Abstract

This article aims to explain a little bit about the stagnancy of the development of Arabic Lesson’s curriculum in Indonesia and to give some ideas to break that stagnancy in order to increase the productivity and boost the spirit of teachers to develop the Arabic Curriculum in Indonesia. The ideas to motivate teachers were mainly taken from the article written by James Dean Brown (Brown; 2009): “Language Curriculum Development: Mistakes Were Made, Problem Faced, and Lessons Learned”. The author also refers to some books and articles to get more informations about the Language Curriculum Development. This article ends with the conclusion that the Arabic Curriculum in Indonesia needs to be developed. And the management of schools and courses could take some actions to motivate the teachers to take a part in Arabic Curriculum Development, such as giving a special schedule for teachers to develop their curriculum, and to give teachers a forum to discuss about developing their curriculum, these steps have been implemented in some institutions, and in general, it has positive resultsArabic,

Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan (1) mencari model pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada SDI santri yang unggul dan kompetetif serta (2) mencari langkah–langkah strategis guna meningkatkan prestasi santri baik dibidang akademik maupun ekstra kurikuler. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk menjadikan pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang terus mencetak SDI yang unggul dan tetap eksis di era global maka hal-hal yang perlu mendapat perhatian antara lain membangun sistem nilai dan budaya yang positif, santri sebagai subjek dengan penuh keunikan dan potensi, guru dan tenaga pendidikan yang profesional, kurikulum dan program pembelajaran, managemen modern, sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, serta peran serta masyarakat. Langkahlangkah strategis agar para santri mampu meraih visi dan menjadi santri yang berprestasi yaitu dengan penguatan pendidikan berkarakter di PPMI Assalaam. Adapun penguatan pendidikan berkarakter antara lain bisa dilakukan dengan penguatan pada sisi spiritual, ada sisi pemikiran antara lain dengan adanya jam wajib baca, penguatan pada sisi moralitas, penguatan pada sisi kebermanfaat bagi orang lain, serta penguatan pada pengembangan potensi dan mengasah bakat dan kecerdasannya.

Abstract

Lexicon or dictionary has the crucial role for those who are learning foreign language. Those also became the most important appliance in acquiring any languages especially for them who teach and learn Arabic. Somehow these days many students and teachers choose to use transliteration dictionary then using dictionary that is written by Arabic. Herewith, in this text the author took discussion on history of Arabic lexicography and the phase transition in Arabic lexicon. Whithin it the reader will find the variety in Arabic lexicon. By understanding the kind of lexicon would help the learner to explore the essence and aesthetic in Arabic words .

Abstract

Occidentalism is the idea of the Egyptian renewal character Hassan Hanafi. This idea is to understand the West through the Eastern perspective. So as long as we know the efforts of orientalist to understand the Eastern through their perspectives. Therefore, it is important to note that the importance of the occidentalism is to observate, review and study the West. So, the main purpose of occidentalism is to study the West through the eastern perspective. This is to elimenate Western superiority and restore the eastern confidence. The researcher use the research methods by submitting sources and analyze it. The problem of occidentalism stems from the needs of orientalists to understand Islam and ots people various purposes. In this written, the writer try to describe the meaning, tasks and the aim of occidentalism and also it’s history. This idea is expected not to stop at the boundaries of discourse, but also there is an on going study effort by understanding how the way of occidentalism in studying Western traditions.

Abstract

This study includes a quantitative study with a study in MI Susukan District of Semarang District. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis techniques. Research data sources, namely the management committee of the madrasah, madrassa teachers and accreditation results. The author takes a sample of the population using purposive sampling method. Methods of collecting data through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results showed that: 1) Empowerment madrasah committee in accordance with the data processing has an average score of 3.4 that is included in both categories; 2) Motivation of teachers in accordance with the data processing has an average score of 4.1 that is included in both categories; 3) There is an increase in the quality of education in the district of Susukan MI Semarang district by 4.6 points (4.6%) increased from 77.1 to 81.7 over the period 2005-2007 to 2009-2012; 4) There is a signifcant relationship between empowerment madrasah committee for improving the quality of education in the district Susukan MI Semarang Regency, the infuence of a variable rate of 0,100; 5) There is a signifcant relationship between motivation of teachers to improve the quality of education in the district of Susukan MI Semarang Regency, the infuence of a variable rate of 0,024; 6) There is a signifcant relationship between empowerment and motivation komita madrassa simultaneously to improve the quality of education in the district Susukan MI Semarang regency, with the degree of infuence of 0,008.

Abstract

Shari’a Islamic economic developments in Indonesia, which has the largest Muslim population,are welcome by financial service businesses by setting up Shari’a banks, baitul mal wattanwil and others. As the pillar of the Indonesian economy, cooperatives which play important roles in economic development in Indonesia do not overlook capturing the opportunities in the field of savings and loans based on Shari’a. The problems that is faced are the implementation of the principle of profit sharings and risks involved in fund raising activities, the implementation of the principle of profit sharings in financing activities in a cooperative and the operational obstacles encountered in the implementation of the principle of the results of those profit sharings. This study not only uses qualitative research methods with empirical juridical approach, naturally observes at the basic principles of Islamic shari’a financial as a normative in nature, but also see how to interact (to be implemented) in the community. One of the principles of Shari’a financial is a contract for the result of profit sharings and risks in which the cooperative and also the members share the profits based on the ratio of the profit sharings that is determined before. The principle of profit sharings is the main characteristic in Islamic Shari’a finance, but financing activities in the cooperative are still low in comparison with other financing activities such as Murabaha (sale and purchase), this is affected by partially because of the high risks that must be paid by the cooperative in case of loss as a result of non intentional action or negligence of the debtors so that the cooperative will be very cautious in providing financing to members. Other constraints are inadequate human resources, management, information systems and technology, the attitude of the members of the cooperative who are more familiar with the conventional patterns and the lack of moral standards which are applied in financing activities.

Abstract

The research is the study of adaptation values of boarding school to be students’ hostel towards the Asean Economic Community (AEC). Basic problem which become this problem of academic assessment is the gap between demand and supply of human resources caused by 2030 Indonesia will need a workforce with high competence and a medium amount of 113 million workers, and eventually Indonesia will be minus 9 million workers. So what about the boarding schools? Does he still dwell on old paradigms and perceptions, which states that schools are religious education and not science education (general). Do schools educate people who are ready globally? Education is an important institution for the setup process and improving the quality of human resources. This indicates the principles of quality in it. So, we need education innovation in the broadest sense continuously and systematically. Some strategic issues include obstacles that can be used as a foothold for Islamic educational institutions to innovate, first, the quality of education is still low and high dropout rates. Second, has not exploited its full potential for the advancement of science and technology education due to lack of awareness and mastery of technology education actors. Third, the culture of learning in the community has not developed. Fourth, professionalism and welfare educators are not in accordance with the challenge of improving the quality. Fifth, declining health and nutritional status as a result of economic development. And sixth, symptoms of declining morals, manners, and tolerance among learners.The concept of student dormitories to be formed in this discussion is a hostel for students not to abandon the principles of the demands of competence and professionalism in line with the Asean Economic Community (AEC) or the Asean Economic Community (AEC), which has also been prepared by the government through various regulations. Islam-based education is not born solely of science and technology, they are born with the basic sciences as an educational framework to ensure that education is not free from the runway faith, the Shari’a and Islamic morals.

Abstract

The growing advances in the communication and information technology that is identified by the presence of social media have made changes in the relationship patterns between humans. Through the social media, people can be visually connected to each other without having to meet physically. Because of this, the exchange of values cannot be avoided. The result is a very fast change and exchange of values. This study is aimed to discuss the urgency of the social media literacy for Muslim youth in preparing the generation of Muslim youth into the global environment in the social media era. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The data used is library data. The result and discussion are that the Islamic education can be the basic capital to prepare the generation of Islamic youth entering the global environment. The values that are taught in Islam can be a filter for the current generation of Muslims to interact with the new media, one of which is the existence of social media platform.

Abstract

Studi ini menfokuskan pada kajian tentang konfigurasi, pengaruh dan rekonsiliasi antara fatwa-fatwa paham keagamaan MUI dengan politik keagamaan di Indonesia. Ada dua arus pemikiran yang saling bertentangan, yaitu Islam Liberal dan Islam Garis Keras pada era reformasi tahun 1998. Keadaan ini mendorong MUI untuk mengeluarkan fatwa-fatwa tentang hubungan agama, politik dan kebangsaan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang tepat dalam konteks keindonesiaan. Penemuan dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh fatwa terhadap pluralitas adalah, Pertama, fatwa MUI memiliki peran pendorong kristalisasi perbedaan dan munculnya konflik antar agama. Kedua, persoalan metodologi fatwa menjadi dasar perbedaan antara MUI dengan kelompok pluralisme agama. Konfigurasi relasional fatwa MUI dengan politik keagamaan adalah Pertama, adanya penjarakan fatwa dengan politik keagamaan. Kedua, adanya negosiasi antara fatwa dengan politik keagamaan. Ketiga, adanya interkoneksi fatwa dengan politik keagamaan. Rekonsiliasi fatwa dan politik keagamaan dapat dirumuskan dalam konsep fatwa ke-Indonesiaan. Kerangka berpikir fatwa ke-Indonesiaan, adalah pertama, merumuskan ruang lingkup qat’iyyâtdan ẓanniyyât, konsep maṣlaḥah al-‘âmmah, dan maqâṣid asy-syari’ah. Kedua, mempertimbangkan ‘urfyang beragam sebagai pijakan konsep kemaslahatan fatwa. Ketiga, secara metodologis dibutuhkan pemahaman sosiologi dan antropologi budaya dalam merumuskan fatwa. Keempat, perumusan fatwa dilakukan secara jama’idari berbagai lintas disiplin sehingga melahirkan pluralitas fatwa yang berbasis maqâṣid asy-syarî’ah

Abstract

Education quality assurance is an integral part of the education system Indonesian from early childhood to the high education. From approximately 215.356 schools, there are more than 50.000 primary to secondary education which is managed by the foundation of Islam and religious affairs ministry. Only about 37% institution were accredited. This means about 63% were still below national standard of education. Number of islamic education institution are quite a lot and there are many education institutions do not meet with the national quality assurance standard and give quality of graduated is not as expected. This paper aims to present about the need for standardization of quality assurance from the Islamic primary and secondary education in rder to unite and chsrscterize SNPs Kemendikbud that incorporate with Al-Quran and Al-Hadits as guidelines. This standard need to be formulated by forum composed of representativesof the institutions that organize school / madrasah islam in Indonesia, so the curriculum developed to meet the expected learning outcomes either Islamic standard education or KKNI.
