Abstract

The cost of education at tertiary institutions in Indonesia is relatively high for some groups of people. Indonesian government agencies are trying to reduce this problem. One of the ways is by providing scholarships. The large number of scholarship enthusiasts becomes a challenge for the scholarship manager in making decisions on scholarship recipients. Scholarship selection at UIN Ar-Raniry is undertaken manually, so it is less efficient in making decisions on scholarship recipients. Hence, Decision Support System is required in the selection of scholarship recipients so that it fits with the criteria. With the existence of predetermined criteria, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is employed in which this method is simple, the algorithm is not difficult, and produces precise and accurate analysis based on the specified criteria values and preference weights. This study aims to analyze the SAW algorithm in selecting KIP scholarships at UIN Ar-Raniry so that it can facilitate the selection process. This test is carried out by calculating the weight of the SAW method with the concept of the weighted sum of each alternative and all its attributes. Calculation of the best value ranking results obtained from all the alternatives used that are eligible to become KIP-College scholarship recipients. Hence, it can be concluded that by applying the SAW method in determining scholarship acceptance at UIN Ar-Raniry, it can help facilitate the selection of scholarships efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a phenomenon on social media where technological devices are used to insult, demean, and disrespect others. This can cause mental disorders such as loss of self-confidence, stress, depression, and even suicidal tendencies. The Ditch The Label survey, conducted by a British research institute, identified Instagram as the social media platform with the highest incidence of cyberbullying. The aim of this research is to determine the best accuracy based on the classification results of the cyberbullying comment dataset and to detect new comments as either bullying or non-bullying. One method that can be used is the random forest algorithm, which combines several similar or different methods, such as decision trees, in the classification process. The results of the classification of the testing data using the random forest algorithm show the highest accuracy of 84% in the last hyperparameter tuning combination. The built model can also detect new comments with fairly good predictive results. Suggestions for further research include classifying cyberbullying comments into more specific categories, such as racist or sexist comments.

Abstract

In digital era, development of information technology is unavoidable, almost all sectors have utilized development of information technology to facilitate all human activities, including health agencies. One form of health agency is a clinic. Sometimes in clinics, there is still way to take the queue number manually, thus making queue so long. Based on these problems, queuing system is needed to solve all queuing problems. In this study, used Single Channel Single Phase where Single Channel is service system that has one service, while Single Phase is only having one service station so after receiving service, it can immediately exit queue system. Based on results of the study, conclusions were obtained: The system built has been successfully implemented Single Channel Single Phase method where this success parameter can be seen from system that provides information about the queue that is running so that the waiting time for patients is more efficient. The characteristics of queuing that occur in Mono Valensi clinic with one stage of service show that average queue in system is ± 2 people, average queue is ± 4 people, average waiting time in system is ± 63 minutes, average waiting time in queue is ± 108 minutes.

Abstract

The Ministry of Religious Affairs proposes to increase the cost of Hajj Travel (Bipih) in 1444 H/2023 M to Rp.69.19 million. There is a fairly high increase in costs compared to 2022. This raises sentiment in the community, there are public opinions for and against the issue of rising Bipih on social media twitter. The purpose of this study was to analyze the sentiment on the issue of increasing the cost of Hajj Travel and to prove whether Naive Bayes is a good classifier of text on the issue of incremental sentiment. Naive Baye is one of the best text classifier algorithms. Data taken from social media twitter. The Data are grouped into pro and Contra opinions and then processed using python programming language and jupyter as text editor. Data used as much as 850 data. The Data is divided into training data and testing data with a ratio of 80:20. With the number of training data of 679 data and the number of testing data of 170 data. Then implement Multinominal Naive Bayes algorithm (MNB) as text classifier and word weighting using TF-IDF. The test results obtained accuracy value of 89% and ROC value of 0.91. It is proven that Multinominal Naive Bayes algorithm (MNB) is a good classifier of text for sentiment analysis of opinion on the issue of increasing the cost of Hajj travel because it is included in the Excellent Classification.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal is one of the main processes in managing human resources in a company. PT. Siba Prima Utama Feed Mill evaluates employee performance to assist leaders in making decisions that affect increasing work productivity. Currently, the assessment process is done manually. It causes problems of subjectivity, inaccuracy, and lack of transparency. Employee performance appraisal application is designed to facilitate a computerized appraisal process. The assessment method includes performance results-based evaluation that can define clear and measurable performance goals and involves the sociometric method to map social interactions between employees. This helps direct employee focus and ensures assessment objectives are met. The application is equipped with practical feedback features through a transparent environment. Application development is built using the waterfall method and through black-box testing and SUS (System Usability Scale). The black box test results were declared valid. The SUS test yielded 78 points that were categorized in the excellent standard, which means the application was feasible properly. The employee performance application system is a solution to improve the performance appraisal process more efficiently and objectively.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, free trade grows rapidly and technology develops, affecting economic competition. Forex, foreign exchange trading, is one of the investments used to face this challenge. Technical and fundamental analysis is used to predict price movements in forex trading. Previous studies have used linear regression algorithms and other techniques for price prediction in forex. In this study, the linear regression algorithm is used to predict closing prices in forex trading because the linear regression algorithm is an algorithm that has been widely used in predictions, its strengths are in estimating simple model parameters and data based on time series. In addition, the linear regression algorithm can perform analysis using several independent variables so that the prediction results can be more accurate. The purpose of this study is to create a forex price prediction model, to make it easier for traders to make price predictions. A dataset of 2066 data was obtained through the metatrader software and processed through the preprocessing stage. The linear regression model was created using 5 scenarios, and the evaluation was carried out using the Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) values to select the best model. The results show that linear regression is able to predict the closing price of the USDCHF pair. The best linear regression model is obtained using the independent variable in scenario 1, namely the Open variable, with a linear regression equation of y=0.0145+0.9849x, the best MSE is 0.0000328509 and the best RMSE is 0.0057315705.

Abstract

PT. Sumbertama Nusa Pertiwi is a company engaged in palm oil plantations and processing. In carrying out the operations of PT. Sumbertama Nusa Pertiwi gives awards to employees by selecting the best employees every year. This research aims to design a decision support system to identify the best employees at PT. Sumbertama Nusa Pertiwi by giving a rating to each employee using the Technique for Other Reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The results of this research are a decision support system using the TOPSIS method with ten criteria, namely work performance, attitudes and ethics, motivation, initiative, loyalty, responsibility, discipline, honesty, leadership, and safeguarding company assets. As an alternative, there are five employees, namely Sutrisno, M. Ahyar, Lamidi, Sabar, and Iskandar. With the first rank, namely Sabar with a value of 0.61886, Iskandar with a value of 0.537845, M. Ahyar with a value of 0.529544, Sutrisno with a value of 0.484994, and finally Lamidi with a value of 0.449489. So, the aim of designing a decision support system using the TOPSIS method is to make it easier for companies to determine the ranking of the best employees at PT. Sumbertama Nusa Pertiwi.

Abstract

The development of computer technology that is increasingly modern, fast and practical greatly affects the lives of the wider community. With the existence of increasingly sophisticated technology, a country's education can foster people's abilities, form personalities and progress a dignified country in the context of educating the country's life. Therefore, education is becoming an increasingly large impact that encourages students to achieve the best achievements. One of the factors that support student achievement is craft, adequate facilities, academic grades and also quality educators. The purpose of this study is to determine the achievement of students by predicting using the C4.5 algorithm on the designed web-based application. This research uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method in the process of designing student achievement prediction applications using the C4.5 algorithm. The results of the designed application aim to make it easier for students to increase their potential. The application designed has become an alternative problem solving for student problems regarding achievements, both academic and non-academic. So that when students know it, they can easily continue to hone their respective interests and talents.

Abstract

The Indonesian Stock Exchange Index (BEI) is the main indicator of the Indonesian stock market. The problem in this research is a specific issue to solve the practical problem of predicting the future movement of the BEI index which has strategic value for investors, traders and companies in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to be able to predict the BEI index until the end of 2023, because the stock exchange plays a big role for the Indonesian economy as an economic and financial function. Traditional approaches such as ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) have been used to predict the movement of the BEI index. However, in recent years, machine learning and data mining techniques have become popular as more sophisticated alternative approaches. This research uses a combined approach between ARIMA and machine learning with R Programming. Daily IDX index data from January 2012 to December 2022 will be taken from Yahoo Finance. This data will then be cleaned and processed using R Programming. The ARIMA approach will be used as a baseline to compare machine learning performance. The results focus on the estimated closing stock prices for the next 365 days or the average until the end of 2023. The Time Series value of the possible minimum/maximum predicted value for IDX shares in 2023 is a minimum predicted value of 6786,212 - 6849,559, a maximum predicted value of 6850,093 - 7086,012. Trends represent a good approach in predicting the future direction of closing prices.

Abstract

Health is an important part that must be owned by every human being as a creature of God who is literally part of a social creature and society and needs a decent life to support himself and the surrounding environment. The variety of diseases in Indonesia that hurt its people also has many variations, from non-lethal to deadly diseases such as Tuberculosis disease or commonly known as TB disease. The current system at the Kebayoran Lama South Jakarta Health Center in terms of monitoring the treatment of TB patients is still carried out conventionally, 1) where officers collect patient data written on a treatment card which sometimes if the treatment card can be lost and possibly damaged, so it must be made again, causing a buildup of patient treatment cards, 2) sometimes the treatment card that is usually carried is lost or damaged, 3) the patient forgets when to come back for control and the schedule for taking the medicine, so that it can cause the patient to have to repeat the treatment from the beginning if the time to take the medicine is not according to schedule. Based on these problems, it is necessary to create an application that can strive to monitor patient health in mobile drug administration. The development of this system uses a prototype method model with the aim of this application being able to provide information related to monitoring patient health through regular consumption of drugs according to schedule.
