Abstract

Colligative properties of solution is one of the chemical material that is abstract and uses many calculations so that this material is considered difficult by students. But participants can understand the material if guided to build their knowledge by discovering their own concepts and placing students as subjects of learning. The one of learning model that can be used to study the colligative properties of the solution according to the material characteristics is a guided inquiry model. This study aims to develop a module of colligative properties of guided inquiry-based solutions integrated with experiments, as well as expressing the validity and practicality of the module. This study included research and development (R & D) using the 4-D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The research instruments used were questionnaires in the form of validity and practical sheets. Based on the results of the validity test, the average kappa moment value was 0.88 with a very high validity category. The results of practicality tests by teachers and students were respectively 0.92 and 0.82 with very high practicality categories. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the module of the colligative nature of the integrated inquiry-based inquiry solution for the high school students produced is valid and practice.   Keywords: Colligative properties of solution, guide inqury, module, reseacrh and development (R&D)

Abstract

Abstrak MTsN 7 Padang is one of the formal education institutions located Jln. Kayu Aro, the village of Bungus Barat, Bungus Bay, Kabung, Padang. At first this Madrasa was named MTsN Bungus Teluk Kabung. This Madrasah was established in 1989 with the status of a private madrasah. In 1995 the madrasah changed its status to a public madrasah based on the decree of the religious department of the province of West Sumatra no. 515 A on November 25, 1995 with accreditation B, and since then the madrasah changed its name to MTsN Bungus Teluk Kabung. Continue to make improvements both in terms of physical and academic. The biggest changes experienced by this madrasah occurred in 2015, this year status of madrasah accreditation changed to A and the madrasah continued to grow until 2016. The madrasah became a madrasah a madrasah with the highest UN score in the city of Padang.in 2017 the madrasah changed its name to MTsN 7 Padang. This madrasah continues to increase from the initial only an ordinary madrasah located on the edge of the city of Padang is now on of the pre-eminent madrasah in the city of Padang that rival other madrasah in the city center. This madrasah is the main choice for people in Bungus Teluk Kabung sub-district as place of education for their children. This study aims to see the growth experienced by Padang 7 MTsN starting from the begining of its establishment until 2017. This research is a type of qualitative research with historical methods consisting of four stages namely heuristic, source criticism, interpretation and historiography.

Abstract

Abstract Colligative Propertise of Solutions is material in chemistry that contain abstract concept, many  students having difficulties in understanding and applying these concepts. So that,  many students having misconception in any material in Colligative Propertise of Solutions. It is easier for students to understand the concept if they are guided to construct their knowledge by finding the concept by themselves  and if they are placed as the subject of study. One of Learning Model that can be used to learn Colligative Propertise of Solutions material that is compatible by its material characteristic is Problem Based Learning Model. This research aims to determine validity and practicallity category from the Module developed. This is Research and Development (R&D) with 4-D Model, that produce a product. 4-D Model consist of four steps: (1) Define (2) Design (3) Develop and (4) Disseminate. The instruments are validity questionnaire and practicallity questionnaire. Data collection technique by spreading the questionnaires and the research result data were analized by Kappa Cohen formula. Analysis result of validity questionnaire shows Moment Kappa Value 0,81 and chategorized very valid. Analysis result of practicallity from teachers are 0,84 (very practice) and students are 0,77 (very practice). Abstract

Mathematics communication skill are abilities that are very important in learning mathematics that must be owned by students. But the mathematical communication skill in mathematics learning in class eight of junior high school 1 Lubuk Alung are still low. The solution is to apply the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study to see the differences in mathematical communication skill of students who learn to use the Problem Based Learning model with students who learn to use conventional learning models. This study uses a quasi experimental design Randomize Control Group Only . The sampling technique was Simple Random Sampling, and class VIII 9 as the experimental class and VIII 8 as the control class. Research instrumens for measuring mathematical communication skill are questions in the form of essays. The results of the study indicate that the mathematical communication skill of students who study with Problem Based Learning model are better than students what study to use conventional learning in class eight of junior high school 1 Lubuk Alung. Abstract

This research is motivated by the availability of a snake ladder chemical game media on chemical bonding material that has not been tested for effectiveness on student learning outcomes. This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of the use of snake ladder chemical media on chemical bonding material on the learning outcomes of class X SMA / MA students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The design of this study is Pre-experiment, One Group Pretest-Posstest Design. The population in this study were students of class X IPA SMAN 1 2x11 Kayu Tanam. The research sample was taken by using probability sampling techniques so that the class X MIPA 3 was selected as the sample class. The data analysis technique used is the N-Gain test and the Normality test. The results showed that the lowest gain value was 0.4 (medium), while the highest gain was 1.00 (high). Average Gain is 0.76 (high). In the data processing technique with SPSS 16 for the sample test it was found that the sample was not normally distributed and Wilcoxon showed that the significance value produced was 0,000 <0,05 from the significance level showing the media playing chemical snakes and ladders improving learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the use of media snakes and ladders games is effectively used in chemistry subjects especially in chemical bonding material.

Abstract

One of methods that is often used to absorb heavy metal ions is biosorption. Research has been used on the absorption of Zn + 2 heavy metal ions using longan seeds as biomass batch method. Variations that affect the absorption of heavy metal ions such as pH, concentration, particle size, contact time and stirring speed, from each variation carried out found optimum conditions at pH 5 of 11, 8475 mg / g, 200 ppm concentration, 106 µm particle size, 60 minutes of contact time at 150 rpm has a maximum absorption capacity of 2.8868 mg / g. Interaction between the adsorbent and the adsorbate was determined using the langmuir and freadlich equations in the research of this time to have aiquired balance that fulfilled langmuir equation, while the characterization was determined using FTIR.   Keywords: heavy metal Zn+2, euphoria longan lour, batch.

Abstract

This research aimed to produce Chemistry Ludo base on Chemo-Edutainment (CET) as a Learning Media on Colloid System Chemical for class XI SMA/MA and determined the validity and practicalty of this media. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D) with a 4-D models, (1) define, (2) design, (3) develope, and (4) disseminate. This media was validated by three lecturers of Kimia FMIPA UNP and two chemistry teachers at SMAN 7 Padang. Determination of the practicality was carried out by two chemistry teachers at SMAN 7 Padang and 30 students XII IPA 4 at SMAN 7 Padang. The instrumen used were  questionnaire validity and practicality. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires and analized using the Cohen Kappa formula. From the data analysis, it was found that  Chemistry ludo based on CET had validity 0,81 with a very high validity category. The practicality by teachers and students was  0,99 and 0,92 with very high practicality categories. This data shows that Chemistry Ludo base on CET developed can be used as a learning media on Colloid System for class XI SMA/MA.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika pada siswa kelas 1 (satu) SD Negeri 20 Sitiung menggunakan benda-benda kongkrit. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu, Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan Tindakan, Observasi, dan Refleksi. Sebagai subjek adalah siswa kelas 1 (satu) SD Negeri 20 Sitiung Kecamatan Sitiung Kabupaten Dharmasraya yang berjumlah 28 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 orang siswa laki- laki dan 18 orang siswa perempuan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada siklus kedua hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa setelah diberikan tindakan meningkat dari siklus pertama yaitu dengan menggunakan media batu kerikil nilai rata-rata siswa dari 80,35 menjadi 91,07. Ketuntasan belajar siswa juga sudah tuntas dengan persentase ketuntasan 100% melebihi kriteria ketuntasan minimum yaitu 75%.

The aims of the research is to develop teaching materials in the form of student work sheets (SWS) on haloalkana problem based learning and to reveal its validity and practicalities. The type of this research is Research and Development with 4-D development models which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is limited to develop stage. The research instrument used a questionnaire validity and practicality. The questionnaire of validity is filled by lecture and teacher. The questionnaire of practicality is filled by students in SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir. Data from this research will be analyzed using Cohen’s kappa formula. Based on the analysis of questionnaire known that LKPD produced has a very high validity category (κ=0,83); very high practicality (κ=0,88) based on teacher judgement; and high practicality (κ=0,79) based on student judgement.
