Abstract

The use of gamification as a teaching strategy in an English language classroom is covered in this study. The goal of this study is to assess how well using gaming features can boost student engagement, motivation, and academic success. The research method used in this article is Library Research, relying on analysis of information sources from various literature, scientific journals, books, research reports, and other related documents that are relevant to this research topic. The findings demonstrated that gamification had a beneficial effect on students' academic performance in English and dramatically raised their participation in class and their enthusiasm to study. The results offer convincing support for using gamification as a cutting-edge and successful teaching strategy in the context of English language instruction. This study adds fresh knowledge about the application of gamification in education and offers useful suggestions for educators and decision-makers to raise the standard of English language instruction in educational settings.

Abstract

The market is a place where interaction between sellers and buyers occurs. In the process of interaction, someone in expressing an opinion should be a speaker expressing in a language that can be understood together. Language is a sign system of arbitrary, free or arbitrary sounds that community members use to cooperate, interact and identify themselves.  The purpose of this study is to explore and elaborate the form of directive speech acts of panam morning market traders. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The commissive speech acts used by traders in peddling their wares were found to be two types of commissive speech acts, namely promising, and offering. After using unique and varied speech, the influence caused by the speech of traders in the Panam morning market was able to attract buyersThe study of directive speech acts and commissive speech acts in interaction speech events in traders in the Panam morning market produced varied findings about the types of directive speech acts and types of commissive speech acts.

Abstract

Taxes are defined as the most important revenue for the government in Indonesia, which is obtained through taxpayer contributions. However, the tax revenue is not optimal caused of the low interest of taxpayers and the lack of awareness, understanding, and socialization of the latest regulations by taxpayers, resulting in a low level of taxpayer compliance. This research aims to know the effect of Taxpayer Understanding, Tax Socialization, E-Filing, and E-Billing in Increasing Taxes on E-Commerce-Based SMEs Taxpayer Compliance. This research uses quantitative techniques with primary data obtained from questionnaires. The population taken is E-Commerce-based SMEs taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama Bandung Tegallega in 2022 using purposive sampling, and the sample used is 100. The results of this study state that Taxpayer Understanding, Tax Socialization, E-Filing, and E-Billing simultaneously affect E-Commerce Compliance among SMEs Taxpayers. Partially, the variables of Taxpayer Understanding, Tax Socialization, E-Filing, and E-Billing positively affect E-Commerce SMEs Taxpayer Compliance.

Abstract

The Minister of Religion issued Decree of the Minister of Religion Number 758 of 2001 concerning the Revitalization of District Religious Affairs Offices. This research aims to determine the level of community satisfaction as measured through 9 dimensions (IKM) regarding services at the Panca Rijang District Religious Affairs Office which has carried out Revitalization. In addition, the 9 dimensions of community satisfaction will be correlated with general satisfaction perceptions to find out what satisfaction factors most influence general satisfaction. This research uses quantitative methodology while the type of research is descriptive research. Data collection techniques use interview, observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques. Primary data sources were obtained from informants, determining informants used purposive sampling techniques, while secondary data was obtained from relevant agency documents. Process and analyze data using descriptive methods. The research results show that, based on the results of the research we conducted, it was found that the quality of service at KUA Panca Rijang was classified as good (79.18%) after the revitalization was carried out. In general, the perception of public satisfaction with KUA services (76.61%). It is also known that 9 service dimensions can predict general service satisfaction with a regression value of 74%. There are 6 dimensions of service that are positively correlated with perceptions of general satisfaction, including; simplicity of procedures, discipline of officers, speed of service, politeness and friendliness of officers, fairness of officers, and feelings of comfort and security.

Abstract

As servants of Allah, humans are required to always remember and mention Allah in order to get the ultimate peace. Zikr is remembering Allah by appreciating His presence, His Holiness, His Praiseworthiness and His Greatness. The focus of the researcher's study is, how is the existence of zikr rateb seribee in the Naqsabandiyah congregation? and whether this zikr rateb seribee can instill Sufi values in the Naqsabandiyah congregation. The method used is qualitative research that uses descriptive-analytical data analysis techniques, namely analyzing the data obtained by conducting interviews, observations and documentation, then through the approach of tasawuf akhlaqi. The purpose is to find out the existence and Sufi values of rateb seribee dhikr in the congregation of Tarekat Naqsabandiyah.  Based on the results of the research, zikr rateb seribe is one of the activities or practices of Sufism in the Indonesian Assembly for the Study of Tauhid Tasawuf or known as MPTT-I. The existence of this zikr rateb seribee has developed from year to year until this zikr reaches abroad, the followers of this zikr rateb seribee have tens and even thousands of worshipers who follow it. This dhikr is a recommendation from religion, the congregation of the naqsabandiyah order who performs this dhikr has a kesufian value embedded in them, namely strengthening the relationship, the tongue is always awake from dirty speech and hurting others, and the mind becomes more positive.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to examine the relationship between training, organizational culture, to employee performance at PT XYZ in Bandung via the moderating effect of job satisfaction. In this quantitative study, questionnaires were sent online using Google Forms to collect data. Using a stratified random sample technique, we selected 40 employees from a population of 40. The t-test, the F-test, simple and multiple linear regression analysis, and path analysis all play roles in the study's analysis procedure. The results showed that training had an effect on employee performance while organizational culture had no effect on performance, training had no effect on job satisfaction, while organizational culture had a positive effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction was not able to mediate the relationship between training and organizational culture on employee performance at PT XYZ in Bandung.

Abstract

Ngidang Ngobeng comes from the word "ngidang" which means sitting cross-legged on the floor and "ngobeng" which means attendant. Ngidang is the tradition of serving food, while Ngobeng is a special officer to assist guests in the Ngidang Ngobeng tradition. This Ngidang Ngobeng activity has become a hereditary tradition in Palembang City and is part of the culture of the Palembang people. The tradition of ngidang ngobeng has begun to fade among the community, especially in the younger generation, in Palembang City today, the tradition of ngidang ngobeng is gradually being eroded by changes in lifestyle and modernization. Palembang people who live in urban areas tend to be more practical and busy so the ngidang ngobeng tradition is less routinely carried out than it used to be. This can threaten the continuity and preservation of this valuable cultural tradition. Therefore, this research aims to find out the meaning of the ngidang ngobeng tradition in Palembang City. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory used uses Phenomenological Theory. The result is that the Ngidang Ngobeng tradition has the meaning of cooperation, honoring guests, togetherness, fostering intimacy, connecting communication between communities, having an Islamic nature, and fostering a sense of social in the process of implementing the Ngidang Ngobeng tradition. Ngobeng tradition is a tradition of Palembang people in living togetherness which is often found at meal events such as weddings, akikah, and other big events.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parents' overprotective behavior and self-adjustment in adolescent girls. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a negative relationship between parental overprotective behavior and self-adjustment in adolescent girls. The subjects in this study totaled 100 subjects, namely high school students. Data retrieval using the likert scale. The data analysis technique used is a product moment correlation test. The results of the correlation test for overprotective variables with self-adjustment in adolescent girls showed (rxy) = -0.697 with p = 0.000, meaning that the hypothesis that there is a correlation between overprotective behavior and self-adjustment is acceptable. Effective donation (R²) showed that overprotective behavior towards self-adjustment contributed 48% and the remaining 52% was influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Digital marketing has replaced conventional marketing strategies and has been widely adopted by companies to promote their brands and reach a wider audience. Marketing through the use of Social Media Influencers is a growing trend in the digital era. Gen Z as a tech-savvy generation utilizes the power of social media to get information related to a brand. Gen Z's trust in the expertise of Social Media Influencers is crucial for marketing effectiveness as a digital marketing strategy. This study aims to provide an overview of the use of Social Media Influencers as a digital marketing strategy in Generation Z. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method and systematically identifies and evaluates directly from previous research. The results of this literature review explain that currently, the use of Social Media Influencers has a significant impact on the marketing results carried out by a brand.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to measure the influence of board size, women on the board, independent commissioner, and audit committee on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Disclosure on the company sector consumer non-cyclical listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017-2021. Method research used in this study is a quantitative approach. The study's Disclosure of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data originates from the Company's Sustainable Report for five years, from _ 2017-2021. The method taking samples used in this study is purposive sampling, obtained by eight companies’ samples for five years of research (2017-2021) with 40 units analysis—data analysis using analysis multiple linear regression. Based on the results, the study can conclude that women on the board influence Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Disclosure. In contrast, the board size, independent commissioner, and audit committee are ineffective toward Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Disclosure. Kindly simultaneous variable independent, namely board size, women on the board, independent commissioner, and influential audit committee, to variable dependent on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Disclosure.
