Abstract

The Banjar people are the majority population of the Province of South Kalimantan, having diverse local wisdom. The uniqueness is in language, proverbs in oral communication, handycrafts on Banjar clothing or houses, knick-knacks and selected colors on Banjar traditional clothes, culinary possessions, as well as economic activities, community social activities, all characterized by uniqueness and diversity that is rich in philosophy. This research was conducted based on a review of the literature review with a qualitative approach. The aim is to identify and analyze the results of the local wisdom of the Banjar people in managing the uniqueness of the customs of culture, language, and the results of civilization that emerge as thoughts, inventions, feelings and intentions contained in the results of interacting with the external environment that give birth to values different from other ethnic groups

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect; financial leverage, profitability, underwriter reputation, company age and company size against underpricing of company shares that carried out an initial public offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2007 to 2013. The data used in this study is cross sectional data, namely prospectus data in the form of annual financial reports company, underwriter data, company age and size issued by the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2007-2013. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression. Data analysis begins with variable descriptive statistics, classic assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the research partially show that financial leverage has a positive effect on underpricing, while profitability, the reputation of the underwriter, the age of the company and the size of the company negatively affect underpricing. The results of the study indicate that together (simultaneous) financial leverage, profitability, underwriter reputation, company age and company size influence underpricing.

Abstract

Periodic Performance Assessment can be a clear parameter for employees. Some things that must be considered in the assessment process include: Objectivity assessment is preferred, not on the personality traits or character of a person but on how employees carry out their work. Employees generally argue that performance appraisals will not affect the compensation they earn. This is because based on the consideration that during this salary increase tends to be made equal and mass so there is no difference between outstanding employees and employees not achievers. Management has socialized the Company Rules, Standart Operation Procedure and each employee has known their job description, and this helps to clarify what activities should be done to the employee to achieve the job objectives. Performance appraisal results have not been followed up with guidance or training required by employees. Yet by looking at the results of these assessments it can be seen the strengths and weaknesses of each employee, and can make planning for training to improve the performance. Abstract

This research propose to examine the effect organization culture, tranformational leadership, and compensation, on employee performance. Ninety eight respondents from PT Telkom Cabang Banjamasin, completed 65 itemsself-reported measures. The data collected survey method and questionares distributed to respondent. The statistic method used was Multiple Regression. As expected, result indicated that tranformational leadership and compensation has a positive effects on employee performance, while organization culture didnt have effect on employee performance, its mean that The Telkom Way 135 which made since 2003 couldnt employee perform, because before it telkom had strong organization culture. Furthermore, results show that tranformational leadership have a stronger effect on employee performance than compensation.

Abstract

This study Aimed to describe the Human Resources Development, Compensation,Organizational Commitment and Employee Performance Operator PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk.Sukorejo Pandaan, analyze the influence of Human Resources Development, Compensation,and Organizational Commitment to Employee Performance Operator PT. HM SampoernaTbk. Sukorejo Pandaan, as well as identify and analyze between the variables of HumanResources Development, Compensation, and Organizational Commitment dominant influenceon employee performance Operator PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk. Sukorejo Pandaan. Thepopulation in this study were employees of the operator PT. HM. Sampoerna Tbk, SukorejoPandaan total 670 employees. The number of samples in this study were 250 respondents. Thesampling technique used in the study is simple random sampling assuming a homogeneouspopulation. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, F test and t test. Theanalysis showed that the development of human resources, compensation and organizationalcommitment influence on the performance of employees of PT. HM. Sampoerna Tbk SukorejoPandaan, which means that the development of human resources properly implemented,supported with adequate compensation, and high organizational committed employees canimprove employee performance. Development of human resources more dominant influencethan compensation and organizational commitment to employee performance PT. HM.Sampoerna Tbk Sukorejo Pandaan. This suggests that the main thing to consider to improvethe performance of employees of PT. HM. Abstract

This research is amed to do serve the sales development of wood furniture and to test the factors that influence it. Variables that are taste in thie research are variable X1 = price level, X2 = product amount, X3 = product varity, X4 = supply amount, and X5 = sales promotion. The sales development, if seen through index, show that in the year 2012, 15 (75%0 of the samples gained the increase, hwile the rest suffered from sales decrease; then in the year 2013, 14 (70%) of the samples gained sales increase, the rest 6 company suffered from sales decrease. If observed through the calculation the aggregate inkdex reached over 100% in the year 2012 and 2013; this means that the sales of the whole company, used as research samples, increase than the previous year. The result of variable test that used the F test show that F ratio = 13.401, bigger than the table F = 2,71; this means that the price level, product amount, product amount, supply amount, and sales promotion simultaneously give significant effects to the sales amount variable, as can be seen through the p value, that p (?) value = 1.680E-08 is lower than p value = 0,05.Key words : sales amount, price level, product amount, production varity, supply amount, sales promotion

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of human resource capacity and organizational commitment on the application of cash internal controls at the Regional Work Unit in the Banda Aceh City Government. The population in this study amounted to 36 SKPD and 108 respondents who were self from the Head of Service / Head of Agency / Head of Office as Budget Leaders and Users, SKPD Financial Administration Officers (PPK-SKPD) who examined payment request documents and made books on each SKPD cash expenditure , Treasurer of expenditure, Treasurer of receipt if there is cash receipt in the SKPD. Because of this research population, the nature of this research is census. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate simultaneously and partially the variable capacity of civil servant resources, organizational commitment and utilization of information technology affect the implementation of internal cash controls

Abstract

This study analyzes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats posed by Post Office Malang 65100 to achieve maximum results in services offered by PT. Pos Indonesian, by identifying all the resources and supporting services of PT. Pos Indonesia and analyze the strategic plan that must be done Post Office Malang 65100 in achieving organizational goals that have been specified. The research categorized as qualitative descriptive uses researchers as a key instrument in this study. Data collection techniques used include interview techniques and documentation of archives and other secondary data published by PT. Pos Indonesian.The result of data analysis with external internal matrix has illustrated the position of Post Office Malang 65100 in position of growth and stability and in SWOT quadrant diagram assessed that Post Office Malang 65100 has opportunity and strength which means can support aggressive growth policy so that it is possible that postal service offered can be expanded its market share, especially to start taking into account the growing development of micro, small and medium enterprises as a new market share of postal services. Capacity building of the employees as one of the main elements for the company and inter-institutional cooperation relationships that have been done or will be done need special attention to maximize the performance of Post Office Malang 65100

Abstract

The good performance of the legislature in this autonomy era is a necessity and necessity so that the institution can carry out its duties, authority and rights accountably, be more responsive and reliable. Good performance is certainly influenced by ability, leadership and work motivation and discipline of the board members themselves. On the basis of these reasons the authors are interested in discussing and knowing how the Effect of Ability and Motivation on the Performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD Members. This study aims to be able to describe the and motivation dominant influence on the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD Members.The analytical tool used ability, work motivation and performance, then analyze the influence of work ability and motivation on the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD Members then analyze the influence of the dominant variables between work ability in this study is to use used validity and reliability testing tools for the data, reliability testing was carried out by Cronbach Alpha test. To find out the influence between Ability (X1), Motivation (X2) and Performance (Y), simultaneous regression analysis methods are used as follows: Ability Test Results (X1), Motivation (X2) on Performance (Y) simultaneously on DPRD Members Banjarmasin. The analysis used is Linear Regression and tested using a distribution table.Based on the results of the research results, it can be stated that simultaneously it is known that for Ability t count = 2.914 *> t (45; 0.05) = 1.679 is significant and for Motivation t count = 0.944ns <t (45; 0.05) = 1.679 which means that work ability has a significant effect on the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD members, while non-significant work motivation means ability and motivation can affect performance even though there are motivational variables that cannot influence the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD members. Work ability is the variable that has the dominant influence on the performance of Banjarmasin City DPRD members, because based on the results of the ability test, motivation on performance simultaneously on members of Banjarmasin City DPRD, it is known that the ability variable has the most dominant influence, compared to the motivation variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the procedure for managing financial statements at the Kapuas District Office of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism.The data used in this study are documentary data, while the data sources used are secondary data with data collection technique in the form of documentation technique, namely collecting written material in the form of data obtained from the Finance Department of the Department of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism Kapuas Year 2015 and 2016. Data analysis technique use qualitative analysis technique.The results showed that: (1) the Kapuas District Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism Office had financial management procedures as a guideline governing the financial management process that covered all financial aspects managed by the Kapuas District Culture, Youth and Sports Service. (2) In the financial management procedure owned by the Department of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism of the Kapuas Regency, it has complied with government regulations stipulated in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 13 of 2006.
