Abstract

Usability evaluation is needed to identify and analyze usability problems in an application. This study will compare the results of usability evaluation with Heuristic Evaluation and Cognitive Walkthrough methods on the SIMRS Del Egov Center web from the aspects of usability problems found, the level of usability problems, and end user responses that will be evaluated using usability testing to find a more effective method of finding usability problems. Heuristic Evaluation will refer to the 10 heuristic principles proposed by Jacob Nielsen, while Cognitive Walkthrough, the expert will follow the task provided by the researcher. The results showed that the results of the evaluation conducted by Heuristic Evaluation found more usability problems in aspects: efficiency, memorability and satisfaction, while Cognitive Walktrough found more usability problems in aspects: learnability and error. In the severity rating aspect, Cognitive Walktrough is more effective in finding usability problems with a higher severity level, with an average of 3, while heuristic evaluation with an average of 2. In the aspect of end user responses to websites based on usability testing, Heuristic Evaluation has a SUS score which is higher at 57, while Cognitive Walktrough has an SUS score of 54.5. This shows that based on these three aspects, the Heuristic Evaluation method is better at finding usability problems in the SIMRS Del Egov Center application study object.

Abstract

Giving rewards to exemplary citizens is one way to improve the quality of residents in the neighborhood of RT 05 RW 10, Dago Village, Coblong District, Bandung City in maintaining and advancing their environment. Residents are selected based on the attributes of the completeness of mandatory dues payment and the best patrol attendance. However, the problem is that there are several residents who have the same attributes of completeness so that the head of the RT has difficulty deciding the ranking of exemplary citizens. One solution is through the development of a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in determining the priority of choices from several alternatives. The DSS was developed through the use of the prototype method, starting with collecting user requirements, building and improving mock-up, to testing mock-up. The result of this research is a decision support system with a case study of determining the ranking of exemplary citizens using the AHP method which requires five criteria as an assessment, namely discipline (paying mandatory fees), patrol attendance, cleanliness, mutual cooperation, and critical thinking. As an alternative, there are five residents, namely Suwagi, Purwanto, Ahmad, Agus H, and Sadimin. As a result, Purwanto took first place with a final score of 0.2876, followed by Ahmad 0.2291, Suwagi 0.2111, Agus H 0.1556, and Sadimin 0.1168. The results of this study interpret that the purpose of developing a decision support system using the AHP method is to facilitate the RT head in determining the ranking of exemplary citizens.

Abstract

Specialization in the concentration of a major is a student's focus on a particular field of study according to his interests. The purpose of specialization is to focus students more on the knowledge gained from previous courses so that they can be more focused. In the Informatics Engineering study program at the Institute of Asia Malang, there are 3 concentrations, namely: Intelligent Systems; Multimedia and Games and, Computer Network Administration. The absence of a system that helps students choose the concentration of majors is quite difficult for students to know their academic abilities. By looking at these problems, this study aims to build a decision-making system in choosing the concentration of majors using the K-Means Clustering method. Where the data value of semester 1 to semester 4 students is used as a variable in the calculation of the k-means clustering method which is implemented using the PHP and MySQL programming languages. Based on the test results, it was found that in cluster 1 there were 3 students who entered the intelligent system concentration. In the second cluster, there are 20 students who are in the Multimedia and Game concentration, in the third cluster there are 56 students who are in the network concentration.

Abstract

Currently, technological advances for information processing are growing very rapidly. This information technology has been used in various fields in everyday life. By using this technology, it is hoped that the work will be faster and more efficient. Due to being able to manage information more quickly and efficiently, it is possible for every company in its work process to use this technology, one of which is the production process. The production process is the process of making or providing use value to an item. This process is one of the important processes because if there is a shortage or excess in the amount of production it will affect sales. Therefore, predictions are needed to estimate the number of products to be produced so that there is no shortage and excess production. In this study, a prediction system will be made where the data used is taken from the Ummajee Store which is a clothing store where the clothes sold are the results of their own production. The method used to determine the prediction of the amount of production using the Weighted Moving Average method, where this method has a different weighting technique for each given data. In this study to calculate the error in predicting the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), while for the analysis of functional requirements the system uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results of the research, the system has been running as needed and for the use of the method to get an error value of 21% so that the system with the Weighted Moving Average method can be used to predict the amount of production, as well as the system has been running in accordance with the analysis of functional requirements and the results of testing the user response system get the value of 92% which means that the system user states that the system can be used properly so that it can assist in making decisions to determine the amount of clothing production that will be produced in the next period.

Abstract

IT Governance is the structure of process relationships that guide and control an organization to achieve its vision and mission by adding value that will balance risks with IT and its processes. The analytical method used in this research is quantitative and qualitative risk analysis. The Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) approach focuses on analyzing the maintenance of IT resources to find risk factors that need serious consideration and treatment. For the qualitative risk analysis method, NIST SP 800-30 is used to analyze the various threat and risk attributes to provide guidelines for managing IT installations at XYZ Campus. Based on the QRA risk assessment, Internal HR who has access to the server is calculated as the highest potential campus loss. This can be seen in the risk aspect where losses caused by Internal HR who play the role of server admins have the greatest potential for losses. Qualitative assessment of risk management finds sources of threats with high risk are Internal HR and IT Infrastructure Systems. This level of risk can be detected during the hazard source classification process. The presentation of all risk analysis results can provide risk recommendations that will be communicated to campus IT management. To then be able to assist the campus in making a decision that includes policies, procedures, budgets, system operations, and change management.

Abstract

A referral letter management system at the hospital has to be good because a referral letter is a letter from medical personnel/service providers to the hospital. The management of a referral letter is routinely done using spreading a form letter the referral of some hospital to the doctor or service providers manually, and so when the pain that the reference received from the doctor or service providers manually through a patient or the patient family. The purpose of the modeling of the information system for the management of the referral cover letter is to produce a design or model which can then be used to develop a computer-based referral letter management information system, with the development of an information system that is expected to increase the number of referrals from clinics to hospitals and will reduce the use of printed referral cover letters so that there is no need to distribute printed referral cover letters. The system development method is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. Business Process Modelling management information system a referral letter it uses Business Process Modelling and Notation (BPMN).
