Abstract

Type of research is the research and the development (R & D) to develop chemistry learning modules for the main material atom structural based guided inquiry and to explain about validity, practicality and effectiveness of the resulting module. Expansion model used is 4-D model. The development begins with analyze the front end, the students, the tasks and the concepts analysis. It’s be continued by designing chemistry learning modules based guided inquiry. Than the module developed through development stage such as validation and revision based on validator comments to get valid learning module to be tested in the field. The valid learning module was tested to the students to explain the module practicality and effectiveness. The result of data analysis show that learning module was valid with the average value of kappa moment 0,73. Practicality module was shown by the result of data analysis of questionnaire for teacher response with kappa moment value 0,85 and the questionnaire for student response with kappa moment 0,80. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that learning module was valid and practical to used in chemistry learning. The effectiveness test showed that the average value of students’ understanding was 82,31.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and in study about influence of mathematical by self regulated learning against the ability of mathematical creative thinking high school students. The methods used in this research is quantitative data with the correlational method. The population in this research is a high school student in the city of Karawang with sampels as many as 32 student that assigned by techniques purposif sampling at one high school in the city of Karawang. The instruments in this research is a test of the ability of mathematical creative thinking as much as 4 items and scale self regulated learning as much as 10 scale statements.

Abstract

This study aims to see how much influence or difference on the results of the initial arithmetic learning. In this study the dick class and the experiment were both given a pretest, then given a different treatment. The treatment is an experimental class given treatment in the form of an interactive audio visual video game, while the control class only uses conventional learning, after being given several treatments, then the experimental class and the control class are given posttest. Next, a study is conducted on how successful the use of an interactive audio visual game in improve initial arithmetic skills. This research uses quasi-experimental research. The research design used by researchers is None Quivalent Control Group Design. As for the sampling using non-probability sampling or non random sampling techniques A total of 17 children of group B Ra Al Asyar'y were involved as an experimental group of 9 children in the control group of 8 people. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, then the data collected was analyzed with descriptive statistics and t-test infirential statistics. The results of this study found that there were differences in the initial numeracy ability between groups of children who were taught with video learning with groups of children who were taught with whiteboard (conventional) media group B. This was indicated by the results of a significant value of 0.00 <0.05 then H1 accepted and H0 rejected. The average score of the experimental group is 26,25 and the average score of the control group is 23,25 This means that the average score of the experimental group> the average score of the control group, so that it can be concluded that the application of instructional video has an effect on the ability to count in the beginning of group B. Ra Al Asyar'y. Based on this research, it can be suggested that learning videos can be used to solve problems in developing children's beginner's numeracy skills.

Abstract

Mathematics is usually considered by students as the most difficult subject, this is a problem for teachers so there is a need for innovation in the learning process so that students' assumptions can be resolved.Mathematics can also be used to analyze and simplify as problems. Integers are numbers consisting of counts and negative numbers, the set of all integers denoted by Z, the set Z is closed to addition operations, subtraction operations and multiplication operations. This research method is qualitative. The study population is class II MI BAABUSSALAAM. The sample was taken in only one class with 20 students. Data collection was carried out with two forms of written test instruments in the description and interviews of students who experienced types of mathematical problem solving difficulties namely 1) understanding the problem 2) making plans 3) implementing the plan, 4) looking back at the results obtained. Data analysis was performed by examining the number of answers based on grade level, namely upper class, lower class and middle class supported by interview test results. We can apply the correct concepts regarding integer material to students who have difficulty.

Abstract

Based on the Hofstede's cultural dimensions theory, the paper aims to analyze the cultural difference in education between China and the UK on a documentary Are Our Kids Tough Enough? Which was made by BBC. Comparative study method was undertaken for illustrating the date of culture dimensions difference of the UK’s and China’s. The result shows that the obvious difference lies on Collectivism and Individualism, Power distance, as well as long-time orientation and short-time orientation. The documentary was thus analyzed from these three perspectives. The conclusion was that 1) Chinese teachers wanted to utilize power to control British students, but students refused to obey them for their low power distance. 2) Many activities were held in the whole class by Chinese teachers for their collectivism, but the British students could not accept them and pursue their own right. 3) Chinese teachers took the the final exam seriously because of long-term orientation but the British students were reverse for their short-term orientation. 4) The date of uncertainty avoidance and Masculinity are almost the same in these two countries, but they were reflected in different ways. And with the conclusion, the effective strategies to overcome culture conflict will be offered to Chinese teachers and all other teachers in the cross-culture communication context.

Abstract

This study aims to disclose information and discuss the application of a scientific approach in an effort to improve student learning outcomes on the theme of figures and inventions in class VI SD Negeri 113/X Pandan Makmur.This research is included in the type of classroom action research (CAR). This research was carried out in this research was carried out at SD Negeri 113/X Pandan Jaya. The time of this research was carried out in the odd semester of the academic year 2021 - 2022, which began in September 2021. The subjects in this study were class VI students, totaling 23 people. The research procedure consisted of two cycles with four stages of research starting from planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation sheets, field notes, learning outcomes test sheets, and documents. The data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that the scientific approach to the theme of figures and discoveries can improve student learning outcomes in grade VI SD Negeri 113/X Pandan Jaya which is marked by an increase from pre-cycle (22%), cycle I (57%), cycle II (91%).

Abstract

This study aims to disclose information and discuss Efforts to Improve Student Learning Outcomes on the Theme of Caring for Living Creatures through Problem Based Learning Models in Class IV SD Negeri 168/X Pandan Sejahtera. This research is included in the type of classroom action research (CAR). This research was carried out in this research was carried out at SD Negeri 168/X Pandan Sejahtera. The time of this research was carried out in the odd semester of the academic year 2021 - 2022, which began in October 2021. The subjects in this study were class IV students, totaling 16 people. The research procedure consisted of two cycles with four stages of research starting from planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation sheets, learning outcomes test sheets, and documents. The data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that through use of Problem Based Learning Learning Model on the Theme of Caring for Living Creatures can improve student learning outcomes in grade IV SD Negeri 168/X Pandan Sejahtera which is marked by an increase from pre-cycle (31%), cycle I (56%), cycle II (94%).

Abstract

This study aims to disclose information and discuss the use of the assignment method in an effort to improve student learning outcomes on the theme of figures and inventions in class VI SD Negeri 169/X Pandan Makmur. This research is included in the type of classroom action research (CAR). This research was carried out in this research was carried out at SD Negeri 169/X Pandan Makmur. The time of this research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021 - 2022 school year, which began in September 2021. The subjects in this study were 26 grade VI students. The research procedure consisted of two cycles with four stages of research starting from planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation sheets, field notes, learning outcomes test sheets, and documents. The data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that the Assignment Method on the Theme of Characters and Inventions can improve student learning outcomes in class VI SD Negeri 169/X Pandan Makmur which is characterized by an increase from pre-cycle (27%), cycle I (65%), cycle II (88%).

Abstract

This study aims to disclose information and discuss the optimization of the use of the picture and picture learning model in effort to improve student learning outcomes with the theme of clean and healthy living in class II SD Negeri 206/X Pandan Jaya. This research is included in the type of classroom action research (CAR). This research was carried out in this research was carried out at SD Negeri 206/X Pandan Jaya. The time of this research was carried out in the odd semester of the academic year 2021 - 2022, which began in November 2021. The subjects in this study were class II students, totaling 16 people. The research procedure consisted of two cycles with four stages of research starting from planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that the Picture and Picture Learning Model on the Clean and Healthy Living Theme can improve student learning outcomes in class II SD Negeri 206/X Pandan Jaya which is characterized by increased completeness from pre-cycle (19%), cycle I (25%), cycle II (81%).
