Abstract

This research aims to analysis the influence of profitability ratios proxied by Return On Assets (ROA), leverage ratios proxied by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), liquidity ratios proxied by Current Ratio (CR) and activity ratios proxied by Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on the prediction of financial distress on service companies of hotel, restaurant and tourism sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2015-2019. The criteria of financial distress in research were measured using the Interest Coverage Ratio (ICR) with a value criterion of less than one. Analysis method used in this research is logistic regression. The research results show that the profitability ratio had an effect on the prediction of financial distress. While the leverage ratio, liquidity ratio and activity ratio have no effect on the prediction of financial distress. Keywords: Financial Distress, ROA, DAR, CR, TATO, ICR

Abstract

Work experience is very necessary in improving employee performance in the company. Employee work experience shows the level of mastery of skills. Employees who have had more years of service will have various kinds of work experience in solving various kinds of problems within the company. It is expected that employees will have good quality resources in improving work performance. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of work experience in improving employee performance scientifically based on the results of the existing literature review. If employees have a lot of work experience, then the abilities possessed by employees will be in accordance with the work given, so that employees have high performance. This employee performance refers to the results of work in completing the work. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Effect of Cognitive Bias and Emotional Bias on Fund Allocation Decision for Working Capital in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on Lombok Island during the Covid 19 Pandemic. The theoretical contribution of this research is expected to contribute to science and the development of behavioral finance theory that related to financial decision making and company performance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). In addition, behavioral finance is also expected to be the subject of financial management courses. Furthermore, the practical contribution of this research is expected to provide input, suggestions and recommendations to the policy makers of the NTB Provincial Government in making policies related to the development of SMEs. This research is a quantitative approach-based research, with the type of explanatory research. The research population is all SMEs located on the island of Lombok. The sampling technique is carried out by non-probability sampling, which uses judgment sampling, namely selecting SMEs that are engaged in the pottery industry and have already exported. From the existing population, there are 34 (thirty four) SMEs that can be taken as samples. Respondents in this study are the owners of each of these SMEs. The data collection technique used in this research is using a questionnaire. To achieve the research objectives and hypothesis testing, the data obtained will be processed according to the needs by using the statistical tool GSCA (Generalized Structured Component Analysis). The results showed that Cognitive Bias and Emotional Bias had a positive and significant impact on fund allocation decision for Working Capital in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on Lombok Island during the Covid 19 Pandemic. This was motivated by the age of most of the respondents of productive age, mostly male, the education level is mostly high school and college and the length of business is more than 15 (fifteen) years. Abstract

The purpose of research conducted on the creative industry of pearl jewelry is to analyze the strengthening of industrial marketing strategy due to the impact of covid-19 pandemic in Mataram. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive type of approach. Analysis is carried out in three stages, namely: the first stage as a data input stage on the IFE and EFE matrices, the second stage as a matching stage using the SWOT matrix, and the third stage was the formulation of strengthening marketing strategies for the pearl jewelry industry. The results show that this industry actually has a strong foundation to develop in future. Industry capacity and competence have been built for a long time as a legacy from previous generations, pearl quality, and the industry's ability to build networks with partners and consumers outside the region and even abroad can be a source of competitive advantage for the industry going forward. The Covid pandemic as the most dominant threat variable has collapsed the industrial structure, sales have fallen sharply, production activities and supply of raw materials have stopped. Most of the business actors in all production and marketing chains are unemployed. Strengthening the marketing strategy is formulated so that the industry can get out of unusual situations, namely the industry must build core competencies, using social media in marketing, using market places, continuing to build positive perceptions and attitudes about product quality, increasng craftsman creativity in design skills, and providing training to entrepreneurs and merchants on online marketing. Abstract

Research on career satisfaction and organizational culture is very important because employee career satisfaction can improve employee performance which is supported by the organizational culture. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimization performance to career satisfaction moderated by organizational culture on non-medical permanent employees at the Islamic Hospital of  Semarang. This study used questionnaire with 191 respondents. The results of this study found three aspects; first, self-competence and job demand have a positive and significant impact on career satisfaction. Second, self-competence and job demand have a positive and significant impact on performance. Third, career satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on performance supported by organizational culture at the Islamic Hospital of Semarang. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that encourage and inhibit the chicken livestock business in the partnership of Sinar Jaya Partners Ltd. The research approach used in this study was a qualitative method. The respondents consisted of three livestock businesses that are partners of Sinar Jaya Partners Ltd. The result showed that the main factors that encouraged and hindered the willingness of entrepreneurs to become partners of Mitra Sinar Jaya Ltd are: 1) Costs incurred by farmers in the broiler business in partnership with Mitra Sinar Jaya Ltd, namely the average number of fixed costs and the average amount; 2) The average total net income per harvest obtained by broiler breeders in the partnership of Sinar Jaya Partners Ltd Keywords: Chicken Livestock Business, Factors, Partners, Encouragers, Inhibitors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and liquidity on firm value through capital structure as an intervening variable in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling method used was purposive sampling method. Samples obtained as many as 28 companies from 2015 to 2019. To answer the hypothesis, this study uses multiple linear regression panel data which is analyzed using Eviews version 9 and path analysis. The result of this study shows profitability and capital structure have significant effect on firm value, while liquidty has no effect on firm value. Profitability has no effect on capital structure and liquidity affects capital structure. Furthermore, capital structure has not been able to mediate the effect of profitability on firm value. Capital structure is able to mediate the effect of liquidity on firm value. In allocating owned funds, it is necessary to be more careful in analyzing the performance of a company such as by looking at profitability, liquidity, capital structure to increase the expected value of the company.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Analisis Pengaruh Techno-Finance Literacy dan Praktik Entrepreneur Risk Management Terhadap Kinerja UKM di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 366 UKM. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga jumlah sampel ditentukan sebanyak 50 pelaku UKM. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah sampel survey. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah Literasi Keuangan, Literasi Teknologi dan Praktik ERM. Analisis data yang digunakan regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Literasi Keuangan dan Literasi Teknologi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja UKM sedangkan Praktik ERM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja UKM. Kata Kunci: Literasi Keuangan, Literasi Teknologi, Praktik ERM, dan Kinerja UKM

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic was not only felt in the field of health, but also had an impact on the economy. This research aims to find out the difference between Funding Policy (DAR), Investment Policy (FAR), Dividend Policy (DPR) and company value (Tobin's Q) before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in LQ 45 Companies listed on IDX. The results showed that there was no significant difference in DAR, FAR, DPR and Tobin's Q before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in the LQ 45 Company listed on the IDX. Before covid 19 DAR and DPR had a positive and significant effect on Tobin's Q. While during covod 19 only dpr had a positive and significant effect on Tobin's Q LQ 45 company registered with idx. Abstract

The aims of this reasearch are to know how the dimesions of brand equity which consists of brand awareness, brand associations, perceived quality and brand loyalty have partially and simultaneously influences with brand trust for AQUA mineral water customer’s in Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Data collections was carried out with interviews and questionnaires and sampling method in this research use non probabilty sampling-purpose sampling methods. The number of samples are 95 customers who always buy AQUA mineral water in Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results in this research shows that the dimensions of brand equity (brand awareness, brand associations, perceived quality and brand loyalty) partially and simultaneously have some significant influences with brand trust.
