Abstract

Penggunaan benih bermutu dan bersertifikat adalah langkah awal untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dalam suatu usaha pertanian. Permasalahannya, persepsi dan apresiasi petani terhadap benih bermutu dan bersertifikat masih sangat beragam. Oleh karena itu diperlukan kegiatan penyuluhan untuk memberikan wawasan dan pemahaman kepada para petani tentang benih bermutu dan bersertifikat didalam usaha pertanian. Kegiatan penyuluhan terkait benih bermutu dan bersertifikat dilakukan dalam kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik di Desa Payabenua Kabupaten Bangka. Kegiatan tersebut dihadiri oleh petani dan masyarakat. Narasumber berasal dari Balai Pengawasan dan Sertifikasi Mutu Benih dan Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Digunakan kuisioner untuk mengetahui respon petani setelah mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan. Persepsi dan apresiasi petani di desa Payabenua berubah setelah mengikuti penyuluhan. Para petani yang awalnya belum menggunakan benih bermutu dan bersertifikat setelah mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan akan menggunakan benih bermutu dan bersertifikat untuk kegiatan usaha taninya. Terdapat kendala di petani untuk dapat mengakses benih bermutu dan bersertifikat yaitu terkait harga dan kesesuaian varietas. Perlu dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan yang terjadwal dan rutin agar wawasan petani yang bertambah dapat diikuti dengan pemahaman tentang pentingnya benih bermutu dan bersertifikat. The problem is that farmers' perceptions and appreciation of quality and certified seeds are still very diverse. Therefore extension activities are needed to provide insight and understanding to farmers about quality and certified seeds in agricultural business. Counseling activities related to quality and certified seeds were carried out in the Thematic Real Work Lecture activities in Payabenua Village, Bangka Regency. The activity was attended by farmers and the community. The resource persons came from the Center for Supervision and Certification of Seed Quality and the Center for Agricultural Technology Studies of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Questionnaires were used to find out the response of farmers after participating in counseling activities. The perception and appreciation of farmers in Payabenua village changed after attending counseling. Farmers who initially did not use quality and certified seeds after participating in extension activities will use quality and certified seeds for their farming activities. There are obstacles for farmers to be able to access quality and certified seeds, namely related to price and suitability of varieties. It is necessary to carry out scheduled and routine extension activities so that farmers' increased insight can be followed by an understanding of the importance of quality and certified seeds. Abstract

Jamur tiram merupakan jenis jamur yang lezat untuk dikonsumsi dan memiliki nilai gizi yang tinggi. Kelompok Wanita Tani Limau Manis Sejahtera (KWT LMS) memiliki usaha budidaya jamur tiram. Kendala yang ada pada KWT LMS yaitu apabila terjadi panen yang melimpah maka jamur tiram tidak terjual di Pasar. Jamur memiliki sifat yang sama dengan sayuran yaitu mudah mengalami kerusakan dan menjadi busuk jika tidak segera diolah cepat dan tepat. Salah satu produk olahan yang bisa dikembangkan yaitu penyedap alami berbahan baku jamur tiram putih. Tujuan dari program ini adalah anggota KWT LMS dapat memiliki keterampilan dalam membuat penyedap alami berbahan jamur tiram, meningkatkan kondisi perekonomian dengan melakukan diversifikasi (keanekaragaman) produk pangan berbahan baku jamur tiram. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terbagi menjadi tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelatihan teknik pembuatan penyedap alami jamur tiram, dan bimbingan lanjut. Farmer Women's Group 'Limau Manis Sejahtera' (KWT LMS) has an oyster mushroom cultivation business. The obstacle in KWT LMS is that if there is an abundant harvest, oyster mushrooms can only sell some in the market. Mushrooms have the same properties as vegetables, easily damaged and rotten if not processed quickly and precisely. One processed product that can be developed is a natural flavouring made from white oyster mushrooms. This program aims for KWT LMS members to have skills in making natural flavourings from oyster mushrooms, improving economic conditions by diversifying (diversity) food products made from oyster mushrooms. The method of implementing this activity is divided into three stages: the preparation stage, the training stage for the natural oyster mushroom flavouring technique, and further guidance. Abstract

Rendahnya rasio kewirausahaan di Indonesia akibat beberapa masalah krusial seperti akses permodalan yang sulit, rendahnya pengetahuan mengenai wirausaha, kurangnya inovasi, serta stigma masyarakat yang cenderung berminat menjadi karyawan. Permasalahan serupa juga terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, salah satunya di Desa Ulak Banding. Masyarakat Ulak Banding tidak memiliki akses pasar sendiri sehingga pengetahuan tentang perdagangan dan kewirausahaan masih terbilang rendah. Oleh karena itu, Tim Pengabdian Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya akan melakukan pelatihan pemberdayaan kewirausahaan bagi masyarakat non-produktif dengan memanfaatkan peluang usaha kuliner khas Sumatera Selatan menggunakan sumber daya alam perikanan sebagai salah satu pendamping dari pertanian yaitu pempek yang berprotein tinggi. Mayoritas mata pencarian utama masyarakat Desa Ulak Banding sebagai petani dan nelayan. Dengan demikian, peluang ini dapat memberikan kemudahan proses pembuatan, bahan mentah dan biaya yang rendah. Model kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Ulak Banding dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan keilmuan wirausaha yang memberikan nilai tambah bagi masyarakat serta penginisiasian kewirausahaan dengan ceramah, diskusi serta experimental learning diiringi pendampingan dengan pendekatan partisipatif di mana melibatkan peran masyarakat secara langsung dalam berbagai proses pelaksanaan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membentuk usaha rumah tangga agar kegiatan ekonomi di Desa Ulak Banding menjadi lebih aktif. Similar problems are also rife in the community of Ogan Ilir Regency, one of which is in Ulak Banding Village. The Ulak Banding community whose main livelihood is as farmers, do not have their own market access so that their knowledge about trade and entrepreneurship is still relatively low. The local government also did not make efforts to establish people's businesses or household businesses. Therefore, we will conduct entrepreneurship empowerment training for non-productive communities by taking advantage of culinary business opportunities typical of South Sumatra using fishery natural resources as one of the companions of agriculture, namely Pempek lenjer and high protein egg pempek. Because of the ease of the manufacturing process, raw materials and low costs. The model of community empowerment activities in Ulak Banding Village in this activity is entrepreneurship scientific training that provides added value to the community as well as initiating entrepreneurship with lectures, discussions and experiential learning accompanied by assistance with a participatory approach which involves the role of the community directly in various process implementation activities. This activity received a positive response from the community. It is hoped that this activity can form a household business so that economic activities in Ulak Banding Village become more active. Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kepada masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu rumah tangga (IRT) tentang pentingnya diversifikasi olahan ikan lele. Ikan lele merupakan ikan yang mudah diperoleh serta mempunyai nilai ekonomis yang tinggi namun memiliki nilai sosial yang rendah. Masyarakat pada umumnya tidak menyukai ikan lele dikarenakan habitatnya dan kebiasaan ikan lele pemakan segalanya sehingga menimbulkan kesan jorok. Diversifikasi olahan ikan lele ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah ikan lele. Tujuan yang kedua yaitu memberdayakan masyarakat dengan membentuk suatu kelompok usaha bersama olahan ikan lele yaitu stik ikan lele dan stik tulang lele. Upaya pembentukan kelompok usaha bersama ini diharapkan dapat membantu memberikan alternatif penghasilan tambahan pada masyarakat khususnya pada masa pandemi serta memberikan gizi pada setiap keluarga yang murah dan mudah didapat demi meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini yaitu dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan diversifikasi produk olahan dengan konsep zerro waste. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat tentang diversifikasi olahan ikan lele serta terbentuknya sebuah kelompok usaha bersama dengan produk utama stik ikan dan stik tulang ikan. Kata kunci: diversifikasi, ekonomi keluarga, gizi, kelompok usah,; ikan lele ABSTRACT This activity aimed to transfer knowledge and skills to the community, especially housewives (IRT) about the importance of fish product diversification. Catfish is one of a fish that is easily obtained and has a high economic value, but has a low social value. In general, people do not like catfish due to their habitat and their habit on eating. Diversification of fish products was hoped increasing value added of catfish. Another aimed were to empowering society by formed business unit of product diversification from catfish, that were fish stick and fish bone stick. Business unit was hoping to increased family income, especially during the pandemic to maintain the family economy and provide cheap and easy-to-obtain nutrition to increase imunity. The method was used in this activity was counseling and training on products diversification with the zerro waste concept. The activity resulted the ability to process various products of catfish without waste, including fish sticks and fishbone stick.. This activity also resulted in the formation of a business unit with the main products being fish sticks and fish bone sticks. Abstract

Desa Sungai Mesjid memiliki keindahan alam dan budaya Melayu yang masih terjaga. Pembentukan Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) Alam Sungai Mesjid membuat potensi Desa sebagai desa ekowisata mulai dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Peningkatan pembangunan di Dumai membuat berkurangnya daerah resapan air serta penanggulangan sampah yang kurang baik turut memberi dampak tergenangnya beberapa daerah di Desa ini. Masyarakat berkeinginan mewujudkan desa yang hijau minim dari sampah dan genangan air jika hujan namun terkendala dengan pengetahuan dan biaya. Edukasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan pembuatan biopori sebagai resapan air dan penghasil kompos akan dapat mengurangi genangan air hujan dan mengatasi sampah organik. Metode penerapan kegiatan berupa presentasi, diskusi kelompok, praktek pembuatan lubang biopori, pemberian peralatan serta monitoring keberlanjutan pasca kegiatan. Selama kegiatan pelatihan terlihat adanya motivasi dan kesadaran masyarakat akan manfaat biopori. Pembuatan biopori tetap berlanjut pasca kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat secara mandiri dan menjadikan teknologi pembuatan biopori sebagai salah satu paket eduwisata Desa Alam Sungai Masjid, sebagai upaya edukasi kepada masyarakat luas dan daya tarik wisata. Kata kunci: biopori, desa wisata, eduwisata, genangan, kompos Abstract Sungai Mesjid has wonderful scenery and Malay culture that are still preserved. The development of the Alam Sungai Mesjid Tourism Awareness Community (POKDARWIS) made the potential of the village as an ecotourism in order to improve the community’s economy during the Covid-19 pandemic. The increase in recent development in Dumai has reduced water catchment areas and poor waste management, and also impacted the inundation of several areas in this village. The community wants to create a green village where is minimal from garbage and puddles when rain falls, but it is constrained by knowledge and costs. Education and empowerment of society by making biopore as a water catchment and producing compost will be able to reduce rainwater puddles and overcome organic waste. The method of implementing the activity is a presentation, group discussion, practice of making biopore holes, provision of equipment and post-activity monitoring of sustainability. During the training activities, it was seen there were motivation and public awareness of benefits biopore. The development of biopore continues after the activities carried out by the community independently and makes biopore technology as one of the edutourism packages of Alam Sungai Masjid Village, as an educational effort to wider community and tourist attraction. Abstract

Adapun masalah pada kelompok Budidaya Jamur Tiram di KWT Jawa Gadut Saiyo Limau Manis Pauh Kota Padang yaitu harus menjaga suhu dan kelembaban, secara langsung dan terus menerus agar jamur tiram di kumbung berkembang dengan baik. Selain itu juga permasalahan dalam pengisian baglog yang butuh waktu dan tenaga ekstra serta mesin kukus yang masih sederhana. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut maka diperlukan penerapan teknologi pada usaha budidaya jamur tiram untuk mendukung urban farming dalam hal sistem otomatisasi meliputi aspek suhu dan kelembaban; alat press baglog; wadah kukus baglog; serta sistem monitoring kumbung secara jarak jauh. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu kelembaban secara otomatis dalam rentang kisaran 80% s/d 92% dan suhu rentang 25oC s/d 29oC. Pembuatan baglog lebih ringan dan hasilnya lebih padat serta hanya membutuhkan waktu 1 menit / baglog. Dan wadah kukus baglog lebih praktis berbentuk lemari yang berkapasitas maksimal 144 baglog. Kata kunci: suhu, kelembaban, baglog, kumbung, monitoring ABSTRACT As for the problem in the Cultivation group Oyster Mushrooms in KWT Jawa Gadut Saiyo Limau Manis Pauh, Padang City, that is, they must maintain temperature and humidity, directly and continuously so that the oyster mushrooms in the kumbung develop properly. Apart from that, there are also problems in filling baglog which requires extra time and effort and the steaming machine is still simple. To solve this problem, it is necessary to apply technology to oyster mushroom cultivation to support urban farming in terms of automation systems covering aspects of temperature and humidity; baglog presses; baglog steam container; as well as remote kumbung monitoring system. The results obtained are humidity automatically in the range of 80% to 92% and temperatures in the range of 25oC to 29 oC. Making baglog is lighter and the results are denser and only takes 1 minute/baglog. And the baglog steamer is more practical in the form of a cupboard with a maximum capacity of 144 baglog. Abstract

Eco enzyme merupakan cairan hasil fermentasi sampah organik seperti ampas buah dan sayur dicampur gula dan air. Salah satu contoh sampah organik yang dapat diolah menjadi eco enzyme adalah kulit bawang. Kulit bawang mengandung zat antioksidan dan antimikroba. Selain itu, kulit bawang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pestisida alami dan pupuk. Pembuatan eco enzyme dari kulit bawang dilakukan dengan mencampurkan kulit bawang, gula dan air dengan perbandingan 3:1:10. Pengolahan sampah kulit bawang menjadi produk eco enzyme belum dikenal luas oleh masyarakat. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi bagi masyarakat tentang pengolahan eco enzyme dari kulit bawang dan bagaimana aplikasinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seperti pada sediaan sabun pencuci piring. Kegiatan ini dapat menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan sampah organik dan memiliki nilai secara ekonomi bagi masyarakat dengan membuat sediaan sabun pencuci piring. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah sampah organik melalui publikasi di media masa dan publikasi ilmiah. It produced by fermenting the organic waste such as fruit and vegetable pulp which mixed with sugar and water. One example of organic waste that can be processed into eco-enzyme is onion peel. Onion peel contains antioxidants and antimicrobial substances. In addition, onion peel can be used as a natural pesticide and fertilizer. Making eco enzyme from onion peel is done by mixing onion peels, sugar and water in a ratio of 3:1:10. The processing of onion peel into eco-enzyme products is not widely known by the public. This training aims to provide information for the public about the processing of eco-enzyme from onion peels and how to apply it in daily life such as in dishwashing soap. This activity can be a solution to the problem of organic waste and has economic value for the community. In addition, this training also aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the community in processing organic waste through publications in the mass media and scientific publications. Produksi sampah rumah tangga di wilayah kota Tangerang Selatan terus mengalami peningkatan jumlah setiap tahunnya seiring dengan bertambahnya laju pertumbuhan penduduk, dan sampah organik menempati proporsi terbesar dari total produksi sampah tersebut. Salah satu cara efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan sampah rumah tangga yakni, dengan memotong alur distribusi sampah yang menuju Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) melalui pembuatan eco-enzyme. Eco-enzyme adalah ekstrak cairan yang dihasilkan dari fermentasi sisa-sisa sayuran atau buah-buahan yang dicampur dengan substrat gula merah. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat di wilayah RT 04, RW 09, Pondok Ilir, Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan Banten melalui praktik pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi 1) pembentukan struktur organisasi kelompok penggerak, 2) pemberian penyuluhan tentang eco-enzyme, 3) pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan eco-enzyme, 4) monitoring pembuatan eco-enzyme, dan 5) pendampingan panen eco-enzyme. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pemanfaatan sisa-sisa bahan sayuran dan buah-buahan yang sudah tidak dikonsumsi di lingkungan rumah tangganya untuk dijadikan eco-enzyme. Cairan ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pembersih serba guna, pupuk, perbaikan kualitas udara, dan pemanfaatan lainnya di kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata kunci: Eco-enzyme, pemberdayaan masyarakat, pelatihan, sampah organik, sampah rumah tangga ABSTRACT The production of household waste in the city area of South Tangerang continues to increase every year in line with the increasing rate of population growth, and organic waste occupies the largest proportion of the total waste production. One effective way to deal with household waste problems is to cut the waste distribution channel to the Final Disposal Site (FDS) through the manufacture of eco-enzymes. Eco-enzyme is a liquid extract produced from the fermentation of vegetable or fruit residue mixed with brown sugar as a substrate. This Community Service Activity aims to empower the community in the area of RT 04, RW 09, Pondok Ilir, Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan Banten through practical training on making eco-enzymes. The implementation method includes: 1) forming the organizational structure of the driving group; 2) providing counseling about eco-enzymes; 3) training and mentoring for eco-enzyme production, 4) monitoring for eco-enzyme production, and 5) providing eco-enzyme harvesting assistance. The results of the activity show that the community has acquired knowledge and skills regarding the use of vegetable and fruit leftovers that are no longer consumed in their household environment to be used as eco-enzymes. This liquid can be used as a multi-purpose cleaner, fertilizer, air quality improvement agent, and for other purposes in everyday life. Abstract

Jahe merupakan jenis rimpang paling banyak dibudidayakan oleh petani hutan rakyat Desa Gempolan, Kecamatan Kerjo, Kabupaten Karanganyar. Pada umumnya, jahe di tanam di bawah tegakan tanaman keras melalui sistem agroforestri. Selama ini hasil panen berupa jahe segar dijual langsung ke pasar. Namun, seringkali harga jual di pasar fluktuatif sehingga petani enggan menjual pada saat tersebut. Apabila kondisi tersebut berkepanjangan, maka jahe yang disimpan akan busuk. Oleh karena itu, Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) D’Sekar mengolah jahe menjadi produk minuman jahe instan agar dapat meningkatkan harga jual sekaligus memberikan pemasukan tambahan bagi keluarga. Akan tetapi, hingga saat ini produk minuman jahe instan yang dibuat oleh KWT D’Sekar masih sangat sederhana dan belum menggunakan Standard Operasional Procedure (SOP) produksi, sehingga dalam mengontrol kualitas produksi tiap batch sulit dilakukan. Selain itu, kemasan yang digunakan masih sangat sederhana dan belum memiliki izin edar Produksi Pangan Industri Rumah Tangga (PIRT). Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan meliputi penyuluhan, penawaran perbaikan kemasan produk minuman jahe instan, dan pendampingan dalam pengurusan PIRT. Melalui pengabdian kepada masyarakat, diharapkan akan meningkatkan produksi, daya jual dan pada akhirnya bermuara pada peningkatan kesejahteraan anggota KWT D’Sekar. Kerjo District, Karanganyar Regency. Ginger was planted under forest stands though agroforesty. The harvested ginger was sold directly to the market. However, the ginger selling price was fluctuates, thus the farmers were reluctant to sell at that time. If this condition was prolonged, the stored ginger will rot. Therefore, the Woman Farmers Group (WFG) D’Sekar processes ginger into instant gingger drink product in order to increase the selling price while providing additional income for their family. However, instant gingger drink product that made by WFG D’Sekar was simple and not use production Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) yet. Therefore, controling the production quality of each batch was difficult. In addition, the packaging used was very simple and not yet have food distribution permit, Home Industry Food Production (HIFP). Though community service, it was expected to be able increase on instant gingger drink production, marketability, and lead into increasing family walfare of WFG D’Sekar members. Abstract

Tingginya penggunaan obat kimia yang selanjutnya berdampak pada masalah kesehatan yang lebih serius harus segera mendapatkan solusi. Kembali pada kebiasaan menggunakan obat yang berasal dari alam dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif solusinya. Terlebih didukung dengan slogan Kabupaten Sukoharjo sebagai Kota Jamu, kegiatan mengonsumsi obat herbal dapat menjadi salah satu kegiatan menjaga kearifan lokal. Dengan demikian, masyarakat perlu kembali diingatkan tentang banyaknya manfaat yang diperoleh ketika mengonsumsi obat herbal. Salah satu bentuk upaya mengingatkan kembali adalah dengan melaksanakan kegiatan proyek kepemimpinan yang berupa kegiatan edukasi tentang tanaman obat keluarga pada PKK Desa Sapen Kecamatan Mojolaban Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Pelaksanaan kegiatan edukasi memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan anggota PKK Desa Sapen tentang jenis dan manfaat tanaman obat keluarga bagi kesehatan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan cara melakukan edukasi pada anggota PKK, baik secara teori maupun praktik, tentang tanaman obat keluarga. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan edukasi adalah pengetahuan dan pemahaman anggota PKK tentang jenis dan manfaat tanaman obat keluarga mengalami peningkatan. Manfaat tanaman obat untuk kesehatan diantaranya dapat berperan sebagai preventif, promotif, kuratif, dan rehabilitatif. Kegiatan ini juga untuk membantu anggota PKK dalam membudidayakan dan memanfaatkan tanaman obat keluarga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Thus, the community needs to be reminded of the many benefits obtained when consuming herbal medicines. One form of reminder is to carry out leadership project activities in the form of educational activities about family medicinal plants in the PKK Sapen Village, Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo Regency. The implementation of educational activities has the aim of increasing the understanding and knowledge of Sapen Village PKK members about the types and benefits of family medicinal plants for health. This activity is carried out by educating PKK members, both in theory and practice, about family medicinal plants. The results of the implementation of educational activities are the knowledge and understanding of PKK members about the types and benefits of family medicinal plants have increased. The benefits of medicinal plants for health can act as preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative.
