Abstract

A broadcasting technician is a person in charge of preparing, running, and maintaining electronic equipment used to broadcast television shows, controlling audio equipment to adjust the volume level and sound quality during radio and television broadcasts, running the transmitter to broadcast television shows. To get a reliable broadcasting technician cannot be separated from the recruitment of these technicians to television stations. The broadcasting technician recruitment system carried out at Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) Medan is through a selection stage based on the required criteria using the interview process and the availability of the selection participant files. The weakness that is often experienced by users of the recruitment system is that it is difficult for the leadership to give the final decision regarding the selection participants who deserve to be accepted in an efficient time. To assist the leadership of Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) Medan in the decision-making process in selecting a broadcasting technician, a computer-based application is needed in the form of a decision support system that can provide supporting output for the decision-making. A decision support system is a system that has the ability to solve problems with structured and unstructured problem conditions that have a role in helping problem solving and no one knows how decisions should be made. Decision support systems can be used in assisting the decision making of a selection assessment. Decision support systems aim to provide predictions, provide information and direct information users to be able to make decisions more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 or Covid-19 is called global because it is spreading rapidly around the world, increasing cases and deaths, and lack of treatment and vaccines. Seeing rapid spread of Covid-19 and dangers will arise if not handled immediately, One of the most likely ways to prevent the spread of this virus is develop a vaccine. The Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office of DKI Jakarta Province Issues Decree (SK) No. 1972 of 2021 concerning the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Protocol in Offices or State-Owned Enterprises. Company leaders only allow the implementation of Work From Office (WFO) to workers who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 at least the first dose. One of the companies that need vaccines for workers is PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V or PTPN V because the number of Covid-19 cases in PTPN V is increasing. Based on this case, this research will model or group Covid-19 vaccine data at PTPN V using the Fuzzy C-Means algorithm. The attributes used in this study were Gender, Age, Unit of Work and Vaccine Status. The best cluster results obtained are 5 clusters, the most cluster in cluster 2 there are 3574 persons, and the cluster which has the least number of products is cluster 4 with 18 person. The result of testing the validity of the Silhouette Index (SI) value is 0.1541, thus the quality of the cluster is still far from reaching the optimal word.

Abstract

Data is an important aspect that has important information in it, which includes numbers, characters, symbols, pictures, sounds, or other signs that can be used as information. Data are certain facts, thus producing information. Cryptography is often used to secure and encode text data, messages, or other information, so using cryptographic algorithms on text data is able to secure data that is very important to everyone. So the expected results from the RC4 Cryptography algorithm and One Time Pad, which are used in text data can help in securing or encoding very important text data, so that the text is not easy to read or know the original message.

Abstract

The time of the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing and it is uncertain when it will end, so contributions from universities are needed in terms of innovation to anticipate the spread of COVID-19. This paper reports on the development of a temperature measurement application for early detection of COVID-19 based on Interactive Augmented Reality (IAR) technology and the MLX90614 sensor by knowing the framework and application prototyping. The application development method used is Extreme Programming (XP) which is a type of Agile Process and implements testing of application features with black-box and the precision of the application. The result of this research is that an application framework is produced, namely, the user opens the IAR camera application then directs the MLX90614 sensor to the target, the target immediately directs his face to the IAR camera, so that the results of body temperature detection can be tracked and visualized the results on the IAR user interface. The IAR camera function is to generate visualization in the form of detection result information into a user interface modeling. Furthermore, for the black-box test results, it was found that all the features of the application were functioning properly and the precision testing results were 94.44% with a very good category. In the future, the features and performance of the application will be improved as well as the efficiency of the form of the device used so that it can be used by the general public.

Abstract

Learning media is a means of delivering subject matter that can channel messages, stimulate thoughts and feelings and a person's willingness to learn. This is where the need for education from an early age, which is based on Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, states that early childhood education is one of the coaching efforts aimed at children from birth to 6 years. Awareness of the importance of mastering foreign languages, especially English in the current information age, has led to efforts to learn these languages from an early age. Therefore, this study aims to provide an alternative solution in early childhood learning media using marker based augmented reality technology. Making this application using Unity and Vuforia. Development for this software uses the Waterfall method. By utilizing AR technology supported by animation, images and sounds can attract children's interest in learning. The results of the tests that have been carried out through black box testing and pre-test and post-test that have been carried out by the correspondent show the results that the percentage figure is 100% which can be concluded that all features can run well based on their functions. The results obtained during the pre-test get an average of 48 while the post-test results have increased by getting an average of 97.5 which shows that the alternative application of English learning media is fun and very suitable for use by users as an effective and efficient learning medium. and of course interesting

Abstract

We are now in the era of the digital world. Many industries have switched to digital technology such as photos, videos, music, and so on. Of course, this change brings many benefits for us in terms of speed and data access. This has an impact on the number of the same files or duplicate files stored on one computer, this is certainly not needed and takes up storage space. As with document files, it will be very difficult to distinguish document files without seeing the contents of the document file. In cryptography there is a hash function which is a one-way function that can generate the identity of a file, where if the document file contains the same content, it will produce the same hash value. This can be used to identify the same or duplicate document files. In the hash function there is the SHA-1 method or the Secure Hash Algorithm 1 which is one of the hashing algorithms that is often used to encrypt data with a width of 20 bytes or 160 bits.

Abstract

The results of a study conducted by the Center for the Study of Child Protection (PUSKAPA) at the University of Indonesia noted that 40 million Indonesian children were born without a civil registration, so they do not have a legal identity and have difficulty accessing basic services. The government in protecting and prospering children issued Ministerial Regulation Number 2 of 2016 concerning Child Identity Cards (KIA). The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Child Identity Card program through the use of the Population Administration Information System (SIAK) in the Cimahi City Government and the obstacles encountered in its implementation. Since the existence of the Child Identity Card program, the City of Cimahi has been appointed as one of the first fifty regencies/cities to implement the program. Until now, the implementation of the Child Identity Card program carried out at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Cimahi City has been carried out well. Although in its implementation there are still obstacles. These obstacles are: 1) Lack of public awareness of the City of Cimahi on the importance of having a KIA, 2) Errors in inputting NIK in the SIAK application by operators when printing KIA, 3) Lack of public understanding of service procedures at the Disdukcapil Cimahi City which has switched to online-based services using the website and application of Sipade and Sibenda Cimahi City. After the research has been carried out, the efforts that can be made in order to increase the ownership of KIA in Cimahi City are: 1) Activities to accelerate the issuance of KIA, 2) Re-checking the NIK that has been inputted, 3) Providing understanding to residents about service procedures at the Cimahi City Disdukcapil which has been based on digital.

Abstract

The variety of virtual game champions Power Ranger Legacy Wars on the smartphone platform makes users confused in determining the formation of the team. But the choice of team formation during the process of playing video games requires a thorough skill and study that can sometimes lead to unexpected problems due to poor choices and can affect the game. In this paper, we will present the decision tree C4.5 algorithm process method to solve the problem of team selection in the game, then we will discuss the results to see whether the method chosen provides the right decision that will help players choose the warrior ranger easily in the game

Abstract

The progress of knowledge and technology in the present day is developing very rapidly, so that the information and data needs that are increasingly fast, precise and accurate are needed by the community. One example of a government agency that has made computer use one of its needs is the Langsa State Treasury Service Office in terms of data and information. In addition, the Langsa State Treasury Service office is a government agency that is close to the community and is a service office, especially employees who work with the government. This requires continuous changes along with the development of increasingly sophisticated science and technology. This research develops an information system that makes it easier for employees of the langsa treasury service office itself, and this research begins by collecting employee data, analyzing and designing systems.

Abstract

Taekwondo is one of the sports in martial arts originating from Korea. Someone who wants to take part in a taekwondo competition usually has to take part in the selection held. The selection process in determining the selection of taekwondo athletes is still having problems. In the field there are still obstacles in the selection of athletes caused by systems that still use manual or conventional methods. Apart from that decision making cannot see the criteria in achievement together. The shortcomings in the athlete selection process are the existence of fraudulent selection of trained athletes, as well as the slow process of determining the assessment of selected athletes. To solve the problem, a decision support system is designed to increase the effectiveness of decision making and produce optimal decisions. In this decision support system the method that can be used is the TOPSIS method. Assessment criteria used as a reference for assessment are technique, tactics, mental, physical, age, reflexes and flexibility. The criteria will be a reference for obtaining the final score.
