Abstract

This writing is based on the research on Hizbuttahrir of South Kalimantan in historical perspective. From the research found that the coming of Hizbuttahrir in South Kalimantan started in 1990 by the two activist, Reza Rosadi and Ismanto. For the first time, Hizbuttahrir introduced through the discussion club or halaqah around campus. Later, it became the religion movement. The issues that developed by Hizbuttahrir of South Kalimantan is the enlightement of the society religion that they are able to practice the Islam totally in any life perspective.

Abstract

This article traces back the entry of the Shi?a in South Kalimantan through the inclusion of Islamic Wujudiyah (panentheism) Sufismwhich was firstspreadin the kingdom of Banjar.  This isdue to the similaritybetween Wujudiyah Sufism with the concept of Irfan in Shi'a. However, the influence of Shia in  South Kalimantan  suffered a setback atthe era  of Syekh Muhammad al-Banjari Arsyad (1710-1812 AD).  According to Habib Ali,Shia began to revive in South Kalimantan after the Iranian revolution in 1979.  Ja?fari school of thought (madhabs)  is the growing Shiah in South Kalimantan. Abstract

The writing discusses story of Noah (peace be upon him) in the Quran. The story will be approached by philosophical hermeneutics is conceived by Heiddegger and Gadamar. The main questions of the article are why and how the meaning of the story for Arabic people especially and for Moslem (human kind) generally. Finally, the result shows that Prophet Nuh is one of important ancestors for Arabic people and those people had listened and seen some historical events related to this prophet and his people. Moreover, the story teachs human being to surrender to Allah as it will lead them to appreciate all creations in this universe.

Abstract

This paper describes only the existence of Islamic Sufiyah tarekat (TSI) in the thought of H. Abdul Muin Hidayatullah. The results show that the TSI was built by H. Abdul Muin since 1955 after he was brought into a spiritual meeting with Rasulullah, Prophet Adam and Moses as well as 40 leaders of an Islamic state. At that time, he had been inducted as a murshid Zabir tarekat, while Murshid is the Messenger of Allah. That's when it started developing tarekat until he passed away, 1995 at the age of 87 years. Murshid was replaced by his own son, K.H. Abdullah al-Mahdi and develop it until now. The Islamic Sufiyah Tarekat is growing quite rapidly; reaching 7,000 people are now members, consisting of listeners, students, followers and supporters. They spread in South Kalimantan, especially in Banjarmasin, and in the District Tabunganen Tabalong, and actively carry out the teaching daily deed specified. It is in meaningful, positive impact on the development of faith and piety of its members.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan tentang tradisi baayun mulud yaitu salah satu tradisi lokal yang bernuansa religius di kalangan masyarakat Banjar. Dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung di dua tempat serta wawancara langsung terhadap pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, yaitu: di Makam Sultan Suriansyah Kecamatan Banjarmasin Utara Kota Banjarmasin dan Mesjid Jami Teluk Dalam Kecamatan Banjarmasin Tengah Kota Banjarmasin, maka dapat ditegaskan bahwa meskipun terlihat jelas adanya unsur-unsur budaya pra-Islam dalam pelaksanaan tradisi baayun mulud ini, namun dari sisi yang lain justru menunjukkan karakter khas dari sebuah proses islamisasi di tengah-tengah masyarakat Banjar, di mana kedatangan Islam tidaklah membabat habis seluruh tradisi lokal yang pernah ada di tengah-tengah masyarakat, melainkan menjadi ruh bagi tradisi yang dipandang masih layak dipertahankan dan banyak mengandung nilai-nilai positif

Abstract

This study examines the position of hadith of chapter 16 in the second volume of the Book of Kasyf al-Ghummah Fi Ahwalil Mauta Fil Barzakh Wal Qiyamah by Syeikh Daud al-Fatani. The research shows that Sheikh Daud wrote this book to answer the demands of the people who wanted to know about death and doomsday. The characteristics of this book present a number of hadiths without specifying the position of the hadith. The findings of the 16 Hadiths find 3 Hadiths of Muttafaqun alaih, 7 are sahih, 1 is hasan, 2 hadiths are dhaif, 3 hadiths are not known to their original sources. Among the 13 hadiths found its source, 11 hadith are maqbul and 2 are mardud.

Abstract

For the Muslims, the position of the Prophet Muhammad is not only transmitting the revelations, but also explaining and realizing them in all aspects of his life. Therefore, the description of how and what he ate is included as parts of the hadith. Nevertheless, the practice of hadith can not be separated from the assessment of the quality of these hadith. The results showed that the hadith associated with the Prophet?s tableware and Food is authentic both from its sanad and matan. The Hadith can be understood as a form of the humble life style of the prophet.  This attitude fits with what is said in the Qur'an and the Hadiths.

Abstract

Undang-undang Sultan Adam sebagai perangkat hukum peninggalan masa lalu kurang mendapatkan perhatian baik dari kalangan para ahli hukum maupun dari sejarawan, bahkan sampai sekarang ini teks peraturan itu belum pernah ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia karena sampai saat ini dokumen itu masih tertulis dalam bahasa Melayu/Banjar disertai terjemahannya dalam bahasa Belanda. Karena itu wajar apabila dokumen hukum itu tidak tersebar secara meluas dikalangan para ilmuan. Di sampimg itu dokumen hukum itu juga penting sebagai informasi bagi generasi mendatang tentang keberhasilan yang pernah dicapai oleh nenek moyang mereka dimasa lampau dalam menetapkan hukum di dalam masyarakatnya.

Abstract

Pilgrimage, tabarruk (seeking blessings) and tawassul (mediation) are three interrelated activities. A person who does such journey usually aims for the blessing of the Islamic scholars or the saints whose grave to be visited. This article analysed the phenomenon of Pilgrimage in Indonesia, especially in South Kalimantan.  Applying theological-normative approach, this study is expected to help the reader understand which activities of tawassul are allowed and which are not. Pilgrimage was once prohibited by Prophet Muhammad SAW, but, then allowed due to the reason that Moslems have possessed stronger faith.  Tabarruk and tawassul are somewhat prohibited. Based on the existed arguments, Tabarruk and tawassul is allowed in the sense that seeking blessings and meditating is on the virtues of the saints who have the privilege (karamah) from Allah SWT and believe that the will and consent is only from Allah SWT.Ziarah kubur, tabarruk (mencari berkah) dan tawassul (bermediasi) adalah tiga kegiatan yang saling berhubungan. Ketika seseorang berziarah kadang-kadang tujuannya adalah mencari berkah (tabarruk) sekaligus bermediasi (tawassul) dengan perantaraan berkah ulama atau wali yang berkubur di makam yang diziarahi. Tulisan ini bermaksud menganalisis fenomena ziarah wali yang marak di Indonesia, khususnya di Kalimantan Selatan. Dengan pendekatan teologis-normatif, kajian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pembaca memahami mana aktivitas tawassul yang boleh dilakukan dan mana yang terlarang dengan alasan yang lebih kuat, berdasar dalil yang saheh atau mu?tabar. Ziarah awalnya pernah dilarang Nabi saw, kemudian dibolehkan karena orang Islam sudah kuat imannya. Tabarruk dan tawassul memang ada yang dilarang. Berdasarkan dalil-dalil yang ada, mencari berkah dan bermediasi pada prinsipnya dibolehkan asal jangan sampai mensyarikatkan Allah Swt, dalam arti ketika mencari berkah dan bermediasi kepada orang-orang saleh yang mendapat keistimewaan (karamah) dari Allah Swt bukan mereka itu yang mampu memberi mannfaat atau sebaliknya tetapi semuanya atas kekendak dan izin Allah Swt semata.
