Abstract

Rubber (Hevea brasiliensis Muel Arg.) is a commodity that make country devisa .the goverment have decided the development of national rubber policy from increasing clon using to more than 85% with minimal productivity rate 1500 kg/ha.Purpose of the research is to know the strength/weakness and chance/threat also to analisys the development of rubber clon material for citizen rubber agribuisness  in North Sumatera province. North Sumatera province have strength in development of rubber clon material  for citizen rubber agribuisness such as have plantation resource, goverment support, rubber farmer resource, and  have weakness in seeds resource root stock. Entres resource and the currency control by the charge agency. The cost of the natural rubber is much better now, high request for excellent rubber seeds, in globalisation trading era have chance in development rubber clon material for citizen rubber agribuisness in notrh sumatera province and have threat such as the competition with palm oil commodity, rubber seeds marketing system that not yet efficient also the investation that not fully condusif. The priority strategic in development of excellent rubber clon material  for citizen rubber agribuisness in north sumatera province is : 1) rubber entres plantation seeds resource investation and purification entres plantation 2) investation and determine seeds resource plantation for root stock,  3) to build the plantation of rubber entres seeds resource in central location of the contruction for citizen rubber plantation 4) increasing quality seeds control by the charge agency. Key words : excellent clon, rubber entres, rubber agribuisness

Abstract

The landscape changed of palm oil plantation PTPN III (Persero) Afdeling I became The Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone (SEZ), it gaves essential impact to the basic problems divided the households livelihood of casual workers (BHL)  palm oil plantation in the Sei Mangkei village. This study was illustrated the resilience of the BHL households livelihood in the Sei Mangkei village. This paper aims to measured community resilience of a landscape changed afdeling I PTPN III (Persero) to divided Sei Mangkei SEZ. Analysis of livelihood resilience used a concept of rules is called an index, resilience indicators and households resilience were then collected through questionnaires. The respondent are many 30 BHL households,  the sampling located at Sei Mangkei Village. From the calculation of the index has been obtained that result households resilience index a value of 0,35. That means livelihood resilience of BHL household is low when there has been a landscape change at afdeling I divided Sei Mangkei SEZ

Abstract

Meningkatnya permintaan pasar internasional terhadap jagung untuk bahan baku pembuatan biofuel untuk memenuhi kebutuhan lokal akan pakan ternak dan mendukung ketahanan pangan memungkinkan pengembangan komoditi jagung di kabupaten Karo lebih meningkatPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan komoditi jagung dalam peningkatan penerimaan wilayah kabupaten Karo, besar penerimaan wilayah kabupaten Karo dari komoditas jagung dan apakah komoditi jagung dapat dijadikan sebagai komoditas basis. Penerimaan wilayah dari komoditi jagung diamati dalam kurun waktu 2001-2005. Untuk mengetahui komoditas jagung dapat dijadikan sebagai komoditas basis dibandingkan antara penerimaan wilayah dari komoditas jagung dengan pendapatan wilayah (PDRB) sedangkan angka pengganda pendapatan diketahui dari perbandingan penerimaan non basis dan pendapatan wilayah (PDRB). Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh diketahui pengembangan komoditi jagung di kabupaten Karo memberikan kontribusi terhadap paningkatan pendapatan wilayah sebesar 6,l 4%. Pengusahaan komoditi jagung merupakan sektor basis dan angka pengganda pendapatan berpengaruh terhadap penerimaan wilayah.Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, Jagung, Penerimaan Wilayah, Sektor Basis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of marketing channels, marketing functions in each channel marketing, marketing costs, share margins and price spread on each channel as well as the level of efficiency in the coffee marketing District Humbang Hasundutan. This study was carried on in the district as one of Humbang Hasundutan coffee production center in North Sumatra. The set of ten districts in three districts namely purporsif Lintong Nihuta districts, and a bun Dolok Sanggul, Paranginan as coffee producing districts in the District Humbang Hasundutan. This study uses field observation questionnaire and interviews, from three districts defined population of 93 coffee farmers randomly selected, 63 village traders, merchants 15 district level, district 6 merchants and traders 5 provinces (exporters). The model used data analysis is descriptive and quantitative analysis. The results showed that there are four (4) copies of marketing channels District Humbang Hasundutan, Channel Marketing I : Farmers - Traders Village - District of Traders - Traders District - Traders Province/exporters, Channel Marketing II : Farmers - District of Traders - Traders district - Traders Province/ exporters, Marketing Channels III : Farmers - Merchant District - Traders Province/exporters, Marketing Channels IV : Farmers - Merchants Province/ exporters. Each institution plays the marketing of at least 4 functions, from the existing 4 channel 3 channel turns out to have a good level of efficiency compared to most other 3 channels because of the small value of marketing efficiency. Keywords :   Coffee Marketing, Channel Marketing, Marketing Costs, Marketing Margins, Price Spread and Marketing Efficiency.

Abstract

One of the fishing activity is increased and is relied upon in the future by the Deli Serdang Regency is the brackish water aquaculture, such as shrimp. The land use of shrimp farms can be replace the role of fishing is estimated to have exceeded the allowable catch, especially on the East Coast of Sumatra in the coastal of Deli Serdang Regency. The development of farm land was centered in Hamparan Perak District. There is supported with specific aquatic environment, to be located in the coastal region of Deli Serdang Regency. By the optimal and sustainable management, the potential of pond at Hamparan Perak District is expected to contribute an adequate production in accordance with the carrying capacity of the region . The purpose of the study was to determine the shrimp farm income in Paluh Manan and Lama Villages at Hamparan Perak District, and to find out the feasibility of the shrimp farming in the Paluh Manan and Lama Villages at Hamparan Perak District. This study will be conducted in the Paluh Manan and Lama Villages at Hamparan Perak District for two months from January 2011 to March 2011. Based on the analysis and discussion that has been concluded that: the difference in the average of expansive farm land, number of labor, farming seeding, farming feed, drugs farm, and farm profits. The value of total profit at Lama Village obtained is Rp . 20.574.275 and at Paluh Manan Village is Rp. 13.395.954. From the comparison of the farm income in the shrimp pond at Lama and Paluh Manan Villages, the greater income is the farming at Lama Village. The difference average total farm profits of the shrimp pond at Lama Village and Paluh Manan Village is Rp. 7.178.321. Keywords : farming, food, shrimp

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meramalkan produksi kedelai di Sumatera Utara tahun 2016-2019.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). Data deret waktu (time series) yang digunakan pada kajian ini adalah data produksi kedelai Provinsi Sumatera Utara tahun 2005-2015. Penggunaan model ARIMA dalam peramalan produksi kedelai Sumatera Utara menggunakan tiga tahapan analisis yaitu, pertama adalah identifikasi struktur model; kedua, estimasi dan kalibrasi model, dan terakhir adalah pengujian dan validasi model. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan sebagai alat bantu analisis model ARIMA ini adalah Minitab 18. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model yang terbaik digunakan untuk peramalan produksi kedelai adalah model (0,1,1). Penerapan model arima pada produksi kedelai Sumatera Utara untuk 4 tahun berikutnya mengalami penurunan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan pendapatan usaha pembuatan tempe dengan tahu di Kota Langsa Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan Metode Survei (Survey Method) dan dilaksanakan di Kota Langsa. Objek penelitian ini adalah pengusaha tempe dan tahu di Kota Langsa. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini meliputi produksi, harga, biaya produksi, nilai produksi dan pendapatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengusaha tempe dan tahu yang berada di Kota Langsa yang berjumlah 21 usaha. Sampel diambil dengan teknik pengambilan sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan pengusaha tempe adalah sebesar Rp. 19.927.897/bulan, sedangkan rata-rata biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan oleh pengusaha tahu dalam produksinya adalah sebesar Rp. 16.157.541/bulan. Selisih biaya produksi usaha tempe dan tahu adalah Rp. 3.770.357/bulan atau 23,33%. Rata-rata nilai produksi pengusaha tempe adalah sebesar Rp. 27.461.538/bulan, sedangkan rata-rata nilai produksi pengusaha tahu adalah sebesar Rp. 20.812.500/bulan. Rata-rata pendapatan bersih pengusaha pembuatan tempe untuk penggunaan bahan baku kedelai sebesar 1000 Kg kedelai yang diolah pengusaha tempe adalah Rp. 3.956.930 dan pengusaha tahu adalah Rp. 2.998.866.

Abstract

Subsidized fertilizer is one of the means of production is the availability of subsidized by the government to farmers and Retail Price (MRP) was regulated by Government Regulation. 87 / Permentan / SR.130 / 12/2011. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of factors as price, distance, number of requirements, and policies for the smooth distribution of subsidized fertilizer distribution and to determine the constraints faced by farmers in obtaining subsidized fertilizer. The experiment was conducted in North Sumatra province Simalungun. This region is determined by purposive sampling. The consideration is that the study site is an area of crop production centers and one of the largest users of fertilizers in North Sumatra. The population in this study is that farmers receiving subsidized fertilizer in the village Purbaganda. Total population is 328 families with a total sample of 30 families. Data were analyzed using analysis of X² (Chi Square). The results showed that the factors that affect the smooth distribution of subsidized fertilizer is the price factor and the time distribution of fertilizer policy.While the distance factor and the factors determining fertilizer requirements do not affect the level of the smooth distribution of fertilizers. Constraints faced by farmers in the smooth distribution of subsidized fertilizer prices among other factors, the time distribution of fertilizer policies and lack of venture capital to the farmers as well as non optimal preparation of Definitive Plan of Group ( RDKK ) at the level of the farmer groups

Abstract

This research used descriptive and qualitative methods, with 3 samples of tempe entrepreneurs. The analytical tools are marketing channel analysis, marketing margin, marketing efficiency , and SWOT. The average age of producer is 35 years with an average education level is 12 years. The results of marketing channel analysis consist of II type, which is channel I from producer to retailer then the consumer. Channel II from the manufacturer directly to the consumer and is on the order of the highest efficiency. The producer performs all marketing functions except for the purchase function. While retailers only perform the functions of purchasing, sales, storage, financing, and market information. Price spread and share margin marketing agency on the channel I am the average price of producers per pack starting from Rp 800/100 gram and Rp 1,500/200 gram. Component manufacturer cost Rp 635.9/100 gram and Rp 981,8/200 gram. Production Margin Rp 164,1/100 gram and Rp 518,2/200 gram. Production profit margin ratio of 0.3/100 grams and 0.5/200 grams. The selling price of retailers for consumers is Rp 1,009,7/100 grams and Rp 2,009,7/200 grams. With marketing costs Rp 7.5/pack. A retail profit margin of Rp 202.1/100 gram and Rp 502,1/200 gram. Retail profit margin ratio of 31.5/100 grams and 78.3/200 grams. Components share the producer cost margin of 63%/100 grams and 48.9%/200 grams. It is also known that the largest total cost margin share is issued by retailers 0.7%/100 grams and 0.4%/200 grams. The retail profit margin is 20%/100 grams and 25%/200 grams. On channel II the marketing margin is Rp 0/pack. Average manufacturer price of Rp 800/100 gram and Rp 1,500/200 gram. Costs incurred by producers Rp 635.9/100 gram and Rp 981,8/200 gram. Profit margin ratio is 0.3/100 gram, profit margin ratio is 0.5/200 gram, producer margin share 100%, producer profit margin 16.2% / 100 gram and 25,8% / 200 gram. SWOT analysis of the internal-external matrix on tempe industry business is in quadrant I, then the marketing strategy applied in this quadrant is SO (Strength-Opportunities).Keywords: Marketing Strategy, Tempe, Sei Mencirim, SWOT

Abstract

In order to develop the resilient agricultural be required the professional agricultural officers, creative , innovative , and trustworthy in the field setting, counseling services and appropriate qualifications and specifications necessary for the development of sustainable agriculture. Productivity is influenced by individual, social work environment, and work conditions factors. Creativity is influenced by encouragement from outside the self, such as control or supervision by the leadership and service provided a relevant agencies. The aims of this study are to analyze (1) the influence of the supervision by the Food Security and Agricultural Counseling (BKPLUH) on the productivity of agricultural instructur, (2) the effect of the service provided by the Food Security and Agricultural Counseling (BKPLUH) on the productivity of agricultural instructur, (3) the influence of supervision and services provided by the Food Security and Agricultural Counseling (BKPLUH)  on the productivity of agricultural instructur. The results shows that the positive effect between control and productivity of 0.269 but is very weak at only 0,072 at 5 percent confidence level. There is a positive effect between BKPLUH services on the productivity of 0.583 and strength are approximately 0.383 with a confidence level of 5 percent. There is positive effect of BKPLUH supervision and services on the work productivity for 0.017 and 0.584. Keywords : Agricultural Counseling, Productivity, Supervision
