Abstract

The size of the data that is owned by an application today is very influential on the amount of space in the memory needed one of which is a mobile-based application. One mobile application that is widely used by students and the public at this time is the Complete Natural Knowledge Summary (Rangkuman Pengetahuan Alam Lengkap or RPAL) application. The RPAL application requires a large amount of material storage space in the mobile memory after it has been installed, so it can cause this application to be ineffective (slow). Compression of data can be used as a solution to reduce the size of the data so as to minimize the need for space in memory. The levestein algorithm is a compression technique algorithm that can be used to compress material stored in the RPAL application database, so that the database size is small. This study describes how to compress the RPAL application database records, so as to minimize the space needed on memory. Based on tests conducted on 128 characters of data (200 bits), the compression results obtained of 136 bits (17 characters) with a compression ratio is 68% and redundancy is 32%.Keywords: compression, levestein, aplication, RPAL, text, database, mobile

Abstract

The bank is one of the financial institutions that provide a program called Home Ownership Loans or abbreviated KPR. In performing its services the bank ensures that prospective borrowers are really able to repay the approved mortgages. For that purpose, several criteria are set to the debtor wishing to apply for Home Ownership Credit. The application of MOORA method is used to calculate criteria as a requirement of the mortgage application. It is expected that the application of Multi-Objective Optimization On The Basis Of Ratio Analysis (Moora) method can assist the decision makers who remain for the debtor candidate.

Abstract

The development of information technology is very fast, causing a lot of security holes that can be misused by people who are not responsible so that it can harm certain parties. Digital images are chosen as a container for inserting messages because digital images have sufficient size to hold the message and digital images are often used in information exchange so as not to invite suspicion from irresponsible parties. The information to be sent is hidden in a digital image, then the digital image is sent as normal data, so that third parties do not suspect that there is confidential information inside. Information that is hidden in the digital image can be extracted again by the recipient of the message. Pixel Value Differencing (PVD) works on a pair of adjacent pixel values (adjacent pixels). The advantage of the Pixel Value Differencing (PVD) method is that the capacity of the image generated to insert a message can be smaller than its original size, the processing time of this method is quite fast, after the message is inserted, the image quality has good quality. But this method also has disadvantages, because it is not resistant to manipulation.Keywords: Steganography, Digital Image, Pixel Value Differencing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar nilai silhouette coefficient yang diperoleh dari perhitungan jarak data terhadap centroid menggunakan euclidean distance pada metode k-means serta memberikan masukan dalam ilmu pengetahuan untuk penelitian selanjutnya dalam mengembangkan metode k-means. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ini, peneliti menggunakan metode k-means dengan evaluasi silhouette coefficient. Dimana sumber data pada penelitian ini mengambil data langsung dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Indonesia dalam bentuk softcopy yang berjudul “Statistik Indonesia 2021” dengan URL : https://www.bps.go.id. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan data tahun 2020 yang terdiri dari 34 provinsi. Data akan diolah menggunakan  metode k-means dengan silhouette coefficient menggunakan euclidean distance. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu cluster = 4 merupakan cluster terbaik untuk mengelompokkan jumlah sekolah negeri di Indonesia menurut provinsi tahun 2020 dengan nilai silhouette coefficient sebesar -0,9944. Dengan dilakukannya penelitian dapat memberi masukan dalam ilmu pengetahuan untuk penelitian selanjutnya dalam mengembangkan metode clustering terutama k-means.

Abstract

The problems that occur in chef selection have been carried out by the Head of Chef and most likely not all criteria for lexis are made judged, sometimes only a few criteria are assessed. A good restaurant certainly needs to reconsider the chef who will be accepted according to predetermined criteria. The success of a restaurant business in the background of pengelolahan in it, including the selection of a good chef will encourage the success of the restaurant. In dealing with chef selection problems conducted by the Head of Chef, a decision support system can be developed in the face of chef acceptance selection problems, namely by using the Composite Performance Index method. The criteria that will be used as an assessment are the taste of cuisine, experience, speed, creativity, education, and cleanliness. Abstract

Grand Sirao Hotel is a hotel that stands in the middle of Medan City, located on Jl. Semarang. Grand Sirao Hotel is an attractive hotel in the sector of cooperation in certain fields, but in this hotel it often happens in cooperation with outside companies. One of the problems that often occurs at the Grand Sirao Hotel is the constrained stock of goods needed for guests staying at the hotel, items that are often constrained which are usually in the form of sandals and toiletries that are in short supply. This problem often arises because of the many other factors between companies related to hotel owners themselves, debates that often arise from hotel owner claims include quality of goods that are sometimes incompatible with reservations and need to be taken into account, inventory can be exhausted, prices always go up because of skyrocketing market prices and other problems. This collaboration problem arises due to lack of success in determining partnerships with related companies that are not appropriate and in company selection is also still manual and there are appropriate systems and criteria. Therefore a decision support system is needed in the selection of partners upon the proposed approval. One solution to this problem that is right is to make a decision system in the decision of the company's business partners so that the determination of cooperation in accordance with the right requirements. By using a Decision Support System (SPK) is expected to help the company in making decisions made by the right company partners in increasing the efficiency of the decision. PSI (Index Selection Preference Method) is a method for solving multi-decision making (MCDM) decisions. In the proposed method it is not necessary to submit among the attributes. There are no attributes required in computing that are involved in decision making. It is hoped that by using the PSI (Index Selection Preference) Method, it is necessary to establish a decision support system which can assist in the selection of corporate cooperation partners at the Grand Sirao Hotel.Keywords: Determination of Cooperation Partners, Decision Support System, PSI (Index Selection Preference)

Abstract

Guru bimbingan konseling merupakan guru yang memiliki peran sangat penting dalam membantu permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada di sekolah dan lingkungannya, bertujuan untuk membantu siswa mencapai tugas-tugas perkembangan secara optimal sebagai makhluk Tuhan, sosial, dan pribadi. Sehingga perlu melakukan seleksi dalam penerimaan guru bimbingan konseling karena layanan bimbingan konseling mempunyai peranan penting dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Proses seleksi penerimaan guru bimbingan konseling saat ini masih dinilai secara subjektif sehingga mempengaruhi kelancaran dalam proses pembelajaran siswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, untuk menjunjung tinggi objektivitas dalam seleksi penerimaan guru bimbingan konseling maka perlu dibangun suatu sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menyelesaikan proses seleksi penerimaan guru bimbingan konseling. Sistem pendukung keputusan adalah suatu sistem yang dibuat untuk memecahkan masalah. Saat ini sudah berkembang metode-metode penerapan sistem pendukung keputusan, diantaranya AHP dan MOORA. Penerapan metode AHP dan MOORA dinilai mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada. Hasil yang diharapkan dari perancangan sistem adalah sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan agar dapat membantu pihak sekolah dalam melakukan seleksi penerimaan guru bimbingan konseling secara objektif dengan menerapkan dua metode yaitu metode AHP dan metode MOORA, yang mana Metode AHP dapat memberikan bobot yang optimal karena melakukan perbandingan terhadap kriteria secara berpasangan dan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan metode MOORA untuk perangkingan.

Abstract

SUMUT Bank is one of the Banks in Indonesia with the name of the company PT. Regional Development Bank of North Sumatra. The North Sumatra Bank has branches in each region in North Sumatra both in the district and in the sub-district, and each of these branches is led by a branch leader or branch head. The head of this branch is responsible for the reversal of the Bank being led. The best and most accomplished branch heads deserve more and more awards. The selection of the best branch heads is selected transparently and structured in the hope that it can be a motivation for all branch heads to be able to further improve the quality and service of the Bank they lead. Making the best branch head selection done manually will take a long time and tends to be less transparent and structured. One solution so that the implementation of the selection can be carried out easily and quickly, it requires a Decision Support System that can provide consistency of assessment. In this study the method used is the VIKOR method (Visekriterijumsko Kompromisno Rangiranje). This method makes cracking on alternatives based on criteria that have been determined with an ideal compromise solution or the best solution, so that this system can later be beneficial for the SUMUT Bank to get the title in determining the best branch head.Keywords: Decision Support System, North Sumatra Bank, Branch Head, Vikor

Abstract

The village of East Sambirejo became one of the successful pilots in village data management. Village data management is the basis in village development planning, so that it is right on target according to the village's potential and community needs. Data sources from the Office of the Village Head of East Sambirejo in 2018 show that the number of underprivileged people in the Village of East Sambirejo is relatively high, with a total population of approximately 25,936 people and approximately 7,000 households with a percentage of the underprivileged population reaching 12.5%. Based on this number, it can be seen that there are still many people in the village of East Sambirejo who are generally poor. Based on these conditions, it is necessary to build a clustering system or grouping data to assist the village government in grouping underprivileged populations so that assistance from the village government can be distributed appropriately. Abstract

File dokumen yang mempunyai ukuran sangat besar dapat menimbulkan masalah, diantaranya ruang penyimpanan yang hanya dapat menampung beberapa informasi saja dan waktu pengiriman atau transfer data memakan waktu yang lebih lama. Hal ini menyebabkan masyarakat lebih memilih file dokumen yang mempunyai ukuran yang kecil. Dengan demikian, solusi untuk masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan melakukan proses kompresi atau pemampatan data file dokumen yang berukuran sangat besar menjadi ukuran yang kecil. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah kompresi file agar dapat menghemat ruang penyimpanan dan pengamanan file agar dapat merahasiakan data file tersebut. Algoritma Gopala-Hemachandra 2(GH-2(n)) merupakan pengembangan dari deret fibonacci dan algoritma Columnar Transposition Cipher merupakan pengamanan pesan dengan kunci simetris, yaitu proses enkripsi dan dekripsi pesan dilakukan dengan menggunakan kata kunci yang sama. Pada penelitian pernacangan sistem ini terdiri dari 4 proses yaitu Kompresi, Enkripsi, Dekripsi dan Dekompresi. Pada proses kompresi file dokumen berformat .RTF dihasilkan RC sebesar 1,19 dan SS sebesar 16%. Hasil kompresi tersebut dienkripsi dan didekripsi menggunakan algoritma columnar transposition cipher. Kemudian didekompresi menggunakan algoritma gopalahemachandra 2(GH-2(n)).
