Abstract

Educators take as an important rule in educational system. They are the ones who are responsible for the students in achieving their educational goals. Basically, there is no difference concept of educators in both Islamic and Western Education. However, Islam has broader perspectives compared to the Western one, since in Islam Allah is believed as the first and foremost teacher or educator. Then, this is continued by the Prophet Muhammad as a recipient of revelations from Allah, and then it is inherited to the Islamic Scholars and even parents to educate their followers, children, and all family members. The position of educators is highly appreciated according to Islamic Education, since the source of the knowledge taught to the human is directly from Allah the Almighty God. Therefore, the nature of educators should become role models which can be taken as a good example for the students in order to improve the quality of theit faith and piety. Thus, the terms and conditions for an educator are s/he must be an adult, has good personality and character, has broaden knowledge and skills, and also good attitudes and consistency based on Islamic taughts.

Abstract

Elementary school teacher education Department, an education institute that produces teachers for Islamic Elementary School, is demanded to give competence to students about instuctional material that can be created by teachers, in order to make an appropriate instructional material when they be a teacher and take a part in society. The material is an appropriate material that is suitable for 2013 curriculum; it is a material that can produce Indonesian people be more producive, creative, and inovative through  reinforcement of integrated attitude, skill, and knowledge. In order to have comprehensive understanding about development of instructional material and lesson plan based on competence, fulfill relevancy, adequacy and novelty, the students in Teaching English for Young Learners subject is supplied multimedia instructional material, so the students can notice frame of instructional material in English Instructional and its teaching learning process. Based on that problem, then instructional material based on interactive multimedia for English Subject Character Education based is developed.  It uses macromediaflash program application. It is equiped with interesting animation, audio, video, and evaluation about development of instructional material and lesson plan.

Abstract

Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi orang tua dan guru mengenai pentingnya bahasa Inggris untuk anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui FGD yang dilaksanakan  di TK ABA Karangmalang Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua dan guru menjawab bahwa pentingnya bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini, semakin dini anak-anak diajarkan semakin baik untuk ingatan dan pembentukan otak mereka, anak-anak memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi akan lebih bermanfaat jika diisi dengan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dan bahasa lainnya, ini juga berkaitan dengan masa emas perkembangan anak. Faktor bahasa Inggris pada anak adalah membawa pengaruh positif yang mampu meningkatkan pemerolehan bahasa anak pada perkembangan bahasa anak, sedangkan faktor bahasa Inggris pada anak juga membawa pengaruh negatif yaitu rendahnya kemampuan anak tentang bahasa pertama.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify medical students’ problems in following English online learning on the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used qualitative descriptive research using a survey design. The participants of this research were 183 medical students of Baiturahmah University who taking English subject. Data was collected through questionnaires that spread by using Google Forms. The data were analyzed quantitatively. The results of the study showed that the medical students had problems in English online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The problems faced were the networks, the limited quota, the environment, the motivation, and the comprehension of materials. It is hoped that the institutions, the lecturers, and the students find the solution in creating effective, conducive, and valuable learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi orang tua dan guru melalui kerjasama dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian studi komunitas. Populasi 500 orangtua siswa di 5 Kecamatan Kota Banjarmasin. Sampel adalah 200 orangtua  siswa dengan  menggunakan metode Snow balling. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi, partisipasi, dan dokumentasi. Data di verifikasi, melalui kredibilitas, transferabilitas, kriteria, konfirmasi, serta trianggulasi data dengan responden.            Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan dasar dan falsafah pendidikan karakter perilaku sosial yakni  pengenalan dan pengamalan, dapat membangun karakter perilaku sosial siswa terhadap Agama, Pancasila, dan Budaya Banjar. Anak-anak  dibimbing dan mendapat pedoman dengan keteladanan, disiplin, motivasi, pembiasaan, pelestarian dan pengembangan yang kondusif. Serta suasana pendidikan yang membantu mengembangkan lingkungan sosialnya. Dan orangtua memiliki pola untuk membimbing karakter perilaku sosial anak dengan menerapkan sikap kepemimpinan secara demokratis berdasarkan perkembangan karakter perilaku sosial anak. Kemudian oleh orangtua terbina secara harmonis karena adanya kerjasama dan penguatan pendidikan karakter dari sekolah dan guru-guru secara intensif dan kontinu.

Abstract

Problems facing the school is juvenile delinquency. Juvenile delinquency is so alarming cause of school MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin implement the system implementation point towards the students. With the hope that students be disciplined and strive to obey school rules at school are also at home. Peneitian This is a case study at MAN 2 Banjarmasin Model. Implementation of the system implementation point at MAN 2 Banjarmasin Model makes the students discipline, abide by the rules and deliver successful students when he graduated from school.

Abstract

The process of misconceptions about the concepts of quantum physics in students needs to be comprehensively analyzed. This is because most of the revision process of student misconception is done directly by simply replacing the wrong explanation with the correct explanation. While to understand the theory and hypothesis of quantum physics phenomena requires abstract physics model and formal mathematical language. Modeling done by the mind sometimes does not require image image in the brain. As between the wave function and the particle position associated with the mathematical model. The misconceptions in quantum physics occur because of the wrong scientific conceptual modeling process. The scientific conceptual model is divided into four dimensions: domain, composition, structure and organization. Analysis of the misconception process modeling using these dimensions will be done on the phenomenon of quantum physics. The misunderstanding of the definition of the wave function concept Ѱ (x) occurs due to the incorrect dimensions of the model's interactive structure. While the misconception of the concept of quantity of energy and the relationship of wave function with probability, occurs in the dimension of the behavioral structure of the model. In the concept of position measurement and momentum of quantum systems, errors occur in both structures.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine the instrument content validity and it’s construct validity of the mathematics self-efficacy scale based on valid dimensions. This research is part of the research on the effect of the number of scale categories on the accuracy of the prediction validity of the mathematics self-efficacy scale. The research instrument is a Likert scale questionnaire with five answer categories. Analysis of content validity using coefficient V by Aiken while construct validity uses the Confirmatory Factor Analysis method with the help of the LISREL 8.72 program. The results showed that (1) 28 of 40 items of the instrument content validity is valid in three dimensions : level, strength, and generality. (2) While 22 items out of 28 items of the instrument construct validity is proven valid as well. In conclusion, the mathematics self-efficacy scale instrument has been empirically tested valid  for its content and construct validity.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengangkat konsep globalisasi dalam kerangka proses sosial. Ada empat tokoh yang saya pilih, yaitu Anthony Giddens, John Urry, George Ritzer dan Anna Tsing. Bagaimana Giddens mengungkapkan tentang globalisasi yang merombak kehidupan manusia. Bagaimana Ritzer mengungkapkan tentang term menariknya yaitu Globalization Of Nothing. Serta bagaimana John Urry dengan Global Complexity-nya melihat fenomena globalisasi sebagai fenomena yang kompleks. Terakhir,  memilih pemikiran globalisasi yang logikanya berbeda dari kebanyakan teori sosial tentang globalisasi, yaitu pemikiran Anna Tsing dalam Friction-nya. Tulisan ini menjadi pijakan teoritis untuk research  yang berkenaan dengan fenomena globalisasi di Indonesia. Sehingga arah dan tujuan tulisan ini sebenarnya adalah menemukan teoritis yang tepat untuk penelitian globalisasi pada ranah lokal di Indonesia. Tulisan ini berada dalam lingkup kepentingan untuk menemukan basis teoritis yang tepat dalam melihat fenomena globalisasi pada ranah lokal, yaitu melihat proses sosial berupa keterhubungan lokal yang satu dengan lokal yang lain sehingga membentuk jaringan atau koneksi global.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of student learning outcomes and ARIAS learning model assisted props on the material addition and subtraction of integers. This type of research is a field research with quantitative approach. The research design is pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. Samples were students of class VII A with total of 42 people were determined by purposive sampling. Data were collected by achievement test, interview, observation and documentation. The results showed that: (1) the average value of initial tests of students in qualifying failed at 52.54 and the average value of the final tests which are in good qualification of 80.18; and (2) ARIAS learning model props cards marked effectively used in material addition and subtraction of integers in class VII MTsN Banjar Selatan 2 with a gain value of 0.56 in the moderate category.                                                                                      Key Words: ARIAS learning model, integers, cards marked
