Abstract

Aceh Jaya regency becomes the best patchouli producing area in Aceh. Patchouli oil levels produced above 30 percent make patchouli produced in Aceh Jaya have high economic value. This condition should be able to increase the passion of patchouli distillation industry in Aceh Jaya Regency. However, the development of the patchouli distillation industry cannot be separated from the role of labor and investment in the industry. This study aims to analyze the role of labor and investment to production of patchouli distillation industry in Aceh Jaya Regency. The sample in this study was 51 micro and small scale patchouli distillation industries in Aceh Jaya Regency. This study uses multiple regression analysis. The result of estimation shows that investment significantly gives positive influence to production patchouli distillation in Aceh Jaya Regency while labor insignificantly influents to production of patchouli distillation industry in Aceh Jaya Regency. Thus, local government and relevant agencies have to be able to increase the interest of investor and gives training both managerial and technical to increase the workers’ quality of patchouli distillation industry in Aceh Jaya Regency.

Abstract

Petani padi sebagai pengelola usaha tani sampai saat ini belum mendapatkan hasil dan pendapatan yang diharapkan baik dari sisi petani itu sendiri maupun dari pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha tani padi dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usaha tani padi di Desa Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Alasan pemilihan lokasi ini dikarenakan desa ini merupakan penerima bantuan benih dari Sekolah Lapangan Pertanian Tanaman Terpadu dimana terdapat 160 petani yang menggunakan benih Ciherang. Jumlah petani yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 petani dan variabel yang diuji adalah biaya tenaga kerja, biaya pupuk phonska, biaya pupuk SP, biaya pupuk KCl, biaya pestisida, luas lahan, biaya pupuk urea, biaya pupuk ZA dan harga benih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani memiliki R/C ratio sebesar 3,27 yang menunjukkan bahwa usaha tani ini layak. Sedangkan variabel biaya tenaga kerja, biaya pupuk KCl dan biaya pupuk urea berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan usaha tani padi, sedangkan variabel lain tidak berpengaruh. Subsidi pupuk dan bantuan benih merupakan kebijakan pemerintah yang sangat meringankan petani dalam pembiayaan usaha taninya sehingga kebijakan ini harus terus dijalankan dan diawasi dalam pelaksanaannya dalam upaya peningkatan pendapatan petani padi.

Abstract

The motivation of farmers in adopting groundnut cultivation technology, especially relay cropping patterns technology of corn and groundnut on dry land is relatively low. The study aims to determine the motivation of farmers in adopting groundnut cultivation technology that can increase farmers' incomes. The study was conducted in Labangka Subdistrict, Sumbawa Regency from December 2016 until August 2017 using survey approach. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, recording, and in-depth interviews with respondents. The sample population who adopted corn relay cropping pattern with groundnuts was 276 people. Determination of the sample of respondents was purposive as many as 40 people. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the motivation of farmers in adopting technology was 79,29%. The adoption rate of groundnut technology components was 81,39%. Net income level or profitability of groundnut farming produced in the rainy season averages Rp 9.967.500/ha with an R/C Ratio of 2,65. Net income level or profitability of groundnut farming cultivated in the dry season averages of Rp 8.517.000/ha with an R/C ratio of 3,34. The R/C ratio value is more than 1 on groundnut farming that are cultivated in rainy season or in dry season are feasible to be cultivated because it can provide benefits and high income.

Abstract

The Wootay Coconut Company is a company engaged in the field of coconut production which was established in 2018. The coconut production process changes the primary form into a new product with higher economic value after going through processing, and can provide added value due to costs incurred so that prices are formed new higher and greater profits when compared without going through processing. This research aims to determine the characteristics, added value and level of income of Wootay Coconut company, Teon Nila Serua Subdistrict, Central Maluku Regency. The method used is the measurement of added value based on the Hayami method, then the analysis of income for coconut raw material products.  The results of the study showed that the added value in Copra was IDR 2,600, - value added ratio of 42.62%. Nata De Coco small size added value of IDR 311,100, - the ratio of value added 99.33% while for large size added value of  IDR 296,191.68, - value added ratio of 90.30%. Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) small size of IDR 515,250, - value added ratio of 99.33%, medium size of value added of IDR 577,500, - the ratio of value added 99.40% while the large size of the added value of IDR 634,960.9, - value added ratio of 99.45% of the production value. The overall income of the Wotay Coconut Company generates a monthly net income of  IDR 55,117,833.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of agricultural land tenure status on rainfed lowland rice production in Banyumas Regency. One of the most important factors of production affecting the production of rainfed lowland rice is the land used. This study used  survey method by taking primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained through a list of questions that have been prepared, while secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies. The sampling method is carried out by stratified random sampling. Each stratum of the sample is drawn with a total sample of 50 farmer respondents. Data were analyzed used one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA). The results of this study indicated that the amount of rainfed lowland rice production in Banyumas District showed significant difference between farmers who were not owners and farmers who own land. Non-owner farmers get an average production yield greater than those of farmers who own rainfed lowland rice in Banyumas Regency.

Abstract

Inflation greatly affects the regional economy. It can be enlarge positively and negatively. When considering a high area it has negative influence, which is considered to have an influence. If in a low area, it must be something positive that can be encourage improvement for the better. This study aims to analyze the majority of changes in food prices to conversion in Medan. The data used in this study are time series data from January 2014 to August 2019, the data used are secondary data consisting of the development of monthly food  prices and data analysis method used is VAR or VECM analysis. The result showed, in the short term inculding several variables that influence the price of rice one month earlier, the price of rice two months before, the price of red chili one month before, the price of red chili two months before, the price of cayenne pepper one month before, the price of cayenne pepper two month before, The price of onion two month before, the price of garlic two months before, one better variable length is a red chili.

Abstract

The poultry industry, especially broilers is the basis of the people's economy which has high potential in increasing inclusive economic growth. In addition, it can also be studied from the product distribution side, from the point of producer to the end consumer. One of the companies engaged in the production of broiler broilers is PT SUJ. The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of farmer and company supply chains using the Supply Chain Operational Reference (SCOR) model approach with regard to internal and external attributes. The results showed that PT SUJ has four institutions involved in marketing broiler chickens, namely breeder partners, companies, brokers / agents and consumers. For measuring supply chain performance, the results of measuring the performance of broiler broiler supply chains at the level of partner farmers on the attributes of responsiveness and flexibility have achieved the best performance position (superior). However, for the attributes of reliability and assets are still at the level of advantage. Meanwhile, the value of chicken supply chain performance for the broiler company level on the attributes of reliability, responsiveness and flexibilty has achieved the best performance (superior). However, for attributes the company's assets only achieve a good position (advantage). Generally, the performance of broiler chicken supply chains is good at the farmer and company level.

Abstract

Usahatani udang windu merupakan usaha yang memiliki potensi yang besar karena harga jual yang cenderung stabil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan usahatani udang windu, untuk mengetahui risiko produksi, harga dan pendapatan usahatani udang windu. Penelitian dilakukan di Kelurahan Belawan Sicanang Kecamatan Medan Belawan Kota Medan. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 petambak. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keuntungan yang diperoleh setiap musim tanam sebesar Rp. 3.038.955/ha/ musim tanam. Analisis risiko produksi menunjukkan bahwa koefisien variasi produksi sebesar 0,19 dengan batas bawah sebesar 49,99. Analisis risiko harga menunjukkan bahwa koefisien variasi harga sebesar 0,19 dengan batas bawah sebesar 58.051. Analisis risiko pendapatan menunjukkan bahwa koefisien variasi pendapatan sebesar 0,48 dengan batas bawah sebesar 124.489 dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa petambak udang windu tidak mengalami risiko terhadap produksi, harga dan pendapatan.

Abstract

Analysis of non-hierarchical clustering can applicable on grouping production of agricultural field, especially paddy production. The objective of this study was to khow information about potency of region on paddy production in Province of Sumatera Utara. The method of this study was used anaysis of non-hierarchical clustering with conducted of cluster. K-means analysis was used for partition of data to several cluster. The result of this studi shows that was successed grouping on three (3) cluster of paddy production in Province of Sumatera Utara, i.e low praduction. middle production and high productioan. The different of paddy praduction on the several district/city in Sumatera Utara affected by area and productivity of land.Keywords: analysis cluster, K-means, Production, paddy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji peran komoditi perkebunan rakyat unggulan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat dan pelestarian lingkungan di kawasan Batang Lubuh Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan location quotient (LQ), dengan data sekunder time series 2015-2020. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan,  komoditi perkebunan rakyat unggulan yang terdapat di kabupaten Rokan Hulu terdiri atas 3 (tiga) jenis komoditi yaitu; komoditi karet, kopi dan kemiri,  untuk mengembangkan komoditi perkebunan rakyat unggulan sangat diperlukan peran Pemerintah dalam upaya peningkatan produktifitas secara spesifik melalui berbagai program,  pengembangan komoditi perkebunan rakyat unggulan akan berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan masyarawat dikawasan Sungai Batang Lubuh di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, selain sebagai sumber pendapatan masyarakat komoditi perkebunan rakyat unggulan ini berperan penting dalam pelestarian alam di kawasan sungai batang lubuh kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan; pemerintah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, harus melakukan peningkatan produktifitas yang lebih fokus pada komoditi perkebunan rakyat unggulan melalui berbagai program  yang didukung dengan perbaikan teknologi usahatani dan teknologi budidaya, pengembangan infrastruktur, pemerintah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, harus melakukan berbagai pelatihan kepada petani yang mengelola perkebunan rakyat,  pemerintah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, harus melakukan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat dalam rangka meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat di wilayah ini,  pemerintah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, harus mendukung dan mengarahkan masyarakat dalam rangka pelestarian kawasan Sungai Batang Lubuh dengan berbasis kearifan lokal.
