Abstract

The development of production and export of wood crafts in Bali yearly tends to remain the same. This phenomenon shows a decline in the sustainable competitiveness of woodcraft SMEs in Bali. This study analyzes the variables that affect the competitiveness of woodcraft SMEs in Bali, including the role of the Government, HR competence, marketing performance, social environment, digitalization technology, and production performance. Data were collected by observation and interview methods and then analyzed with the subject of the study being MSME actors in Bali Province by determining the sample using probability sampling—data analysis using Partial Least Square Path Modeling (PLS-PM). The study results indicate that the role of government, implementation of corporate social responsibility, contextual factors, and business competence affect the competitiveness of the wood craft industry in Bali.

Abstract

Digital Literacy is essential in the post-pandemic era. Teachers use Digital Literacy to provide learning materials, conduct the teaching process, and conduct evaluations online. However, Digital Literacy requires adequate information technology infrastructure to produce classroom management and learning effectiveness on an ongoing basis. The study used questionnaires to obtain data on Christian-based schools in Surabaya. The questionnaires were distributed to as many as 363 through a Google form, and 132 were filled out again. Data processing used partial least square. The results showed that digital literacy has an impact on classroom management. Classroom management influences learning effectiveness. Digital literacy affects learning effectiveness through classroom management. Digital Literacy has not influenced classroom management and learning effectiveness with information technology infrastructure as a moderating variable. This research provides a practical contribution for education managers to understand the adjustment of IT infrastructure to make digital literacy the basis for managing class management. In addition, teaching staff must be educated to keep abreast of technological developments to support the teaching process and improve class management. The study enriches the theory of the use of technology in education and interactional education in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain notice, knowledge, and practical experience to help-guiding-investors on how to anticipate and deal with complicated investment procedures in Indonesia. As a developing country, Indonesia is well known for applying complicated and overlapped procedures. The complex procedures start in the beginning phase, during construction, and even arise again when the construction phase has nearly completed to enter operation. The methods presented are based on mixed interdisciplinary analyses. In preliminary, we enhanced the initial data using case studies. In the next phase, we validate through an exploratory study combined with an analytical hierarchy process. We provide an additional stage of descriptive analysis before we conclude as research findings. The results found that investors must first build a bolstered project team to address the complicated procedures. The team has addressed five stages that must be carefully handled: the preparation phase, procurement stage, groundbreaking and construction period, commissioning time, and the scheduled closing ceremonies. The most attention is addressing the preparation stage. Despite being proven in the cement projects, the findings can be implemented in other construction projects with several adjustments. This study demonstrated better building governance for societies and Nations and would be beneficial to improve the fairness climate for the Government of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of firm characteristics and capital structure on the sustainable growth rate of technology and consumer goods companies listed on JII, considering the moderating influence of industrial sector variables. The research utilizes secondary panel data sourced from annual financial reports. The population consists of JII-listed companies from 2018 to 2022, with a purposive sampling approach resulting in a sample size of six firms. The Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square analysis findings reveal that firm size, characteristics, and capital structure significantly influence the sustainable growth rate, with firm size further enhanced through industrial sector moderation. The study contributes theoretically by emphasizing the significance of firm characteristics and capital structure while offering practical insights by showcasing how firms can stimulate sustainable growth through enhanced profitability and capital structure, thereby facilitating reinvestment and development.

Abstract

There are still many MSME actors who have not used e-wallets, especially in using online transportation. This paper examines the Utilitarianism, trust, risk perception, reputation, and costs of e-wallet users' interest in online transportation. This research uses quantitative methods. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 110 small and medium-scale entrepreneurs in Bali Province. Multiple linear regression analysis tests are used to test the interest of e-wallet users. The results show that the utilitarian variables, trust, and reputation, positively and significantly affect e-wallet user interest. At the same time, risk perceptions and cost do not affect e-wallet user interest. These costs are burdensome for consumers to purchase mobile devices to take advantage of digital payment services, so it takes time and effort to consider adopting new technology. Inclusive finance is an important entry point for inclusive growth; e-wallets also help Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises currently being promoted by the government to support the economy. TAM is a model that theoretically helps predict and explain user acceptance of information technology. Digital payment solutions allow consumers and merchants to use social media to buy and sell goods and services to create new economic opportunities.

Abstract

This research proxy uses the distance between brokers and borrowers to explore the interaction between brokers who provide consulting services to prospective property buyers. Meanwhile, the view from the banking side is assessing the risk profile of prospective mortgage borrowers. The research data collection is information on mortgage borrowers from Private Banks in Surabaya branches from the period 2015 - 2020 who used the help of real estate agents when buying a house and collected 1295 transactions. Data processing using probit regression. The test results show that the interaction between brokers and borrowers using distance as a proxy has no significant impact on mortgage defaults. Borrower interest rates raised by the company showed a substantial negative relationship with mortgage default. The study also reveals that borrower income has no impact on mortgage default. The managerial implication for banks is to determine the strategy of cooperation with property brokers to increase mortgage funding.
