<![CDATA[The aim this study to create a new learning process, that can increase student’s understanding the concept of cell’s material. The purpose of this study was to develop valid, practical and effective biology’s learning media that oriented to concept approach at cell’s material in interactive compact disc (CD) form. The type of this research was the development research. Model and procedure development using 4-D (four-D-Model) without disseminate phase. Phase consists of phase define, design, and develop phase. Define phase involves analysis of curriculum, students, concept, and media. In design phase, the media (interactive CD) that oriented to concept approach was designed based on define phase. In develop phase, the validation of media was done by some experts, and limited testing for students in Senior High School (SMA 2) Sungai Penuh grade XI. The results of the study showed that the interactive CD oriented concept approach was valid. The value of validation was 3,29 whith valid criteria. Conclusion The study is an interactive CD oriented approach to the concept of cell material for class XI otherwise very valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process]]>

<![CDATA[One of the requirements in teaching English at Junior High Schools is the students are required to get better result in writing kinds of text. However, the fact showed that the students still faced problems in writing. Those problems can be caused because of not all stages of writing process are done. Specifically, the students did not go through and use a certain technique on prewriting stage, thus, they faced problems in expressing their ideas, organizing ideas, and developing good paragraph to produce a text type. Therefore, the researcher conducted an experimental reserach. The purpose of this reserach is to find out whether or not the effect of using questioning technique in pre writing stage toward students’ writing ability. Based research result, it was found that there was significant effect of using questioning technique toward students’ writing ability. Thus, the researcher suggests the English teachers and the students to apply questioning technique in writing process]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to increase students' confidence in learning by applying the Take and Give learning model. The subjects of this study were 27 students of class 1-A with the research location at SD Negeri Wonokusumo VI / 45 Surabaya. The research was conducted with a two-cycle action mechanism. Based on the results of the analysis of the results, it can be concluded that the Take and Give learning model that is applied to increase self-confidence in learning on the theme of caring for living things, class 1-A at SD Negeri Wonokusumo VI / 45 Surabaya is very effective and highly recommended by the author to continue. developed and implemented following the situation, conditions and atmosphere of student learning so that the teaching and learning process always gets its own appreciation and interest for students.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to improve students' simple story writing skills by applying guided training methods and utilizing song text media. The subjects of this research were 37 students of class III-A with the research location at SD Negeri Wonokusumo VI / 45 Surabaya. This research was conducted through a two-cycle action mechanism. Based on data analysis, from this study it can be concluded that the Skills of Writing Simple Stories for Grade III-A students of SD Negeri Wonokusumo VI / 45 Surabaya increased by 20.44% after participating in learning Simple Story Writing through guided training methods with song text media. The average result of the pre-action Simple Story Writing test was 61 (rounding down from 61.30) and in the first cycle the average result was 69 (rounding up from 68.62) then in cycle II the average results were obtained. an average of 77 (the result is rounded down from 77.05) or an increase of 15.75% from cycle I. The average result of the Simple Story Writing test score shows that learning Simple Story Writing through the guided practice method with song text media on Class III-A students of SD Negeri Wonokusumo VI / 45 Surabaya can improve and succeed.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine whether the application of the Auditory, Intellectually and Repetition (AIR) Learning Model has a positive impact on the learning achievement of Grade III-C students of SDN Wonokusumo VII/46 Surabaya. The research was carried out through a two-cycle mechanism using electronic learning media. Meanwhile, the students' learning achievement in Class III-C on the subject of understanding the main ideas in the text is the object of research that needs to be improved in this action research. Based on data analysis, from this study it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning achievement in the subject matter of Understanding the Main Ideas in Text and positive changes in student learning styles in the material of Understanding the Main Ideas in Text through the application of the Auditory, Intellectually and Repetition (AIR) Learning Model at SDN Wonokusumo VII/46 Surabaya with good category.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to improve analytical skills in Pancasila and citizenship education subjects by applying the picture and picture cooperative learning model. The subjects of this study were 33 students of class 1-A. This research was conducted at SDN Wonokusumo VII/46 Surabaya with an action research mechanism consisting of two cycles of action. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of the picture and picture cooperative learning model can improve the ability to analyze and improve student achievement in Class III-B SDN Wonokusumo VII/46 Surabaya City. This can be seen from the increase in the ability to analyze students in improving their learning outcomes. The effectiveness of the application of the picture and picture cooperative learning model in improving student achievement in Class III-B SDN Wonokusumo VII/46 is shown through an increase in the average post-test score, an increase in the percentage of classical completeness and an increase in the value of observation on students' analytical skills. The average post-test score in cycle I was 74.5 and cycle II was 78.4. Classical completeness in cycle I 76% and cycle II 94%. The average value of the observation on the students' ability to analyze in cycle I was 79.6 and cycle II was 82.0.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is based on the low interest in student learning towards teaching and learning activities through online. Because there is a limited knowledge of students who are not sensitive to technology and information, some students complain because of the difficulty in accessing this online learning. Even so, there are several learning applications that are free, but because of the low interest in students learning about learning applications and because of a lack of understanding of how to use them, here the researchers conducted student observations of online learning via WhatsApp. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the increase in online learning via WhatsApp on student interest in learning. This research is a collaborative classroom action research between the researcher, the teacher as the subject giving action and the students as the recipient of the action. This research was conducted at MA Hasannah in class X MIPA, with 13 students. The data collection method used by researchers is in the form of filling out a questionnaire using google form, while the research instrument is the questions that are presented on the questionnaire filling sheet on the google form. In this study it can be concluded that there is low student interest in online learning so that it affects student learning outcomes, so the solution is to use the WhatsApp application in online learning.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of the social studies concept of the fifth grade students of SDN Wonokusumo VI / 45 Surabaya by using the role playing method. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the research model design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The research was conducted in 3 cycles. The research subjects were students of class V SDN Wonokusumo VI / 45, which may be 32 students. Collecting data using observation techniques, learning outcomes (understanding concepts) and documentation. The data from the observations are in the form of observations of teacher activities with role playing methods and observations of student activities in learning. The concept test of understanding the cognitive aspects of learning outcomes tests which is the final evaluation exercise of each cycle to measure the assessment of social studies learning by applying the video-assisted role playing method. The results showed that the use of the video-assisted role playing method could improve students' conceptual understanding as indicated by the acquisition of the average value and the proportion of classical submission from cycle I to cycle II. Students' understanding of the concept in the first cycle showed an average value of 62.50 with the classical classification proportion of 21.80% with the poor category. In the second cycle it increased to 70.94 with a classical proportion of 53.13% in the sufficient category. The average cycle III student scores increased 76.56 percent from classical 81.25% with very good category. Keywords: Role Playing, Learning Videos, Concept Understanding.]]>

<![CDATA[This article will focus on what kind of education system and human resources are needed in the next century. Based on this knowledge, several alternative solutions are provided to solve problems in our education system to "produce quality human resources for the future". The research method used in this research is literature study method. The literature study method is a method used by the author by searching, collecting, digging, or examining various references or documents related to the topic being proposed, for this study one related article was used to support research supported by various other research sources. Then use content analysis techniques with historical and philosophical methods for analysis. From the research conducted, it is known that the changes that must be made in the field of education in the 21st century, namely the Indonesian curriculum, which forces students to read too much material, should be reproduced in practice. The assessment system in schools should emphasize process rather than results. In addition, learning facilities also need to be improved evenly in all regions of Indonesia. Quality human resources are needed in this global era. To produce quality human resources, of course, qualified educators are also needed. So that Indonesia will be more advanced with the next generation of nations who are able to compete with foreign nations.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the form of implementation of the values of democracy education in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Situraja. The research method used is a case study method with a qualitative approach. The research informants were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Situraja in the 2020/2021 school year with data collection techniques, namely asynchronously using google form media. The results showed that the values of democracy which became the benchmark in developing democracy had been lived by students, especially in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Situraja. They have implemented democratic values in the school environment. The values of democratic education are tolerance, honesty, social spirit, environmental care, creativity and responsibility. These democratic values are implemented through activities organized by the OSIS at SMP Negeri 1 Situraja.]]>
