Abstract

Observations conducted by researchers in one of class VII showed that the ability of students' understanding in the class is still minus. Whereas in KTSP 2013 mentioned that mathematical understanding is one of the basic competencies that must be owned and developed by students in learning mathematics. Based on the problem, the research was conducted by implementing constructivism model of learning in mathematics learning. Constructivism is one of the learning model where the students are actively mentally build their own knowledge based on the cognitive structure they have. This study is a classroom action research (PTK) carried out at SMPN 1 Lebakwangi. To obtain data in this study, the instruments used are the ability of comprehension test, observation sheet and student response questionnaire. Tests are tested with validity, reliability of difficulty levels and distinguishing power. The collected data is analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. Through the test obtained at each end of the cycle obtained the results of cycle I 45.75%, cycle II 65, 71%, and cycle III 85, 71%. From the results of this study also shows that learning mathematics with constructivism learning model can improve students' understanding ability. The best improvement is achieved on the aspect of the ability to transform a form of representation to another and the ability to recognize the various meanings and interpretations of concepts. This is seen from the calculation of the gain index is 0.29 with the medium category. Besides from result of questionnaire of student response showed positive response from student at learning by using constructivism learning model. This is seen from the results of the questionnaire calculation with the majority of students answered the response agreed 46, 38%.

Abstract

The study involved an experimental class and control class is taken from the 9th grade at SMP Negeri 4 Brass. Studies conducted using essay test instruments for evaluating mathematical problem-solving ability and a questionnaire to determine the students' response to realistic mathematics approach. The discovery in this research is the mathematical problem solving ability of students who received study of mathematics by realistic mathematics approach better than students who received conventional learning, improvement of mathematical problem solving ability experimental class in middle category and the students' response to the positive realistic mathematics learning.

Abstract

Dalam rangka upaya meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa khususnya danpeningkatan mutu pendidikan pada umumnya terus dilakukan pemerintah. Dalam halberkenaan dengan pendidik, pendidik dapat menerapkan berbagai macam modelmodel pembelajaran yang tepat dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajarankuantum merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat dipilih agar menjadiefektif, efesien, dan menyenangkan. Pembelajaran kuantum adalah pengubahanbelajar yang meraih dengan segala nuansanya yang berfukus pada hubungandinamis dalam lingkungan. Dengan asas utama bawalah dunia mereka (siswa) kedalam dunia kita (guru) dan antarkan dunia kita (guru) ke dunia mereka (siswa) sertaperancangan pembelajaran yang dinamis dengan kerangka TANDUR. Metodepenelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswakelas X MAN 3 Kota Cirebon dan sampel penelitian dua kelas diambil secara acaakyang homogeny. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) mengetahui apakah pembelajarandengan model pembelajaran kuantum teknik berpikir pasangan berbagi berpengaruhterhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, 2) mengetahui apakah proses pembelajaranyang menggunakan model pembelajaran kuantum teknik berpikir pasangan berbagilebih baik dari pada proses pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan modelpembelajaran kuantum teknik berpikir pasangan berbagi dalam hasil belajarmatematika siswa. Dari hasil penelitian 1) nilai pretes diperoleh rata-rata 29 dan ratarata nilai prostes 75,30 (kelas eksperimen), 2) rata-rata kelompok eksperimen 29,00dan kelompok control 28,12. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kuantum teknikberpikir pasangan berbagi lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvesional.

Abstract

This study used experimental design, and chose a research design in the form of pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study were students Middle School, with the research sample being students of SMP Negeri 1 Kabupaten Kuningan which consists of two classes taken randomly. To obtain data research procedures are needed through three main stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation phase in the class and the data analysis stage. After the data collected, the data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. From the results of data analysis and The discussion concluded that (1) the quality of the ability of mathematical comprehension of junior high school students increases after students take mathematics learning using the SQ4R technique and the copsep map, (2) the problem solving abilities of junior high school students increase after students take mathematics learning using SQ4R techniques and concept maps, (3) there are significant differences in understanding abilities and mathematical problem solving abilities between students in mathematics learning using the SQ4R technique and concept maps with students in mathematical learning in the usual way; the ability of students in mathematics learning uses SQ4R techniques and concept maps are better than students who are deep mathematical learning in the usual way, (4) student attitudes support learning mathematics with SQ4R techniques and concept maps, and (5) teachers provide positive responses to mathematics learning using SQ4R techniques and concept maps

Abstract

Using of Contextual Teaching and Learning Design In The High School Students Upgrade Conection. The background of this study is to improve the students mathematic conection capabilitys by using the learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning. From the pretest result know average score control class mathematic conection is 16,38 and experimental class is 18,375. Meanwhile from the posttest result known average score control class conection is 77,313 and average score experiment class matematic conection is 85,969. From the analysis of pretest and posttest samples can be concluded that the study of mathematics by using model Contextual Teaching and Learning is better than the ability of students mathematical connection by using conventional learning models. The upgrading of the mathematical connection experimental class at the high category addition of the results of student questionnaire responses, it is known that the students showed a positive response to the learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah apakah terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SMP yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan induktif berbantuan program Cabri Geometry dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan induktif tanpa bantuan program Cabri Geometry. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Group Design yaitu desain kelompok pembanding pretes/postes. Dalam penelitian ini diambil dua kelas yang homogen dengan perlakuan berbeda. Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas yang memperoleh pembelajaran geometri dengan pendekatan induktif berbantuan program Cabri Geometry dan kelas kontrol adalah kelas yang memperoleh pembelajaran geometri dengan pendekatan induktif tanpa bantuan program Cabri Geometry. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan temuan selama penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran geometri dengan pendekatan induktif berbantuan program CG dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran geometri dengan pendekatan induktif tanpa bantuan program CG.

Abstract

Laporan penelitian ini menampilkan hasil penggunaan permainan tradisional dalampembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa.Penelitian ini menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol yang diambil dari kelas VIIdi SMP Negeri 3 Kuningan pada semester 2 tahun ajaran 2014-2015. Instrumen yangdigunakan adalah tes essay dan angket respon siswa. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukanbahwa: (a) kelas eksperimen memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematis yg lebih baikdari kelas kontrol, (b) peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelaseksperimen berada di level sedang, (c) siswa menunjukkan respon positif padapembelajaran matematika realistik berbasis permainan tradisional.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektifitas pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pendekatan constextual melalui penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). PTK ini menyajikan temuan dari penelitian mengenai upaya meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi melalui pendekatan Contextual pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini melibatkan kelas tujuh A di SMP Negeri 1 Maleber pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2016-2017. Penelitian menggunakan instrumen tes uraian untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa serta menggunakan angket respon siswa untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa, peneliti menggunakan Hasil Belajar Siswa (HBS) yang didasarkan pada Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM), dimana KKM yang dipakai adalah 74 . Hasil kemampuan koneksi klasikal siswa perlakuan awal berada pada kategori sangat kurang yaitu sekitar 36.36% dan hasil akhir siklus kedua dan ketiga secara berturutturut adalah 72.72% dan 87.87% yaitu akhir siklus dua berada pada kategori cukup dan akhir siklus tiga pada kategori sangat baik, ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan secara signifikan. Begitupun kemampuan koneksi matematika per indikator mengalami peningkatan. Selain itu dari hasil angket respon siswa, diketahui pada awal siklus pertama respon belajar klasikal siswa hanya mencapai 2.48 yaitu berada pada kategori cukup sedangkan akhir siklus ketiga respon klasikal siswa mencapai 3.43 yaitu berada pada kategori sangat baik. Dari data tersebut bisa disimpulkan bahwa siswa merespon dengan baik terhadap penerapan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan contextual.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) Whether the mathematical connection ability of students who get models learning CORE is better than students who get learning method lecture (2) Whether improvement mathematical connection ability of students who get models learning CORE is better than students who get learning method lecture 3) How is the response students towards mathematics with models CORE. This experimental study conducted at SMP 1 Lebakwangi in the second half for the academic year 2015/2016 with the draft pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP 1 Lebakwangi. Sampling was done by using sampling techniques random simple. From the selected sample, one class into a class experiment, ie classes given models learning CORE and one class as the control class, the classes given learning method lecture. Measurement of mathematical connection ability tests performed using an instrument shaped mathematical connection abilities test description. This instrument has qualified the validity and reliability of the instrument. The results showed (1) mathematical connection ability of students who get models learning CORE is better than students who get learning method lecture. It is based on test results mean difference using the t test which showed (2) Improvement mathematical connection ability of students who get learning models CORE is better than students who get learning method lecture. It is based on test results mean difference using the U test which showed z count > z table yaitu z count = 4,66 > z table = 1,96 (3) The application of mathematics models learning CORE received a positive response based on the student questionnaire.

Abstract

using realistic mathematics education Basedon multimedia to increase the students of MTs adaptive reasoning skills. Thebackground of this study is to improve the students Adaptive reasoning skills byusing Realistic mathematics Education Based on multimedia. The result of theinitial test indicates that the average value of control class is 4,45 and the averagevalue of experimental class is 5,1. Meanwhile the result of the final test shows thatthe average value of control class is 9,6 and the average value of experimentalclass is 11,8. Based on the outcome of the initial and final data analysis, it can beconcluded that learning realistic mathematics education based on Multimedia isbetter than konventional learning. Howefer, the increase of adaptive reasoningskills in experimental classes in middle category. In addtion, the results ofquestionnaire responses students showed a positive response to the realisticmathematics education based on multimedia.
