Abstract

This study aims to determine whether nor not there is an increase in the memory of the Environmental Balance material through the application of Mind Mapping techniques to students of Class 4-C SD Negeri Kendangsari I/276 Surabaya, and to determine how much the increase in the memory of the Environmental Balance material through the application of Mind Mapping techniques to students. Class 4-C SD Negeri Kendangsari I/276 Surabaya. This research was conducted to overcome the problem of low memory experienced by students of Class 4-C SD Negeri Kendangsari I/276 Surabaya. Therefore, the author as a teacher in the class tries to apply the Mind Mapping technique which focuses on student learning activities in order to get educational values, knowledge in learning and maximum memory. The action research was carried out in two learning cycles and, based on the exposure to the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the memory of the Environmental Balance material through the application of Mind Mapping techniques in Class 4-C students of SD Negeri Kendangsari I/276 Surabaya. Improved memory of Environmental Balance material through the application of Mind Mapping techniques in Grade 4-C students of SD Negeri Kendangsari I/276 Surabaya an average of 25%

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of learning using a creative problem-solving model which was implemented in SDN Purwodadi 01. The sample quantity of 57 students consisted of an experimental class and a control class. The research design uses quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The results of the research show that there is influence of creative problem-solving models to understand the concept of science proved on different mean results after being treated. The experimental class has an average posttest score of 77 higher than the control class with an average posttest score of 64. The t-test result (independent sample t-test) which shows the significance of 0.00<0.05, then it can be concluded that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted, means creative problem-solving model has effect on understanding science concepts of grade 4 students of SDN Purwodadi 01.

Abstract

The main purpose of this action research is to find out the development of the quality of human resources for teachers and employees through the implementation of quality improvement management based on Pancasila Student Profile Revitalization at SD Negeri Kedurus I Surabaya. Responding to the current Covid-19 pandemic conditions, learning in the new academic year 2021/2022 is dynamic in nature referring to the policy on the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in each region, and the Joint Decree (SKB) of 4 Ministers on Guidelines for Implementation of Learning in a Pandemic Period. Covid-19. In the midst of these circumstances, schools are required to play a driving role or locomotor in the process of forming the Pancasila Student Profile which is a manifestation of the idealism of a series of characteristics inherent in students as a result of effective educational and learning interventions. Indeed, education plays a very important role in the process of improving the quality of human resources. Improving the quality of education is a process that is integrated with the process of improving the quality of human resources itself. The implementation of the quality improvement management is through the mechanism of 4 (four) cycles of action carried out on 30 teachers and employees at SD Negeri Kedurus I Surabaya. Based on the explanation of the research data above, it can be concluded that the implementation of quality improvement management based on the Pancasila Student Profile Revitalization has proven to be effective in improving the quality of human resources for teachers and employees at SD Negeri Kedurus I Surabaya. This is indicated by the high achievement of the indicators for implementing MPM and improving the quality of human resources for teachers and employees and moving progressively from a score of 2.5 or 63% with 38% completeness at the beginning of the cycle to 3.2 or 81% with 100% completeness at the end of the cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the value of justice for honorary teachers in the world of work and highlight various policies and issues that have strengthened in recent years from an ethical, legal, and human rights perspective. The method in this study is a qualitative method by conducting a literature review. The basic paradigm adopted is Justice as Fairness proposed by John Rawls. Sources of data that are used as references are books, secondary data, observations, and legislation related to research issues with the main reference book being A Theory of Justice as the result of John Rawls's thinking. This research is expected to provide an overview of the reality experienced by honorary teachers in the world of work, provide moral support for the struggle of honorary teachers in Indonesia, and insert an ethical perspective on the problems of honorary teachers in Indonesia. Some of the findings in this study are that the Ministry of Education and Culture as the institution that oversees honorary teachers creates a condition of circumstances of justice where it is necessary to apply the principles of social justice to create social cooperation, as well as a fair distribution of primary values ​​so that it does not cause economic inequality and can fulfill life. worthy. Besides being ethically unfair, the legal perspective also shows that there are still many parts of the law that have not been reflected on honorary teachers as workers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of early childhood creativity through integrated learning. Integrated Learning is learning that integrates various aspects of learning using thematic approaches. To achieve aspects of child development optimally, the material presented is explained based on themes and sub-themes. This research method is a qualitative description, this research was conducted in TK Smart Kids. Qualitative data were analyzed using inductive processes with data reduction and data presentation in accordance with themes, and components. The population and sample of this study were children of kindergarten class B Smart Kids, West Bandung Regency. Early childhood creativity can be improved by implementing simple and practical steps in an integrated manner based on integrated learning, through stimulation of creativity learning so the creativity of early childhood can increase eight times higher through real practice making products of creativity. The results of this study are to find out whether children's achievement can be achieved or not. Furthermore, this research is part of the thesis that I will examine.

Abstract

All children have the right to take part in early childhood education learning proccess, in Indonesia especially in remote areas early childhood education is very minimal due to a lack of understanding of the community or parents regarding early childhood education. Early childhood education is held to develop the potential of children in six aspects of development, namely cognitive language, social emotional, art, motoric, religious morality. Every child has different potential with other children, so parents and educators need to understand that children's intelligence is not can be judged from the way he/she reads, writes and counts but seen from all aspects of development one of which is the development of language aspects Language development, preschoolers experience rapid development in vocabulary, grammar and syntax according to Piaget, in normal children, language appears to think as concurrent with the form of semiotic reasoning but to stimulate the development of children's language here by using the visual method of Paper Puppets so that children become more interested and easier to understand learning for Paper Puppets have a variety of models so children's language skills can easily be developed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to illustrate the application of the problem solving approach to improve the mathematical creative thinking ability of MA students. The research method used was an experiment, where subjects in this population were chosen randomly, namely class XI-IPS 1 and class XI-IPS 2 Ma Al Maa`uun Mande Cianjur. In this research, the researcher gives the same treatment to the subject of the researcher to further know the effect of the treatment is the problem solving approach in the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. Mathematics learning using the problem solving approach is more effective in the application of the problem solving approach to improve mathematical creative thinking abilities and the independence of MA students there is a comparison compared to ordinary learning. the application of the problem solving approach to improve the mathematical creative thinking ability of MA students is better than ordinary learning. The magnitude of the increase in students' mathematical creative thinking abilities taught by learning mathematics using the problem solving approach is 81 and ordinary learning is 78. The magnitude of the increase in the independence of mathematical learning of students who are taught mathematics learning problem solving is 83 and ordinary learning is 80.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the activeness of students in mathematics learning for students of SMP Negeri 2 Ngamprah in class VIIIA in the even semester of the 2018/2019 school year through the learning strategy of Snowball Throwing. This research is a class action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of three stages, namely planning, action and observation, and reflection and evaluation. The data obtained in the form of a percentage increase in activity at the end of the first cycle and at the end of the second cycle. The data analysis technique was conducted using an interactive analysis technique. The results showed an increase in student activity. Increased student activity can be seen from the increasing indicators include: 1) the willingness of students to ask before the action 5.55% and after the action 55.55%, 2) the willingness of students to answer questions before the action 11.11% and after the action 72, 22%, 3) the willingness of students to work on exercises in front of the class before the action 0% and after the action 66.66%, 4) the willingness of students to express opinions before the action 0% and after the action 55.55%. Based on the description above it can be concluded that the application of the Snowball Throwing learning strategy in mathematics learning can increase student activity.

Abstract

The aim this study to create a new learning process, that can increase student’s understanding the concept of cell’s material. The purpose of this study was to develop valid, practical and effective biology’s learning media that oriented to concept approach at cell’s material in interactive compact disc (CD) form. The type of this research was the development research. Model and procedure development using 4-D (four-D-Model) without disseminate phase. Phase consists of phase define, design, and develop phase. Define phase involves analysis of curriculum, students, concept, and media. In design phase, the media (interactive CD) that oriented to concept approach was designed based on define phase. In develop phase, the validation of media was done by some experts, and limited testing for students in Senior High School (SMA 2) Sungai Penuh grade XI. The results of the study showed that the interactive CD oriented concept approach was valid. The value of validation was 3,29 whith valid criteria. Conclusion The study is an interactive CD oriented approach to the concept of cell material for class XI otherwise very valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process

Abstract

One of the requirements in teaching English at Junior High Schools is the students are required to get better result in writing kinds of text. However, the fact showed that the students still faced problems in writing. Those problems can be caused because of not all stages of writing process are done. Specifically, the students did not go through and use a certain technique on prewriting stage, thus, they faced problems in expressing their ideas, organizing ideas, and developing good paragraph to produce a text type. Therefore, the researcher conducted an experimental reserach. The purpose of this reserach is to find out whether or not the effect of using questioning technique in pre writing stage toward students’ writing ability. Based research result, it was found that there was significant effect of using questioning technique toward students’ writing ability. Thus, the researcher suggests the English teachers and the students to apply questioning technique in writing process.
