This research analyzes the implementation of the Anti-Money Laundering Law in the case of illegal investment on the Binomo platform. The investigation involves alleged violations of the ITE Law, the Money Laundering Law, the Indonesian Criminal Code, and futures trading regulations related to illegal investments causing financial losses to victims. Reports from the public have led to legal actions involving the Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim Polri) concerning these investment-related legal violations. Following their identification as suspects, victims of illegal investment have filed claims for compensation, while institutions such as the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) have provided information on restitution or compensation available under Law No. 31 of 2014. This case also highlights the role of applications like Binomo in money laundering, resulting in significant losses for the victims. Discussions encompass the modus operandi of perpetrators, government efforts in blocking related websites, and the crucial conclusion regarding the importance of robust law implementation to safeguard the public and prevent detrimental illegal practices.

This study examines the legal implications and obstacles that arise in the context of bankruptcy and the postponement of debt payment obligations, particularly concerning the settlement agreement between debtors and creditors. The primary focus is on the consequences of the rejection of the homologation of a settlement agreement, wherein the debtor is subsequently declared bankrupt and prohibited from seeking further attempts at reconciliation, in accordance with Article 175 paragraph (1) of the Indonesian Bankruptcy Law (UUK-PKPU).The research delves into the practical implications of bankruptcy, where the curator is responsible for managing the debtor's assets and distributing them to creditors. Concurrent creditors, despite having priority in the distribution of assets, may face the risk of losses if the assets are insufficient to cover the entire debt.Furthermore, obstacles to legal protection for concurrent creditors are also discussed, including bad faith in settlement agreements, such as collusion between debtors and creditors. The condition where the debtor's assets exceed the agreed-upon value in the settlement agreement is also a concern, with the court playing a role in ensuring a fair distribution of assets.By exploring these various aspects, this paper provides a comprehensive overview of the complex dynamics involved in situations of bankruptcy and the postponement of debt payment obligations. It offers insights into the key roles played by the court, creditors, and debtors in the relevant legal context.

Legal politics have a significant impact in the era of globalization and economic growth, especially in the context of the use of Foreign Labor in Indonesia's national strategic projects. While the liberalization of foreign labor is intended to support foreign investment and infrastructure development, it has also raised issues regarding the legal politics related to the liberalization of foreign labor use in national strategic projects from the perspective of the Job Creation Law, and how these legal politics impact local employment. The research methodology employed in this study is juridical normative, using legal regulations as the basis for analyzing these issues. The research results indicate that the legal politics in the form of policy that has led to the liberalization of foreign labor use has created inequality in employment opportunities between Foreign Labor and local workers, making it difficult for local workers to find suitable employment. This is due to the government being the employer of Foreign Labor, with the authority to regulate their use in national strategic projects. The implications of liberalizing the use of Foreign Labor have had an impact on employment opportunities and the welfare of local workers, which has led to an unbalanced situation in national strategic projects. The dependence on Foreign Labor increases project costs, while trained local workers can reduce them.

This research tries to find legal solutions related to criminal liability carried out by autonomous agents of artificial intelligence (AI). In this research, problems related to the development of AI-based intelligent robots are increasingly sophisticated and have capabilities similar to humans. This resemblance of AI entities to humans has consequences with actions taken, especially those that can have a negative impact or attack legal interests. Therefore, further regulation is needed related to artificial intelligence accountability as one of the legal entities in criminal law in Indonesia. Then it is also necessary to include AI as a legal subject as a consideration in the future with the hope that AI can be held criminally responsible for their actions that attack legal interests, given the massive development of technology and information that allows everything to be done through AI intermediaries.

The purpose of this research is to analyse how the balance of power in Indonesia is reflected through the harmonisation of judicial institutions, namely between the Constitutional Court (MK) and the Supreme Court (MA). This research is written through a normative juridical approach by relying on existing secondary data. The result of this research is that harmonisation between the Constitutional Court (MK) and the Supreme Court (MA) plays an important role in maintaining the balance of power in Indonesia, especially in the context of constitutional law. There is disharmony between the two institutions in several decisions, such as in the case of the nomination of DPD RI candidates in the 2019 simultaneous elections, which shows the need for better coordination between the two institutions to ensure clarity and harmony in constitutional law regulations. Proper coordination between the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court, such as in the case of interfaith marriage, can provide clarity and harmony in regulations. In addition, efforts to maintain harmonisation between the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court also include amending the 1945 Constitution and ensuring that decisions or actions of other government institutions remain within the corridors of the law. This shows the need for the aforementioned concrete efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in order to achieve harmonisation in Indonesia's legal system.
