Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a period of a child turned into an adult. Adolescence women two yearsearlier than men. Data pornography, the adolescent is a large population than the population of theword. WHO and some other word body called on all countries of Southeast Asia to provide itscommitment to observe and protect the needs of adolescents and information, skills, service, and safeenvironment and supportive of essential reproductive health. The reproductive period in the life of awoman who started from menarche until menopause occurs. The menstrual period they aresometimes accompanied by disturbances such as premenstrual syndrome (PMS). It is estimated that80-10% of women do not have PMS, and approximately 25-40% have PMS. Most women experiencePMS symptoms in a long period. The symptoms are of an emotional outburst in the form of anger,high sensitivity, sad, lonely, until the desire to commit suicide. Is research target is to know therelation of between level of knowledge of syndrome premenstrual with the handling of syndromepremenstrual of at adolescent of age 12-15 year in SMP PGRI Bantul.Methods: The study was observational analytic with the cross-sectional approach. The samples wereall students SMP PGRI Bantul amounting to 138 students and measuring the level of knowledge andhandling of premenstrual syndrome using questioner. Analysis of data used univariate and bivariateanalysis with chi-square. Result: There was a relationship between the level of knowledge about premenstrual syndrome withthe handling of premenstrual syndrome in adolescents age 12-15 years in the SMP PGRI Bantul withthe value of P=0,000. Conclusion: There was a relationship between the level of knowledge about premenstrual syndromewith the handling of premenstrual syndrome treatment. Abstract

Background : Based on the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health in 2013 the coverage (D / S) of toddlers in Indonesia amounted to 80.30%, in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in 2014 reached 79.1% had not met the Ministry of Health Renstra target, the level of community participation in Bantul Regency in weighing Posyandu (D / S) of 79.02% and still below 80%, the number of under-five deaths in Bantul Regency in 2014 was 131 toddlers, the highest number of under-five mortality among the five regencies in DIY, for D/S coverage which was still low in Bantul Regency below 80% namely Bantul 1 Health Center is 75.47%, in the Bantul I Health Center area the scope of weighing (D/S) is still low, namely in Trirenggo Village the D / S coverage in October 2015 was 75.95%. Objective: To find out the relationship between the knowledge of mothers about posyandu and the coverage of visits (D / S) of toddlers at Posyandu Mekarsari, Trirenggo, Bantul, Yogyakarta.Method: This study was conducted at Mekarsari Trirenggo Bantul Posyandu in February, the study design used Bivariate Correlation with a cross sectional approach. The population of mothers who have children aged 12-60 months who live in the Mekarsari Posyandu area is 65 respondents. The sampling technique by means of total sampling. Analysis using Chi Square.Results: By using the Chi Square formula, the value of X2 calculated is equal to6,644 with an error rate of 5% (X2 count> X2 table) and p-value <0.05. Respondents in this study can be categorized as having less knowledge, namely 32 respondents (49.2%) and not active in conducting Posyandu visits 34 respondents (52.3%).Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge of mothers about Posyandu and coverage of visits (D / S) of children under five at Posyandu Mekarsari Trirenggo Bantul.Keywords: Knowledge about Posyandu, coverage of visits (D/S) toddlers

Abstract

Background: Standard low of suckle on the breast in some countries because decrease of support breastfeeding for mother in around area. The problem often come at 2012, in global giving exclusive breastmilk still under 50%. Family support for breastfeeding that know breastmilk good food for baby is better supported for success breasfeeding. Study preface in Sidoarum Village mention one of factor about giving exclusive breastmilk is a family support.Goal: The goal of the research to know about the relation of family support with sucessful giving exclusive breastmilk in Sidoarum Village Godean Sleman 2016Method: This research is quantitative research, design with descriptive correlation, use cross sectional research. The subject of the study is mother who has baby between 6 to 11 month at February 2016. In selecting sample, its research use cluster random sampling with 48 respondents. It is analyzed by chi-square and the instrument is used questionnaireResult: The result from 48 responden family support at offer bresfeeding exclusive there are 26 respondent (54,2%). The mother was success give breastfeeding such as 38 responden (79,2%). There is any relation between family support with sucessful giving exclusive breastmilk (p-value=0.000).Conclusion: There is any relation between familly support to sucessful giving exclusive breastmilk in Sidoarum Village Godean Sleman 2016. Abstract

Background: Postpartum care which can be handled by complications such as the entry of germs into the uterus, both exogenously and endogenously. One form of treatment for postpartum mothers who adhere to the old culture is consuming herbal remedies, either homemade or factory-made. Jamu which is a traditional herb, has been widely accepted in almost all countries in the world. According to WHO, countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America use traditional herbal medicine as a complement to primary medicine. Apart from herbal medicine, other postpartum treatments from Java are bengkung, pilis and massage. Objective: To find out whether Javanese Traditional Healing has significant benefits for informants in the postpartum recovery process. Benefit: It is hoped that this study will be a reference in postpartum treatment. Research Method: Qualitative study of phenomenology. The sampling technique used purposive random sampling. With the number of key informants as many as 5 people. Data obtained by interviewing 5 key informants and 4 triangulation informants. Results: The results showed that all of the informants performed Javanese Traditional Healing. 4 informants drank the herbal medicine carrying, did massage, used bengkung and pilis, while 2 informants drank the 40- day herbal sachet specifically for the postpartum period, performed massages and used curves. During consuming herbal medicine, doing massage and wearing curves, information states that her JAVANESE TRADISIONAL HEALING DALAM PEMULIHAN PASCA PERSALINAN PADA IBU BERSALIN NORMAL DI ERA MODEREN Jurnal Ilmu Kebidanan, Volume 9 Nomor 1 Tahun 2021 •42 breast milk is getting heavier, her body is fit, sleep quality improves and her weight slowly returns to normal. No complaints were made. Conclusion: The composition of the herbal medicine consumed by the informants can provide a smoothing effect of breastfeeding and make the body of the infoman fresher and maintain body weight coupled with postpartum massage which is carried out after childbirth. Abstract

Background: The contraceptive method that is most in demand by the public is the injection typecontraceptive method, even though the IUD and Implant are more effective. Cadres, Family PlanningField Officers, and Midwives are officers who directly carry out IEC on contraceptives for fertile agedcouples. The poor quality of IEC will affect the receipt of information about IUD contraceptives andimplants.Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of IEC in the FamilyPlanning Program in improving IUD and implantsMethods: This study is a qualitative study with a case study design. The unit of analysis in this study is at the individual level. Research subjects for the qualitative study were 1 person from P3AP2KB Sleman Regency, namely the Head of IEC, 4 Family Planning Field Officers, 17 family planningcadres, and 4 PUS, 2 midwives in the Moyudan Health Center and Mlati Health Center. The samplingtechnique was done by using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed by usingexplanation techniques (explanation building)Results: Cadres and Family Planning Field Officers do not use the media optimally and materialpresented is limited. The obstacles experienced by cadres in the Information and EducationCommunication process were not mastering the material and not having the skills to do IEC, while theobstacles experienced by Family Planning Field Officers were a lack of Human Resources and adouble workload so they could not directly provide IEC to couples of childbearing age.Conclusion: The implementation of Information and Education Communication for Fertile Couples byCadres and Family Planning Field Officers generally does not work properly. The impact is that manyfertile aged couples do not use contraceptives.Keyword: Communication, Information, Education, Family Planning

Abstract

Background: Diarrhea is one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality around the world and develop countries. In 2014, there were 86 cases of diarrhea in Toapaya Asri District and 34 of them were toddlers. Most of the people already have their own latrines, yet there are still toddlers excrete on improper excretion places. There are also some families who are not having their own excretion facilities in their houses. The lack of knowledge toward individual cleanliness such as the mothers and toddlers hard willingness to wash the hands is also related. The objective of this research is to discover the risk factors of diarrhea incidence to toddlers at Toapaya primary health care in Toapaya Asri Village Regency of Bintan Province of Riau Island. Method: This quantitative research used cross sectional study design by 71 respondents of toddler samples. The primary data in this research were obtained by conducting interviews, observations, questionnaires, and check list. Findings: The relation of toddlers’ excretion behavior and the diarrhea incidence are in P-value 0,002; latrines ownership and the diarrhea incidence are in P-value 0,008. Meanwhile, the variable of mothers’ hand-washing habit has no relation toward the diarrhea incidence from its P-value 1,000; and the variable of toddlers’ handwashing habit has no relation toward the diarrhea incidence from its P-value 0,756. Conclusion : This research shows that the excretion behavior of toddlers and the ownership of latrines relate the diarrhea incidence to toddlers. On the other hand, mothers’ and toddlers’ hand-washing habit has no relation toward the diarrhea incidence. Key Words: Diarrhea, Latrines’ Ownership, Cross Sectiona

Abstract

Background: Growth is affected by internal and external factors. External factor consistof postnatal factor, one of them is nutrition including breastmilk. Nutritional elementsbecome the most dominan influence in children’s growth, especially in early life up to 12month. The coverage of Exclusive Breastfeeding (EBF) in Jetis Public Health Center are77,11%, but the prevalence of fat toddler and skinny toddler also high (9,82% and8,02%).Objective: Knowing the association of EBF and baby’s growth in working area ofPuskesmas Jetis.Method: This study was an observational with crossectional design. This studyconducted in May 2019. Sample were 59 babies aged 6-9 months old. Samplingtechnique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis using chi square with alpa 0,05.Result: Among 44 babies who got exclusive breastfeed, 97,7% of them experiencenormal growth. While among 15 babies who didn’t get exclusive breastfeed, 66,7% ofthem experience normal growth. From chi square test obtained significant result betweenEBF and baby’s growth with p value=0,003, RP=1,4 with CI 95% (1,022-2,103).Conclution: EBF increase the normal growth of babies aged 6-9 months old in JetisPublic Health Center area by 1,4 times. Abstract

Contributing factors in how women capable to make a decision about delivery care are attitude and income factor that will shape their lifestyle, also husband support. People who have in both consumptive and simple lifestyle assumed that giving birth with obstetrician is more save rather than midwife. This research is kualitatif and crossectional study, using stratified random sampling to figure out correlation between life style and husband support with women decision in their delivery care. Questionnaire have distributed to 140 women who giving birth at private practice, public health center, clinic and hospital. This study reveals that most of women (60,7%) have a simple lifestyle while 39,3% categories as consumptive lifestyle. There no significant correlation, refer to p-value of lifestyle is 0.226 and p-value of husband support is 0.648. Woman who have good support from her husband tend to have a sense of coherence, in which influence on their attitude during pregnant and delivery. Inconclusion, most women have a simple lifestyle, but there is no significant correlation in it. Most women have good support from their husband, however there is no significant correlation to make a decision in their delivery care.Keywords: lifestyle, husband support, sense of coherence

Abstract

Family planning program is also specifically designed to create progress, stability, and economic, social, and spiritual prosperity for every resident. The family planning program in Indonesia is regulated in Law No. 10 of 1992. The prevalence of contraceptive use among women aged 15-49 years with marital status is 59.3% using modern methods (Implant, MOW, MOP, IUD, Condoms, Pills), 0.4 % used traditional contraception (MAL/Breastfeeding, Periodic/calendar abstinence, interrupted intercourse, others), 24.7% had ever done family planning, and 15.5% had never done family planning. Method research uses Descriptive observational method using cross sectional design, sampling with total sampling technique. The sample of this research is couples of childbearing age who use modern contraception as many as 249 respondents, by collecting secondary data. The results of the descriptive statistical test showed that most of the respondents were aged > 35 years, 152 (61.0%), the largest respondent's education was high school education 102 (42%), the largest respondent's occupation was as a casual worker as many as 80 (12.0%), the largest parity was in the number of living children 2 were 126 (50.6%), the most used contraceptive method was the Non-MKJP method 193 (77.5%), with the largest injection contraception 160 (64.3%). In conclusion, most of the respondents are >35 years old, with high school education, type of casual work, most parity has 2 living children, non-MKJP contraceptive users with injection dominant contraception.Keywords: Age, Education, Occupation, Parity, Modern Contraceptive Methods

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Maternal death in the reproductive process is a worrying tragedy, because the presence of a mother is the main milestone for achieving a prosperous family and the death of a mother is a disaster for her family2. For this reason, the mother's attitude in preventing pregnancy complications or to reduce pregnancy complications early is to carry out routine checks according to the recommendations of health workers (Doctors, Midwives). So that mothers, husbands and families can find out as soon as possible how to prevent pregnancy complications and if there are problems that arise in pregnancy3. Mortality and morbidity in pregnant women is a major problem in developing countries. In poor countries around 25-50%. The death of fertile women is caused by things related to pregnancy. Death during childbirth is usually a major factor in the mortality of young women at their peak of productivity. In 1996 WHO (Word Health Organization) estimated that more than 585,000 mothers per year died during pregnancy or childbirth, actually more than 50% of deaths in 2 developing countries. The deaths of pregnant women in Indonesia are bleeding, infection and eclampsia, besides that, deaths due to abortion and prolonged labor are also included. About 50% of maternal deaths are caused by diseases that worsen due to pregnancy, such as heart disease and chronic infections. The results of a preliminary study of 10 pregnant women regarding family support for prenatal care, it turns out that there are still 80% (8 people) pregnant women get very good support from their husbands and families, while 20% (2 people) pregnant women get a lot of support from their husbands. as well as family. Objective : To find out family support for the behavior of pregnant women in pregnancy care at BPM Restu Ibu Sragen. Methods : This research was conducted at BPM Restu Ibu Sragen in August 2021. The research design used univariate correlation with this research design using cross sectional.Results : By using the Chi-Square formula and the contingency coefficient, it was found that 53.3% of pregnant women received support from their families and 60% of pregnant women did not regularly perform prenatal care. The results of the cross tabulation between family support and maternal behavior in pregnancy care showed that 40% of pregnant women who did not receive family support behaved irregularly in pregnancy care, with the results of x2 count = 7.22 and x2 table = 3.84 where x2 count > x2 table with a significant level of 0.05. Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support and maternal behavior in pregnancy care at BPM Restu Ibu Sragen. Keywords: Family Support, Behavior of Pregnant Women
