atletik (lompat jauh) SMP N 4 Abiansemal tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara kedua pelatihan serta pelatihan double leg speed hop mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih baik dari pelatihan single leg speed hop.Kata Kunci : single leg speed hop, double leg speed hop, daya ledak otot tungkai. This research wash aimed at determine the effect of speed single leg speed hop and double leg speed hop training in improving power of leg muscle. This research was a quasi experimental by the non-randomized pretest-posttest modified design. The sample was male students whose follow atletic extracuricullar of SMP N 4 Abiansemal as many as 30 people were determined by ordinal pairing. Power of leg muscle was measured by vertical jump test and data were analyzed by independent t-test, one way anova and least significant difference (LSD) with significance level (α) 0,05 using computer program SPSS 16.0. Based on independent t-test on single leg speed hop training obtained 8.527 with a significance value of 0.000, while the double-leg speed hop training obtained 9.285 with a significance value of 0.000 Based on one way anova of the obtained value of F 3.008 with a significance value of 0.029 and the least significant difference test (LSD) showed there was a different effect between the two types of training and double leg speed hop training has better effect than single leg speed hop training with mean difference of 22.733. From the results, it could be concluded that single leg speed hop and double leg speed hop training were effective to improve power of leg muscle of students of SMP N 4 Abiansemal in academic year 2017/2018 and there was a different effect between the two types of training and double leg speed hop training have a better effect than sinble leg speed hops training.keyword : single leg speed hop, double leg speed hop, power of leg muscle
