Abstract

In todays dynamic business environment, the competition is no longer between firm, but between supply chains to gain competitive advantages. The trends have made industrial practitioners focusing more on the key factors influencing the performance of the supply chain operation. The powers of relational capability in managing supply chain have gained an incredible attention from researchers and practitioners because of the benefits of supply chain performance. However, the influences of organizational culture capability is equally critical for supply chain performance to keep growing. This paper makes an initial attempt to identify the critical success factors of supply chain operational performance amongst textile and apparel companies in Malaysia. The total of 201 questionnaires were sent to Malaysia's textile and apparel company that is listed in the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) directory. The total of 121 usable responses were obtained and analyzed through Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The discussion of this study is followed by presenting the results of survey on the relationship of relational capability and organizational culture capability on supply chain operational performance. The results shown that the relationship between relational capability and organizational culture capability have significant impact on the performance of supply chain operation.

Abstract

Abstract- With globalization and integration of the world economy, the concept of extended enterprise has taken root, leading to an increasingly important role played by the entire supply chain management, including procurement, logistics and distribution for ensuring a consistently high degree of customer satisfaction in terms of quality, delivery and cost. Unemployment is one of the main problems in developing countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to evidence the state pattern of the relationship between unemployment, supply chain strategy, and economic growth by investigating the accuracy of the Okun’s Law and the Phillips’ Curve in Indonesia. Time series data are sourced from the World Bank. As an addition to the independent variable, the dependency ratio is acknowledged to investigate unemployment based on the premise that a high dependency ratio will reduce the unemployment rate. The analysis model used in this study is the Error Correction Model (ECM). The results of this study are inflation rates, economic growth, and dependency ratios attained to be positively related to unemployment, and it illustrates that the Okun’ Law and Phillips’ Curve are not accurate to be applied in Indonesia.

Abstract

In developing acceptance sampling plan, the mean is often the choice due to the fact that it is a good estimator. However, it is only a good estimator when dealing with symmetrical data. If the data is not symmetrical, then the mean is no longer a good estimator, but the median is. The recent two-sided group chain acceptance sampling plans (TSGChSP) has only been applied to Pareto distribution of the 2nd kind by using the mean to cater for symmetrical data. In reality, some data are actually non-symmetrical. Hence, motivated by such scenario, the aim of this study is to produce the TSGChSP for Pareto distribution of the 2nd kind by using the median. The performances of TSGChSP are measured based on minimum number of groups,  and probability of lot acceptance, . The  is calculated by satisfying the consumer’s risk while the  is obtained at several values of median ratio. Finally, the number of million revolutions for 23 ball bearings is shown in order to show the application of the TSGChSP in the industry.

Abstract

There has been a substantial lag in the scientific and technological development of Russia. Supply chain strategy has become an increasingly important management tool to help organizations improve their business operations. Economic sanctions imposed by a number of countries concerning, first of all, the ban on modern technology transfer dictated the need for a fundamental revision of Russia’s model of economic development and brought the development of science and the creation of advanced technologies to the fore. The purpose of the article is to consider supply chain strategy for the scientific and technological development of Russian regions. The examples of Germany, Great Britain, the USA, and China are analyzed to summarize the advanced foreign experience and identify the features of the state management of scientific and technological development. Proposals for the formation of a strategic planning system for the scientific and technological development of Russian regions are formulated.

Abstract

Previous research suggests that the inconsistent results about the relationship between supplier chain integration and performance are due to incomplete and inappropriate conceptualization of supply chain integration dimensions. Therefore, since the resource-based view has been recognized as the most suitable framework to understand these capabilities, we identify and examine routines bundles that make up them. This paper contributes to expand the organizational routines research and provide theoretical guideline for future research in the supply chain management field.

Abstract

Abstract- The possibilities for applying supply chain risk management methods in the development of an advertising campaign are examined. The conceptual features of the implementation of promotional activities in the modern context are highlighted. A system-structural analysis, which enabled to develop an author's classification of the main types of risks and methods of their management in the process of forming an advertising company under conditions of uncertainty, is carried out. Based on a critical analysis of structured approaches to supply chain risk management methods, a ranking of supply chain risk management methods with features of advertising and advertising investment is proposed. A ranked list of supply chain risk management methods is developed for their prompt application in the development of an advertising company. In the process of solving the stated problems, the basic scientific approaches to the classification of supply chain risk management methods were analyzed, both standard methods (ISO 31000) and practical and creative practices of management were investigated. The synthesis of theoretical data and their systematization through a critical rethinking and analysis of supply chain risk management practices made it possible to develop and present an author’s interpretation of a generalized classification of supply chain risk management methods. The ranking of the main methods for assessing and managing risks for the formation of an advertising company, taking into account its features, is classified and performed.

Abstract

Abstract- The empirical literature on the effects of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) adoption strategies on supply chain management and accounting quality focuses on more IFRS enforcement strategy. Limited studies have, in particular, examined IFRS modification strategy in relationship with accounting quality. In this regard, this paper investigates the impacts of different IFRS adoption strategies on accounting quality.  The mediating effect of control of corruption on the relation between different IFRS adoption strategies on accounting quality is also examined. The paper uses the two step system GMM estimator with a sample of 35 countries for the periods that span from 2013 to 2017.  The findings reveal that different IFRS adoption strategies have significant influences on accounting quality. The different IFRS adoption strategies, namely enforcement and modification are positively associated with accounting quality with measure of timely loss recognition (?1 = 0.190, p 0.001) and (?2 = 0.189, p 0.001), respectively. These findings are consistent with the prior studies. The findings underline the importance of distinction between different IFRS adoption strategies. Furthermore, control of corruption is found to mediate the associations between different IFRS adoption strategies and quality of accounting, indicating  accounting quality is related to control of corruption, which in turn is affected by both IFRS enforcement and modification strategies. Additionally, the accounting quality is strongly improved by IFRS enforcement and modification through the control of corruption as mediation. This implies that the control of corruption in a given nation by consdring the SCM, improves in accounting quality more than IFRS adoption strategies. These findings provide flesh insights to stakeholders and contribute to accounting quality literature.

Abstract

In Indonesia the delaying of electronic ID card recording and rareness of E-ID card raw material mostly happened for past two years. This situation shown there’s implementation failure. Government acceleration of procurement policy has been released but still doesn’t solve the main problem itself. The delivery of blank ID card doesn’t spread evenly, many Indonesian citizen have to wait for more than 1 (one) year only for their electronic ID card being recorded and printed. For citizen this become disadvantages, there’s no proper supply chain management in delivering this blank ID from central government to province, city or district. Based on the phenomenon, the researcher aims to research whether the procurement policy, implementation of electronic ID card recording and its impact on Indonesia public trust or not. The analysis of the research problem is based the theory of policy implementation of Edwards in Subarsono (2005: 90) [1], theory effectiveness approach by Mahmudi (2005: 92) [2] adapted from Steers (1985: 53) [3] and for trust based by theory Flavian dan Giunaliu (2007) [4]. Methods used in this research are explanatory while the source and method for data collect use questionnaire and simple random sampling. The data was processed with partial least square. Result of this research showed a positive and significant impact of The Procurement Policy, Effectivity Implementation of Electronic ID card Recording on Citizen Trust. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this study was tested with PLS-SEM. Result shown procurement policy impact directly on citizen trust with path value 0,2882 greater than path value indirect impact through effectiveness implementation as much as 0,1765.
