<![CDATA[Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) untuk Industri Rumahan (IR) tahun 2017, merupakan salah satu prioritas Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (KPPA) dalam rangka peningkatan produktiitas ekonomi perempuan yang bekerja sama dengan Asosiasi Pendidikan Tinggi Informatika dan Komputer (APTIKOM) Wilayah V. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari dilaksanakannya pelatihan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan pemanfaatan TIK dalam mendukung peningkatan kapasitas pelaku IR di wilayah DIY dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi dan pemasaran. Peserta pelatihan dari Wilayah Gunung Kidul sejumlah 45 orang ditentukan dan diundang oleh pihak KPPA, sedangkan metode yang dipakai dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah metode pendampingan dan pelatihan yang dilakukan oleh anggota APTIKOM Wilayah V sebagai trainer dan asisten trainer. Peserta yang hadir sebanyak 30 orang dari 45 peserta yang diundang. Berdasar kehadiran, tingkat partisipasi peserta hanya sekitar 66.67%. Rata-rata peserta yang hadir dalam pelatihan merasakan kemanfaatan dari pelatihan ini. Hasil kuisioner yang disebarkan menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 83.33% (25 dari 30 peserta) berpendapat agar pelatihan ini dapat berkelanjutan.]]>

<![CDATA[Teknologi Informasi (TI) telah digunakan di setiap aspek kehidupan dan di semua kalangan, termasuk anak-anak saat ini sudah sangat akrab dengan penggunaan TI. Namun, maraknya penggunaan TI di kalangan anak-anak harus disertai dengan pemberian bekal tentang bagaimana menggunakan IT dengan baik, dengan mengoptimalkan manfaat dan meminimalisir aspek bahaya penggunaan IT tersebut. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Dusun Karet Desa Pleret Kecamatan Bantul Yogyakarta bertujuan memberikan sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada anak-anak usia dini (Sekolah Dasar) dalam menggunakan dan memanfaatkan TI secara bijak. Dari hasil survei terhadap 30 anak-anak yang mengikuti sosialisasi di peroleh data bahwa 100% anak-anak mempunyai minimal satu buah alat komunikasi berbasis TI, 100% anak-anak pernah menggunakan peralatan TI, 83% mempunyai akun media social. Dalam penggunaan TI 45% menjawab digunakan untuk chatting, 25% untuk bermain game, 17% untuk bermain media social, hanya 9% yang menggunakan untuk menyelesaikan tugas sekolah dan 4% untuk mencari berita. Sedangkan mengenai bahaya penggunaan TI, hanya 10% yang menjawab mengerti. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan diperlukannya sosialisasi tentang penggunaan TI di kalangan anak-anak agar mereka dapat menggunakan peralatan TI dengan lebih baik dan bijak. Peran orang tua dalam pendampingan sangat diperlukan supaya anak-anak dapat menggunakan TI dengan baik.]]>

<![CDATA[Limbah merupakan konsekuensi dari adanya aktifitas manusia.Limbah merupakan material sisa yang tidak diinginkan setelah berakhirnya suatu proses. Dalam kehidupan modern, limbah menjadi salah satu isu yang penting. Upaya menyadarkan masyarakat tentang penggunaan plastik telah banyak dilakukan, seperti dengan slogan refuse, reduce, reuse, dan recycle namun sosialisasi dan pendampingan terhadap masyarakat harus terus dilakukan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat khususnya Ibu-ibu rumah tangga di dusun Karet Pleret Yogyakarta akan pentingnya pengelolaan sampah/limbah plastik di lingkungannya dan mengolahnya menjadi barang yang berharga atau memanfaatkan limbah tersebut untuk penggunaan lain yang bermanfaat. Hasil dari sosialisasi dan pendampingan ini diharapkan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakan akan pentingnya pengelolaan sampah plastik dan pada akhirnya meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan dan meningkatkan taraf kehidupan.]]>

<![CDATA[The current archive management has been influenced by the development of information technology. Archives are not only stored in physical form but also stored in digital form. With this digital archive the process of retrieval can be quickly done. Application support greatly determines the effectiveness in the process of digitizing the archives. The process of digitizing the archive does not just store in the form of files like PDF but also stored, processed and search process using the application. With this archive application the storage process, search process and other processes are done with the application. One of the applications based on open source is Arteri. Arteries are web-based archival applications built in order to integrate archives electronically. The process of socializing the use of Arteri is done with the target participants are librarians who are members of librarian forums of Indonesian universities, especially the DI Yogyakarta. Socialization is packaged in the form of workshops and its outcome is the librarians understand how to use Arteri as an application to manage archives.]]>

<![CDATA[Most women in the Sedayu area Magelang, especially in rural areas, are generally housewives who do not earn. Actually women have considerable potential to help household economies that can improve the economy of the village. The women's empowerment program can be done by increasing skills, among others by producing materials needed by the community, for example the skills to produce Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). VCO is pure coconut oil which is needed by the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics industry and the general public who use it directly for health purposes. Pure coconut oil with the main content of lauric acid and capric acid is very beneficial for the health of the body. Many researchers have proven that lauric acid in the human body will be converted into monolaurin which can overcome various viral attacks such as HIV, herpes, influenza and various pathogenic bacteria. The economic value of VCO on the market is quite high. The raw material needed to produce VCO is coconut meat which is very easy to obtain at a fairly cheap price. The manufacturing process can be done easily and the equipment used is also very simple. With these skills, it is expected that women in Sedayu hamlet can get substantial profits that can improve the economy of their households in particular, and the village economy in general.]]>

<![CDATA[The clean environment in Pringgokusuman Village, Gedong Tengen District, Yogyakarta City is a dream of the community in the village. The KOTAKU (No Slum City) Program is being held in RW 22 in Pringgokusuman Village, this program was carried out in order to realize that the environment was clean in the area from household waste which had so far received less attention so that it had an impact on the unhealthy environment. The community service carried out aims designing appropriate technology for processing household waste so as not to pollute the environment in RW 22 in Pringgokusuman Village, Gedong Tengen District, Yogyakarta City. The implementation of this community service was on October 8, 2018 at the location of RW 22 Kampung Notoyudan, Pringgo Kusuman Village, Gedong Tengen District, Yogyakarta City. The activities included Debriefing the community about processing waste using mechanical devices, Maintenance of mechanical devices and debriefing of household waste which results in the environment becoming unhealt. The result of community service is the number of community attendance in accordance with what is expected to be 90% present and the community capable of operating mechanical machinery, caring for mechanical machinery and replacing engine parts if any part of the device is damaged.]]>

<![CDATA[In introducing an institution both in the fields of education, business, business, computer information technology is very helpful both in the form of the internet and in the form of videos. Video is a very appropriate tool to promote or convey information of an institution in the form of audio visual both online and offline. This paper is an output of the implementation of community service with the theme of Preparing Video-Based Presentation Materials for student participants from the Macedonia Student Center's Child Development Center. The training discusses the steps in preparing the video, how to make or design the material to be loaded, prepare images, audio, the narrative then arranges (integrates) and selects the file format that will be used in several video software, so participants can choose video software which is considered easy. The results of community service activities, trainees understand and can practice in preparing video-based presentation material.]]>

<![CDATA[Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have a vital role in development and economic growth, not only in developing countries like Indonesia, but also in developed countries. Villagers of Trayeman, Pleret village most of the livelihood as perpetrators of SMEs. But with no legality of business, the perpetrators of SMEs cannot develop their business. Business legality through licensing is very important for SMEs to be able to facilitate business actors to access capital in developing their business and compete with other business actors. Therefore, we conduct assistance to legalize efforts to develop SMEs of Trayeman residents. This mentoring process through three stages of business data collection, counseling and application of business permits to the District. Based on data collection, business people in Trayeman numbered 12 people with different kind of business. Counseling explains the importance of business legalization (business legalization benefits) and the process of legalization of business for SMEs. After following the counseling, all business actors (amounting to 12 people) are interested in applying for a business license. The perpetrators of SMEs collect the requirements and then request a letter from the village then submitted to the districs.]]>

<![CDATA[Household electricity is one of the causes of fires. This results in considerable material damage and also loss of human life. Based on statistics and records from the fire service stating that the main cause of fires is electricity shortages, the most fires object is housing, these fire events can be reduced only by educating users and not being blocked by regulations for sophisticated electrical and supply installations, but damage in the installation can cause fires, in this article reviewed what causes fires and how they can be prevented by planning and selecting equipment installation for electrical installations. This community service aims to provide information on the potential of household electrical hazards, especially the occurrence of fires, by knowing proper usage of electricity and maintaining installations in the house properly and damage to installations and their use which can endanger our safety. The results of this activity are expected to be residents of Totogan, Madurejo Village, Prambanan Subdistrict, Sleman Regency, DIY can play an active role in an effort to reduce fire hazards due to short circuits in electrical installations. If the activities are carried out continuously, it is hoped that the residents will be able to carry out preventive measures for the occurrence of hazards caused by the use of equipment that uses electricity.]]>
