Abstract

The problem of mathematics learning is a hot issue that continues to be a dailyfigure of mathematicians. Mathematics is still a concept or procedure that mustbe understood by the students through the learning done by the teacher in theclassroom. This problem is made into objects in a class rather than a subject inthe class. Therefore it is necessary to update the learning, which the concept isthe student as the subject, that is through the humanistic learning. Thehumanistic lessons of daring whose concepts must be related to the real worldand position the students to be creators in discovering the concept itself. Becausehumanistic learning has to be built a discovery process is part of this learning.Through learning that is able to be active in the learning process and able todevelop the ability to think creatively to be more dynamic. The creative thinkingprocess is important so that students are able to use that ability in everyday life.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) whether the spatial ability of students who use mathematical learning-assisted software Cabri 3D is better than students who use conventional learning (2) How improvement of spatial ability students who study mathematics aided software Cabri 3D (3) How is the response students towards mathematics assisted Cabri 3D software. This experimental study conducted at MTs Sindangsari in the second half for the academic year 2015/2016 with the draft nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs Sindangsari. Sampling was done by using sampling techniques purposipe. From the selected sample, one class into a class experiment, ie classes given mathematics learning assisted software Cabri 3D and one class as the control class, the classes given conventional learning. Measurement of spatial ability tests performed using an instrument shaped spatial abilities test description. This instrument has qualified the validity and reliability of the instrument. The results showed (1) spatial ability of students who use mathematical learning-assisted software Cabri 3D is better than students who use conventional learning, it is based on test results mean difference using the U test which showed z count > z table (2) Improved spatial ability of students to use mathematics learning aided software Cabri 3D is better than students who use conventional learning, it is based on test results mean difference score n-gain using the t’ test that show

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan berpikir kreatifmatematis siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TeamAssisted Individualization (TAI) lebih baik dari pada kemampuan berpikir kreatifmatematis siswa yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvesional. Penelitian inidilaksanakan di kelas VII SMPN 1 Lebakwangi pada semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Teknik pemgambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling. Metodepenelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Hasil tes kemampuan berpikirkreatif matematis siswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata tes awal kelas eksperimen 32,83 dannilai rata-rata tes awal kelas kontrol 32,17. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata tes akhir kelaseksperimen 48,25 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 37,42. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan uji-t untuk menguji hipotesis statistik. Pada uji perbandingan dua ratarata diperoleh nilai thitung = 2,040, nilai ttabel = 1,669, karena 2,040 > 1,669 atau-2,040 < -1,669 maka H1 diterima, artinya kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematissiswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team AssistedIndividualization (TAI) lebih baik dari pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematissiswa yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvesional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh model Pembelajaran MatematikaInteraktif Berbasis Komputer Tipe Drill Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan SpatialSense Siswa SMP dalam Materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Lengkung. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Kadugede yang berjumlah 8 kelas,sedangkan untuk sampel diambil kelas IX C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IXD sebagai kelas kontrol. Data hasil penelitian dijaring melalui instrumen teskemampuan spatial sense , pedoman wawancara, dan angket siswa.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Kemampuan spatial sense siswa SMPyang mendapat pembelajaran matematika interaktif berbasis komputer tipe drill lebihbaik daripada siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional. Peningkatankemampuan spatial sense siswa SMP yang mendapat pembelajaran matematikainteraktif berbasis komputer tipe drill sebesar 0,48 yang menurut kriteria Haketermasuk sedang (2) Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika interaktifberbasis komputer tipe drill positif. Dari hasil perhitungan angket dan wawancaradiperoleh presentase siswa yang mendukung sebesar 81,28 %, sehinggaberdasarkan kriteria Maulana dapat disimpulkan bahwa hampir seluruh siswamemberikan respons positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika interaktif berbasiskomputer tipe drill. (3) Keunggulan pembelajaran matematika interaktif berbasiskomputer tipe drill diantaranya : (a) Belajar komputer dengan menggunakanmultimedia interaktif dapat menumbuhkan minat siswa dalam belajar matematika. (b)Belajar komputer dengan menggunakan multimedia interaktif dapat membantu siswamemahami konsep bangun ruang sisi lengkung. (c) Animasi yang ditampilkan dapatmembantu siswa memvisualisasikan bangun ruang yang dipelajari. Sedangkan untukkelemahannya adalah keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana untuk mendukungpembelajaran komputer dengan menggunakan multimedia interaktif.

Abstract

The most of junior high students who do not understand the relevance of mathematical material make them often forget the material that has been studied. Junior high school students are still struggling in solving problems related to writing daily life problems into the form of mathematical models and difficulty in connecting between objects and concepts in mathematics. The difficulties of students in learning mathematics are elements of mathematical connection ability. It shows the ability of mathematical connections of students of class VII D SMP Negeri 46 Bandung which is still not optimal. Therefore, researchers apply the MMP (Missouri Mathematics Project) learning model to attempt to meet the achievement of students' mathematical connection ability. Achievement of students' mathematical connection ability is seen from the fulfillment of classical learning completeness criteria of 75.00% with KKM of 68 applicable in the class. The research method used is classroom action research method (PTK) which consists of three cycles. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument to measure the achievement of students' mathematical connection ability and attitude scale instrument to know the student's response to the learning of mathematics using MMP learning model. The result of this research is mathematical connection ability of students in every cycle and after all cycle have been reached and pertained good criterion. Achievement in the first cycle is 77.50%; in the second cycle is 82.05%; in the third cycle is 97.77%; and after the whole cycle is 94.44%.

Abstract

Desi Trisusanti (NIM:153223018), Realistic Mathematics Education Based on Bruner’s Theory to Improve Critical Thinking Mathematically geometry of square At Junior High School Students Build Materials (Classroom Action Research at SMPN 2 Cimahi Grades 7B), Department of Mathematics (PMTK), 2017. Capabilities Critical thinking is very important to be possessed by learners. Critical thinking is applied to learners to learn to solve problems systematically, innovatively and designing fundamental solutions. Improvement of critical thinking skills is done through a meaningful learning process for learners. A knowledge will be meaningful for learners if the learning process is implemented in a context or learning using realistic problems. This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of class 7B students on the material geometry of square through Realistic Mathematical Learning Model-Based Mathematical Learning. This research is a classroom action research with research objects 7B grade students of SMPN 2 Cimahi 2nd semester in the academic year 2016/2017 as many as 26 people. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The indicator of success of this research is the percentage of critical thinking ability based on KKM more than 71.5% are in high to very high category, Percentage of critical thinking ability of individual mathematical experience from cycle 1 to cycle 2, percentage of classical learning completion at least 80% Students of realistic mathematics learning model based on Bruner's theory are in good category up to very well. Based on the analysis of research data, cycle 1 percentage critical thinking skills of learners reached 69.95% in middle category and the percentage of classical learning completeness reached 69.23%. While on the second cycle of the percentage of the critical thinking skills of students is reached 75.18% at the high category 5:23% or an increase of cycle 1. Percentage of classical learning completeness in cycle 2 reached 84.62%, an increase of 15:39% of cycle 1. Response Learners toward Learning Mathematical Model Realistic-Based Theory Bruner is on the rise and is in good category. From these results it can be concluded that the Realistic Mathematics Instructional Model-Based Theory of Bruner can improve critical thinking skills on the material flat wake mathematical learners 7B classroom SMPN 2 Cimahi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuanpemecahan masalah matematis antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatanResource-Based Learning dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajarankonvensional.. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen dengan pendekatankuantitatif. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non randomizedpretest-posttest control group design. Desain penelitian ini dipilih karena penelitian inimenggunakan kelompok kontrol, adanya dua perlakuan yang berbeda, danpengambilan sampel yang dilakukan berdasarkan data yang ditawarkan oleh pihaksekolah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan temuan selama penelitian dapatdisimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang belajardengan menggunakan pendekatan Resource-Based Learning lebih baik daripadasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional.

Abstract

This research having target to know ability of understanding concept mathematics student by applying model study of co-operative type NHT with student obtaining conventional study. Method which used in this research that is experiment method by using non-equivalent control group design. This research entangle experiment class and control class of class VII in SMPN 1 Cidahu of school year 2015/2016. This Research use instrument of essay test to know ability of understanding concept mathematics student and also use enquette respon student to know student respon to applied study. Pursuant to result of research that ability of understanding concept mathematics of student using model study of NHT more better than student obtaining conventional study. As for enlargement to ability understanding concept mathematics of student experiment class with mean 0,31 residing in medium category. Besides from result of enquette of respon student equal to 95,12% show positive respon of student to applied study.

Abstract

Pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan bentuk pelatihandan pengalaman siswa untuk mempersiapkan mental dalam memecahkanpermasalahan kehidupan yang akan dihadapinya kelak. Kemampuan pemecahanmasalah pada pembelajaran matematika adalah pengetahuan tingkat tinggi yangmemerlukan suatu keterampilan khusus dalam mencari solusi atas masalah yangdihadapi dengan menggabungkan konsep-konsep dan aturan-aturan dalammatematika yang diperoleh sebelumnya, agar diperoleh jalan untuk mencapai suatutujuan yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatankemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitiankuantitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Cigugur,semester II tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Kelas VII D adalah kelas eksperimen dankelas VII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan modelpembelajaran kooperatif tipe Bamboo Dancing sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakanpembelajaran konvensional (ekspositori). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan angket.Hasil analisis data awal maupun data akhir sampel tersebut berdistribusi normal danhomogen dan juga sampel sebelum perlakuan sampel tidak ada perbedaan secarasignifikan. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan setelah perlakuan dari kedua modelpembelajaran tersebut digunakan uji-t, maka dengan kriteria uji thitung > ttabel maka4,98 > 1,68. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran menggunakan modelpembelajaran kooperatif tipe Bamboo Dancing lebih baik daripada menggunakanpembelajaran konvensional (ekspositori) di SMP Negeri 1 Cigugur.

Abstract

Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning(CTL) Model Based on Ethno Mathematics on Students' Mathematical CreativeThinking Skill, Mathematics Education Study Program STKIP MuhammadiyahKuningan, 2017. Lack of creative thinking ability in learning process causes thedevelopment of the child's mindset becomes shackled and can decrease the creativityof students, whereas the ability to think creatively mathematically students is one ofthe abilities that must be possessed in learning mathematics. From the results it isknown that the mean of the control class score is 76.24 and the experimental class is81.24. Through t test on the value is known that the value of t count = 2.28. While at5% freedom level is known ttabel = 1,998. From both data we know that thitung>ttabel is 2.28> 1.998, then H1 accepted. This means that the average final test resultbetween the experiment class and the control class is different. This means that afterthe treatment of mathematical creative thinking ability of the experimental classstudents is better than the control class. The ability to think creatively mathematicallyexperimental class students are in the high category.
