Abstract

Anyone agrees that the Qur’an has the spirit of egalitarianism. Sex differences do not make one of them superior to others. Both have equal rights in education, politics, social and economic. However, the existence of several verses that seem to take sides make the interpreter play a key role in the meaning. Therefore, prior text involvement that binds the mindset of the interpreter is aware or not is a decisive aspect. This study aims to uncover the interpretation of verses that are misogynistic by feminists. The primary source is the interpretation of al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab. By using textual and contextual approaches, at least this research found several points. First, in interpreting the verse which is indicated misogynist classical interpreters tend to be literalist, while modern interpreters are more contextualist. Second, Hawa was created from the same type as the prophet Adam, not from his ribs. Third, taking care of the household is the responsibility of the wife, but this obligation does not make women’s rights - in the public and domestic spaces - isolated.

Abstract

As Muslims, we have been guided by God in the Qur’an regarding halal and unlawful food to eat. In the Surah al-Maidah, verse 3 states: “Forbidden to you (eat) carcasses, blood, pork, meat of animals slaughtered in the name other than Allah, choked, beaten, fallen, gored, save that which ye have slaughtered, and forbidden for you that are slain for idols. And it is forbidden to draw fate with the arrow (to draw fate with the arrow) is wickedness “. In addition to those mentioned in the Qur’an, there is a type of animal called al-Jallalah also included in food that is forbidden to eat. Al-Jallalah is a halal animal to eat, four legged (ruminan) or two-legged (poultry), and the basic food is dirt and unclean. The 73th Bureau of Malaysia’s Fatwa Nationality Authority in 2006 has decided aquatic fsh are also haram eaten if the fsh is deliberately kept in unclean water or deliberately fed unclean such as pork, carcasses and others. The issue of fshery in a place mixed with pig droppings has links with al-Jallalah animals which is an important aspect in the Islamic fqh perspective. The purpose of this study is to explain and understand the concept of animal al-Jallalah on catfsh in terms of defnition, fsh food, pond environment and quarantine period. In this study, the method used is the study of libraries, for discussion of sources naqli and aqli against legal problems, also through inductive methods (istiqra’i) as well as the use of several methods of feld investigation such as interviews and experiments / experiments. This review will help to improve the quality of halal fsh. Muslims need to refer to the latest fatwa, especially the material is originally halal and can be turned into haram including syubhah with contaminated with various materials and processes that halal status is doubtful.

Abstract

Kritik keras tentang praktik pendidikan yang dianggap mengarah kepada ‘dehumanisasi’ manusia, sebagaimana dilontarkan oleh Freire, Paulo; Illich, Ivan; dan Fromm, Erich (1997), perlu direspon secara kritis. Menurut mereka praktik pendidikan yang ada cenderung mengatur kehidupan orang, terjadi penindasan antara guru (sebagai penguasa) dan peserta didik (sebagai yang dikuasai), terjadi penjinakan (dalam bahasa Freire), dan karenanya arah dan praktik pendidikan harus diubah. Respon Mezirow (dalam Azra, 2002), terhadap kritik pendidikan tersebut adalah perlunya mengubah paradigma pendidikan menuju humanisasi pendidikan. Dalam teorinya tentang Transformation of Pedagogy, menghendaki agar ada cara kritis untuk menghadapi kendala reformasi pendidikan menuju ‘humanisasi’ pendidikan, ialah dengan melakukan perubahan. Ia percaya transformasi pendidikan akan terjadi jika mereka meyakini bahwa ‘perubahan’ adalah kata kunci untuk mencari cara baru dalam mengatasi persoalan pendidikan. Dengan melihat karakteristik masyarakat madani, yaitu (1) kesukarelaan, (2) keswasembadaan, (3) kemandirian tinggi terhadap Negara, dan (4) kepatuhan terhadap nilai-nilai hukum yang dipatuhi bersama, mungkin akan mampu mendorong arah perubahan pendidikan menuju Indonesia yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The theme of juvenile delinquency is not really a weird theme, but the theme is already become history, even since the time of prophecy. As proof, there are the children of prophet when still a teenager growing up become adult that showed delinquency and disobedience to parents. This further reinforces that the delinquency and juvenile delinquency is a classic to the contemporary era which is still growing even at the level of alert. In essence, if certain parties that in this case the parents, educators, and the family learned of his knowledge, they are juvenile could have been avoided and overcome, namely by developing “aspects of seeding affection, pure unconditional” to children-teenagers, because his life children, adolescents misses the bigger the attention and affection more than his parents. Unfortunately, not many parents who are able to develop nurseries with pure love unconditionally.

Abstract

First Party Professional Certification Institution /FPPCI has the duty to perform competency based assessment/CBA and certify students of Vocational High School/VHS. This study aims to find out how effective FPPCI in Yogyakarta VHS in conducting CBA/certification profession. The result of the calculation shows that: (1) the percentage of graduation level of CBA in Yogyakarta is moderate, (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between learning achievement with thepassing level of CBA, (3) no relation between work attitude and graduation level of CBA, (4) there is a positive and significant correlation between learning achievement and learning attitude with graduation level of CBA, (5) there is a mathematical model to predict graduation level of CBA.

Abstract

Custody of the child (hadhanah) became the dispute between the two parties as a result of a divorce. Child custody dispute cases in Indonesia are handled by the Religious Courts, based on source material and formal laws and regulations. The Qur’an does not mention publicly about hadhanah in a separate verse, verse on breastfeeding (radha’ah) and the obligation of a father to support is the nearest verse regarding child custody. Although the obligation to feed and custody are two different things, both of them become the same this when they come to child benefciaries. Disputes over child custody already happened at shahabah’s era, which is when the parties to the dispute are Umar and his wife, and that mediates is Abu Bakr, who was then serving as the Caliph once qadhi-l- qudhat whose capacity is to mediate a dispute.rights

Abstract

The curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements concerning objectives, content, and instructional materials and ways used as guidelines for the implementation of learning activities to achieve specific educational goals. PPMI Assalaam’s curriculum is a blend of Islamic ideology with the demands of society and the demands of change. The academic problem that arises is the demand for continuous evaluation of the curriculum used in boarding school environment so that it can be in tune with the development of the times and the development of the demands of society. Development of PPMI Assalaam Curriculum must consider three things (1) ideology of boarding school establishment, (2) aspirations and expectations of stake hoders, and (3) demands of the times. Looking at the current structure of PPMI Assalaam curriculum, taking into account various issues, reconstruction is needed to meet the expectations of all parties. The combination of the formal education curriculum with the curriculum of the boarding school is one of the curriculum’s cores that should be done in the assessment. Likewise too heavy learning load, the number of subjects that are too many, will have implications on the needs of large human resources. In the future the reconstruction of the PPMI Assalaam curriculum should start from the objectives, content / process, and evaluation.

Abstract

The aim of writing this paper is to reveal the patterns of Allah protection towards mankind from the syaitan’s interference and his viciousness through interaction of the relationship between Allah and human. The nature of Allah that consist of tauhid rububiyah, mulkiyah and tauhid uluhiyah are the basis of attachment relationship between Khaliq and makhluq, both of them are interacting one another. Those three natures of Allah are contained in QS. An-Naas, the 114thsurah in the Holy Qur’an. As a makhluq, Human who were being created by the Khaliq were highly recommended to seek refuge only unto Him, The Protector and The Sovereign Lord of mankind, and the only one God who has to worship, ask for his protection from the viciousness of syaitan khannas, which was whispering into the chest and invisible by the man.

Abstract

Character education in Indonesia has become a necessity. Various cases of crime and moral deviations become evident that the character of most citizens already at alarming stage. Therefore character education is absolutely necessary not only in school, but also at home and in other social environments. Due to the facts character education is proclaimed in all the levels of education. Character education becomes the core of national education, to have faith fear to Allah and noble. Abstract

Indonesia yang masyarakatnya terdiri dari beraneka ragam latar belakang memerlukan nilai-nilai multikultural tertentu agar bisa saling hidup berdampingan dengan damai dan saling menghormati. Nilai-nilai tersebut dikelompokkan menjadi 3 (tiga) nilai multikultural inti, yaitu; a) Demokrasi, Kesetaraan dan Keadilan, b) Kemanusiaan, Kebersamaan, dan Kedamaian, dan c) Sikap Mengakui, Menerima, dan Menghargai Keragaman. Untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai tersebut di dalam masyarakat, pendidikan memegang peranan penting dan strategis. Karena melalui pendidikan, bangsa Indonesia bisa mempersiapkan generasi selanjutnya yang memahami dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai multikultural ini. Pondok pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang tertua dan berpengaruh di Indonesia, berdasarkan studi deskriptif dalam artikel ini, ternyata telah mengenal dan mengajarkan nilai-nilai multikultural inti diatas kepada para santri. Nilai-nilai ini bersumber dari al-Qur’an dan Hadits Nabi, yang diolah dan ditulis oleh para ulama Indonesia pada masa lalu dalam bentuk kitabkitab kuning, dan menjadi kurikulum pendidikan di sebagain besar pesantren di Indonesia.
