Abstract

Abstract— Recently, in response to the credit crunch and the increased costs of financing, new solutions for supporting the financial management of supply chains, known as supply chain finance (SCF), have been developed. The purpose of this research is to analyze how the dispute raised from the situations faced by people who involved in fintech peer to peer lending can be solved in fairness. The methodology used in this research are statute approach, conceptual approach, and comparison dispute settlement among Australia and Indonesia through law case study. According to the Indonesian Law as it is stated in BW (Civil Code for Indonesia), companies can settle their loan disputes by filing a lawsuit to the district court. This method is less effective because it is time consuming and costly, while it is not worth with the nominal value of the loan which is not that much. This situation leads to a demand of a faster, simpler and low-cost solution that can be accessed online. This method is called as small claim court method. This method is considerably new and basically is a simplified procedure of the existing dispute settlement. A strong note on this method is its weakness when the disputes happen cross-border. This aspect needs to be improved in many ways considering the current method is only applicable when the parties have the same judicial territory. Hopefully, the information technology strongly supports the task of the judiciary in order to enforce law and legal justice through the application of Electronic Court (e-court) which is in line with the principle of simple, fast and low cost of justice. Vice versa, fintech lending dispute resolution requires procedural law that can compensate for the technology that is developing rapidly. The information technology management referred to information management policies, institutional information management institutional arrangements, and electronic system structuring at the Supreme Court.

Abstract

Abstract? Strategic supply-chain planning that combines aspects of business-strategy formulation with aspects of tactical supply-chain planning can make each far more valuable to the planning effort than either would be alone. The purpose of this article is to assess the economic security of the enterprise in terms of the efficiency of the use of supply chain planning, taking into account the possibility of production and sale of manufactured products. In case of falling demand for products, there are free capacities in the enterprise, which are useful to use to organize the production of additional items. Underutilization of the enterprise leads to higher costs, lower profitability and lower revenues, thus reducing the interest of the owners in the enterprise and thus threatening its existence. The article proposes a system of mathematical models, which allows to effectively use the capacity of the enterprise to increase its profitability due to the self-contained production of additional nomenclature, due to the use of temporarily increasing capacity. As the main hypothesis in the construction of the model, it is assumed that the economic security of the enterprise is determined by the degree of satisfaction of the economic interests of persons interested in the results of its activities. Therefore, it is proposed to consider the economic security of the enterprise from the point of view of effective use of the assets of the enterprise, which creates prerequisites for timely and full fulfilment of mutual obligations by the enterprise on the one hand, and by the owner, personnel, clients, partners, the State on the other. The proposed system of mathematical models implies that the enterprise is oriented towards the production of mass products, the realization of which involves a certain risk. The model assumes that the enterprise produces several types of industrial nomenclature and has the possibility to organize the production of additional nomenclature using available free capacities. The proposed model is intended to assess the feasibility of production, determine the best value for money and thereby increase the profitability of the enterprise. The use of a system of models improves the current activities of the enterprise, the feasibility and effectiveness of the existing innovation policy for the renewal of the production programme. The article provides recommendations for practical use of the model.

Abstract

The current study purpose is to conduct the relationship between the knowledge management (KNW), customer orientation (CUO) and tourism industry performance (TIP) of Indonesia with the moderating effect of supply chain marketing planning capabilities (SCMPC) and supply chain marketing implementations capabilities (SCMIC). For this purpose, the data was collected from the 400 professional managers by using a convenient sampling technique which yield a 80 percent response rate. The Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analysis has shown that knowledge management (KNW) has directly significant and positive association with the tourism industry performance (TIP) but customer orientation (CUO) has an insignificant relationship with the TIP. On the other hand, the indirect effect of the study has shown that both moderating indicators namely SCMPC and SCMIC have a significant moderating effect in the relationship of both of the exogenous and endogenous variable. Therefore, this moderating effect contribution is considered to be an important contribution of the study which fill the previous studies gaps. The research limitations and future directions at the end of the study were also discussed.

Abstract

Abstract One key aspect of Apple’s supply chain is its use of multiple suppliers for the same component. Reviews on this aspect of Apple’s supply chain strategy to examine the role that boards and directors can play in enhancing supply chain management and organisational performance that are prioritized in the electronic business competition. Increasing new smartphone vendors and creating smartphone products with advantages over other brands will cause consumers to recognize products according to their needs. This study aims to analyse the power of electronic word–of-mouth (eWOM) on supply chain procedure for trust and its impact on buying the interest of iPhone smartphones among customers. This research used the descriptive method and PLS path analysis. The population in this research was all consumers who are in the Bandung Electronic Center (BEC) with samples collection using an iteration formula. The study samples were 116 respondents. The results of this study explain that eWOM affects the supply chain and brand trust by 16.9% and 11.4% and the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The use of Single Own Vehicle (SOV) among university students in the campus area has been increased lately. Many factors attributed to this scenario. One of them is the availability of the university transport service in the campus area. The benefits of using SOV to the students is undeniable. However, such a scenario gives traffic or environmental problems if the number of SOV users are not regulated. One common approach that has been applied in many universities for reducing the SOV users is by providing the university transport service to their students. But why such service fails to reduce the number of SOV users? Using a Choice Experiment (CE) technique, this study is undertaken to investigate the UUM students’ preferences and satisfaction on the university transport service. The results from the Latent Class Model (LCM) show that the respondents in UUM are not satisfied with the currently provided service and put a hope that the service will be improved soon. This study also found that the respondents are willing to pay (WTP) an additional amount of money if the service is improved where the focus attributes of the service are such passengers loading and service to the nearby towns.

Abstract

Construction projects are becoming increasingly complex and the conventional methods of managing them have plateaued over the years. The complexity could be traced to the complexity of designs, which requires inputs from different suppliers/contractors. This has led to fragmentation where suppliers/ contractors specialize in a given project and are contracted to deliver only on their area of expertise. The aim of this paper is to produce evidence of the areas of application of supply chain management (SCM) in the construction industry. The aim was achieved by a thorough literature review of works done in the area. The results showed that all the selected research on the SCM falls within eight major areas. They are procurement, logistics, models application, information, performance evaluation, customer relationship, environmental management and sustainability. Other subfields can be derived from the areas.

Abstract

Abstract? The work aims to develop a supply chain model (SCM) for a production plant with limited supply chains, depending on the enterprise?s orders stock. To identify an agents' cooperation model, dynamic interaction within the stochastic uncertainty in the raw materials supply and orders for finished products was modeled using a multi-agent approach. The cooperation model includes production processes, from the raw materials supply to the release of finished products. It consists of self-sustaining agent blocks describing the state and dynamics of the production system. The SCM considers the influence of suppliers, consumers, and structural components, allowing adequately and promptly respond to disturbing market factors and contribute to organizational and economic stability of the enterprise. The supply chain model is formalized mathematically. It examines agent-related changes based on the strategy for optimizing material flows. The strategy in point involves minimizing deviations from a given assortment structure under certain circumstances.

Abstract

Abstract— Sustainability of supply chains is achieved through the consideration of the economic, environmental and social aspects in the decision making process.  There is an objective need to systematize knowledge about the peculiarities of the competitiveness of municipalities, identify factors that determine the competitive position of municipalities, and search for new supply chain management that allow improving and supplementing existing mechanisms for managing the competitiveness of municipal economic systems, as well as managing the competitiveness and socio-economic development of municipalities. The economic pillar of sustainability is addressed in this work considering the costs of the supply chain. In this regard, the sphere of culture should be considered as an integral part of the mechanism for forming the competitiveness of the national municipality of the Republic of Tatarstan. Valid approaches have been formulated for estimating the economic effects of supply chain strategy on regional economy and for identifying critical backward commodities. Using the developed approaches, the case study shows that local procurement strategy can significantly affect the regional economy
