Abstract

For lovers of the outdoors and looking for tranquility, the Puthuk Ngepoh tourist attraction is located in Brajan Hamlet, Banjararum, Kalibawang Kulon Progo, which is in the Menoreh Hills. The location is 45 km from downtown Jogjakarta. Managed by a tourism awareness group (POKDARWIS), it can be a choice of destination to fill the weekend. One of the existing problems, is the constraint on electricity which is more economical. Therefore, the authors seek to Install Solar Panels (PLTS), as an alternative source of electricity by utilizing sunlight as a producer of electrical energy, which is environmentally friendly. This is expected to be a solution for the burden of lighting at tourist sites. Batteries are one option to store electrical energy, from solar panels. In observations, the battery is charged by solar panels that generate voltage by converting solar energy into electrical energy. The voltage generated from the solar panels ranges from 14.8 to 17.5 volts DC. The solar panels used are of the type Polycrystalline (Poly-crystalline) with a power of 100wp. The measurement results show that the solar panel current and voltage are ± 17V, the distribution to the battery is regulated by the solar charger controller (SCC), an average of 13.5V. Change the DC to AC voltage using an inverter. This shows that after the battery is charged for 2-3 hours, it can operate for 3 hours with an inverter output voltage of 220-176volt AC. Voltage and current will start to increase at 07.00 WIB, maximum at 10.00-13.00 WIB, starting to decrease until the afternoon.

Abstract

Community service activities were carried out in Siten, Sumbermulyo Village, Kapanewon Bambanglipuro, Bantul Regency. The counseling was attended by members of the Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) group. Since the 2006 great earthquake, the public has been educated on earthquake response. However, they do not know the relationship between geological features and the value of local wisdom. Earthquakes of small scale and intensity are still being felt. Through service activities, the participants understand the emergency location planning model after the earthquake disaster. The introduction of local wisdom values ​​in the existence of several places becomes a means of educating the existence of geological features in the earthquake disaster area. Some of these places include springs, historical heritage sites, and isolated hill of Gunung Cilik. Based on the optimization of the results of previous research on geological features and Google Earth, an earthquake evacuation location is recommended. Evacuation locations are directed at limestone hills, 1 km to the west from the service location. Google Map can be used by participants to identify the evacuation route. Abstract

The entrepreneurial learning process must also be able to build entrepreneurial character in students, including the courage to take risks, be able to see the future and create opportunities, be able to modify products by providing added value for consumers, thus creating a difference with competitors (Arasy Alimudin, 2013). Tamtams Warmindo is a food stall developed by several students of IST Akprind Yogyakarta with a menu that focuses on healthy food. The reason the food menu focuses on a healthy food menu is due to the covid-19 pandemic which has created an intention to make healthy eating in the form of simple stalls that are very popular with the public, especially the DIY area. After this business was opened and running for some time, and saw some aspects of the business so that it could qualify for the 2021 Indonesian Student Business Competition (KBMI) program funding.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has been going on since 2020. Efforts to improve health protocols are still being echoed. Washing hands with soap has become a new habit during this pandemic. There are many hand washing liquid soaps on the market, but it is relatively expensive. We need to find an effort to be able to get liquid soap at an economical price. This can be done by making your own hand washing liquid soap. Fulfilling the need for liquid hand washing soap is also important for residents of RT 02 in Rewulu Wetan, Sidokarto, Godean. Therefore, on March 28, 2021, a training was held on making hand-washing liquid soap for the residents of the hamlet. This training activity is to increase the knowledge of residents of RT 02, Rewulu Wetan about liquid hand soap and how to make it. Another goal is to get a cheaper liquid soap when compared to products on the market. This activity is expected to be a source of inspiration for participants to become entrepreneurs. The training was carried out by presenting the material by the resource persons. The activity continued with the practice of making liquid hand soap. The training closed with a discussion session with the trainees. The implementation of the training can run well and smoothly. The residents who attended were enthusiastic about receiving the material presented. This could be seen from the discussion about the training materials. The result of this training is an economical liquid hand soap.

Abstract

Data dari BPS menunjukkan masih sangat sedikit usaha yang memanfaatkan pemasaran online. Berdasarkan wawancara singkat dengan para pelaku usaha anggota OK oCE ADMA diketahui bahwa banyak UMKM yang terdampak selama pandemi COVID-19. Penjualan mereka mengalami penurunan selama pandemi berlangsung, karena mereka tidak dapat membuka usaha secara offline akibat adanya pembatasan sosial berskala besar. Selama ini usaha yang mereka jalan mayoritas masih mengandalkan pemasaran secara offline. Penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi pun belum dimaksimalkan dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan sekaligus praktek pembuatan Whatsapp Bisnis. Dari hasil penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan oleh pengabdi, pelaku bisnis telah memiliki Whatsapp Bisnis bagi usaha mereka masing-masing. Namun pelaku bisnis perlu melengkapi pembuatan katalog untuk sarana pemasaran online produk mereka

Abstract

ABSTRACT Hypertension is a major public health problem in the world and in Indonesia. The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia according to baseline health research of year 2018 is 34.1%. People need to implement a healthy lifestyle as an effort to prevent hypertension. Health information which repeated continuesly  will encourage lifestyle changes in the community. The purpose of this community service activity was to increase knowledge about hypertension through a good understanding, especially about the definition, causes, signs and symptoms, prevention and treatment of hypertension. The service method was by providing counseling to 25 families of  Srimulyo village-Piyungan subdistrict, and 40 families in Padokan Kidul, Kasihan subdistrict, Bantul Regency. Counseling was carried out directly by implementing health protocols and using leaflets and posters. The evaluation of this service activity uses a pretest and posttest design. Data analysis used paired t-test. The results of the t-test obtained p-value 0.000 <0.05 which indicates that there is a difference in the average knowledge of the audience about hypertension before and after counseling. This service activity is statistically proven to have increased public knowledge about hypertension prevention. Audience awareness is expected to be followed up with early detection of hypertension by checking blood pressure regularly and implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

The development of information technology and computers that are growing rapidly, has an impact on the community, they begin to use information technology to support their daily activities, as well as teachers. Information technology and computers support the performance of teachers, especially kindergarten teachers. The ability to use office software and surf the internet is quite diverse, so to improve these skills, computer training (especially office and internet) is needed for kindergarten teachers, especially those who join in GOPTKI Yogyakarta City. This training is expected to increase the knowledge and skills of kindergarten teachers in operating the office (especially Microsoft Word and Power Point) and browsing the internet. The training was carried out offline and directly with a computer at 3Th Campus of the Institut Sains & Teknologi AKPRIND Yogyakarta. Observations at the end of the training Most of the teachers were more skilled in using word and power point and browsing for information, both written and pictures on the internet for support the performance of teachers in managing administration and making learning media. Abstract

MSMEs in Yogyakarta is growing rapidly because Yogyakarta is one of the city's tourist destinations and is known as a student city and a city of culture. One of the obstacles for MSMEs is related to financing to obtain expansion and marketing capital that has not been maximized. SiBakul is an MSME collection data system so that registered MSME development can be more focused. The Service Team provides guidance and direction related to the digital marketing system and MSME financing. This marketing system aims to expand the MSME market and fostering the submission of a financing system aims to encourage MSMEs to be able to expand. This coaching activity is carried out for 1 month, which consists of activities for developing a digital marketing system, financing education, directing MSMEs to apply for financing, and the last stage is the evaluation stage.

Abstract

Banyubiru Tourism Village has a market potential that is able to attract tourists to come to the Merapi Valley Tradition Market. The market sells a variety of traditional specialties, traditional souvenirs, traditional utensils, and so on. However, in the promotional activities of this tourist village, it is still conventional and has not been touched by digital promotions, either in the form of websites or social media. This is the background for the community service program to create a website for the Merapi Valley Tradition Market in Banyubiru Tourism Village, Dukun District, Magelang Regency. The activity of making this website began with observations of the Head of RW, Head of RT and local residents to collect information about the Merapi Valley Traditional Market. After the website content components have been sufficient, proceed with the design and content of the Merapi Valley Traditional Market website. Furthermore, the implementation of website creation begins with the preparation of hosting and domains as well as the addition of SSL for website security. These components are needed so that the website can be accessed online by anyone who needs information. Hosting is a service for storing data, images, and files on a website. Domain is the website address. Additional security features SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is required to provide encryption security on the website. The process after implementation, namely uploading the website to the hosting that has been provided. The last is the handover of the website to the Management of the Merapi Valley Traditional Market. Making this website aims to make it easier for the wider community, both domestic and foreign tourists to get information about the cultural diversity in the Banyubiru Tourism Village, especially the culture in the Merapi Valley Tradition Market.

Abstract

Karaca crab is one of the processed fishery products from Desakitara UMKM, located in Juata Permai Village, Tarakan City. The processed products of keraca crab have the potential for nutritional and economic value. However, the application of marketing strategies carried out by Desakitara SMEs has not been optimal, so their distribution is still limited and not well known to the public. This activity aims to provide marketing assistance for fishery products to MSME Desakitara Tarakan City through community service programs. The activity method starts from the preparation, socialization, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation stages. The results of the activities that have been carried out are increasing partner knowledge and technology related to online-based marketing, increasing partner skills and creativity in marketing by applying the 4P principles: product (product in the form of goods/services), price (price), promotion (promotion) and place, as well as increasing sales and income of Desakitara MSME partners. After the activity has been carried out, Desakitara MSMEs are now productive again. There is an increase in income to support the development of the potential of tropical marine resources.
