Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the use of Camtasia-based audio visual media onstudents' mathematics learning outcomes in class XI Mathematical Logic Material of Muhammadiyah 5Vocational School in Asahan Regency 2016/2017 Academic Year. This type of research is quasiexperimental, which is the sample of the study there are 2 classes (class XI AP-1 and XI AP-2) taken incluster random.Then given a different treatment, the experimental class with the conventional Visual Assisted MediaLearning learning model and the control class with conventional methods. After the learning was completed,posttest was obtained with the results of the experimental class averages 78.7 and the control class 74.7. Theresults of t-test obtained thitung = 2.10> t table = 1.67 then Ha is accepted, thus it can be concluded thatthere is influence of the use of Camtasia-based Audio Visual Media on Student Mathematics LearningOutcomes in Class XI Mathematical Logic Material of Muhammadiyah 5 Kisaran District Asahan2016/2017 Academic Year.Keywords: Use of Camtasia Application-Based Audio Visual Media, learning outcomes, MathematicalLogics

Abstract

This study aims to find out: whether an increase in understanding of mathematical concepts students who learn using contextual approaches is better than students who get conventional learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population of this study was seventh grade students of junior high school. Sample selection is done by cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used is concept understanding tests. The instrument was stated to have fulfilled the requirements for content validity, and the reliability coefficient was 0.77. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and parametric statistical analysis. Statistical analysis was carried out by analysis of covariance (ANACOVA). The findings of this study are that there is an increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who use contextual learning better than students who use conventional learning. From the results of the study it is suggested: (1) Learning with a contextual approach is one alternative for mathematics teachers in presenting mathematics subject matter (2) to other researchers who can continue their research on other subjects and mathematical abilities using a contextual approach

Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted based on the fact that there was a lack in student’s mathematical connection ability. The aim of this research was to examine the enhancement of student’s mathematical connection ability by Alberta model inquiry learning. This research used nonequivalent control group design. Population of this research was all engineering faculty UNA, and the samples were two classes selected by using purposive sampling technique, in which they were used as an experimental class and control class. The experimental class was treated by Alberta Model inquiry learning and control class by conventional learning. Instruments used in this research were mathematics connection ability test and observation sheet. Results showed that student’s mathematical connection ability enhancement in students received Alberta model inquiry learning was better than students who received conventional learning. Keywords: Inquiry Learning of Alberta Model, Mathematical Connection Ability

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profile of SMPN 1 Lemahabang mathematics teacher implicating or not in developing self-concept of students and how much influence the profile of SMPN 1 Lemahabang teacher in developing self-concept of students. This research is a quantitative study using the One ShotCase Study design, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling and a sample of 5 mathematics teachers and 178 students of Lemahabang Middle School was selected. The research method used is the teacher performance appraisal (PKG) and questionnaire/questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the profile of mathematics teachers according to the results of teacher performance evaluations has an average value of 85.43% which falls into the good category. Strengthened by the mathematics teacher's profile according to student perceptions of an average score of 73.86% which is included in the medium category (2) students' self-concept has an average value of 65.23% which is included in the medium category (3) based on Data analysis shows that the mathematics teacher's profile has implications in building students' self-concepts. This can be seen from the price of t count = -0.836 with a significance value of -0.836 <0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there are implications for the teacher's profile in developing students' self-concept

Abstract

ABSTRACT Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dan yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe TAI pada sub pokok bahasan jajargenjang dan belahketupat di kelas VII SMP Hangtuah I Belawan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Hangtuah I Belawan yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Sedangkan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini ada dua kelas, yaitu kelas VII-6 sebanyak 30 orang yang diajar dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dan kelas VII-7 sebanyak 28 orang yang diajar dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI, penentuan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah test essay sebanyak 5 soal yang telah dinyatakan valid. Data dianalsis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian dan pengujian hipotesis disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS) dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) pada sub pokok bahasan jajargenjang dan belahketupat di kelas VII SMP Hangtuah I Belawan, dengan = dan  = 1,632 diperoleh thitung > ttabel sehingga H0 ditolak yang berarti bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe TAI pada sub pokok bahasan Jajargenjang dan Belahketupat di kelas VII SMP Swasta Hangtuah I Belawan. Kata kunci: Model kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share, tipe Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI), Kemampuan Penalaran.

Abstract

Transportation route planning problems determine from a transport mode can be simplified by using network model, which can be represented by graph theory. This important component of the transportation network planning is finding the shortest path. In this thesis will learn how to find the model of a transportation network planning using the shortest path with best path algorithm. This algorithm trying to find the itinerary that requires the least number of transfers. It can be a model of path network transportation with transfer. The used model was the model with matrix.Keyword: Public transportation, Shortest path, Best path algorithm.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran problem possing lebih tinggi daripada mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester III kelas di Prodi Pendidikan Matematika. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara acak yaitu mahasiswa semester III kelas IIIa dan IIIb Prodi Pendidikan Matematika . Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Abstract

Dalam artikel ini dibahas sistem prey predator dengan pemberian makanan alternatif pada predator. Pemberian makanan alternatif bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan makanan predator. Namun, pemberian makanan alternatif memerlukan biaya. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, diperlukan adanya pengendalian terhadap jumlah pemberian makanan alternatif. Penentuan kendali yang optimal menggunakan Prinsip Maksimum Pontryagin. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa pemberian makanan alternatif secara optimal dapat memaksimumkan populasi prey dan predator di waktu akhir serta meminimumkan biaya akibat pemberian makanan alternatif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dalam menggunakan model Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL)  terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa pada materi geometri kelas X MAN Asahan Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian two group pre-test dan posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas yaitu kelas X IPA-3 dan X IPA-4 yang diambil secara cluster random sampling. Pada kelas X IPA-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL)  dan kelas X IPA-4 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung (Direct Interaction). Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperoleh postes dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen 83,7 dan kelas kontrol 70,2. Hasil uji t diperoleh  maka disimpulkan bahwa  terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pengajaran langsung (Direct Intructon) pada materi geometri.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in mathematics learning outcomes through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model with ENGKLUT media (Ladder Snake Englage) in quadrilateral material in class VII Muhammadiyah 5 Surabaya Middle School, amounting to 24 students. This type of research is Class Action Research (CAR). The data collection techniques used are observation techniques, questionnaire techniques, test techniques. The instruments used were the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), teaching materials, student worksheets (LKS), ENGKLUT media, student activity observation sheets, student response questionnaire sheets, learning outcomes test questions. The results showed that (1) The value before the study increased in the first cycle with an average of 74.92, then increased from cycle I to cycle II with an average of 86.44. (2) The average value of student activity from cycle I to cycle II has increased by 2.25%. (3) Students' responses to learning are shown with the percentage of responses "Yes" of 85.42%. Keywords: Learning outcomes, ENGKLUT media (Ladder Snake Enclosure), TGT model.
