Abstract

The object of this study is the inventory system of manufacturing companies with sock products in Tangerang, Banten. Types of socks produced are plain white socks, black socks, and small socks. This study aims to determine the description of the planning and control of raw material inventory and find out how much raw materials to be prepared as well as the total cost of production produced by applying the method of Material Requirement Planning from the production process. In its production activities, the company uses 4 main raw materials making white socks namely Polyester White yarn, Spandex, Nylon, and Rubber. In one day, production produces 3 dozen socks. The raw materials used are 1 cone yarn for 2.5 dozen. So to produce 3 dozen socks a day, it takes 1.2 cone threads. From the analysis, it is known that the booking fee is Rp.28000 per message and the storage fee is Rp.2000 per unit per year. Thus the value of economic needs or Economic Order Quantity generated is 157 units. Thus, for Polyester White yarn material (75%) requires 47.1 cones, Spandex yarn (15%) requires 9,42 cones, nylon yarn (5%) and rubber yarn (5%) equally require 3.14 cone. Set up fee Rp.156586 while the storage fee Rp.157000 so the total cost Rp.313586.Keywords: Socks, Material Requirement Planning, Economic Quantity

Abstract

A good company is a company that is responsive to market changes and opportunities by utilizing existing data and information. Company data and information can come from internal or external sources. One of the internal data sources that can be utilized is customer data. This data will be used as the basis for determining customer segmentation. Segmentation is a process to determine customer characteristics with certain similarities, making it easier to extract information related to profitable customers. Customer business behavior can be seen from recency (last transaction period), frequency (number of transactions), and monetary (rupiah issued) or known as RFM analysis. The effective RFM analysis helps achieve the implementation of customer relationship management because this model is an important facility in measuring the profitability of customer value. To consider this RFM model, researchers use clustering which assumes that customers are in the same cluster, then consider customers with customers in the cluster. This clustering will display customer segmentation. This clustering method uses K-Means clustering. From the results of data processing, 3 clusters were formed from 25 customer data. Based on the clusters formed, it can be concluded that customer purchases have a different pattern. Clusters included in the segment of potential customers are cluster 1. Clusters are needed to get customers who previously had low R, high F, and high M values. While the strategy that needs to be improved is cluster 2.

Abstract

Contractors’ cost estimation has a very important effect in every company’s performance which will be needed in fulfilling every customer’s needs. Nevertheless, in order to minimize the inaccuracy between the estimated cost and actual performance, it will be better to accommodate the economic condition in terms of estimating. In all the developing countries such as in Indonesia, the economic condition is most likely to be unstable thus it will be influence to the accuracy of estimation. The purpose of this research is to find all the indicator economic variables which had been influenced so the project is able to be optimized. The result shows that money currency has a strong impact. In order to comprehend this information, data needs to be collected from central bank, newspapers, the expert, and also the estimator themselves. Keywords: Estimasi Biaya, Proyek Konstruksi, Pengaruh Indikator Ekonomi

Abstract

The delay of productivity process can make losses that are not small, even that losses can make the organization bankrupt. PT. Tjahja Sakti Motor do not yet have forecasting method, forecasting is only based on order BMW Indonesia. It can make the demand from the other consumer can't be fulfilled. To avoid that, they need a right forecasting method for fulfilling the demand. Researcher tries to make forecasting method that fit with demand in PT. Tjahja Sakti Motor. Researcher uses actual data demand from 2012 until 2014. After that, the researcher concluded that demand data is random demand. Therefore researcher must choose one from three forecasting method that fit with the random demand data (Simple Moving Average, Weighted Moving Average, and Exponential Smoothing). Weighted Moving Average is chosen, because have Tacking Signal with the smallest interval (-2.03 - 3.09). After decided the method of forecasting, researcher makes Master Production Planning (MPS) which breakdown to be Material Requirement Planning (MRP) with Bill Of Material (BOM) until level two. Keywords: Peramalan, Tracking Signal, MPS, MRP, BOM

Abstract

Transportation is a tool that supports the construction and economic development of a country. Because in this modern era, transportation provides easy access to the movement of goods and people from one place to another. This research was conducted at a company engaged in public transportation services. The main services provided are inter-city buses in the province, inter-city inter-provincial buses, tour buses and travel transportation. In 2018, the company has plans to add six travel vehicles and the capital owned is 500.000.000 Rupiah. While the remaining capital needed will be borrowed from Bank Antardaerah, so a business feasibility study is needed that can determine whether or not the investment plan is feasible. In addition, the Hesitant Fuzzy Sets method is used to model all forms of uncertainty that can cause losses. Hesitant Fuzzy Sets are an extension of the fuzzy set to handle inaccuracies where there are two or more sources of obscurity that appear simultaneously. Some basic methods used to determine the feasibility of investment plans are Payback Period (PP), Minimum Acceptable Rate of Return (MARR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). In addition, the Hesitant Fuzzy Sets method is used to model all forms of uncertainty that can cause losses. One example of such uncertainty is income uncertainty and expenditure uncertainty which are received by the company every year. The reason for using Hesitant Fuzzy Sets, because the method is an extension of the fuzzy set that can handle inaccuracies where there are two or more sources of obscurity that appear simultaneously.
