Abstract

The process of the power transition from President Soekarno to President Soeharto left the story of political issues. One of the important issues marked the downfall of SukarnoaspresidentisNawaksaraincident.ThetransitionfromPresidentSuhartoto President BJ Habibie started with students strikes that forced Suharto to step down from his position as President. The strike was ended with resignation of Soeharto. Therefore, the vice president, Habibie, was appointed to be President. This raised a polemic about the legiticay of Habibie as President. The next power transition is from President Habibie to Abdurrahman Wahid and from President Abdurrahman Wahid to Megawati Sukarnoputri. The transition from President Abdurrahman Wahid to Megawati Sukarnoputri started with the emergence of many participant political parties in the election. It made more than one candidate for President so the election of President was done by MPR. That period is considered as the most democratic power transition process in the history of the Indonesian state administration. Susilo Bambang Yudoyono, who was the president after megawati, was the first president elected by people through direct election.Kata kunci : Peralihan Kekuasaan, Presiden

Abstract

Fikih sering dituduh tertinggal untuk menyahutiFikih sering dituduh tertinggal untuk menyahuti masalah-masalah sosial karena secara tradisional lebih berorientasi sufustik dan tekstual dogmatis. Keadaan ini diperparah dengan kajian-kajian fikih yang hanya menggunakan metode deduktif istinbathi, sehingga hasilnyapun tampak sebagai undukan fatwa yang berorientasi kemasa lalu, tidak menjangkau masa sekarang dan akan datang. Fikih sebenarnya akan berdaya saing dalam memberikan konsep-konsep untuk memecahkan masalah-masalah sosial, termasuk problema krisis lingkungan. Keberdayaan fikih itu akan tampak bila kajian- kajiannya diproyeksikan untuk menjawab masalah-masalah sosial yang ril terjadi dengan pendekatan induktif. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan deduktif doktriner dalam berijtihad dilakukan hanya sebagai langkah awal dan mesti dilanjutkan dengan pendekatan induktif istiqara?i. Abstract

Zakat adalah bagian dari pilar penting ajaran Islam yang nampaknya paling tidak optimal pelaksanaannya. Dalam konsep dasamya sebagaimana ditunjukkan dalam sejarah Islam, zakat menjadi otoritas pemerintah, bukan menjadi urusan individual para penganutnya. Namun yang tetjadi di Indo? nesia justru sebaliknya, peran pemerintah sangat terbatas dan tidak memadai. Kenyataan ini sebenamya bukanlah hal barn, karena temyata sejak masa pra-kemerdekaan, pengelolaan zakat di tanah air memang tidak pemah optimal, terutama karena pemerintah kolonial yang tidak mendukung, bahkan merintangi semua upaya optimalisasi pengelolaan zakat yang coba dilakukan umat Islam

Abstract

Jika sebagian kalangan feminis muslim menolak riwayat hadis yang menyebutkan tulang rusuk sebagai asal-usul kejadian perempuan pertama kali karena secara tidak langsung menyimbolkan posisi sub-ordinasi bagi perempuan, sebagian kaum sufi, justru memanfaatkan riwayat tersebut dalam penjelasan mereka dan memaknainya secara positif.  Kaum sufi justru menilainya sebagai simbol saling ketergantungan, cinta kasih, dan keberpasangan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Penulis dalam tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa dalam pandangan kaum sufi, perempuan semenjak awal penciptaannya telah ditakdirkan untuk menjadi pasangan bagi laki-laki, sehingga antara keduanya jadi saling melengkapi dan saling ketergantungan. Pandangan ini, tentu saja menepis anggapan tentang subordinasi bagi perempuan.  Pandangan kaum sufi dalam kasus ini sejalan dengan apa yang dikemukakan oleh kaum feminis muslim kontemporer. Namun demikian, berbeda dengan langkah yang diambil sebagian feminis muslim kontemporer, kaum sufi pada umumnya lebih memilih menggunakan ta?w?l sehingga memberi makna positif ketika memahami hadis-hadis yang menyebutkan asal usul penciptaan perempuan ketimbang mereka harus mencurigai para periwayatnya atau bahkan menganulir hadis-hadis Nabi yang dinilai sah?h oleh mayoritas ulama.If some Muslim feminists reject the tradition that argues that the Prophet Adam?s ribs as the origin of the first female event for it indirectly symbolizes the subordinate positions for women, some Sufis instead use the narratives in their explanations and positively interpret them. The Sufis judged the notion as a symbol of interdependence, love, and belonging between men and women. The writer in this paper concludes that in the view of the Sufis, women, since the beginning of their creation, have been destined to become a partner for men, so that between the two become complementary and interdependent. This view, of course, dismisses the notion of women?s subordination. The Sufi?s view in this case is in line with what contemporary Muslim feminists have argued. However, in contrast to the steps taken by some contemporary Muslim feminists, Sufis generally prefer to use the ta'w?l to provide a positive meaning in understanding the traditions which mention the origin of women's creation rather than to suspect their narrators or even annul The Prophet hadiths considered valid (sah?h) by the majority of scholars.

Abstract

Knowledge integration has been studied as the process of incorporating new informa- tion into a body of existing knowledge with an interdisciplinary approach. Language is not only the object of scientific study of linguistics, but also the object of study of other related disciplines. The importance of language in many studies and disciplines of knowl- edge has led to its status as a condition sin qua non to true understanding of other scientific objects of disciplines of knowledge. The mastery of Arabic language for ex- ample is a must for the study of Islamic religious texts. The religion of Islam places language on a very high position that it is explicitly mentioned in the Quran as one of the signs of the existence of God.

Abstract

The correlation between civil society and democracy is a big discussion in academic world. Democracy that engenders a civic culture usually linked into a tolerant behavior in society. This study aims to understand how the participation of individuals in civil society, in this case is BPK (fire fighter community) in Banjarmasin, cause them to become more tolerance in a pluralistic society. In addition, this study also examines whether the involvement of member to BPK in Banjarmasin make them as an individual who is more attentive and tolerant towards different groups or vice versa. This study argues that there is a correlation between a personal membership in civil society with their augmentation in tolerance attitude. The case of fire fighter community in Banjarmasin shows an establishment of a brotherhood among its members. The attitude of ?sanak ikam? or your brother brings up the attitude of civic members' tolerance of all the differences that exist in other individuals in general and differences in members of BPK in particular. Furthermore, on personal level, a member's attitude towards tolerance can also be affected by the diversity of members in BPK who their affiliated. However, BPK has the possibility of being a place for political contestation. On one side BPK has been playing a role in fostering tolerance in Banjarmasin society, on the other hand, it is possible in the future become a double-edged knife that even destroys the tolerance that has been formed.

Abstract

Learning strategy is an important factor in improving the quality of learning . In connection with the use of learning strategies , teachers need to be careful in the selection of strategies that will be used . This study aimed to describe the use of learning strategies by students on field practice MI Muhajirin Banjarmasin . Data was collected by observation . The analysis used is descriptive qualitative approach . Based on the analysis of data obtained from this study , it can be concluded that the ability to use learning strategies maahasiswa PPL II participants in MI Al Muhajirin can be quite good.Key words : Learning strategy and practice to teaching

Abstract

This article describes the meaning of education according to Sheikh Nawawi Al-Bantani by using library research and analytical study methods. Analytical studies used are analytical content and analytical descriptions of education according to Sheikh Nawai Al-Bantani. The result of this study indicates that the purpose of education in Islam is a reflection of the function of humans to worship God by achieving His pleasure, striving to eradicate ignorance, and striving to perpetuate Islam with the light of knowledge. His thoughts about educators and students reveal that the personality factor of educators is more important than other factors, whereas, students themselves, they should always hold fast to noble morals in dealing with teachers, both in the teaching and learning process or in interacting with teachers in daily life.Penelitian ini menguraikan pendidikan menurut Syekh Nawawi Al-Bantani. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan metode studi analitis. Studi analitis yang digunakan adalah analitis konten dan analitis deskripsi tentang pendidikan menurut Syekh Nawai Al-Bantani.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tujuan pendidikan dalam Islam merupakan sebuah refleksi dari fungsi manusia untuk beribadah kepada Allah yaitu dengan mencapai keridhoanNya, berjihad untuk memberantas kebodohan, berjihad untuk mengabadikan Islam dengan sinaran ilmu. Pemikirannya tentang pendidik dan peserta didik mengungkapkan bahwa faktor kepribadian pendidik lebih penting daripadafaktor yang lain, sedangkan dengan peserta didik sendiri hendaklah selalu berpegang teguh pada akhlak mulia dalam menghadapi guru, baik dalam proses belajar mengajar ataupun dalam berinteraksi dengan guru dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the social interaction among the religious elites in Palangka Raya. The focus of this writing was the patterns of interaction among the religious elites, the encouraging factors of interaction, and the implications of interaction among the religious communities towards the social life among the religious communities in Palangka Raya. This research is a field research using a qualitative method. The data was collected through observation and interview. It was concluded that the interaction among the religious elites in Palangka Raya was supported by the integrative strengths which enable the harmonious relationship among the religious elites. These integrative strengths were the cultural values which have rooted and have been inherited to the next generations, especially to Dayak society. The religious difference in Dayak culture is not seen as the opposing form, but as a human right and a personal choice of each person. On this level the patterns of interaction which will be formed is integrative solidarity. The harmonious relationship among the religious elites then has implications towards the social life among the religious communities. These implicationswere the realization of the harmonious and collaborative relationships among the religious communities in Palangka Raya.  Paper ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis interaksi sosial antara elit agama di Palangka Raya. Fokus kajian dalam tulisan ini terkait dengan pola interaksi elit agama, faktor pendorong interaksi, dan implikasi interaksi antara elit agama terhadap kehidupan sosial antar umat beragama di Kota Palangka Raya.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif.Untuk memperoleh data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara.Hasil temuan dapat disimpulkan bahwa interaksi antarelit agama di Kota Palangka Raya ditopang oleh kekuatan integratif yang memungkinkan terjadinya hubungan harmonis antara elit agama.Kekuatan integratif tersebut adalah nilai-nilai budaya yang telah mengakar dan diwariskan secara turun-temurun khususnya pada masyarakat Dayak. Perbedaan agama dalam budaya Dayak tidak dipandang sebagai bentuk pertentangan, tetapi sebagai hak asasi dan pilihan pribadi setiap orang. Pada tataran ini pola interaksi yang akan terbentuk adalah bersifat solidaritas integratif. Hubungan yang harmonis antara elit agama kemudian berimplikasi pada kehidupan sosial antarumat beragama di Palangka Raya. Implikasi tersebut terutawa terwujudnya hubungan yang harmonis dan kolaboratif antarumat beragama di Palangka Raya.
