Abstract

A study has been conducted to produce soygurt that contain factor-2 isoflavone (6,7,4’- trihydroxy isoflavone), derivat of tempe milk, which was inoculated with Lactobacillus plantarum bacteria. This research consisted of three stages: first was the production of tempe, second was the production of tempe’s milk, and third was the production of soygurt. The production of tempe used single culture of Rhizopus oligosporus and mix culture of Rhizopus stolonifer, Rhizopus oryzae, Rhizopus oligosporus and Rhizopus arrhizus. Protein and lipid content from single culture tempe was 17,28% & 3,92%, whereas in mix culture tempe was 17,24% & 3,96%; in tempe milk using single culture was 3,89% & 2,78%, whereas in mix culture produced 3,79% & 2,58%. Inoculum of Lactobacillus plantarum bacteria in variation of 5%, 7,5%, 10%, 12.5% and 15% v/v in tempe milk were optimized. The measured parameter were pH and formation rate of lactic acid. The best inoculums was 5% v/v. Organoleptic test showed that the best soygurt was soygurt from tempe milk fermentated with single inoculums followed by inoculation with L.plantarum. Protein and lipid content was 3,98% and 2,70%. Thin Layer Chromatography test showed that soygurt contain factor-2 isoflavone useful as antioxidant, antihaemolitic, and antifungi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove and analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance, and to prove and analyze the effect of inter-job conflict as a moderating variable between compensation on the performance of the Public Works and Public Housing Department of Bulungan Regency. The location of this research is the Public Works and Public Housing Agency of Bulungan Regency. The time of the study began in May – July 2021. The research sample used in this study was 47 respondents. The data analysis technique used is a moderation regression analysis approach. The results showed that the compensation variable had a significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Public Works and Public Housing Office of Bulungan Regency. Conflict between jobs is a moderating variable between compensation and employee performance. This shows that the relationship between these two variables can be intervened with inter-job conflict variables, where the results of this intervention will have a strong or weak impact on the relationship between compensation variables and employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeteksi gen tst isolat Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) susu sapi perah dan susu kambing melalui amplifikasi gen 23S rRNA sebagai langkah awal pencegahan beberapa kasus keracunan susu. Metode penelitian meliputi reidentifikasi bakteri, preparasi deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), amplifikasi gen 23S rRNA, amplifikasi gen tst, dan pengurutan DNA. Hasil reidentifikasi bakteri melalui pewarnaan Gram, uji katalase, uji koagulase, uji fermentasi MSA, uji VJA, dan uji VP adalah positif bakteri S. aureus. Hasil amplifikasi gen tst terhadap 3 isolat S. aureus menunjukkan hanya 2 isolat memberikan hasil positif. Hasil positif tersebut ditandai dengan munculnya fragmen DNA yang memiliki panjang spesifik (350 bp) sesuai dengan produk polymerase chain reaction (PCR) dari referensi dan database GeneBank. Disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode PCR dapat terdeteksi adanya gen tst pada isolat S. aureus asal susu sapi perah dan susu kambing dari Bogor.

Abstract

Produksi sampah rumah tangga terus mengalami peningkatan jumlah setiap tahunnya, dan sampah organik menempati proporsi terbesar dari total produksi sampah. Salah satu cara efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan sampah rumah tangga yakni melalui pembuatan eco-enzyme. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mealukan pemberdayaan masyarakat di wilayah Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan Banten melalui praktik pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pembentukan struktur organisasi kelompok penggerak, pemberian penyuluhan tentang eco-enzyme, pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan eco-enzyme, monitoring pembuatan eco-enzyme, dan pendampingan panen eco-enzyme. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pemanfaatan sisa-sisa bahan sayuran dan buah-buahan yang sudah tidak dikonsumsi di lingkungan rumah tangganya untuk dijadikan eco-enzyme. Cairan ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pembersih serba guna, pupuk, perbaikan kualitas udara, dan pemanfaatan lainnya di kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Produksi sampah rumah tangga di wilayah kota Tangerang Selatan terus mengalami peningkatan jumlah setiap tahunnya seiring dengan bertambahnya laju pertumbuhan penduduk, dan sampah organik menempati proporsi terbesar dari total produksi sampah tersebut. Salah satu cara efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan sampah rumah tangga yakni, dengan memotong alur distribusi sampah yang menuju Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) melalui pembuatan eco-enzyme. Eco-enzyme adalah ekstrak cairan yang dihasilkan dari fermentasi sisa-sisa sayuran atau buah-buahan yang dicampur dengan substrat gula merah. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat di wilayah RT 04, RW 09, Pondok Ilir, Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan Banten melalui praktik pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi 1) pembentukan struktur organisasi kelompok penggerak, 2) pemberian penyuluhan tentang eco-enzyme, 3) pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan eco-enzyme, 4) monitoring pembuatan eco-enzyme, dan 5) pendampingan panen eco-enzyme. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pemanfaatan sisa-sisa bahan sayuran dan buah-buahan yang sudah tidak dikonsumsi di lingkungan rumah tangganya untuk dijadikan eco-enzyme. Cairan ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pembersih serba guna, pupuk, perbaikan kualitas udara, dan pemanfaatan lainnya di kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata kunci: Eco-enzyme, pemberdayaan masyarakat, pelatihan, sampah organik, sampah rumah tangga ABSTRACT The production of household waste in the city area of South Tangerang continues to increase every year in line with the increasing rate of population growth, and organic waste occupies the largest proportion of the total waste production. One effective way to deal with household waste problems is to cut the waste distribution channel to the Final Disposal Site (FDS) through the manufacture of eco-enzymes. Eco-enzyme is a liquid extract produced from the fermentation of vegetable or fruit residue mixed with brown sugar as a substrate. This Community Service Activity aims to empower the community in the area of RT 04, RW 09, Pondok Ilir, Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan Banten through practical training on making eco-enzymes. The implementation method includes: 1) forming the organizational structure of the driving group; 2) providing counseling about eco-enzymes; 3) training and mentoring for eco-enzyme production, 4) monitoring for eco-enzyme production, and 5) providing eco-enzyme harvesting assistance. The results of the activity show that the community has acquired knowledge and skills regarding the use of vegetable and fruit leftovers that are no longer consumed in their household environment to be used as eco-enzymes. This liquid can be used as a multi-purpose cleaner, fertilizer, air quality improvement agent, and for other purposes in everyday life. AR di lingkungan pendidikan memiliki potensi untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran konstruktivis melalui memungkinkan peserta didik untuk mengontrol proses belajar mereka sendiri dalam kontak dengan dunia maya dan dunia nyata. AR dapat membuat pengalaman belajar lebih menarik, sehingga menciptakan dampak yang mendalam pada proses belajar dan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap media AR terintergrasi dengan modul. Menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan hasil bahwa menurut persepsi responden pembelajaran dengan AR dapat memperkaya pemahaman konsep, membantu memahami materi, menambah minat belajar. Penerapan sistem pembelajaran konsep fisiologi hewan dengan menggunakan Augmented Reality (AR) telah memuaskan responden dari segi materi dan media tetapi perlu adanya perbaikan aplikasi.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the influence of leadership, organizational culture, work environment both directly and indirectly on the performance of employees of the Bulungan Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) after job satisfaction. This type of quantitative research is explanatory descriptive. The total population and sample is 64 people. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires and continued with analysis using path analysis. The results of hypothesis testing proved that leadership shows a positive and insignificant influence on job satisfaction. Organizational culture shows a positive and insignificant influence on job satisfaction. The work environment shows a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Leadership directly has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, meaning that every increase in leadership will increase employee performance in carrying out the tasks for which they are responsible, but the increase is relatively small. Organizational culture has a direct, positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. Directly, work environment variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This shows that if the work environment is improved by one unit, it will directly increase employee performance. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. The direct influence between leadership, organizational culture and work environment both partially and simultaneously on performance is greater than indirect after going through job satisfaction so that the direct influence is more dominant than the indirect influence.

Abstract

Situ Udik Village faces household waste issues due to population growth and changing consumption patterns, leading to environmental pollution. The 2024 National Community Service Program by Indonesia Open University aims to address this problem by utilizing organic waste as compost to enhance agricultural productivity. The methods include expert-led socialization, compost-making training, and the application of simple technology using buckets as composters. The composting process involves burned rice husks, rice bran, and household organic waste, which are fermented for 21 days (about 3 weeks). The results indicate that the produced compost has a neutral pH and optimal fertility for use as a planting medium. This program not only reduces waste but also improves soil fertility and enhances community welfare through new economic opportunities. Moving forward, research will focus on analyzing the chemical composition of the planting medium and its impact on agricultural productivity. Keywords: Situ Udik Village, Compost, Household Waste
