Abstract

This research was a research and development. The purposes of this research were to investigate the validity of the product based on the experts, to investigate the advisability based on practitioners’ test and to investigate the effectiveness of the implementation of assertive training technique guidance to enhance junior high school students’ self-confidence. The examination of the effectiveness of the product was conducted by using Matching Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design experimental design. The data collection techniques used were questionnaire, observation, and interview. The subject of this research was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri Karanganyar. This research resulted a product in the form of assertive training technique guidance which had been examined by the experts and practitioners and its effectiveness had been experimented to the students. The result of the experts’test was that the product had valid category with minor revision with 83,9 % score .The result of the practitioners’ test was that the product had valid category with minor revision with 84.6% score. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the product was examined in limited range towards the research subject. The activities conducted towards the subject included giving pretest, implementing the product, and giving posttest. The effectiveness examination result showed that there was an improvement in the average score before and after the treatment was given, that were 90.8 of average pretest score and 103.07 of average posttest score. It was supported by the statistical analysis result by using SPPS.16 with Wilcoxon test that showed that the significance score was <0.005 (0.001< 0.05), so that it could be concluded that H0 was denied which meant that there was a difference between the score in the pretest and the score in the posttest of the experimental group. It showed that there was improvement in students’ self-confidence as the result of the implementation of assertive training technique guidance. Thus it could be concluded that assertive training technique guidance was effective to enhance the self-confidence of the students in SMP Negeri in Karanganyar

Abstract

The advance of modern science and technology entered the Islamic world, especially after the opening of the nineteenth century AD, which in Islamic history was known as the beginning of the Modern Period. Modernization of education in Indonesia is better known as reformation. The emergence of the dichotomy according to the experts is a decline of science that eventually led to the intellectuals who mastered science in an uncomprehensive manner.This paper is the result of literature research investigated by library document searching method. Primary sources used are the results of writings published in journals with the theme of education and Islamization of science, while the secondary source is a book of books with related themes.The purpose of this paper is (1) To know how the concept of modernization of education comprehensively, (2) to know the idea of Islamization of Science in the modernization of education, (3) to know the development of modernization of Islamic education system through Islamization of Science in Indonesia.The results of this paper can be concluded that to the modern education system there are two ways that are needed if the birth of an integrated pattern of education is desired. The first is the effort to integrate science and religious knowledge, while the second is to integrate leader characteristics and managerial characteristics within formal education organizations.

Abstract

Foreign language anxiety is beliefs, feelings and complex behavior which related to language learning. Foreign language anxiety arising from internal factors, they are negative self-concept or perception of themselves. The aim of this research is to know the relation between self-concept with foreign language anxiety, to know the levels of self-concept and foreign language anxiety in college student of Boarding School K.H.Mas Mansyur-UMS. The types of this research is quantitative research, with the subject of research is college student of Boarding School K.H.Mas Mansyur-UMS totaling 65 students. The method of collecting data by using psychology scale; they are self-concept and foreign language anxiety scale with incidental sampling method. While the method of data analysis is by Product Moment analysis-Spearman. The result of this research proves that there is signifcant negative relation between self-concept with foreign language anxiety. The correlation coeffcient to (-0,343), it is mean the lower self-concept makes higher anxiety and vice versa. The variable of self-concept give an effective contribution of 11, 8% to the variable of foreign language anxiety. The categorization of foreign language anxiety is 77% and the categorization of self-concept is 88%. Then, the result proves that the levels of foreign language anxiety and self-concept of college student of Boarding School (Pesantren Mahasiswa) K.H.Mas Mansyur-UMS in average categorization

Abstract

This research based on the needs of explanation about five dimensions of religiousity written by Glock and Stark which then modified by Nashori and Mucharam with the adjustment toward religiousity in Islam. This is a Qualitative research with analytic descriptive approach. The result shows that there are 69 religious points of a moslem sourced from Al-Hadits about branches of faith. Those 69 points could be explained into 5 dimensions. Those dimensions consisted of Dimension of Aqidah 10 points, Dimension of Syariah 16 points, Dimension of Akhlaq 29 points, Dimension of Knowledge 3 points and Dimension of Ihsan 11 points.

Abstract

ASEAN Economic Community (MEA) as an economic integration of ASEAN will have an impact on various sectors of life including education system in Indonesia. As there is no exception to pesantren education. The problem that arises is how pesantren is known as an indigenous education that is able to adapt to the global competition of MEA and how the pesantren redesigns the concept of moderate education so as to strengthen the competitiveness of boarding schools without having to lose the identity of a pesantren as an indigenous education in Indonesia. The results of the study have indicated that pesantren is based on some moderate values existing in the pesantren world is ready to enter the ASEAN Economic Community. Some moderate values for dealing with MEAs are; multicultural values as adaptative concepts of the times, in-dichotomic academic traditions. modern management based on quality and collective leadership collegial and also pesantren as the economic axis of the ummah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kurikulum dan pengembangannya, model pembelajaran, dan evaluasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: model pendidikan PPMI Assalaam berupa klasikal, dengan model kurikulum separated subject curriculum. Pengembangan kurikulumnya model tyler, model pembelajarannya model petunjuk/ resep. Masih belum optimal dalam mengasah talenta santri, indikatornya adalah penyeragaman dalam kurikulum yang bersifat top down,yaitu kurang aspiratif, dominasi guru dalam proses KBM, serta dominasi hafalan.Terjadi penyeragaman soal dalam ujian tulis, dalam kontek ujian lisan penguji sudah menggunakan instrumen yang baku. Melihat fakta tersebut serta kenyataan setiap anak terlahir cerdas, maka peneliti merekomendasikan: perlu menerapkan kurikulum berbasis talenta (dominan potensi otak) yaitu dengan kurikulum dan pembelajaran kontekstual quotientdan model evaluasi autentik. Dengan demikian, esensi pendidikan yang merupakan satu kesatuan yang utuh dan seimbang antara sistem keilmuan dengan sistem nilai Islam dapat dicapai.

Abstract

The aim of writing this paper is to show the role of Islam in handling social crimes in society. Particularly, Islam has special concern in seven social evils. It can be seen from the punishment of these seven social evils. The Punishment for the perpetrators of these 7 social evils is stated clearly in the Holy Qur’ an. The punishment will be conducted firmly to those perpetrators. Those seven social evils are adultery, accusing others commit adultery, stealing, carouse (consuming alcohol), hooliganism, apostasy, and the rebellion against the legitimate government. Islam offers a very strong effect to perpetrators of those seven social evils, so that the perpetrators will not repeat his crimes. It also prevents the crimes to occur repeatedly.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The science of tafsir is one of the important branches of knowledge in Islamic science. Further, in order to revive the Qur’anic verses must be repudiated, understood and then practiced by the Muslim people. So, the purpose of the Qur'an is revealed. Moreover, in term of kind, the tafsir of interpretation is divided into two, namely tafsir bil ma'tsur and tafsir bil ra'yi, tafsir bil ma'tsur is tafsir which based on the hadiths of the prophet about the interpretation of the Qur’anic verses, while tafsir bil ra 'yi is the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an rests on the opinions of the muslim scholars namely interpreter. And from this classification the scholars created the science of methodology in interpreting Qur'an, which from this science is summed up the ways of the scholars mufassir in interpreting the Qur'an. This branch of knowledge was created to make it as a guideline in interpreting the Qur'an to avoid misguided and perverted interpretations. And through this paper, the author will examine the method of Imam Tabari in interpreting the Qur'an. While, his interpretation is belongs to tafsir bil ma'tsur. Because in his interpretation, most of the verses refer to the hadith of the prophet and atsar shahabah. Tafsir Imam Thabari is the first generation of commentary scholars who became the main reference of the salaf scholars and contemporary mufassir. Furthermore, tahliliy method or method of analysis is the main method used Imam Tabari in his tafsir, which is to interpret the Qur'an by explaining his verses from all aspects contained in detail. Abstract

The phenomenon studied in this research is about the readiness of vocational school students in relation to the implementation of career guidance services in schools, the research problem was formulated as follows: “how is the infuence of career guidance services to the readiness of class XII students accounting expertise competence SMK Negeri 11 Bandung”. The purpose of this study is to describe the services of career guidance and readiness work and to determine the effect of career guidance services to job readiness of student class XII accounting expertise competence SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. The research method is descriptive verifcation, data collection techniques on job readiness and career guidance services at school using questionnaire instrument that has passed the validity test and reliability test. Number of members of the population is 129 students, the sample used proportionate random sampling technique that is as many as 93 respondents. Numerical scale model Questionnaire used in this research and data analysis is Pearson product moment correlation. The result of the research shows that student’s readiness is in very good category, with the highest percentage result in ability and willingness to work dimension of 86, 49%. With career guidance services at school are in good category of 72.59%, including self-understanding and self-assessment, working world knowledge, decision making and attitude, and career planning. The result of the correlation coeffcient calculation shows 0.607, which means there is a strong relationship between career guidance service and job readiness. While the calculation of the coeffcient of determination obtained by 36.9% means that career counseling services affect 36.9% readiness of a student’s work. The remaining 63.1% is infuenced by other factors such as physical and mental maturity, interest, talent, intelligence, job information and work experience that need to be further investigated. And from t-test calculation is obtained t statistic = 7, 2863> t table (α = 0, 05) = 1,662. That is, career guidance services have a positive effect on the readiness of work

Abstract

Artificial Reproduction Technology (ART) get mixed response from contemporary Sunni and Shia jurist. The majority of Sunni scholars claimed the permissibility of it with several requirements that must be fulfilled, and some other Sunni scholars claimed makru>hand even prohibit it. On the other hand, the Shia scholars claimed the permissibility of ART but they differ in terms of the involvement of third parties in terms of donor sperm, donor egg and surrogacy. This article shows the view of Sunni and Shia to ART as well as various issues related thereto. This article also proves that the use of reasonable argument is more dominant in the Shia scholars than Sunni scholars whom more bound to the revelation texts and the jurisprudential legal maxim. This study uses Islamic legal theory approach with a focus on the fatwas and opinions of the scholars of Sunni and Shia in this field.
