Abstract

Background: The success of ANC services can be assessed using the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) index. There are two main causes of high mortality rates, one of which is a lack of understanding of the causes and prevention of important complications in pregnancy. This problem in pregnant women can be prevented if mothers and families know about the danger signs of pregnancy and the responses given to overcome them. Steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of death in pregnant women and fetuses are by making regular ANC visits. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge about danger signs of pregnancy and husband's support with compliance with antenatal care (ANC) visits among pregnant women in the third trimester at the Ananda Clinic, Lebak Regency in 2023. Methodology: Using correlation analytical methods with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 104 third trimester pregnant women. The sample used was 83 third trimester pregnant women using a purposive sampling technique that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. independent variable knowledge and husband's support, dependent variable Compliance with Antenatal Care (ANC) visits, using a questionnaire, data processing using the chi square test with the help of the SPSS computer program. Research result: There is a significant relationship between knowledge about danger signs of pregnancy p-value 0.003 and husband's support p-value 0.000 with compliance with Antenatal Care (ANC) visits for pregnant women in the third trimester at the Ananda Clinic, Lebak Regency in 2023. Conclusions and Suggestions: It is hoped that the results of this research will increase the knowledge of mothers and families, as well as increase the knowledge and participation of families, especially husbands, to provide support to mothers during pregnancy.

The majority of deaths occur in infants. Worldwide, it is estimated that more than 2 million toddlers die from pneumonia every year, which means one toddler dies every 20 seconds. Objective: to study the analysis of risk factors for the incidence of pneumonia in children under five aged 12-59 months in the Kalibaru Sub- Puskesmas Area, North Jakarta. Method: cross-sectional population is all children who experienced pneumonia at the Kalibaru Sub-Public Health Center, North Jakarta. The population in this study was 112 people. The sample in this study was 90 people, with a sampling technique using simple random sampling, analysis using univariate and bivariate. Results: From the results of statistical tests on the incidence of pneumonia, the majority of respondents, 53 (58.9%) of respondents experienced pneumonia and almost 37 (41.1%) of respondents did not experience pneumonia. There is a relationship (age of toddler p-value 0.028 OR value =3.560, gender p-value 0.015 OR value =3.277, immunization status p-value 0.028 OR value =3.560, nutritional status p-value 0.016<α =0.05 OR value = 3,491 with the incidence of pneumonia. There is no relationship (education, maternal occupation, access to health services, and area of residence) with the incidence of pneumonia at the Kalibaru Cilincing sub-district health center, North Jakarta. Conclusion: It is hoped that health workers can provide additional information regarding the factors that cause pneumonia so that they can provide preventative solutions when providing education, especially at POLI MTBS and MTBM.

The independent variables in this study are knowledge and attitude, while the dependent variable is fire emergency response preparedness. The sample in this study was 322 residents of Sekaran Village with proportional random sampling technique for each neighbourhood. The research instrument used questionnaires for the independent and dependent variables. The results showed that there was a correlation between knowledge and fire emergency response preparedness (CI 95%: 0.077- 0.296). OR 0.151, and there is a correlation between attitude and fire emergency response preparedness (CI 95%: 0.312 - 0.761), OR 0.488. Abstract

The proportion of MDR TB in Jayapura Regency in 2022 is 2.32% and the figure is higher than MDR TB in Papua Province, which is 151 cases. Treatment of MDR TB is more complex than drug-sensitive TB The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) in patients with Pulmonary TB in the Health Office of Jayapura District, Papua Province. The type of case control study on the population of tuberculosis patients in the Jayapura Regency Health Office was 1,162 patients and samples were 27 cases and 54 controls. Data were obtained using medical record data and analyzed using chi square and logistic binary regression.  The results showed that factors that were significantly associated with the incidence of MDR TB in patients with Pulmonary TB were side effects (p-value 0.000; OR = 9.1; CI95% (3.07 – 26.93), medication adherence (p-value 0.000; OR = 136; CI95% (25.45-724.06), duration of treatment (p-value 0.000; OR = 7.273; CI95% (2,546-20,773), treatment history in patients with Pulmonary TB in the Department (p-value 0.000; OR = 4.2; CI95% (8.801-21.991) and history of comorbidities (p-value 0.000; OR = 19.6; CI95% (5.79-66.34). Adherence to medication was the dominant factor in the incidence of MDR TB (p-value 0.000; OR = 36; CI95% (25,545 – 724,068). Conclusion: Adherence to taking medication is the dominant risk factor for MDR so it is recommended that in addition to PMO from Puskesmas need assistance from family. Studies have shown that TB patients who adhere to treatment are more likely to recover quickly and are no longer susceptible to other diseases than patients who do not adhere to treatment.
