Abstract

The agricultural sector, especially in the highland vegetables, is considered to have potential and prospects in supporting food diversification so it must have a comparative advantage. Comparative advantage is obtained with supply chain management and risk management, therefore an optimization model is needed. However, often in agricultural activities risks are often encountered, especially in supply chain distribution channels. Risk management is very important to minimize risks that are part of supply chain management. The objectives of this study are (1) to analyze supply chain flow in the highland vegetables of Karo districtand Dairi district, North Sumatra, (2) to know the optimization and risk management model of the vegetable supply chain distribution channel in Karo District, North Sumatra, and (3) analyzing the minimalism of microcos in vegetable distribution channel of the Karo Regencyand Dairi regency, North Sumatra. The results of this study will provide an optimization model and risk management in the highland supply chain distribution channel channel to have comparative value.

Abstract

Abstract. One of the most important recent topics that has been considered by researchers, is the fate of industrial products and goods with the end customer which has led to the creation of the concept of reverse supply chain. Reverse supply chain management includes all the processes of collecting products used by the customer, recycling, reproducing (repairing) and disposing of some unusable parts. Considering the importance of using reverse logistics in waste collection and also the importance of the fourth industrial revolution, the present study has been formed with the aim of Innovation in reverse supply chain model through industry 4.0 revolutions. In this research, a mathematical model for the reverse supply chain of municipal waste in conditions of uncertainty based on the pattern of the Industrial Revolution 4 is presented. This supply chain is the levels of distribution centers, customers, collection centers, recycling centers and destruction centers. Innovations of this research present and solve the mathematical model of the reverse supply chain of municipal waste recycling with the approach of Industrial Revolution Four, considering the dimensions of sustainability in the reverse supply chain of municipal waste recycling with the approach of Industry 4 Revolution, considering the location-routing phase in The reverse supply chain for municipal waste recycling is four with the Industrial Revolution approach. The understudy model is multi-objective and its objectives include minimizing transportation costs and environmental impacts and maximizing the amount of demand responded to the customer. Determining and identifying the dimensions of the Industrial Revolution Model 4, weighting the dimensions of the Industrial Revolution Model 4 in the sustainable reverse supply chain of municipal waste recycling, designing an integrated model of the sustainable reverse supply chain of municipal waste recycling based on the weight dimensions of the Industrial Revolution Model 4 and designing Implementation of meta-heuristic algorithms to solve the model

Abstract

Abstract— The purpose of this study was to know and analyze the Influence of supply chain management toward work motivation and it’s implication to employee performance. The method used in this research were descriptive survey method and explanatory survey. The population in this study amounted to 254 employees of BPNM (Christian Education Agency in Medan), with a sample size of 205 respondents. Analysis technique and hypothesis testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with LISREL 8.70 program. The result of research found that supply chain had positive and significant influence toward work motivation. Then also toward employee performance both partially and simultaneously supply chain management and work motivation had positive influence and significant. While, contribution percentage of supply chain, toward work motivation is 72% and contribution percentage of work motivation simultaneous toward employee performance is 85%. The implication on this research is that the employee performance especially on the quantity   will be able to be improved if BPNM able to increase work motivation especially to the needs’ motivation, work motivation will increase if BPNM is able to increase the leadership, especially in attitude dimension towards human, and increase the SCM especially to the internal integration, and supported by the improvement of interpersonal communication, mainly in social relationship. Furthermore, work motivation only have role for supply chain toward employee performance, while for SCM variable, work motivation don’t have role to escalate  employee performance, so in this model work motivation only as partial mediating.
