Abstract

This research aim to know influence: communication to performance of worker at Bagian Umum Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kerinci  Population in this research is Bagian Umum Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kerinci 33 persons. Intake sampel Technique by using technique survey/sensus, whereabout individual on population as sample so sum of sampel in this research as much 33 responder. Method data collecting in this research, obtained directly with spreading quesionery. Data analyse by using instrumen tes person product moment, t test and coefficient determinasi. Result this reasearch obtained communication influence positive and significance to performance of worker at Bagian Umum Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kerinci Coefficient Determinasi (Adjusted R2) equal to 0,6395 meaning is variabilitas variable dependen which can be explained by independent variabilitas variable equal to 40,90 % where Communication able to influence variable performance of worker by signifikan, while the rest equal to 59,10 %.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the effectivity of ludo word game as chemo-edutainment media to improve student learning outcomes in chemical bonding class 10th at SMAN 16 Padang. The type of this research is a quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research is class 10 MIA from SMAN 16 Padang. The sample of the research was taken by using purposive sampling technique. the chosen sample was class X MIA 1 as experiment class and class X MIA 3 as control class. The instrument was the test learning outcomes, which are the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest) in the form of 25 objective questions. The result of this research showed that there was difference in learning outcomes between the experiment class and control class. It is proven by posttest average of the experiment class and control class which are 82.6 and 77.3. Data analysis showed that the sample is normally distributed and homogeneous so that t test can be done, earned value t ≥ t1-α is 3.823 > 1.666 so H0 is reject. The data proved that the learning outcomes of experiment class are higher than the learning outcomes of control class. This is also supported by N-Gain value obtained experiment 0.75 with high category and control class 0.67 with medium category.   Keywords: effectivity, ludo word game, chemo-edutainment, chemical bonding, learning outcome

Abstract

Karudin Tarmizi is a figure who has fought in the PRRI era. He is a PRRI figure in Padang Pariaman District. The PRRI lasted from 1958 to 1961. He began the PRRI struggle at the age of 31 years. The guerrilla struggle made him far from the family he loved. This Padang Pariaman Regency, especially in the Sicincin area, is a base for the defense of the central army and also the PKI. The PRRI upheavel in Padanng Pariaman District occurred in this Sicincin area. Karudin Tarmizi and his other colleagues began their struggle from the Kudu area because this area was a very safe area at that time. And the struggle ended in the Sikabu area. This study uses a historical method consisting of four stages namely; First, heuristics which means finding or gathering sources. Second, criticizing sources, namely the sources that have been collected both in the form of objects, written sources and oral sources are then verified or tested through a series of criticism, both internal and external. Third, interpretation namely the historical facts that have been collected have not told much. These facts must be compiled and combined with each other so as to form the story of historical events. Fourth, historiography is the final stage of historical research. The writing of this biography is expected to add to the literacy and knowladge of the community about PRRI figures, especially in Padang Pariaman District.

Abstract

Proses penilaian kinerja merupakan salah satu kunci utama dalam system kinerja berorganisasi dalam sebuah lembaga pendidikan. Hal ini sering menjadi kurang perhatian oleh sebagian banyak guru sehingga pelaksanaan penilaian kinerja guru tidak berjalan sebagai mana mestinya. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu system pendukung keputusan yang bertujuan menganalisa kinerja guru secara cepat dan akurat. Dengan  metode profile matching yaitu menilai kinerja guru berdasarkan aspek-aspek penilaian kinerja guru yang telah ditentukan pihak sekolah. Proses yang dibangun dituangkan dalam bentuk system. Hasil dari penentuan aspek penilaian kinerja guru didapatkan beberapa aspek yang akan di akumulasikan dan perangkingan berdasarkan keputusan yang telah ditetapkan dan system akan menampilkan. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat ditentukan rangking guru tebaik selama beberapa dekade mendatang dan menjadi tauladan kerja untuk guru lainnya.                                                                                                              Kata kunci: Sistem pengambilan keputusan Profile Matching, Instrumen Penilaian Kinerja

Abstract

The type of research that used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) by using 4D development model (four D models). This study aims to produce an e-module based on the scientific approach on salt hydrolysis for students of XI grade SMA/MA and to determine the level of validity and practicality of the e-module that has been produced. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire of validity and practicality. The validity test were carried out by 3 chemistry lecturers and 2 chemistry teacher, while the practicality test was carried out on 30 students of XII grade IPA 1 of SMAN 1 Padang and 2 chemistry teachers of SMAN 12 Padang. From the results of data processing, the average kappa moment of the validity is 0,87 with a very high level of validity. While the practicality test obtained the average kappa moment of 0,88 both are from the teacher questionnaire and from the student questionnaire with a very high level of practicality. There for, an e-module based on a scientific approach has been produced in the salt hydrolysis materials for students of XI grade SMA/MA that is valid and practical.

Abstract

The reaction rate is a factual, conceptual and procedural chemical material. One method that can be applied in this learning is an experimental method that is integrated in learning. This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of integrated inquiry-based integrated reaction rate module experiments and science process skills on the learning outcomes of XI MIPA students at SMAN 7 Padang. This study included quasi-experimental research with aresearch non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIPA 6 and MIPA 7. Subjects were selected using purposive sampling technique. The object of research is student learning outcomes.. The research instrument used was the test of student learning outcomes namely the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest) in the form of 20 objective questions in accordance with the learning objectives. The average difference between initial values ​​and the final test of the experimental class (53.53) and the control class (35.7). Based on data analysis shows that the subject is normally distributed and homogeneous so that it can be carried out t-test, obtained value t ≥ t1-α that is 4,432> 1.66901 then reject Ho. This means that the experimental class learning outcomes are higher than the control class significantly. This is also supported by the experimental class n-gain value of 0.73 in the high category. Based on the data analysis shows the integrated inquiry-based rate rate module integrated experimentation and science process skills proved to be effective against learning outcomes with a high category.   Keywords: effectiveness, modules, guided inquiry, integrated experimentation, learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research aims to find the correlation between teachear performance, learning motivation, and chemistry learning achievement on acid based topic in SMAN 5 Padang and their contribution for the learning achivement. The method of the research is correlation reserach with Ex-post factodisign with a quantititative approach. The population of the research are the whole students of grade XII MIA in SMAN 5 Padang for academical year 2018/2019, with the total amount of 178 students. The sampel taken by using clauter random sampling technique with a total of 64 students.Data colection using questionnaire and documentation. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) There is a positive and significant correlation between teacher performance with chemistry learning achievement on acid based topic in SMAN 5 Padang. It can be seen from the data analysis result showed r = 0,42 and t hitung = 3,64. (2) There is a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation with chemistry learning achievement on acid based topic in SMAN 5 Padang. It can be seen from the data analysis result showed r = 0,37 and t count = 3,18. (3) There is a positive and significant correlation between teachear performance and learning motivation with chemistry learning achievement on acid based topic in SMAN 5 Padang. It can be seen from the data analysis result showed r = 0,49 and F count = 9,63.(4) There is constribution between teachear performance withlearning achievement17,6%; constribution between learning motivation with learning achievement14%; and togethers constribution between teachear performance and learning motivation with learning achievement 24,3% Keywords: teachear performance, learning motivation, and chemistry learning achievement

Abstract

Buffer solution is one of the lessons that are considered difficult by students. This is because in learning the buffer solution has a lot of prior knowledge, which must be understood by students in order to understand the buffer solution. This research means to analyze the relationship of prior knowledge with students' learning difficult in learning buffer solutions in SMA N 1Solok. This research is a descriptive study conducted on class XI students of SMA N 1 Solok. The research subjects were 47 students. Data analysis techniques are carried out quantitative means at determining the percentage of students' learning difficulties in learning buffer solutions and the percentage of learning difficulties in the prior knowledge. From the research found the percentage of students experiencing learning difficulties with a very high category, namely the subject matter of the capacity of the buffer solution 92.3% and the pH of the buffer solution 83%, then the percentage with a high category on the subject matter of the mechanism of the buffer solution is 74.5%, and the moderate category in the material the properties of the buffer solution is 65.3%.  Learning difficulties by students are caused students do not understand the prior knowledge which is a prerequisite for learning buffer solutions in the form of chemical equilibrium, equilibrium constants, Brownsted-Lowry acid base concepts and acid base stoichiometry.   Keyword:  Prior Knowledge, Learning Difficulties, Buffer Solution

Abstract

This study was backgrounded by the availability of chemistry ludo educative game as learning media on chemical bonding lesson that has not been tested its effectivity to the study result of students. This study aims to reveal the effectivity level of the use of chemistry Ludo Educative Game as Learning Media on chemical bonding lesson to the study result of 10th grade student of SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung. The type of this study is pseudo experiment with non-equivalent control group designas the study design. The populations in this study are the 10th grade student of SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung. The sampling of this study was taken by purposive sampling technique. The class of X MIPA 2 is an experiment class and the class of X MIPA 1 is a control class. The data analysis techniques conducted in this study are N-Gain test and average equality test (t-test). The result of the study showed that there is an understanding improvement in both classes. The experiment class showed better understanding improvement compare to the control class. this is proven by pretest marks of the students in the both class which have 83,61 and 77,88 as the pretest mark. This is also proven by the average value of N-gain test. The experiment class got 0,78 with high category and control class got 0,67 with medium category. It  is also supported by the significant value of t-test for both classes. 0,001< 0,05 (α) is the significant value of t-test which indicates that hypothesis is received. Abstract

Palm oil is one of the vegetable oils that can be used as diesel fuel (biodiesel) through a transesterification reaction with alcohol assisted in the form of a solid acid catalyst (activated carbon). Solid acid catalyst can be made from cassava skin carbon by being hydrolyzed to produce carbon at 250 oC. Next the carbon is sulfonated chemically with 98% H2SO4 solution. In this research, biodiesel was made through a transesterification reaction between bimoli and methanol oil with a ratio of 6: 1, and using a catalyst with sulfonation variation of 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, and 8 hours. The reaction lasts 65 oC and takes 2 hours. The properties of solid acid catalysts were identified using FTIR and XRD. The results of FTIR spectra characterization show that at wave number 1100-1200 cm-1 there is a group O = S = O which is covalently bonded with the carbon structure in each sample of SCCP. The results of the maximum percentage of sulfonate fraction are located at 6 hours of sulfonation time using XRF. The results of biodiesel obtained were tested for physical properties such as density, flow rate and acid number. Keywords—Solid acid catalyst, cassava peel, sulfonated carbon, biodiesel.
