Abstract

This study is focused on the speaking skill of M.Ts. Muhammadiyah students on grade VIII because the writer saw that their speaking skill is still so low. Role-Play is a classroom activity which gives the students the opportunity to practice the language. In this study, the writer used the experimental research design which it needs the pre-test and post-test to know their progress in speaking. In experimental, there are control class (conventional class) and experimental class. The writer have to make the treatment for experimental class so that it can be seen their progress after doing the treatment before taking the post-test. In findings data, the writer has got the score of control and experimental classes’ pre-test; the control class average score is 60 and the experimental class is 63, 47. The post-test score average, control class is 65,21 and experimental class is 81,73. In pre-test, the lowest score either in control class or experimental class is 50 and the highest is 80. In post-test, the lowest score is still 50 and the highest score is still 80 , but in experimental, the lowest score is 70 and the highest score is 90. The value of the t-test is 5.41 and it means that 5,41 > 2.66. Finally, the t-test is higher than t-table for both the significance level. (5.41>2.00 and 5.41>2.66). Abstract

This study aims to describe the discrimination found in Tere-Liye's Amelia novel. To obtain the data used structural theory. The method used in this research is qualitative research method by way of descriptive analysis. The reason the authors use these methods because the authors attempt to describe the discrimination contained in the novel that became the object in this study. Data collection in this research is done by literature review technique and documentation technique. The author uses this documentation technique by reading the data source in the form of a novel with the purpose of identifying the data in accordance with the theory used. After obtaining research data, further analysis of research data is done by content analysis techniques. The process of data analysis is done by mastering and understanding the novel elements, identifying and analyzing discrimination. The results of data analysis show that there is discrimination contained in Tere-Liye's novel Amelia. the discrimination contained in the novel is the attitude of the community that does not allow the youngest child to go to school outside the region, the lack of freedom to express opinions, the youngest child in the family must stay and stay at home. Details of such discrimination have textual data that can prove the correctness of the analysis of the research data that can be proven. Keywords: discrimination, amelia, tere-liye

Abstract

Code-switching is a phenomenon that happening nowadays in daily conversation that used by teenager and adult. It’s occur not only in conversation, social media and networking but also in printed media. This research attempt to know if there any code-switching that used in an english course, the function and who are the user of it. This research subject consist of 3 students and an english teacher. The data consist of audio-recordings of authentic teacher and student conversation held in the English course. From the result of the research: There is function of code-switching in an English course, the functions of code-switching in an English course are happen to change in situation and the teacher is the most participants who used code-switching in an English course. Abstract

The simulation approach begins with the development of a real system model. The model should be able to show how the various components in the system interact so that it really describes the behavior of the system. The RLC circuit is either a circuit connected with parallel or in series, but the circuit must consist of a capacitor; inductor; and resistors. RLC naming itself also has its own reasons, namely due to the name of the electrical symbol is usually on the capacitance; inductance and resistance respectively. Abstract

This study aims to reveal: Influence Leadership, Competence, and Cultural Organization partially and imultan to the performance of lecturers STMIK / AMIK Royal Kisaran. In the current era of golabalisasi, promotional activities are very important to be able to market products / services to the general public, namely using a modern marketing concept known as e-Commerce system (online marketing). The research objective of applying e-commerce services in marketing Laras Florist services is expected to be achieved, namely (1) Designing a system that can perform analysis and data processing related to promotional activities. Abstract

This research was done to predict the cumulative achievement index of students STMIK Royal Kisaran is based on students' academic history at the time of senior high school. This research will inform the student for early anticipation in following the lecture in order to get the maximum learning. The method used in solving this problem is by the method Decission tree C.45 algorithm starts from the formation of the decision system as preliminary data have attribute values and decision condition. Then calculate the entropy of each attribute. Calculating the highest gain value which would then be used as nodes. Determining Following the decision of the result tree Decission process using if-then logic begins from the highest to the root of the lowest roots. This research resulted in 7 pieces of pattern rules (rule) as a basis for predicting student achievement of learning outcomes. Keywords: data mining, algorithm C.45, learning Outcomes.

Informasi mengenai lokasi bengkel sepeda motor yang akurat menjadi sesuatu yang penting bagi setiap pengendara. Oleh karena itu, perlu suatu sistem yang dapat membantu pencarian dan pendataan lokasi bengkel sepeda motor serta dapat memberikan informasi yang lengkap dan cukup akurat. Abstract

Saat ini banyak masyarakat yang menjadikan hewan sebagai binatang peliharaan. Diantara berbagai macam hewan yang bisa dijadikan hewan peliharaan, kucing termasuk salah satu hewan yang banyak dijadikan sebagai peliharaan bagi manusia. Penggemar kucing juga terbilang banyak diberbagai dunia khususnya di Indonesia. Sebagian pemelihara kucing tidak mengetahui tentang cara merawat dan mengetahui gejala-gejala penyakit yang terjadi pada kucing. Hal ini tentu sangat membahayakan bagi kucing jika menderita penyakit kronis, dan pemilik tidak mengetahuinya sehingga mengakibatkan kematian pada kucing tersebut. Untuk mengatasinya dibuat suatu sistem pendukung pakar. Salah satu cabang ilmu komputer yang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh manusia untuk membantu pekerjaannya adalah pembentukan sistem pakar yang merupakan salah satu sub bidang ilmu kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence).
