Strategic planning in information technology is a planning activity carried out by utilizing technology optimally to support the company's business objectives. This strategic planning must consider the continuous development of information technology to maintain the competitive advantage of a company. The research objective is to analyze the company's internal and external conditions to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to CV. Medica Trisari which is useful for making strategic planning for information systems. The data collection method used in the research to be carried out uses the Observation, Interview, and Literature Study methods. Then use the SWOT Analysis method which can analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist within the Company using the Ward and Peppard approach to ensure IS/IT strategic planning. From the results of the SWOT analysis, several strategic plans were obtained for CV Medica Trisari in developing IS/IT management so that it is able to compete with other competitors. Thus, it can be concluded that the CV. Medica Trisari Company strategy shows a good graph and has a quadrant 1 value. By using McFarlan Strategic Grid analysis, IS/IT output is produced which is expected to be a solution to business process problems and improve the quality of company management.

This study aims to test the legal consulting information system "Advogo" in the hope of finding deficiencies in the system that has been built, and opening up opportunities for improvement and further development of the system. Testing is done by 2 methods, white-box, and black-box testing. The white-box method used in this study is branch and basis path testing, while the black-box method used is the cause-effect graph. The limitation of white-box testing in this study is the SessionController.php file with Index, Create, Store, Show, and Update functions. While the limitations of the black-box are the creation of consultation sessions, authentication, and session bookings. The results of this study are the formation of 10 test cases for white-box testing with 100% valid results, and 14 test cases for black-box testing with 92% valid results, where there is 1 invalid test case so it is necessary to make improvements so that the system can function according to which are expected.

System automation is currently very much needed for the small and medium business industry to large-scale companies. The computerized systems concept is increasingly in demand due to the shift in the industrial era 4.0. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a multi-module application that puts forward the concept of an integrated computerized system that stores all company data in one easily accessed database. This study discusses open source ERP applications for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises by looking at the running business processes that will then adjust to the ERP application module facilitated by the developer. The Enterprise Architecture Planning method acts as an analysis stage and a tool used in business process analysis using the Unified Modeling Language to identify all actors involved and a matrix of relationships between data entities, business processes, and applications. This research provides recommendations modules that can use in open source ERP applications appropriate for the company.

Practical Work Activities carried out in the Information Systems Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology State Islamic University of North Sumatra still carry out the semi-manual attendance recording process. This process is done semi-manually using paper and then entered into Microsoft Excel. This makes the process of processing student attendance data considered less effective and efficient. This is due to the fact that it is difficult to send student attendance data to those who need it and that the data is only stored on a particular computer device. The purpose of this research is to create an android-based application that can be used by the Information Systems study program to process student attendance data and facilitate the distribution of attendance data. This research uses waterfall approach for system development. Includes the stages of Communication, Planning, Modeling, Construction, and Deployment. On the other hand, the system testing method uses the black box testing method. This application is created with a codular framework and spreadsheet database, and can be accessed through android devices and accessed online. The result of this research is in the form of an application that can conduct student practical work attendance and provide report recaps to the study program. This application helps information system study program operators process student attendance data by adding data and facilitating the distribution of attendance data.

In the digital era, public opinions regarding Indonesian horror films often receive significant attention on social media platforms. The objective of this study is to assess the perspectives and sentiments expressed by the public concerning Indonesian horror films. The Support Vector Machine (SVM) method along with Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) is utilized as the primary analytical tool in this research. Issues and public viewpoints regarding horror films are extracted from social media platforms to identify both pros and cons. Employing the SVM method in conjunction with text representation using TF-IDF is expected to provide comprehensive insights into the emotional responses of the public toward specific film genres. The analyzed dataset comprises 2281 entries. Subsequently, the application of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm is employed for text classification, coupled with word weighting using TF-IDF. The outcomes of this analysis exhibit an accuracy of 82.51%, a precision of 5.28%, a recall of 7.26%, and an F1 Score of 6.12%. This study demonstrates the efficacy of the SVM and TF-IDF methods in classifying public sentiment toward Indonesian horror films and has the potential to provide insights into the social impact and reception of film works within the entertainment industry.

SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi is one of the educational institutions in Indonesia. At SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi there is an issue that learning activities are carried out using textbooks and PowerPoint slides as the main teaching tools. It was concluded from the results of interviews between researchers and several teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Bukittingi that the average learning media still uses conventional media. This is less effective in its application, especially in chemistry lessons which require special media that are more realistic, such as pictures of molecules and are easily visible inside and outside the classroom. Regarding this problem, research was carried out with the aim of designing Augmented Reality (AR) based chemistry learning media at SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. Researchers use the Unity application as a media design tool. The aim of this research is to design Augmented Reality learning media using Unity at SMA N 1 Bukittinggi that is valid, practical and effective. Researchers use the Hannafin and Peck model as one of the development models for the SDLC method in this research. In the final stage, researchers used validity, practicality and effectiveness tests to draw conclusions about this research. The results of the effectiveness test from 34 students of class 4 validators got an average score of 0.85 (valid). This value test proves that the learning media that has been designed is useful and can be used in learning.

School performance can be measured through student completion rates, which is a key indicator. Low graduation rates indicate problems in the education and learning system, which require timely intervention to prevent students from not completing their education. Therefore, predicting graduation rates is crucial for schools in order to determine students who are likely to not complete their education, so as to provide early assistance to improve their academic performance. This research is urgent because by understanding and predicting student completion, schools can allocate resources more effectively to support at-risk students, with the ultimate goal of improving graduation rates and overall school performance. This research uses random forest algorithm with graduation dataset. The distribution of training and test data selection uses stratified random sampling method to ensure a balanced representation of each class generated. The Random Forest model was successfully obtained through training and model evaluation using test data, showing an accuracy of 1.0 or equivalent to 100%. The use of the random forest algorithm on student graduation datasets can be an effective approach in supporting timely graduation prediction due to its high accuracy and the model's ability to recognize both graduating and non-passing students.

The rapid digital development has driven Qlise Photography, a provider of photography services including wedding, prewedding, and studio photography, to address the complexity in managing its services. The aim of this research is to enhance the efficiency in managing and booking photography services provided by Qlise Photography through the development of a Website-Based Information System. To tackle the challenges in managing services like wedding, prewedding, and studio photography, the primary approach adopted in this research is the waterfall method, utilizing PHP programming language and leveraging CodeIgniter Framework as the development tool. The findings of this research have positively impacted Qlise Photography, with the implementation of an optimal system. Previously manual, the process of booking photography services can now be accessed and managed efficiently through the online platform. System testing using the Black Box method and the application of the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded a score of 77, categorizing it as GOOD, indicating a positive acceptance rate from users. This marks a significant step in improving customer experience and operational efficiency in addressing the challenges of photography services in the digital era.

IT Strategic Planning (ITSP) is a long-term IT development plan to support organizational goals. ITSP describes a business strategy in an organization by utilizing IT as a supporter in achieving organizational goals. One important factor in implementing ITSP is the use of a methodology for aligning business strategy and IT strategy (strategic alignment). One of the ITSP methodologies is Ward and Peppard which is a comprehensive ITSP framework to support strategic alignment (SA). SA in ITSP is an important requirement in achieving organizational success and is an important issue from a manager's perspective. Based on this, a narrative review research was conducted regarding the implementation of SA in PSTI based on Ward and Peppard. The results of this research explain the application of SA using the critical success factors (CSF) or Balanced Scorecard (BSC) method. The results of the description of the application of the CSF method were 58%, the BSC method was 17%, and the combination of the CSF and BSC methods was 25%. However, all research has not explained this relationship in SA. Therefore, for further research, SA should describe the relationship between goals, business strategy, targets, and measurements by determining SA based on CSF or BSC.

Mobile Apps program-based has given a major influence towards the education sector, specifically in general information about college, especially in stakeholder needs. On the other hand, it also assists in reading the latest events and news, the notification of class schedules, also the information of grades and attendances. The focus of this research is to analyze user preferences including increasing user satisfaction, user retention and design preferences for the interface of Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Syariah Nahdatul Ulama College mobile app using the Kansei Engineering Type 1 method. The study used Kansei engineering method was conducted to analyze various emotional factors relating to the interface of users by comparing five specimens of college’s mobile apps. A total of twenty kansei words were found from thirty Kansei words based on the selection of UI/UX experts. The data obtained is then analyzed using multivariate statistical methods, such as Cronbach's Alpha (CA), Coefficient Correlation Analysis (CCA), and Factor Analysis (FA). The result is four Kansei words that are influential and have the greatest value, namely Dynamic, Impressive, Professional, and Formal. One selected Kansei word produces recommendations for the appearance of the mobile application interface Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Syariah Nahdatul Ulama The analysis was conducted on all participants with a focus on the "Formal" emotion concept.
