Abstract

The process of digitalization changes strategies for social intercourse organization, it predetermines the emergence of disruptive technologies and trends such as sharing economy that plays a special part among them. The purpose of the given research is to shape developments of supply chain management which will facilitate the legal framing of adequate mechanisms of relations in the sphere of shared use of goods and services (sharing economy) under growth of digital technologies. The research reviews and analyses basic ideas of economic and supply chain practices. The main research methods were deduction (specification of general principles and their application to particular spheres), induction (the study of work arrangement of certain platforms under sharing economy and further specification of general principles), and method of comparative law. Sharing economy activities may be diverse. It can be of profit-seeking or non-profit character. Thus, relations under discussion can be mediated by gratuitous and non-gratuitous contracts. Participants of sharing economy can be considered commercial and non-commercial organizations, and supply chain strategies, and it results in the necessity of solving the problem of their legal standing so that they can take part in supply chain transactions. Research findings are important for the development of legal science and supply chain in particular. On the basis of the conducted research the authors determine the main vectors of development of supply chain management to ensure evolution of sharing economy in Russia therefore, obtained results can be applied in supply chain practices, profession, and research in the sphere of economic science. The article singles out application features of supply chain frameworks with respect to the emergent economic relations. It is revealed that scientific uncertainty of the notion "sharing economy" leads to ambiguous interpretation of the legal nature of existing relations, substantial problems in applying legal standards to them, and in settlement of arising disputes. The development of sharing practices is one of the most important aims of the managers responsible for business processes management in supply chains, especially for logistics processes.

Abstract

Abstract— The present study aims to examine the idea of supply chain management in the financial institutions like banks in the region of Indonesia. After the detailed examination of existing literature current research work has developed a model for the supply chain in financial perspective with its physical implication as well. This study use panel or pooled data taken from annual report of Islamic and conventional banks in Indonesia during 2012-2017 period and consist of 10 Islamic and 24 conventional banks. Pooled regression is used to estimate the effect of bank-specific such as profitability, growth, tangibility, earning volatility and size on supply chain management. The finding of this study shows that profitability and growth have positive and significant effect on supply chain management, while size and tangible asset have negative impact on it of conventional banks.  Earning volatility does not have any influence on supply chain management both for Islamic and conventional banks. In general, there is no significant explanatory variables which have significant influence on supply chain management of Islamic banks except growth variable which have marginal impact on supply chain management decision. In the future, this research can be developed by using different measure of earning volatility.

Abstract

This paper discusses the formulation of a risk model for paddy agricultural insurance in Indonesia. Indonesia as an agricultural country with a tropical climate, where the sun shines throughout its time, farmers can plant crops throughout the season. In particular, rice farming is currently an inseparable part of most agrarian societies in Indonesia, especially in West Java. However, changes in air temperature, weather and annual rainfall, which sometimes changes uncertainly, cause changes in cropping patterns. This weather uncertainty will certainly increase the risk of crop failure. This paper will analyze the effect of climate variables on the risk of crop failure. The climate variables in this analysis consist of temperature, wind speed, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, and rainfall. The method to be developed here is to use the parametric method which will be used as a reference to determine the magnitude of risk, namely generalized pareto distribution and peak over threshold as a threshold. The results obtained that the greatest risk of losses to farmers occurred in November, December, January, February and March with a value of 0.17485. The organization of this paper consists of introduction, methodology, results and discussion, and conclusions.

Supply chains provide the critical infrastructure for the production and distribution of goods and services in our network economy and serve as the conduits for the manufacturing, transportation, and consumption of products ranging from food, clothing, automobiles, and high-technology products, to healthcare products. Cities as major population centers serve not only as the principal demand points but also as the locations of many of the distribution and storage facilities, transportation providers, and even manufacturers. In this paper a new model is developed for the design of sustainable supply chains with a focus on cities that captures the frequency of network link operations, which is especially relevant to cities due to frequent freight deliveries. Descriptive interviews were reviewed thoroughly with the conceptualization of the substantiated philosophy as a sociological technique of examination. All in all, this attempt of review established that the supply chain management method with its multidisciplinary foundations and assessments can benefit to overawed sectoral barriers in urban design.

Abstract— Supply chain strategy of the company is an intangible factor and its evaluation is hard to be filed in physical sense. Meanwhile, in the epoch of digital revolution, when every individual can have duplicate in global information space, we can attempt to evaluate metrics characterizing supply chain strategy on the example of online platforms. Supply chain strategy within information space is studied narrowly, through the prism of marketing researches: exceptionally as the monitoring of feedbacks, searching from the scope of messages negative ones, that is to say feedback management. From another side, among SMM specialists you can find lots of recommendations on websites promotion, laying followers up and so on, but there are so limited researches on key indicator values of results of company supply chain strategy and its reputation on economy influence.  In this article we’ll attempt to evaluate supply chain strategy of company on the basis of open and available information on the example of on-line platform YouTube. On the example of successful company owners (YouTube channels), we’ll find correlation between metrics characterizing supply chain strategy and influence on results of activity - product monetization (video clips) and will define the most valuable ones. Supply chain strategy in this article is shown in new not investigated before format: as the controlling mechanism on platform. Based on research we found that upon the change of metrics characterizing supply chain strategy company revenue varies.

Abstract

Tax management is carried out by all companies, including the agricultural sector. In practice, the impact on financial performance caused by various problems relates to accounting policies of biological assets, transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, fairness, and the size of the company. This study aims to prove empirically whether there is an influence of biological asset accounting policy implications, good corporate governance practices, and company size on tax management through financial performance in agricultural sector companies. Supply chain management significantly and positively mediates among the relationship between policy implications, company size, good corporate governance practices, tax management and financial performance. Research data were collected through questionnaire instruments, face-to-face interviews, and group discussion forums, which were conducted in several places in Indonesia. Sampling was conducted with non-probability sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed that the implications of biological asset accounting policies and good corporate governance practices had a direct or indirect effect on tax management and financial performance. But company size has no direct or indirect effect on tax management and financial performance. The limitation of this research lies in the analysis unit of the plantation and forestry sector alone, not yet in other agricultural sectors such as livestock and fisheries that have the same characteristics as regulated in PSAK No. 69 Agriculture, namely biological transformation.
