Abstract

Kajian dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada bidang sintaksis yaitu frasa. Analisis frasa pada artikel opini “Ketika Ruang Kelas, Memperlambat Kreativitas” yang dimuat pada laman kompasiana.com edisi 29 September 2020 ini dilatar belakangi karena adanya banyak upadiskeberagaman penggunaan frasa pada artikel online khususnya artikel opini. Namun peneliti lebih tertarik dan memfokusnya kajiannya pada frasa nomina dan frasa verba yang bertujuan  agar nantinya dapat menganalisis pemakaian jenis frasa yaitu frasa nomina dan frasa verba  dalam   sebuah   artikel opini. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis frasa pada artikel opini ini adalah metode  penelitian  kualitatif  dengan  teknik dibaca dan dicatat.  Hasil dari penelitian yang menganalisis frasa berupa frasa nomina dan frasa verba, pengkajian frasa nomina dari segi perilaku sintaksisnya peneliti menemukan frasa nomina yang diwatasi Numeralia, Nomina, Adjektiva dan Preposisi. Sedangkan pada frasa verba dari segi kategorinya peneliti menemukan 9 frasa verba koordinatif dan 2 frasa verba apositif dari artikel yang dikaji tersebut. Frase nomina dan frasa verba merupakan unsur yang keberadaannya paling wajib dalam suatu kalimat. Diharapkan dengan memahami jenis frase nomina dan frase verba ini, pembaca akan mampu memahami, membedakan penggunaan frasa dalam sebuah kalimat. Juga diharapkan pembaca mampu mengetahui secara lebih mendalam seluruh makna yang terkandung dalam sebuah kalimat.

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe the forms of syntactic construction or syntactic tools in several culinary slogans. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, because this study will describe the forms of syntactic construction categories in culinary slogans on social media or print media and analyze the syntactic constructions on these culinary slogans. The data in this study are based on written data sources in the form of phrases, clauses, sentences, and the discourse of the culinary slogans that have been collected. This study uses documentation techniques, namely by listening, recording, and classifying the forms of syntactic construction found in culinary slogans to collect data. The analysis technique in this study uses a distributional basic technique, namely the Direct Elements Sharing Technique (BUL) (Segmenting Immediate Constituens Techniques) which is used to categorize a construction on the direct elements that make up the construction and the orthographic equivalent method or written language because it is based on the determining tool part of the language studied. in the form of written language, namely culinary slogans. So it is intended to examine the forms of syntactic construction in culinary slogans on social media or print media.

Abstract

Language is the main means of communication in human life in this world. Language is one of the most important joints in everyone's life. Language can also be learned in certain ways. The learning process can be done by educators through the use of instructional media, one of which is picture media. The role of pictures as a language exposure is a type of language that is not the mother tongue for speakers, but is often used in the environment of the speaker as a medium of continued communication. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the role of images as exposure to language in helping to accelerate children's language. By using the experimental method serves to build relationships that contain causal phenomena which aims to analyze the role of images as language exposure in accelerating the acquisition of children's language. Image media itself at first we recognize the media as a tool in teaching and learning activities that provide visual experiences to children in order to encourage learning motivation, clarify, and facilitate complex and abstract concepts to be simpler, concrete, easy to understand, and accelerate the acquisition children's language. By using pictures as a language exposure makes it more interesting for children to learn languages.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) explain the forms of Indonesian language errors in outdoor media writing in Padang Sidimpuan Utara City, 2) errors in the use of foreign elements and 3) find out the suitability of research results with Indonesian language teaching materials in junior high schools or the community environment. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with samples of outdoor media writing in Padang Sidimpuan Utara City. This research uses an interactive analysis model which includes four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The conclusions of this study are first, linguistic elements that occur language errors in outdoor media, namely errors in the aspect of using punctuation marks, especially periods (.), writing prepositions at, using o'clock and hours, and abbreviations. Second, the type of use of foreign language terms which are often combined with Indonesian. Second, the language is used simultaneously in every Indonesian word or phrase. Third, the results of this study can be adapted to teaching materials in Indonesian language subjects at the junior high school level, especially on spelling material and foreign terms (absorption elements).

Abstract

The large variety of languages used by FIP UMJ students are bilingual and multilingual. This led to the selection of codes used in the utterances of UMJ FIP students. The purpose of this study was to describe the selection of codes used by UMJ FIP students. Based on the Betawi students' speech, the code selection was (1) single language, which includes non-formal Indonesian, Betawi language, and Sundanese language; (2) code switching; and (3) code mix.

Abstract

This study aims to develop animation-based animastra learning media for folk poetry material for grade VII students and determine the feasibility of animation-based animastra learning media based on the assessment of media experts, material experts and student responses. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with potential and problem steps, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trials, product revisions, usage trials, and final products. The research development model used is ADDIE, with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The population of this study were students of SMPN 4 Pagerwojo class VII with a total of 20 students. The sample is all students from the existing population. Data collection techniques used are interviews and questionnaires. The results show that animation-based animastra learning media is feasible to use with a percentage of 97% of media expert validation questionnaires and 82% of material experts and 87% of student response questionnaire percentages in the very good category. The conclusion in this study is that animation-based animastra learning media is feasible, effective and efficient to use and attracts students' interest in learning. Further researchers is suggested to use research results as input and innovation to create interesting unique learning media so that those students do not get bored is learning.

Abstract

This study describes the speech acts of perlocution in the film Kaluarga Cemara by Yandy Laurens, and then relates them to the context of the speech being pronounced. The research has two problems first, how the speech acts of smokings are used in the dialogue of the film Family Cemara by Yandy Laurens and second, how is the context or background of speech acts of speech found in the dialogues of the film Family of Cemara by Yandy Laurens. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, a research that describes and explains data coherently. The technique of providing data in this study uses the note taking technique, which is carried out by recording the data being examined. The note taking technique was carried out to record data in the form of utterances in the dialogue of the film Cemara Family by Yandy Laurens which contained speech acts of perlokusi. While the data analysis method uses the matching method. This method is used to match the form of speech acts of perlokusi with the conditions or context that surrounds them. The data source in this study is a sentence or dialogue which is a speech act of percocution contained in the dialogue of the film Cemara Family by Yandy Laurens. The results obtained show that there are nine forms of speech acts of perlokusi with each different purpose. Some aim to provide confirmation of a number of 2, question 2, statement 3, offer 1, and request 1. Actions that occur when it occurs are not separate from the situation that gave birth to the speech. Context can arise due to the topic of the speaker, the big problem that surrounds the condition of the speaker, the attitude of the speaker over past events, the desire for past conditions, the knowledge possessed by a speech purpose, to the desire to help the interlocutor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand how the first language affects learning a second language. The study is a study in psychoolinguistics the subject of the study is six-year-olds, with madura (the first language) as madura and the second language is Indonesian. The study USES qualitative descriptive methods with a string of string phenomena. Studies have shown the impact of the first language, with the everyday speech of children. The data shows the blending of the first language with the second language. The causes of the influence of the first language are due to the lack of training in English in a daily life, and the use of Indonesian only in school, which is affected by the time both child and mistake (mistake), mistake.

Abstract

This research was purposed for knowing Students Respon  Characteristic in Problem Based Learning Model based on SOLO Taxonomy. We know that, taxonomy was able to help teacher and students on the learning process. It was used for facilitating mental process, and reach out the aims of learning process. This research is qualitative, which has three steps of analyses. The first step is data reduction, the second is data presentation, the last is data verification. This researchment proves that elementary school students’ cognitive are in multistruktural level. It is proved by ten of twelve students’ answer that stop on the third question, eventhough, two of them are in higher level. SOLO taxonomy is easy to do in learning process, it can help teachers to know students cognitive level, so that they are able to choice the best strategy that fit in to learning process.

Abstract

Indonesian is the identity and identity  of an Indonesian nation. Indonesian plays  an important role in all aspects of life. As time goes by, the world is growing. The shift in Indonesian vocabulary has both good and bad effects, causing the existence of the Indonesian  language  to  decline.  Not  only  that,  the  shift  in  one's  lifestyle  is  also increasingly different. In this day and age everyone wants a change, many people are now happy to be outside the home. One of the activities done outside the home is hanging out. Hang out perpetrators usually occur in young people or what is known as the millennial generation. The millennial generation is a group that has the same behavior, place or year of birth. Currently there is a hangout cultural phenomenon, where the current millennial generation often gathers with friends of the same generation or anyone just to brew a drink or taste food in a cafe.
