Abstract

This study examines the religious extracurricular program as a means of improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education and achieving the objectives of Islamic education. Religious extracurricular activities have a positive effect on student academic achievement and can support the teaching and learning process. The existence of religious extracurricular is deemed necessary to support the achievement of the objectives of Islamic Religious Education learning. The general objective of this research is to describe religious extracurricular activities, find efforts to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education through religious extracurricular activities and find out the factors that influence efforts to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education through religious extracurricular activities in Islamic elementary schools in Salatiga. The researcher chose Islamic elementary school in Salatiga city because besides having a religious extracurricular program, Islamic elementary school in Salatiga city is also a school that implements Islamic values in its school environment. To get the results of the study, a descriptive method was used with a qualitative approach and observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The data of this study were sourced from the Principal, Student Waka, PAI Teachers, and Extracurricular Trainers in Islamic elementary schools in Salatiga. From this research, it was found that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning which was carried out, in general, went smoothly and conducive, and had already used varied learning methods. As for the implementation of religious extracurricular programs in Islamic elementary schools in Salatiga city, they differ from one school to another, with different management and strategies. In addition, each extracurricular trainer directs students to know the five aspects of the PAI curriculum not only in cognitive abilities but also in the affective and psychomotor domains. To achieve this goal, Islamic elementary schools in the city of Salatiga optimize the supporting factors and try to anticipate the existing inhibiting factors.

Abstract

This paper wants to see the other side of the role of various elements of society in contributing to nation-building. The acceleration of development is not solely the responsibility of the government as the holder of government administrative authority and state administration, but it is the joint responsibility of the whole community, including the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI). In the context of education, MUI has contributed significantly in transforming the various developments of the times to contribute to improving the quality of Indonesian human resources. For example, MUI provides full support for equality of religious education and pesantren with public education institutions, provides full support for the existence of religious education institutions through the umbrella of the law, encouraging full strengthening and development of basic character education in educational institutions. From the various roles of the MUI in the development of education, it can be concluded that the greater the role of the MUI in the field of education, the more qualified Indonesian human resources are.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the program of daily habituation activities in shaping the character of students of SMP Negeri 6 Pekalongan City, looking for what characters are to be formed in each daily habituation activity program, and concepts in psychological learning theory in explaining the process of habituation activities in shaping student character. This research is included in the field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study of daily habituation programs in SMP Negeri 6 Pekalongan City are scheduled and conditional, namely tadarus and prayers before KBM (religious and disciplinary), duha prayer (religious and responsibility), dzhuhur prayers (religious and responsibility), canteen honesty (honesty), orderly coming and going home (discipline and responsibility), orderly appearance (discipline and responsibility), respectful flags singing the national anthem, and folk songs (love of the motherland and national spirit), group class picket (care about the environment and responsibility), conditioning the cleanliness (care for the environment), separation of organic and non-organic waste (care for the environment and responsibility). From the daily habituation program can be explained psychological approach, especially with learning theories, including (1) changes in student behavior with habituation activities and carried out repeatedly will be a reinforcer in student behavior in addition to reward and punishment as a reminder process for students, (2 ) students' self-awareness in behaving because of changes in student behavior needs to be seen from the cognitive development of students. Some students are still in the level of concrete operations and most have entered the formal operational stage so students are able to think more mature and able to think logically and logically. In addition, changes in student behavior are formed due to the process of imitation and demonstration from teachers in particular, and friends at school in general. So the role of the teacher, the school environment and the cognitive abilities of students is an important key in shaping behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the quality improvement planning, quality improvement control, quality improvement, and the results of improving the quality improvement of SMP Plus Al-Aqsa Sumedang. This study uses the Juran trilogy theory including; planning, controlling and improving the quality of education. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used include; observation, interview, and documentation study. The results of the study show that; first, the quality planning carried out at SMP Plus Al-Aqsa namely; the strategic step of analyzing market share needs, formulating the vision, mission, and goals of the institution. Second, quality control is implemented at SMP Plus Al-Aqsa namely; the determination of the work structure and supervision carried out by the principal and the internal quality team. Third, quality improvements carried out at Al-Aqsa Plus Junior High School namely; improvement of infrastructure to support institutional activities, formulate short-term, medium-term, long-term programs, and evaluate and identify specific areas that need improvement. The results of improving quality at SMP Plus Al-Aqsa have an impact on learning processes that are more innovative, student achievement and school achievement, customer satisfaction both internally and externally, and compliance with eight national education standards.

Abstract

Technology has penetrated various sides of human life, including in the field of education. Technology in education offers a variety of systematic ways to conceptualize planning, implementation, and evaluation in the educational process. In other words, educational technology helps learning using modern learning techniques. This study uses a research library research method by looking for references related to the title. The findings of this study are that the application of appropriate and ethically appropriate technology can improve performance and learning outcomes that have an impact on improving the quality of education. The author assesses that it is very important to apply technology in the field of education as a facilitator to facilitate all educational processes, so that educational needs can be met effectively and efficiently. Sophisticated technology does not necessarily have a positive impact, but also has a negative impact. So it is necessary to consider in selecting technology and finding solutions related to the use of educational technology so that it can function optimally.

Abstract

Parental attachment does unequivocally have a pivotal relationship with emotion. Parent, especially a mom, is the first and foremost person who has the emotion bond with her child. This bond affects the most of the development of a child. The absent of fulfilment of emotion needs in caregiving of a child, such as a feeling of safety, love and/or compassion, attention, and appreciation, will take an innocent child to a stage of susceptibility that will drive him to be a “vulnerable child” that is a child with fragile personality, frail, fearful, lack of contentment and happiness, et cetera. Parental attachment in the period of growth and development can help challenging tasks so as to trigger cognitive development to the fullest and the growing of sense of self-esteem of a child. This research is using a qualitative approach and analysis, while the type of research is library research.

Abstract

Writing this article was motivated by a change in the education system in Indonesia due to the Covid-19 virus. Learning that was originally carried out face-to-face has shifted to online learning. This is the impact of efforts to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak by carrying out social restrictions. The implementation of online learning has its own challenges for the world of education, not least for the 3T (Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged) regions, because the implementation is sudden and there has been no thorough preparation from the education provider institutions. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze how the problems of implementing online learning in the 3T area and how to solve these problems. The method in writing this article is the library method. The data collection technique used and used is the search for library sources in books, as well as from various journals related to references about related matters. From the findings of the authors, several online learning problems in the 3T area, including inadequate facilities and infrastructure, the lack of teachers' ability to use technology, low learning motivation among students, and the lack of government reach in distributing aid due to limited road access. These problems can be overcome by synergizing the three education centers. The role of the family in providing assistance to children during the online learning process is very important. In addition, the role of educational institutions and providers of education personnel must be extra in communicating with parents and students in online learning. No less important is the role of the community in helping parents accompany and motivate students in online learning. So, synergy between the three education centers is needed to achieve online learning goals in the 3T area.

Abstract

Kiayi Wahid Hasyim, a reformist pro-change, proposed changes and at the same time did the same for the pesantren environment. The most monumental changes in Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng, reforms in the methods and objectives of learning at the pesantren, and the establishment of madrasas. Kiayi Wahid Hasyim made the system tutorial as a bandongan method session. According to him, the bandongan method is very ineffective for the initiative of the students. Few things are aware that Kiayi Wahid Hasyim is a traditionalist who claims to be futuristic. He is a figure who represents circles that are rarely touched by academics, even researchers, most of whom are Western researchers, who tend to fall in love with modernists who are dynamic, adaptive, pragmatic, and not at all hostile to those from the West.

Abstract

The concept of returning to the Al-Qur'an and hadith is always interesting to talk about, both among scholars and lay people. This article aims to find out the dangers of returning to the Qur'an and hadith with translation, the occurrence of differences of opinion among the scholars, and the correct understanding of the Koran and hadith, as well as textual and contextual understanding of the Qur'an. The type of writing of this article is the library research method with the variables being Al-Qur'an, hadith, ikhttilaf and tafsir. The result of the discussion in this article is that it takes quite a long time to understand one difference if you really want to look for the verses of the Al-Qur'an and hadiths that discuss these differences yourself. In addition to having good Arabic language provisions, other knowledge is also needed in understanding the Qur'an so that ulumul quran and understanding hadith (ulumul hadith) emerge. Not to mention the good interpretation of the Al-Qur'an and syarah traditions which need to be used as guidance when trying to understand a verse or hadith. Differences in a case result in different laws and different behavior. This difference is a necessity that has been established by Allah SWT. In understanding the Qur'an, there are those who understand it textually and contextually. The textual understanding of the text is subject to the claim of orthodoxy and the validity of its interpretation, and this leaves only a small space for the exegete to critically dwell on the sides of contextual revelation. The contextual approach is an approach that tries to interpret the Qur'an based on considerations of language analysis, historical background, sociology, and anthropology that prevailed in the life of pre-Islamic Arab society and during the process of revelation of the Qur'an. Next, we will explore the moral principles contained in various approaches.
