The active learning strategy of the Power of Two type means the active learning strategy which in its application uses the strength learning techniques of two people to increase motivation and learning outcomes. Based on this, this research aims to determine the efforts to improve motivation and learning outcomes through the The Power of Two type in the History Subject at grade X IIS 3 in SMAN 7 Solok Selatan. The research method used was a classroom action research. The research was conducted in SMAN 7 Solok Selatan in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research subjects were 24 students of grade X IIS 3. The researchwas conducted in 3 cycles: planning, action, observation and reflection phase. The data analysis technique consisted of a descriptive and qualitative analysis. The results of the research were as follows (1) The use of the The Power of Two type could increase the motivation of students of grade XI IIS 3 in SMAN 7 Solok Selatan; in the first cycle the motivation for the medium category was 49.72%, increasing to 58.76%; cycle II and cycle III were included in the high category with a percentage of 69.23% and (2) The use of the The Power of Two type could improve student learning outcomes of grade XI IIS 3 in SMAN 7 Solok Selatan. In the first cycle, the mean score of the student learning outcomes was unsatisfactory: 64.58 with a percentage of completeness of 12.5%. Then, the second cycle increased by an mean score of 71.67 with a percentage of completeness of 20.83%% and in the third cycle of 78.75 with a percentage of completeness 87.5%.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the contribution of learning attitudes and learning motivation to the writing skills of exposition students of class XI SMK Negeri 1 Batipuh. This research is a type of cor-relational research. The population of all students of class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Batipuh totaling 187 people and a sample of 65 students. The instruments of this research were questionnaire and performance test. The results of the validity of the student learning attitude questionnaire were declared valid and the results of the reliability test were used reliably / reliable. The technique of analyzing research data uses the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, multiple correlation test, t test, F test, and the determinant coefficient formula. The results of this study are learning attitudes contribute to the writing skills of exposition discourse by 10.0%. The conclusion of the study is the attitude of learning provides a significant positive contribution and relationship to the writing skills of exposition discourse. Learning Indonesian basically aims to enhance students' skills to use language as a communication tool, either orally or in writing. Objectives to be achieved from this paper is to describe the Writing Skills Improvement Method Using Text Description Procedure Writing Guided Graders X2 SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Datar Batipuh, This type of research is classroom action research. The research was conducted in the classroom X2 SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Datar Batipuh, The subjects were students of classX2 SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Datar Batipuh the number of students 23 to 10 women and 13 men, Which is listed on the first semestar academic year 2018/2019. The research data was collected through observation, performance, discussion and documentation. The data obtained in the study using qualitative data analysis model. The results of the study illustrate that; 1) Learning to write descriptions have been implemented in accordance with the plan contained in the RPP assessment form. 2) Learning to write descriptions have been conducted usingMethod Writing Guided Procedure. In the implementation of student learning has been included in full in the process pemebelajaran. 3) a description of the student writing skills to useMethod Guided Writing Procedure improve. This is evident from the student's skills, where the skills of students in the third cycle is higher than on the skills of writing a description on the second cycle. Partners in Service community in Payo Solok District of Lubuk Sikarah are housewives and teenagers drop out of school. The problem faced by the people in the District of Lubuk Sikarah Payo Solok is a lack of knowledge and skills of the communities in the field of fashion, especially in decorating the veil and make accessories. The method used in accordance goals in training. The results of the implementation of the training activities create various accessories that housewives and teenagers (PKK) in Kanagarian Payo Solok, it has the ability and skill in making accessories in various forms by 75%, and the participants have to understand and have base makes a wide range of accessories by 80%. This can be seen from the shape hijab accessories and brooches generated sufficient quality. This is because the participants were seriously and earnestly to follow and activities make hijab accessories. The capacity of the hijab accessories making techniques, participants also have the skill by 85%. Keywords: Hijab Embroidery Training and Accessories

This study aims to develop authentic instruments in the assessment of Digital simulations to measure student learning skills that are practical and effective. This research uses Research and Development with ADDIE development models. Through the stages of analysis (analysis), design (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), evaluation (evaluation). The research subjects were students of class X SMK Negeri 05 Padang, digital simulation subjects. The research data was obtained through validation instrument sheets, practical questionnaires, and observations. The practicality test results show that the authentic assessment that was developed was very practical with the percentage of practicality of teachers on lesson plans being 88.3% and authentic assessments at 82.3%. This developmental research produced an authentic practical and effective assessment instrument that can be used by teachers in assessing students' skills in school in the learning process.

This study aimed to find out the improvement of students’ writing ability of descriptive paragraph through PWIM at second semester of non-English department students in UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The type of this research was classroom action reseacrh which were conducted in two cycles. Every cycle consisted of five meetings; four meetings to do treatments, one meeting for test. The participations were the second semester of Hadith Science students that consisted of 37 students. This research was analyzed by quantitative data; namely, writing tasks and writing tests. The result from cycle I to cycle II showed that PWIM improved students’ writing ability of descriptive paragraph and increased their creativity in writing that could be seen from the activeness and participation of students in the learning process.

This study is intended to produce senior high school students' mathematical worksheets based on valid, practical and effective problem-based instruction. Its effectiveness can be seen from the increase in positive activity and student learning outcomes. It is research and development by using the Plomp model by using three stages, namely the preliminary research, development or prototype phase, and assessment phase. The subjects were students of class X SMAN 1 Lembah Gumanti. The research instruments were interview guidelines, field notes, validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, students’ activity observation sheets and learning achievement tests. This research has produced students’ worksheets that are valid, practical and effective. Students and teachers give a good response of students’ worksheet because it helps them in the learning process. Students can learn efficiently and understand the mathematical concepts easily. Students’ worksheet can also motivate students in learning so that there is enhancement between positive activities and learning outcomes.

The aims from this study observe at the influenceof cooperative learning model group investigation (GI) type and learning motivation on students' ability to understand concepts and solve problems in Mathematics in UPT SMP Negeri Airpura both to the students who had high previous knowledge and those who had low previous knowledge.This was a quasi experimental research. Samples are choose using randomized sample. Data are analyzed using t-test, Mann Whitney test and two Ways Anova using MINITAB software. The result of data analysis showed that : (1) the influenceof cooperative learning model group investigation (GI) type and learning motivation can improve students' MGI skills and still need to improve their ability to understand concepts., (4) there was no interaction between learning approaches and previous knowledge toward the eighth grade students.

This study aims to implement the Numbered Head Togerher (NHT) type of cooperative learning model in social studies subjects for grade VII students of SMPN 40 Padang. This research is an experimental research. Research instruments in the form of tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using ANOVA. The results showed (1) student learning outcomes applied to the NHT type cooperative model were higher than student learning outcomes with conventional methods at SMPN 40 Padang. (2) The learning outcomes of students who have high motivation to learn are higher using NHT type cooperative learning models than students who have low motivation with conventional methods. (3) The learning outcomes of students who have lower learning motivation are higher using conventional learning models higher than using NHT learning models. (4) there is an interaction between the use of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model and motivation in influencing student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in class VII SMPN 40 Padang.

This study aimed to evaluate entrepreneurial learning programs in electronics engineering department at Padang State University engineering faculty in terms of components of context, input, process and product. This study is an evaluation technique using a combination of data analysis (Mixed Method), starting with the use of quantitative methods followed by a qualitative method. Quantitative data was collected using a questionnairE, while that for qualitative data obtained from interviews between investigators and informants were selected. All data obtained will be analyzed by sequential explanatory design. These results indicate that the results of the evaluation in the context of components, inputs and processes that are in good enough category of products while the components are in good category.
