Abstract

Corn is a plant that is widely planted in tropical regions due to the way the planting and maintenance is not so difficult and not expensive, in addition to providing food for a large part of people in a nation, corn is also a raw material for the industry. Corn crop farm is one of the food farming business that became an option for farmers in karo District given the natural conditions that apply to plant corn. The purpose of thus research is to know the influence of land and price of production towards the production of corn in karo District in 2015. The analysis data used an analysis of multiple linear regression. The result show that land area affected production meanwhile corn price was not affectedKeywords: broad harvest, production price , production.

Abstract

Corn is a food that referred the most essential after rice in the lives of people in Indonesia. In addition to human consumption, corn is also an ingredient for the production of animal feed that was active when the noodles into agribusiness mover. However, the issue of development of maize production in Indonesia is still importing noodles and outside negeni to meet domestic needs. Factors Natural Resources (SDA) and the weather elements such as precipitation, air temperature and humidity play a role in influencing the level of productivity of maize.The purpose of the study was to determine the extent of precipitation , air temperature and humidity affect the productivity of maize in the district of Langkat. The benefit is as a source of information and economic development of the agricultural sector, to increase farmers' income and GDP corn Langkat through more effective management system den efficiently on natural resources , weather and climate.Rainfall is ideal for corn is between 100-200 mm per month with distnibusi evenly. Growth of corn plants so the response to sunlight and moisture content in the atmosphere . The combination of weather factors between rainfall, air temperature and humidity ideal will lead to increased productivity of maize over the maximum.Sources of data were taken and the Department of Agriculture Langkat , the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Langkat, Sampali Climatological Station and Office Center for Meteorology and Geophysics Region I Field. Processing methods with the computer program SPSS version 19 using analysis regeresi linear equations, test "F", test "t", the coefficient of determination R2 and significant . The analysis showed that rainfall , air temperature and humidity have a significant effect on the level of productivity of maize in the region Langkat. Abstract

Corn is a commodity whose role is increasingly important both as a food or raw materials of food industry, as well as animal feed raw materials, and a multipurpose commodity which has a lot of derivative products when processed estimated 2-3% for domestic consumption and the rest for the industry even overseas corn used as a biofuel. The are very big demand of global for the corn, with a huge potential increase in supply and demand world, it is estimated that there are great opportunities to develop agribusiness corn in North Sumatra.The are very big potential on corn development at North Sumatra, but the real production of corn is still far below its demand, so that the corn needs are not always met. The corn agribusiness development at Karo Regency is expected to boost the regional economy, rural employment, increase the farmers' income. The corn cultivation had influence on regional development in Karo Regency, the increase in income area with an average contribution of 6.14%. The corn cultivation at Karo Regency is the economic basis based on income indicators. Keywords : Corn, GDP, production.

Abstract

Each company will always strive to be have human resources fully engaged to effort of produce high productivity and achieve those objectives. This study aimed to determine the effect of skills, wages, motivation and work environment on employee productivity PT.Industri Karet Nusantara, and to find out how much each of these factors can affect employee productivity. PT.Industri Karet Nusantara have 45 employees at the same time as the sample population in this study. Data was collected using methods questionnaire and subsequent observations, further descriptively analyze . The results showed that the skills, wages, motivation, and work environment has an influence on Productivity of employees at PT. Industri Karet Nusantara Medan. Contribution of these factors can affect the productivity of employees by 73,2% and 26,8%  influenced by other factors that are not revealed in this study. Keywords : Work produktivity, Skill, Motivation, Wages and Working environment

Abstract

Hutan rakyat adalah hutan yang tumbuh di atas tanah yang dibebani hak milik (UU No. 41/1999). Hutan rakyat telah memberikan manfaat baik secara ekonomi, lingkungan, maupun sosial budaya. Berdasarkan taksiran potensi kayu di Nagori Raya Huluan dan Dusun Marubun Pane, potensi hutan rakyat di Kabupaten Simalungun tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata sekitar 398,84 m3/ha dan lebih besar potensinya bila dibandingkan dengan potensi per hektar untuk seluruh jenis tanaman kayu dari hutan alam di Propinsi Sumatera Utara yaitu sebesar 142,48 m3/ha. Potensi hutan yang rakyat yang tinggi menjadikan hasil dari hutan rakyat sebagai salah satu sumber pendapatan yang penting bagi rumah tangga. Meskipun pendapatan dari hutan rakyat bukan sebagai pendapatan utama namun pendapatan dari hutan rakyat telah memberikan kontribusi rata-rata 31 % terhadap pendapatan total rumah tangga.Kata Kunci : potensi, hutan rakyat, kontribusi, pendapatan, Simalungun

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan emnganalisis pengaruh implementasi Out Bond terhadap efektifitas dan tingkat koordinasi kerja karyawan PT Garuda Indonesia (studi kasus Divisi Personalia). Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode sampling jenuh (sensus). Data-data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang diberikan kepada karyawan Divisi Personalia. Data-data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistic, yaitu analisis regresi liner berganda Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa materi Out Bond dan variabel instruktur berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja karyawan, sedangkan variabel motivasi peserta Out Bond dan variabel sarana: dan prasarana tidak signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap efektivitas kerja karyawan. Variabel motivasi peserta Out Bond, sarana dan prasarana berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Tingkat Koordinasi Kerja Karyawan, sedangkan variabel materi Out Bond dan variabel instruktur berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Tingkat Koordinasi Kerja Karyawan. Pada penelitian ini Out Bond yang terdiri atas variabel motivasi peserta Out Bond, materi Out Bond, instruktur, sarana dan prasarana berpengaruh terhadap Efektivitas dan Tingkat Koordinasi Kerja Karyawan. Variabel materi Out Bond dan variabel instruktur merupakan variabel yang dominan terhadap. Efektivitas Kerja Karyawan serta variabel motivasi peserta Out Bond, sarana dan prasarana merupakan variabel yang dominan terhadap Tingkat Koordinasi Kerja Karyawan. Keywords: out bond, efektivitas, tingkat kordinasi kerja

Abstract

This research is aim to review the influence of effective communication and motivation towards employee performance at Transportation Department Karo District. The sum of population of this research is about 46 people and all of them is created as sample or total sample. To test the hypothesis which is submitted can be done by partial testing, simultaneous testing and coefficient of determination.The result of this research shows that in partial way, the variable of effective communication and motivation is significantly influence the perfomance employee at Transportation Department Karo district, where tcalculated value in variable of communication is 2,253 and tcalculated value in variable of movation is 4,359, wherever the value of t table is 1,679. By simulataneous testing way, Fcalculated is obtained with 19,582 and the value of Ftable is 3,204. It can be concluded that by simultaneous testing way, variable of effective communication and motivation is significantly influence the employee performance too at Transportation Department Karo district. The result of multiple linier regression  is obtained by the equation y = 8,638 + 0,246x1 + 0,521x2 + e.The value of coefficient of determination stated that 0,477 or 47,70 % of employee performance in Transportation Department Karo district is influenced by effective communication and motivation and the rest 52,30 % is influenced by another factor which is not conducted on this research.

Abstract

Salah satu sektor perikanan yang memiliki potensial tinggi adalah udang. Udang mampu dikembangkan sebagai produk bernilai tambah. Perusahaan perikanan PT Missaja Mitra yang berada di Provinsi Pati Jawa Tengah adalah perusahaan yang mampu membuat produk dalam bentuk udang beku berbalut roti, yang biasa disebut dengan panko ebi. Dalam operasionalnya, menganut manajemen sistem untuk menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas. Suatu cara untuk menjaga keamanan pangan adalah dengan melakukan penerapan sistem manajemen keamanan pangan yang disebut sebagai HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point). Dalam melakukan kajian HACCP dilakukan dengan menggunakan buku panduan penyusunan rencana HACCP yang menganut 7 prinsip.  Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa yang ditetapkan sebagai CCP adalah pada tahap proses penerimaan bahan baku dan pengecekan logam (metal detector).  Pada semua lini bahwa CCP mendapatkan pengawasan yang optimal. Dalam melaksanakan operasional manajemen HACCP, salah satu prosedur dan tindakan yang dianggap efektif atas penerapan HACCP adalah adanya kegiatan verifikasi. Kesesuaian dalam penerapan sistem HACCP yang diharapkan adalah mampu meningkatkan mutu atau kualitas dalam produk yang dihasilkan. Karena adanya pengembangan sistem penjaminan keamanan pangan atau makanan secara keseluruhan adalah sesuatu yang menjadi persyaratan dalam industri makanan.

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) have achieved and increase the level of sales through the provision of best quality rubber accordance to International standards, provide good service and high satisfaction in maintaining and sustaining the consumer in order not to switch to other competitors. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The result show that product quality, quality of service and customer satisfaction has a positive coefficient sign. This means that the improvement of product quality, service quality and customer satisfaction will increase the level of sales.Kata Kunci: Product, Service, Satisfaction, Quality

Abstract

Dairi Regency producing a variety of agricultural commodities, both from the plantation sector as well as food crops and horticulture. The role of the agricultural sector is very important so that the economy of Dairi Regency is very dependent on the agribusiness sector. The research aims to determine the business channel and functions of each agency channel business administration in coffee marketing at Dairi Regency. To analyzing the spread of marketing costs, price spread and share margin on each channel in coffee trading system at Dairi Regency. Analyze the efficiency of coffee marketing on each channel at Dairi Regency, and analyze the differences in the farmers' acceptance of each channel in the coffee marketing at Dairi Regency. The results showed that the marketing system consists of a three channel. The channel I showed that farmers sell the coffee with half dry skin directly to exporters at a price of Rp. 6.000,-/kg, than exporters sell the dry coffee at a price of Rp . 14.000/kg. The channel II shows that the semi-dried coffee farmers sell to local traders at a price of Rp. 13.100/kg, the next half-dried coffee beans are sold to exporters at a price of Rp. 13.900/kg, by removing exporters / dry coffee sells at a price of Rp. 29.300/kg. The channel III shows that farmers sell the coffee beans half-dried to the district collector for Rp. 11,600/kg, then semi-dried coffee sold to local traders at a price of Rp. 12,300/kg, and half dried beans sold to exporters at a price of Rp. 13.100/kg. by exporters release / sell the dry coffee at a price of Rp. 29.300/kg.
