Abstract

The purpose of this article is first to find out emotional intelligence, intellectual intelligence, and the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects after the determination of the Covid-19 pandemic, second to find out how high the influence of emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence simultaneously on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism object after the determination of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the third is to know the effect of emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence partially on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects after the determination of the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used to achieve the above objectives is an explanatory research method, the use of this method is because researchers do not only describe empirical facts found in the field, but also intend to analyze and explain the influence between variables. Subjects are human resources for tourism in Pangandaran beach with a sampling system. The results of this study, first, emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence have a significant effect simultaneously on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects. Second, emotional intelligence does not have a partially significant effect on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects. This is if interpreted in more detail, where emotional intelligence still has an influence on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects but is very small at 1.61%. Third, intellectual intelligence has a partially significant influence on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply the Business Model Canvas (BMC) to the business of oil palm farmers owned by young people in Jambi Province. This study used qualitative research methods through a descriptive approach and case studies. The analytical tool in this study used the Business Model Canvas (BMC). An in-depth analysis is carried out on business activities and the environment. The research sample amounted to 5 people determined by the purposive sampling method. Primary data was obtained through surveys, observations, and interviews, while secondary data was obtained through literature review. The results of the analysis with 9 components of BMC show that in general, oil palm farmers experience limited resources in plantation management to the selling process. The business development strategy that can be carried out is to look for Key Partners to support all fulfillment of the limited resources of Farmers in running a plantation business in a better and optimal manner. Key Partners in the form of “Support System” can be found or formed with the help of other parties. Synergistic Government, Companies, Educational Institutions (GCE) are needed, both at the policy level, as well as technically in an applicable and sustainable manner. The future research can be developed into qualitative and quantitative research, on different objects, with more complex models, involving more than one general business strategy development method such as SWOT Analysis and Blue Ocean Strategy, to marketing strategy, marketing mix, and promotion mix. for more in-depth and complex analysis.

Abstract

The survey conducted turned out to be the low performance of PT. Incasi Raya Padang. This is certainly influenced by several factors, including the work environment, work discipline and work motivation. This study aims to see the influence of: a) The influence of the work environment, work discipline on employee work motivation. b). The influence of work motivation, work environment and work discipline on employee performance. c). The influence of the work environment and work discipline on the performance of PT. Incasi Raya Padang with work motivation as an intervention. The population and samples in this study were employees of PT. Incasi Raya Padang as many as 60 people. Sample determination using total sampling. Data processing using Path Analysis. The results of this study show that the work environment has a significant effect on employee motivation. Work discipline has no significant effect on employee motivation.  Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. The work environment does not have a significant effect on the performance of PT. Incasi Raya Padang. Work discipline has a significant effect on the performance of PT. Incasi Raya Padang.  Indirectly, the work environment (X1) through motivation (Y) has a significant effect on employee performance. Indirectly, work discipline through motivation has an insignificant effect on PT. Incasi Raya Padang. The advice that can be conveyed in this study is for PT. Incasi Raya Padang can pay attention to employee comfort at work, because this is seen from the results of surveys and respondents' results on the work environment, it still shows poor results. Employee discipline must be prioritized and improved, so as to increase work motivation which has an impact on improving employee performance in carrying out tasks. Giving awards to employees in the form of position promotion can increase work motivation, so that it has a direct impact on employee performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted on private cement companies and government cement companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2016-2021.  The objectives of this study are (1) to find out and explain the  calculation of bankruptcy analysis using the Altman Z-score, Springate and Grover (2) To find out and explain the ranking of financial conditions and categories in bankruptcy in cement companies using the Altman, Springate, and Grover methods (3) To find out and explain the analysis of differences in bankruptcy using the Altman Z-score, Springate and Grover. The test carried out in this study is the ANOVA difference test. Different tests to be able to see the calculation of bankruptcy with the Altman z- score, grover and springate methods. that the mean value of the Altman model is 4,2223, which is higher than the Springate model, which is 1.2090 and the Grover model is 0.8582. Tests on both financial distress prediction models show that the significance value is smaller than (0.0000 < 0.05). And shows a sig value of 0.000 and a statistical value of 6,719. The value of sig P value is 0.000 < 0.05. If the P value < the critical limit of 0.05, then there is a significant difference between the two group.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical results, namely the Effect of Accountability, Transparency and Internal Control Systems on Local Government Performance (Case Study of OPD Dinas Jambi Province). Respondents in this study were service heads, financial administration officials, and treasurers in 19 Jambi provincial offices. Of the 57 questionnaires that were distributed, 51 respondents were obtained which could be included in data processing. The sampling technique in this study used the purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique uses the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Technique. The software used for data processing is SPSS version 22. The statistical analysis used in this research is the Validity Test, Reliability Test and Classical Assumption Test. The results of testing the hypothesis are as follows: First, Accountability, Transparency and Internal Control Systems Affect Local Government Performance. Both Accountability Affects Regional Government Performance. Third, transparency has no effect on local government performance. The Four Internal Control Systems Influence Regional Government Performance.

Abstract

Local taxes significantly influence local revenue to increase local revenue, and it is necessary to evaluate local revenue sources. The focus of this study is to ascertain how taxes affect local revenue in the Tojo Una-Una Regency. Data collection is done by using documentation techniques and a literature study. The variables used in this study are local revenue and local taxes. The data was then analyzed using a simple linear regression formula: correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, and statistical t-test using Minitab 19 software. The results showed that the simple regression coefficient value was 6.870, meaning that when taxes increased by one million, local revenue would increase by 6.870 million. The correlation value between local taxes and revenue is 0.976 (a very strong category). The obtained coefficient of determination has a value of 0.952, meaning that local taxes contribute 95.2% to the increase in local revenue. The results of the t-test, the calculated T value is 11.755 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.01. So, there is a significant effect between local taxes on increasing local revenue in Tojo Una-Una Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the formulation of the problem that has been designed,Namely to analyzed the effect of Inflation Rate, BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate, Net Profit and Firm Size simultaneously and partially on stock prices in the cosmetics and household goods sub-sector industry registered at Bursa Efek Indonesia period 2016-2020. The research methodology used is descriptive analysis method and statistical analysis method. The data used is secondary data. Based on the simultaneous test of ftable (3,091>2,76), by comparing the level of significance 0,034>0,05, so that it can be interpreted that simultananeosly the variable inflation rate, BI-7 day reverse repo rate, net profit, and firm size the effect stock prices. Based on the partial test, it can be concluded that the inflation rate variable has no positive and insignificant effect on stock prices, where thitung is 0.919 dan ttable 2,05954 (0,919<2,05954) with a significant level comparison (0,367>0,05), The BI-7 day reverse repo rate variable has no negative and insignificant effect on stock price, where thitung -0,598 dan ttabel 2,05954 (0,598<2,05954),with a significant level comparison (0,555>0,05), Net Profit variable is known to have a positive and significant effect on stock price, where thitungnya 2,814 and ttabel 2,05954 (2,814>2,05954) with a significant level comparison (0,009<0,05), and firm size variable firm has a negative and significant effect on stock, where thitungnya -3,441 and ttabel 2,05954 (3,441<205954) with a significant level comparison (0,002<0,05). The results of the coefficient of determination in this study indicate that the R Square is 0,331 which means that the contribution of the independent variable affects the dependent variable in this study of (0,331x100=33,1%).

Abstract

Advances in technology also have an impact on business actors, especially traders. Cultural changes in marketing strategies must be carried out by utilizing digital. AB sea food as a business actor that provides marine products has also revolutionized its marketing strategy. This is done to maintain the continuity of its business so as not to lose competitiveness. This study aims to determine the application of the free shipping system in seafood marketing strategies through Facebook. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data obtained from three aspects, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained from this study indicate that the application of the free shipping system in the marketing strategy through Facebook is increasing the attractiveness of consumers in choosing AB sea food products, the more consumers and resellers asking to partner, so the result is an increase in income.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence local revenue in Pariaman City over the last 10 years. The independent variables used include the number of tourists, the number of tourist objects and GRDP at constant prices. while the dependent variable is the local revenue of Pariaman City. The method in analyzing the data to be used is by means of multiple linear analysis by looking at the influence and relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, to see whether or not there is an influence between the number of tourists, the number of tourists, and the variable the amount of gross regional domestic product on the basis of price. constant to local revenue in the tourism sector. The results showed that partially GRDP at constant prices had a positive and significant effect on local revenue in the tourism sector of Pariaman City, while the variable number of tourists and the number of tourist objects did not significantly affect local revenue in the tourism sector of Pariaman City.

Abstract

Transformational Leadership is a leadership style that prioritizes employee welfare, motivates and inspires them. Based on data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, the Open Unemployment Rate in Batam City has increased by 1.78 points when compared to the TPT in August 2020 of 37.69%. This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership, motivation on employee job satisfaction in manufacturing companies in Batam City. This research was conducted with a survey method distributing questionnaires to 211 respondents who are employees who work at the three large-scale PT Manufaktur in Batam City, namely PT. Satnusa Persada, Tbk, PT. Philips Industries Batam, PT. Siix Electronic Indonesia. Then the data obtained were tested with SPSS and Smart PLS. From the test results, it can be concluded that transformational leadership has an effect on job satisfaction. Meanwhile, inspirational motivation has no effect on job satisfaction.
