Abstract

The Ibn Khaldun University Women's Dormitory Building, Bogor (ASPIKA) is a building that functions as a temporary residence for female students. The ASPIKA Building was established 13 years ago, this has resulted in several building components and structures experiencing some damage which resulted in the function of the ASPIKA Building decreasing, so an assessment of the reliability level of the building is needed. Aspects used in the assessment of the reliability of the ASPIKA Building based on the proper function of the building include aspects of architecture, structure, utility and fire protection, accessibility, and building layout taking into account the applicable SNI standards. The method used is descriptive quantitative as well as survey data of the existing building by the Minister of Public Works No. 2/PRT/M/2006 concerning Guidelines for Building Technical Requirements. The results showed that the percentage value of the building on the architectural component aspect was 95.50%, indicating the building is in reliable condition. The percentage value on the structural component aspect of the building is 96.56%, indicating that the building is still reliable. The percentage of utility and fire protection components has a value of 65% indicating that the component aspects of the building are not reliable. Unreliable factors in utility and fire protection components are influenced by an inadequate fire prevention system so more attention must be paid to these aspects. Components in the accessibility aspect get a percentage of 65%, meaning that they are less reliable, where this value is influenced by the limited access of people with disabilities to reach areas on each floor of the building. The building layout and the environment get a 100% percentage which identifies the building layout as reliable based on the documents on the ASPIKA Building. The total value of the reliability level of ASPIKA Buildings obtained is 79.41% categorized as "Less Reliable" (reliable category is > 95%), this is influenced by the fire protection component by 65% and the accessibility component by 65%. The solution that can be done by the university is to repair and procure facilities on the fire protection system and provide accessibility facilities that can make it easier for people with disabilities.

Abstract

This study intends to find out the capacity of parking needs managed by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) with the location of the Cilebut station research, this study used the SRP method of characteristics (Volume, Accumulation, Duration, Turnover, Index), in this study was the management of paid parking performance. Data collection was carried out using the survey method with a time of 12 hours and running for sixteen days, with the aspects taken being data on the hours of entry and exit of the vehicle to find out the characteristics of the parking. The results of this study show that the parking performance cannot accommodate motorcycle vehicles the area with an area of 486m2 has a parking capacity of 120 SRP, while the results of the study getting an index figure of more than 100% indicates too high parking performance and so turn over parking by 181% at peak hours. The result of the SRP needs that must be provided by the management with the results of the study is 159 slots to accommodate motorcycle vehicles, with an SRP value of 159 slots will produce good parking performance, namely parking according to the slots that have been provided so that motorcycle vehicle users feel safe when parking the vehicle.

Abstract

An area/village rearranging model is a series of initiatives to revitalize the village by enhancing strategic and substantial values from regions that still have promise. Kendran Village is one of the villages in Tegelalang District, Gianyar Regency, that has been inhabited by people since the 4th century BC. This settlement was frequently battled for by many kingdoms in Bali throughout the royal period. The natural potential, broadness of rice fields, and presence of two rivers around the settlement give it a distinct topography. Kendran Village is frequently visited by visitors due to the presence of relatively original village structures as well as many interesting relics from the past. Taking into consideration the development and influence of not properly planned tourism development around the Kendran Village area, which has a negative impact on the environment and local cultural heritage, it is deemed necessary to carry out an arrangement as a guiding model for the revitalization of the Kendran Village area. The descriptive qualitative research approach was utilized, depending on theoretical discussion and based on the collection of physical observational data, non-physical interview findings, and references to existing literature. The outcomes, in the form of a structural model for a tourist town, might be oriented at beneficial changes and advancements for the local community's socio-cultural, environmental, and economic situations.

Abstract

The parameters Cp and Ct depend on the characteristics and slope of the watershed. Watershed characteristics include types of land use that are always dynamic over time. The slope of the watershed affects the smoothness and velocity of runoff flow. The development of an area will cause changes in land use which tend to become more impermeable, of course also affecting the smoothness and speed of runoff flow. This of course results in changes in Cp and Ct in a watershed. Changes in land use in the Napel watershed within 7 years starting from 2015 to 2021 have decreased in areas of jungle forest and other water catchment areas. This research was conducted to determine the influence of land use change on peak discharge and Cp and Ct parameters. The method used is the Snyder Synthetic Unit Hydrograph, which has been tested for suitability against the Measured Unit Hydrograph with validation results included in the very strong correlation category. The Ct value used in 2015 was 1.65 and in 2021 it was 0.78 while the Cp value used in 2015 was 1.4 and in 2021 it was 1.1. The results of the analysis using the Snyder method produced a discharge of 417.882 m3/s in 2015 and 619.52 m3/s in 2021. The resulting discharge shows a significant increase.

Abstract

Waste management is a cross-cutting issue that is closely related to various global challenges. At the local government level, waste management services carried out demonstrate the sustainability of a city so that local governments are responsible for finding affordable waste management solutions with the least impact on the environment. North Lombok Regency has a waste management problem that results in the realization of its handling not reaching the target. To overcome the waste management problem, the local government initiated a priority development program "Zero Waste North Lombok" which is expected to address the existing problems. In the process, the implementation of the program has not run significantly. To support the achievement of the program, a study of the barriers to zero waste was conducted using the fuzzy DEMATEL method. This method is able to facilitate the identification of causal relationships between criteria assessed in complex systems so as to provide information on various perceptions for stakeholders. The 12 barriers identified were divided into two groups: influential barriers and receptive barriers. The influential barriers consist of lack of policies and regulations on waste, lack of cooperation among stakeholders, uncertainty about circular economy targets and strategies, and inadequate sanctions and fines. While the influential group of barriers consists of the barriers of lack of environmental awareness, inadequate recycling techniques, inadequate methods for sorting, transporting and recycling waste, lack of financial and economic assistance, lack of advertising and media coverage for waste management, lack of adequate areas for waste collection and sorting, lack of awareness about environmental protection and lack of temporary shelters. This group of influential barriers needs to be considered and addressed by the local government so that the goals of the "Zero Waste North Lombok" program can be achieved.

Abstract

Land use change in general concerns the transformation in allocating land resources from one designation to another. The aims of this study were (1) to identify problems with the conversion of agricultural land, especially paddy fields (2) to analyze its spatial pattern and the influencing factors, and (3) to analyze policies related to the conversion of agricultural land. This study used a qualitative approach, collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted in North Kuta District, Badung Regency. The conclusions from this study are (1) the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use is strongly influenced by the dynamics of very rapid urban growth, both from a demographic, economic, and physical perspective. 2) The spatial pattern of the conversion of paddy fields is influenced by socio-economic factors, including urban population growth, growth and shifts in economic structure, growth of land-using agricultural households, and changes in the area of land tenure. 3) The policy related to controlling the conversion of agricultural land is the consistency of the implementation of the District RDTR as the key to preventing the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land.
