Abstract

Boosting the business activity of the supply chain for construction companies is an important business problem for each state, as it provides accommodation for the population. This problem is particularly acute in countries that are experiencing an economic crisis, such as Russia. This article assesses the business activity of the supply chain for construction companies based on turnover indicators (2015-2017), as well as analyzing the company's liquidity to introduce areas to promote supply chain activity. For example, we took into consideration the economic indices registered in Snabstroy LLC, which specializes in deliverables for the installation of windows and doors. As a result, this document shows that a crisis has led to a decline in the business activities of the supply chain for construction companies. Russian state programs have succeeded in stopping businesses, but remain at a significantly lower level than the pre-crisis period. In this regard, this article introduces original recommendations on the increase in the business activity of the supply chain for construction companies. Key words- boosting, supply chain, turnover, business activity, construction companies, management.

Abstract

Abstract- Over the years, the issue of talent shortage and undermanage of talent continues to stir challenges to many organizations both large and smaller firms. In most cases, SMEs constantly suffer from the shortage of talent due to various internal constraints, however, SMEs do aware of the importance of getting the right people for the key positions. Many of the respondents do recruit domain experts, although these employees are in the categories of lower-skilled workers. Although some forms of informal training provided by most SMEs to their employees, and tie the compensation with a merit-pay system, nevertheless, further alignment between skilled-workers and business goals still need to be enhanced in the long run. Despite all challenges and limitations, it is still possible for SMEs to kick-start proper talent management systems and continuously improves it from time to time. Identifying key positions is an initial attempt of talent management, as firms only need to hire talents in the area of a few core job functions. Followed by this will be appropriate talent development and commitment of firms to align talents with business goals. Also, inspiriting work cultures and values, proper feedback systems, and the like will further enhance the branding of SMEs and make it easier for SMEs to attract and retain talents. All these efforts will eventually translate into desirable organizational strategic outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract- The banking sector is the basis of the economy of any country which relies on the supply chain strategies. Funding plays a significant role in the activities of banks, in the structure of which deposits to this day remain the cheapest and most significant resources. Bank deposits are also a major part of the country's savings. The level of bank deposits allows us to judge the quality of funding of second-tier banks. The level of attracting deposits is influenced by many external and internal factors of an economic, political, social nature. An analysis of the studies available in the economic literature shows either a one-sided study of factors affecting bank deposits and the use of mainly linear regression, or a study of factors on deposits of the country's banking sector as a whole. However, this approach does not allow us to see the degree of dependence of the level of deposits on various factors for individual banks, which is much more important when evaluating funding. The author presents an attempt to analyze the influence of external and internal factors on the level of the deposit base of individual second-tier banks in Kazakhstan using ridge regression and ANOVA. In addition, our study has provided the primary data analyses, covering the impact of supply chain management and green supply chain adoption on the banking sector deposits. It is found that some factors of supply chain management and green supply chain adoption are positively impacting on bank?s deposit while others are found to be non-significant determinants for predicting the deposits of the banks. However, supply chain management (6th item) is adversely impacting on the first and second measure of bank?s deposit. Similar trend is observed by green supply chain adoption (5th item) on first and third measure of bank?s deposits in Kazakhstan.

Abstract

Abstract- One of the natural consequences of lending practices by banks and credit institutions has been the creation of deferred and doubtful loans- a phenomenon that has become a major concern for these institutions and has had a negative impact on their revenue and expenditure. From an internal perspective, operating costs, work efficiency, profitability, customer service, branch rank, employee wages and salaries, and other qualitative indicators are significantly affected. From an external perspective, these loans lead to slow cash flow, lack of timely and optimal allocation of resources to manufacturing networks and industries, low employment rates, and eventually economic recession. The purpose of this research is to cluster bank customers and determine the behavioral pattern of each cluster for supply chain finance using K-Means, FCM, and SUB Cluster models in Clementine 18.0, MATLAB 2016, and Excel software. 35 models were compared with a variety of parameters. After removing nonessential variables, the models were rerun and the outputs for each customer cluster were provided. The results showed that creditworthiness, education, job, collateral value, collateral type, loan term, and age respectively had the greatest impact. Finally, the K-Means model was found to be the most appropriate clustering technique.

Abstract

Abstract- The export potential of a country determines the development of its economy, profit-making organizations, and a high level of competitiveness in the world markets of goods. Supply chain management can be utilized in export system to improve the efficiency and make it easy for the receiver and sender. So, in this paper impact of the supply chain management in agricultural potential for export investigated. In addition, a high share of exports characterizes the internal supply of goods, the ability to produce it at lower costs than competitors. The strategic direction in this direction is the export of food. As you know, Russia has reached the indicators of the Food Security Doctrine, and now it is possible to export agricultural products. One of the developed agricultural regions of Russia is Belgorod region. As part of the development of the Federal project “Export of agricultural products”, it is necessary to assess at the regional level the capabilities of the Russian regions in terms of developing the export component and ensuring the implementation of the relevant indicators. In order to achieve these goals, we need a rational mechanism for allocating budget funds to support those regions that have prospects for increasing the production of export-oriented products, but for objective reasons, this mechanism is not available yet. The absence of an organizational and economic mechanism for state support of agricultural exports is not an incentive for further development of production and processing of agricultural products. This also does not contribute to the growth of Russia’s export potential. In our opinion, it is advisable to determine the possible components of such a mechanism, taking into account the characteristics of each region, for further generalization and optimization. Taking into account the export potential of the region and the prospects for its improvement, it will be effective to use various tools: the development of long-term comprehensive programs for the development of export-oriented industries, stimulating regional taxpayers-exporters, and providing subsidies for the development of the export logistics system.

Abstract

Fifty mergers and acquisitions deals that occurred in the period 2014-2017 in the Russian market were analyzed. Deals were randomly selected. The largest number of selected transactions accounted for 2015. 32% of all transactions occurred in the oil and gas sector of the economy. Within the framework of the study, two hypotheses were put forward: 1) the effectiveness of a merger and acquisition transaction increases with an increase in the capitalization of the company-buyer, 2) the effectiveness of a merger and acquisition transaction increases with an increase in its amount. The effectiveness of the merger and acquisition deal was expressed through the growth of the economic profit of the purchasing companies based on the comparative supply chain. Fifteen variables were selected as independent ones (return on invested capital; weighted average cost of capital; return on equity; return on assets; return on sales; multiplier “share return”; multiplier “price / earnings”; multiplier “price / book value of assets”; multiplier “ business value / revenue ”; multiplier“ Business cost / profit before interest, taxes and amortization ”; profitability of the company before interest, taxes and the multiplier “earnings before interest, taxes and depreciation / book value of assets”; the dollar exchange rate, etc.), however, only two of them were included in the final type of the regression model: the price / net profit multiplier and the amount of the merger / acquisition transaction.

Abstract

This aim of this study is to measure the technical efficiency score and identify the factors that affect the technical efficiency in plastic manufacturing firm in Malaysia for the year 2015 using the two stage Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The first stage involves calculating the efficiency score through the DEA using firm-level data, provided by the Department of Statistics, Malaysia. In the second stage, Tobit Regression Analysis was used to identify the significant factors affecting the efficiency of the plastic industry. The determining factors are the labor-ratio, training expenses, educational level ratios, wage rates, information and communications technology expenses and firm size. The results show that average efficiency score is moderate rate. Information and communication technology (ICT) expenditure, wage rate, research and development expenditure and education level are significant factors of the efficiency factor of a plastic product manufacturing firm. The implication of this decision suggests that firms need to emphasize significant factors to enhance firms' efficiency.

Abstract

The established new two-sided complete group chain sampling plan (NTSCoGCh), which operates with five acceptance criteria, and the two-sided group chain sampling plan (TS-GCh), which operates with three acceptance criteria, are consumer- and producer-focused plans respectively. Since the number of acceptance criteria influences the responding probability of lot acceptance in lot inspection, this paper suggests the balanced approach of the new two-sided group chain sampling plan (NTSGCh) which operates with four acceptance criteria. The lifetime distribution of Log-logistic is used in this study, and the method of time truncated life test simulation is conducted. The findings proved that the NTSGCh performed better than the NTSCoGCh. Therefore, the NTSGCh is a worthy option for implementation in lot inspection in the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

Abstract-The discussion of the international standards in general, and the international accountingstandards in particular are admittedly recognized as messing with de facto truths. Purchasing management for trading with the IMF is an essential issue which should be considered in the organization structure. This research has aimed to draw the attention of the Commission of international Accounting standards to a simple part within the international Accounting standard which is (borrowing costs). The fact that this criterion settled for identifying the practical steps in the description of the accounting treatment through the capitalization of borrowing costs and did not mention the accounting treatment for loans costs' that may be endured by the lender when the borrower fails to repay part or all of the loaned amount. As this part were not discussed under any item of the standard items, when there is doubt or failure of the borrower to pay the value of the debt (loan), and for the goal of protecting the lender on one hand and to integrate Accounting Standard - loan costs-on the other, therefore this study concludedthe necessity of pointing out to adding a part to that standard or devoting a separate item for that topic (Inability to repay the loaned amount wholly or partially by the borrower). As this research presented how to handle this case from an accounting point of view, and also this research suggesting changing the name of that standard from Borrowing costs to loans costs, giving a wider meaning to the parties to the loan lender and the borrower.
