Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of maslahah values for the application of guarantees in debt contracts, because at the initial concept of debt contracts there is no guarantee in providing financing, but in practice there are guarantees that must be given by the customer to the capital provider as the application is strengthened. By the rule of law, for this reason it will be studied in more depth for benefits in the application of guarantees as the aim of maqashid sharia. The method used in this research is literature research which is60 qualitative in nature, data is collected using the documentary method, and descriptive analytical data analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the concept of having a guarantee in a debt contract is maslahah hajiyyah as the category of Imam Al-Syatibi’s thought, so that if it is abolished then it is likely to experience difficulties in the future, but the financing contract is still valid. The author is of the opinion that for the sake of achieving benefit it would be nice if guarantees were given in the form of rahn or kafalah because they are included in the category of protecting assets. Apart from considering the benefit, in muamalah one should not override orders to help each other and stick to a mutual agreement in the contract.

Abstract

The discussion about the dichotomy between science and religion is still not over. Epistemological and historical aspects are very important in forming the concept of scientific integration in order to end the problem of scientific dichotomy. This is a literature research that explores the problem of scientific dichotomy and the concept of Islamization of science epistemologically and historically as one of the concepts of scientific integration. The data in this research are thoughts and the data was collected from the literature of previous scholars and researchers. Analysis is carried out using context analysis. This research reveals that the problem of scientific dichotomy is caused by westernization of science. The idea of Islamization of Science is a solution to this problem because it means returning science to its nature (integrative and godly). It is hoped that this research will provide scientific insight for scholars and a philosophical basis for educational institutions in carrying out the educational process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the sleep time management of students at PPMI Assalaam and its impact. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data acquisition is based on findings in the field and with a literature approach. The research was conducted in December 2021. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative and interpretive, namely describing and giving meaning to the analyzed data to find relationships between various concepts. In this study, it was found that the rules for sleeping time for students at PPMI Assalaam were in the Tibsar (Santri Basic Order). Eighty percent of santri are obedient (sleeping according to the rules in tibsar) while fifteen to twenty percent of santri are disobedient. From the results of the study, it is recommended: (1) Tibsar published in 2019 article 29 regarding sleep there is no rule for napping for students so it needs to be rearranged. (2) There is a need for enlightenment of insight about sleep time management among students. (3) It needs to be clarified in chapter X Dormitory, article 28 number 6, regarding students not being allowed to turn off the bedtime light at bedtime. (4) To meet the sleeping hours of students (medical standards) it is necessary to have a new policy that supports sleep time management according to the sunnah of the apostle and medical. (5) In Tibsar, it is necessary to add a balanced reward and punishment.

Abstract

The concept of “Halalan Thayyiban” as it is described in the Qur’an and Hadith is examined in this paper along with its ethical implications for consumption, production, and distribution. The entire approach to nutrition is described in the verse from al-Baqarah: 168, “O people, eat from everything is on earth [that is] permissible and good or halalan thayyiban.” The term “eat” refers to more than just food consumption; it also refers to the ethical sourcing of food, its manufacture, including avoiding the use of tools from haram or dubious sources, as well as its storage, packaging, labelling, distribution, delivery, and adherence to fair trade principles. The phrase “from farm to fork” refers to the permissibility and wholesomeness along the entire supply chain. The only method of research used for this study was library research. The study discovered that by clarifying the halalan thayyiban ethical framework as specified in the Qur’an and Hadith, this paper adds to a greater comprehension of how Islamic ethics and current problems in the food sector interact.
